Bob Graham, a pivotal figure in American politics, passed away at the age of 87, Breitbart reported.

Bob Graham's career in public service began in the Florida House of Representatives, elected in 1966. He moved on to the Florida Senate in 1970, eventually serving as Governor of Florida starting in 1978, where he was re-elected in 1982. His early political achievements set a strong foundation for a lengthy and impactful career.

After his governorship, Graham continued his journey in politics at the national level. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986, defeating incumbent Republican Paula Hawkins. His tenure in the Senate was marked by significant reelection victories in 1992 and 1998.

Graham's influence extended beyond state politics into significant national issues, including his strong opposition to the Iraq War and insightful contributions as chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee after 2001.

Bob Graham's Unique Approach to Politics

Known for his distinctive approach to governance, Graham performed workdays in various professions, which he believed helped him understand the needs and aspirations of his constituents. This hands-on approach was just one facet of his commitment to public service.

He also maintained detailed diaries, a practice he described as crucial for keeping track of his professional responsibilities and commitments. These diaries became an integral part of his political persona, reflecting his meticulous nature.

His family recalled, "We are deeply saddened to report the passing of a visionary leader, dedicated public servant, and even more importantly, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather."

Advocacy for Education and Environmental Issues

As governor, Graham was not only focused on political achievements but also on significant environmental and educational reforms. He founded the Save the Manatee Club and was instrumental in initiating several environmental programs aimed at preserving Florida's natural resources.

In education, he opposed the elimination of the Board of Regents in 2001, advocating for less politicized control over Florida's university system. This led to a constitutional amendment in 2002 aimed at ensuring educational governance was more merit-based and less subject to political whims.

Graham's commitment to education and the environment highlighted his broader vision for a prosperous and sustainable Florida.

Graham's Legacy in National Politics

Graham's national influence was particularly evident during his tenure as chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. His criticism of the Iraq War and the policies of President George W. Bush marked him as a staunch advocate for truth and accountability in government.

"The quagmire in Iraq is a distraction that the Bush administration, and the Bush administration alone, has created," Graham famously stated in 2003, showcasing his willingness to stand up against prevailing policies when he believed they were misguided.

His bipartisan collaboration was exemplified through his work with Florida Republican Connie Mack and others, which helped him navigate the complexities of Washington politics effectively.

Post-politics, he focused on civic education and served on a commission investigating the 2010 BP oil spill, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to public service even after leaving office.

The judge overseeing Donald Trump's "hush money" trial in New York is a supporter of Trump's electoral rival, Joe Biden.

A lawyer for Trump blasted the "extremely improper" connection during an interview with Breitbart.

"Let’s remember that Judge Merchan is a Biden donor. Let’s remember that his family has a vested financial interest in this case, or … the fact that the case is ongoing," lawyer Josh Binnall said.

"They’re going to try to drag this case out I think as long as possible in order to affect the presidential election."

Trump trial judge tied to Biden

Judges in New York are prohibited from donating to political candidates, but this rule did nothing to stop Juan Merchan from sending $15 to Joe Biden's 2020 campaign.

Merchan also sent $10 to Progressive Turnout Project and Stop Republicans. Perhaps more concerning, his daughter runs a left-wing consulting firm, Authentic Campaigns, that has worked for Biden's 2020 campaign.

Despite clear indications of a conflict, Merchan has declined to recuse himself. Trump lawyer Josh Binnall questioned Merchan's motives for staying on the case despite the damage his role is likely to cause in public trust. Merchan "wants to be on the case so badly" that he doesn't seem to care about the impact of his decision on the justice system.

"He’s putting our entire judicial system really into jeopardy by his failure to simply obey the canons of judicial conduct,” Binnall said.

Judge refuses to step aside

The consulting firm that Merchan's daughter runs has raised millions of dollars off of Trump's trial, Binnall added.

“And so it’s something that his family member as a direct … moneyed interest in, and again, something that is, at the very least shows the appearance of impropriety here,” Binnall added.

Merchan has said he has no financial stake riding on the case, dismissing Trump's claims of a conflict as "speculative and hypothetical."

As jury selection got underway this week, Judge Merchan admonished Trump from the bench for talking out of turn.

"Your client was audibly uttering something," Merchan said. "I won’t tolerate that. I will not have any jurors intimidated in this courtroom. I want to make that crystal clear."

The judge has left the door open to having Trump sit for the trial during his son Barron Trump's high school graduation.

Jack Smith is increasingly unable to hide his frustration with delays in his classified documents case against Joe Biden's electoral rival, Donald Trump.

