Breitbart News exclusively reports that Apple has just temporarily removed the No. 1 hit "Justice For All" from iTunes.
The song features former President Donald Trump and the "J6 Prison Choir." In the song, Trump recites the Pledge of Allegiance, while, in the background, the J6 Prison Choirs sings the U.S. National Anthem. The song concludes with changes of "USA! USA! USA!"
Take a listen to it for yourself:
Trump just released "Justice For All" less than two weeks ago, and the song quickly rose up the iTunes chart.
From its release on March 3 to March 13, the song was purchased more than 22,000 times. This put it in the No. 1 spot on iTunes's chart for a period of seven consecutive days, topping several other well-known music hits, such as Tim McGraw's "Standing Room Only."
"So great to see this wonderful tribute went to #1," Trump said. "That’s where the people’s hearts are. Never forget!"
According to Breitbart, "Justice For All's" seven-day streak in the No. 1 spot in iTunes recently came to an end courtesy of Apple.
The outlet reports that "the song was temporarily removed from iTunes for a period of hours on Thursday, consequently removing the song from its number one position on the charts."
An Apple Music representative is quoted by Breitbart as claiming:
Seems to have been miscommunication between our communications department and our music operations team. The issue has been escalated and should be back up on our platform soon.
We'll leave it up to you to decide the plausibility of this explanation. But, it certainly wouldn't be the first time that Big Tech targeted former President Trump and his supporters - if that's what really happened here.
According to the choir's website:
J6 Prison Choir consists of individuals who have been incarcerated as a result of their involvement in the January 6, 2021 protest for election integrity after President Donald J. Trump stated "I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard".
"The J6PC continues to make their voices heard through the power of music and sings 'The Star Spangled Banner' every evening before bed," the website adds.
"Justice For All" is being sold for $1.29. The proceeds that are received from these sales are said to be going to "certain J6 families in need."
