Under President Joe Biden, the illegal immigration crisis at the southern U.S. border has reached critically dangerous levels.
While many examples of Biden's failure to contain or even mitigate the immigration crisis exist, a photo that surfaced this week that depicted 14 illegals stacked "like cordwood" in the back of a vehicle is perhaps one of the most telling -- and frightening -- photos of just how bad the situation has become.
According to Breitbart, "Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John R. Modlin tweeted photos showing 14 migrants packed like sardines inside a blue SUV on March 8."
The vehicle was stopped in Rio Rico, and all of the illegals stuffed in the back donned camouflage clothing in an attempt to evade detection by border authorities.
"A driver and passenger fled on foot from an SUV after Tucson Sector agents pulled behind it in Rico Rico, AZ, last Wednesday. Agents discovered 14 migrants crowded inside. The driver and passenger, also migrants, were later arrested. The 17-year-old driver faces criminal charges," Modlin tweeted.

The vehicle would be tight with 5 or 6 people inside. It's difficult to imagine 14.
But why wouldn't they try? Under Biden's lax -- or more like non-existent -- border enforcement, there's no reason for illegals not to give it a try. They have nothing to lose at this point.
As the numbers continue to worsen, the Biden administration seemingly ignores the crisis further. It's an untenable situation for the United States that brings along with it grave national security concerns.
Modlin provided an update on what he and his agents had to deal with in a short, 72-hour period in the sector they cover. The numbers are absolutely mind-boggling.
Past 72 Hours...
- 2,950 Apprehensions
- 5 Narcotics Seizures
- 16 Criminal Migrants
- 17 Human Smuggling Events
- $4,500 SeizedGreat work by our boots on the ground! #HonorFirst pic.twitter.com/K8VcuLmPlo

Breitbart added: "In February, Tucson Sector agents apprehended more than 23,500 migrants bringing the FY23 total to more than 112,300 migrants, according to an unofficial Border Patrol report reviewed by Breitbart Texas."
With Biden's presidency half over, there's no telling how shockingly worse this crisis will become.
Americans can only hope and pray that in 2024, we elect an administration that will prioritize the border crisis immediately, and at the very least, reinstate the Trump-era policies that kept the situation in check.