The prosecutor's sharp, exasperated tone in court filings has led many to see a rift with the judge, Aileen Cannon, who is taking her time scheduling a date in the complex trial.

Trump has accused Smith of trying to rush the case before the election. If Trump were to win the presidency, he could then dismiss the charges.

On the other hand, Smith has griped about delays in the case, while clashing with the judge over various legal issues.

Smith losing his patience

In a new filing on Monday, Smith accused Trump of trying to delay the case indefinitely by citing his packed court schedule. Trump's criminal trial in New York is starting off this week.

"They should not be allowed to use their overlapping engagements to perpetually delay trial in this case,” Smith wrote. “The Court should reject the defendants’ latest delay tactic.”

While Smith has fumed at Trump frequently, the prosecutor has also shown increasing fury toward Cannon over some of her decisions.

The judge has pushed back on Smith's aggressive demands, blasting his "unprecedented and unjust" request for a quick ruling in a dispute over jury instructions after he blasted her for considering a "fundamentally flawed" legal theory.

Cannon holds her own

Cannon has also criticized Smith for "repeatedly" ignoring basic rules on sealing documents and failing to justify his "sweeping" requests for secrecy in the trial.

"The Court finds the Special Counsel's sweeping request and generalized rationales inadequate to overcome the public's common-law interest in access to these materials," Cannon wrote.

Cannon has been a target of criticism from the media and left-wing law experts, who have characterized the Trump appointee as little more than a toady of the former president. Some of have urged Smith to seek the judge's removal, but legal experts say the move isn't likely to succeed.

"Judge Cannon has been consistently wrong on law, and Smith's increasing frustration is evident in his filings," attorney Neama Rahmani told Newsweek.

"It's still unlikely that she will be removed from the case, however," Rahmani said.

Trump has labeled Smith "deranged" and an aggressive partisan who is working to interfere in the election on Biden influence the 2024 election.

Donald Trump shared some sad news on Monday, telling reporters that it "looks like" he will miss his son Barron's graduation because of the liberal judge in his "hush money" trial.

Trump's statement led to an outpouring of sympathy for the Trump family, and a media frenzy as liberal news outlets accused Trump of lying.

The judge, Juan Merchan, has deferred a decision on whether Trump can skip court for Barron's big day.

While nothing is official yet, the judge has left the door open to Trump missing Barron's graduation if the trial is behind schedule.

Trump shares Barron news

The Barron intrigue is not the only family drama surrounding the case.

Trump has criticized the judge for refusing to step aside over his daughter's work for prominent Democrats, including Joe Biden.

The judge also donated to Biden in 2020, breaking legal norms in the process. Trump has labeled the judge "evil," and the Republican presidential candidate is certain to leverage any opportunity to paint the judge as capricious and vindictive.

The judge has warned that Trump could be jailed if he skips the proceedings at any point during the trial, which could last six weeks. Barron's graduation is on May 17. Merchan has already ruled Trump can't attend Supreme Court arguments in his immunity case, but the judge appears somewhat sensitive to the poor optics of forcing Trump to miss an important milestone for his child.

"It really depends on how we are doing on time and where we are in the trial," the judge said.

Will judge separate father and son?

Trump has made no secret of the fact that Barron makes him a proud father. The 18-year-old bears a striking resemblance to his dad and has impressed many with his incredible stature.

"It looks like the judge will not let me go to the graduation of my son who's worked very, very hard and he is a great student," Trump said Monday.

"He's a great student and he's very proud of the fact [that] he did so well and was looking forward for years to having his graduation with his mother and father there."

"It looks like the judge isn't going to allow me to escape the scam. This is a scam trial," Trump added.

Some have encouraged Trump to call the judge's "bluff" and attend the graduation anyway.

At one time, dealers who sold illegal, and addictive, drugs like heroin were called "pushers," as that's what they did with their lethal wares.

Now that label apparently can be applied to China, according to a committee of the U.S. House of Representatives.

report from Just the News documented a new congressional report that confirmed, and provided details of, the Chinese Communist Party's role in pushing the fentanyl crisis that is infecting multiple nations, including the U.S.

The report revealed the Chinese government "subsidizes the manufacturing and export of fentanyl materials and refuses to crack down on the illicit market."

The report is from the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party and coincided with a hearing that included former Attorney General Bill Barr, former DEA Chief of Operations Ray Donovan, and others.

"As President Reagan once said, 'If you want more of something, subsidize it.' Through its actions, the Chinese Communist Party is telling us that it wants more fentanyl entering our country. It wants the societal chaos and devastation that has resulted from this epidemic," explained Chairman Mike Gallagher, R-Wis.

"And yes, it wants more dead Americans," he charged.

The Chinese government claims it is cracking down on drugs, but actually, the committee warned, it is giving Value-Added Tax rebates that "incentivized" the sales of at least 17 illegal narcotics.

Just the News noted, "These rebates alone may have had a significant impact on the amount of fentanyl and fentanyl-like substances exported abroad, specifically to the United States. Studies cited by the committee found that for every percentage point increase in the VAT rebate for a product, exports increased by 13%."

The report said the evidence revealed China not only subsidizing the narcotics trade but providing grants to companies that trafficked fentanyl.

Former Attorney General Bill Barr called the scandalous details "eye-opening."

"The committee’s work has uncovered persuasive evidence that the PRC and CCP are not just bystanders; they are the prime movers. They are knee deep in actively sponsoring, encouraging, and facilitating the production and export of fentanyl and fentanyl precursors for distribution in the United States," he said.

report in the Daily Mail called the House documentation "damning" of Chinese leaders and their support for a drug culture.

The Mail said, "America suffered more than 111,000 overdose deaths in the year to April 2023 — more than 70 percent of them due to fentanyl and other synthetic opioids, says the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."

The report noted that in light of Chinese verbal commitments to fight drugs, and the evidence of the promotions, questions are raised about whether Beijing can be trusted.

Barr suggested part of the solution could be victims bringing civil actions companies and individuals involved in the drug trade.

Fentanyl is so strong that even a minor overdose can be lethal.

“There is nothing the political establishment will not do, and no lie they will not tell to hold on to their prestige and power at your expense. The Washington establishment, and the financial and media corporations that fund it, exists for only one reason: to protect and enrich itself.”

That was Donald J. Trump speaking the most forbidden truth of all, just days before the historic November 2016 election that, to the dismay of the “Washington establishment,” made the brash billionaire outsider America’s 45th president.

Today, as the nation approaches a truly life-or-death election, it is coming to light that an extraordinary revolution has been secretly taking place in the United States of America under everyone’s noses – a revolution that could largely determine the outcome of November's election.

Consider the undeniable truth that not only Donald Trump but also the tens of millions of decent, law-abiding, America-loving citizens who intend to vote for him this November, somehow inspire unending fear and loathing throughout the Washington, D.C. ruling class. That would include not only the ever-more-deranged Democratic Party and the entire “mainstream media” (today a virtual clone of the former Soviet Union’s fake news organs Pravda and Izvestia, which published only official government propaganda), but also the “Deep State,” the permanent federal government bureaucracy that remains – and grows ever larger, like “The Blob” in the classic horror film – regardless of which party is currently “in power.”

One key part of this gargantuan permanent bureaucracy, which operates largely in darkness, has recently been dragged into the light, exposing its hidden but central role in the censorship and silencing of all who oppose the Deep State and its increasingly totalitarian agenda. That highly influential entity, about which most people know very little, is the federal defense/foreign-policy establishment widely referred to within the Capital Beltway simply as … “The Blob.”

Recently, former Trump State Department official Mike Benz, who currently serves as executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online, turned whistleblower and dramatically went public with exactly how the Western defense and foreign policy establishment has been turned against America, the Bill of Rights, and democracy itself.

This massive bureaucracy headed up by the Central Intelligence Agency, explains Benz, literally funded and developed the technology years ago that enabled internet free speech – and then encouraged dissident groups worldwide to use that new free-speech capability to organize and network with other patriots and help them overthrow oppressive regimes.

Yet incredibly, says Benz, the CIA has in more recent times turned against the concept of free speech – at least, when it comes to what it considers dangerous and subversive groups within America! Some of the most “dangerous” groups include conservatives, Republicans, constitutionalists, “MAGA” Trump supporters, and politically active Christians.

One of the chief pretexts for this suppression of domestic speech has been the claim that supposedly subversive domestic groups and individuals were spreading “Russian disinformation,” which of course was a key focal point for the years-long near-destruction of Trump’s presidency. As it turned out, of course, the claim that Trump “colluded with the Russians” was not only definitively proven to be entirely false; it was created (and the damning “Trump dossier” actually paid for) by the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, who did collude big-time with the Russians.

Nevertheless, the claim that Donald Trump somehow had been ushered into the presidency by Russia – and the corollary accusation that virtually anyone defending Trump was a “Putin ally” – defamed and marginalized good people for years.

Not just ‘Putin allies,’ but ‘domestic terrorists’ too

Normal Americans have long wondered how and why law-abiding citizens – including, for example, parents who would stand up and speak their minds at school board meetings to complain about teachers brainwashing their children with Marxist propaganda – could be maligned by the Biden administration as “violent extremists” and possible “domestic terrorists.” (Yes, that happened.)

A previously hidden dimension to this surreal spectacle of branding regular Americans as “terrorists” has now emerged, and it has to do with “The Blob.”

The vast foreign-policy establishment (Pentagon, CIA, State Department, etc.) seemingly was on the right track when promoting internet free speech to democratic resistance movements in other countries – perhaps the most memorable example being the “Arab Spring” in 2010-2012. Dissident groups were aided in throwing off tyrannical regimes by being enabled to communicate, strategize, and organize via social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Internet free speech was helping freedom-loving peoples around the world throw off oppressive ruling regimes.

Sounds good, but even that didn’t always work out so well. William J. Burns, the current CIA director since 2021, took the time in 2020, when he was out of government, to write an article for The Atlantic, headlined “The Blob Meets the Heartland,” in which he expressed some doubts and misgivings about what the agency had been doing:

For most of my three and a half decades as an American diplomat, the foreign-policy establishment (known unaffectionately in some quarters as “the blob”) took for granted that expansive U.S. leadership abroad would deliver peace and prosperity at home. That assumption was lazy, and often flawed.

Riding the waves of globalization and American geopolitical dominance, we overreached. We deluded ourselves with magical thinking about our capacity to remake other societies, while neglecting the urgent need to remake our own. Unsurprisingly, the disconnect widened between the Washington policy establishment and the citizens it is meant to serve.

Ironically, in light of Burns’ comment about “the citizens” whom the Washington policy establishment “is meant to serve,” it turns out that permanent Washington’s stateside activities took a dark turn shortly before Donald Trump became president.

“The Blob,” which up until 2014 or 2015 had been targeting ISIS and other actual terror groups in foreign nations by facilitating the free speech and activism of freedom-loving dissident groups, somehow determined that within America itself, certain groups of people and certain ideas and speech – including being considered a conduit for “Russian disinformation” – were dangerous and needed to be suppressed, censored and thereby defeated.

So when leftist elites today malign and degrade conservatives, Christians, Republicans, pro-lifers, and MAGA folks as “violent extremists,” “domestic terrorists” or – as Biden called Trump and his supporters in a major speech, “semi-fascists” – this is not simply hyper-partisan election-year name-calling. Somehow, thoroughly decent and law-abiding American citizens, if they oppose the narratives and agendas of the Deep State, are now apparently regarded as the newest ISIS-type threat needing to be suppressed.

How can that possibly be? How can good people ridiculously be likened to “domestic terrorists”? What’s really behind the official government obsession with targeting for censorship large swaths of political and cultural views they label “misinformation,” “disinformation,” and an Orwellian term that never before existed – “misinformation,” defined as “truth used to inflict harm”?

It’s all because, according to the permanent government in Washington, D.C., all of this “mis-,” “dis” and “mal”-information represents a huge threat to … wait for it … “democracy.”

But wait, rational people might respond: Democracy simply means the will of the people! The Oxford Dictionary defines democracy as “a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.” The word democracy itself derives from the Greek words “demos,” meaning people, and “kratos,” meaning power. Democracy is, and always has been, a system wherein the governing power depends on the will of the common people – which is precisely how Americans have always understood the term.

However, in today’s “1984”-style world where, as George Orwell wrote, “War is peace,” “Freedom is slavery,” “Ignorance is strength” and everything means its opposite, “democracy” today has been given an entirely new and precisely opposite definition.

What the Deep State has determined, Benz explained to Tucker Carlson during their epic hour-long February interview, is that “preserving democracy” no longer has anything to do with enabling and honoring the will of American citizens/voters, but rather, it is all about preserving the sanctity of so-called “democratic institutions.”

"And who are the democratic institutions?” Benz asks rhetorically. “Oh, ‘it's us’: It's the military, it's NATO, it's the IMF and the World Bank. It's the mainstream media, it is the NGOs [non-governmental organizations]. And of course, these NGOs are largely State Department-funded or CIA-funded. It's essentially all of the elite establishments” that have felt threatened by “the rise of domestic populism,” Benz explained, and who have “declared their consensus to be the new definition of democracy.”

In light of this new official definition of democracy – which has literally nothing to do with the will of the people – it finally becomes clear what politicians from Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to Chuck Schumer and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mean when they continually warn that Donald Trump and his tens of millions of law-abiding, taxpaying, America-loving supporters somehow “threaten our democracy.”

The key word is “our.”

In reality, of course, they loathe true democracy, the idea that “the rabble” might choose their leaders. A shocking new Rasmussen survey shows that when polled, more than two-thirds of America’s wealthiest and most politically engaged elites – 69% – admitted they would be willing to win an election by cheating. That kind of attitude, the willingness to lie, cheat, and steal one’s way into gaining and holding power, helps explain not only the entire “Trump-Russia collusion” hoax, which became a Deep State pretext for censoring and defaming all of Trump’s supporters but also the continual and ever-expanding persecution and mass lawfare campaign directed at Donald Trump himself.

The Washington establishment is described here, which as Trump boldly proclaimed days before the 2016 election, will do anything “to hold on to their prestige and power at your expense,” are not people who believe in “democracy.” Rather, they openly embrace political corruption, oppression, and an explicitly undemocratic ruling system.

But then, just as in the famous horror movie, bad things happen when you encounter “The Blob.”

Joe Biden already is trailing President Donald Trump in many of the polls addressing the coming election in swing states – those vote totals that most likely will decide the presidency.

He attacks Trump constantly, threatening Americans that the probable GOP candidate would destroy "democracy," as running on his own accomplishments likely isn't going to happen.

Those would be inflation of some 19% since he took office, a world in turmoil, a southern border crisis that is threatening the wellbeing of even "sanctuary" cities, trillions in spending on "green" ideologies, and much more.

Of course, his age and mental capacities loom large and ominous in the campaign.

But now there's a new headwind: A call for him to be "compelled to resign" if, in fact, a report that he knew in advance of Iran's plans to launch a war against Israel, and did nothing, is correct.

The call appeared this week from Peter Laffin, a contributor to the Washington Examiner who also has written in RealClearPolitics and the National Catholic Register.

He reported, "An anonymous Turkish diplomat told Reuters this week that Turkey played the role of a back channel intermediary between the United States and Iran in the run-up to the Iranian missile strike in Israel. According to the source, Tehran informed Turkey of its plans for the strike in advance in an effort to limit the potential for further escalation. In response, the U.S. allegedly conveyed to Tehran through Ankara that any action would have to be 'within certain limits.' The White House has denied the claim."

But, he said, "If the report is accurate, and, in particular, if President Joe Biden greenlit a strike against a key American ally, he must be compelled to resign the presidency immediately.

"Such an act, even if taken with the apparent best long-term interests of the ally in mind, represents a stunning betrayal that has the potential to erode trust among allies around the globe. Given the swift rise of the authoritarian axis in the East in recent years, coupled with America’s waning global influence, a scandal of this magnitude must not be tolerated."

He pointed out that the "alleged approval" actually "fits within Biden's overall stance toward Tehran, which is largely indistinguishable from that of former President Barack Obama. In the Obama-Biden view, Iran is not a rogue nation bent on the destruction of the West — the frequent 'death to America' chants by lawmakers and citizens notwithstanding — but a rational international actor that can be reasoned with and bought off at the right price."

After all, under Obama the U.S. sent "billions of taxpayer dollars" to Iran's mullahs to purchase a temporary and "toothless" nuclear deal.

President Trump pulled America out of the scheme, but Biden has tried vigorously to rejoin.

And he's "courting Tehran in other ways... Last September, Biden offered Iran a bouquet of billions in frozen assets as part of a prisoner exchange. One month later, Iran unleashed the Oct. 7 terrorist assault on Israel through its proxy Hamas. It is beyond question that the funds from the prisoner swap freed up other funds for the attack, despite Team Biden’s lame defense of the debacle."

Biden, Laffin charged, "apparently values his relationship with the world’s foremost funder of terrorism as much as his relationship with the only democracy in the Middle East and one of America’s most important allies."

WND earlier reported the exchange that apparently happened before Iran's attack was that that rogue regime sent signals through intermediaries that reached Biden about its pending assault, and his apparent response was that it must be "within certain limits."

It was Reuters that reported a diplomatic source said Iran told Turkey about the plans to attack, and "Washington had conveyed to Tehran via Ankara that any action it took had to be 'within certain limits.'"

Reuters said the Turkish source, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed "Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had spoken to both his U.S. and Iranian counterparts … to discuss the planned Iranian operation, adding Ankara had been made aware of possible developments."

The report explained Iran's attack was in response to Israel's decision to take out suspected targets at an embassy in Damascus.

A report from Israel365News also explained how Iranian officials "communicated their intent to launch a massive attack against Israel with the intention that this message be conveyed to the United States."

That report explained through those same diplomatic channels, "the U.S. conveyed its tacit assent" on one condition.

There have been reports that Biden is working hard to appease Muslims in America because of their large population presence in the swing state of Michigan.

They've been angered that he did not take a more negative attitude toward Israel when it responded militarily against Hamas in Gaza after those terrorists slaughtered some 1,200 Israeli citizens in an attack last Oct. 7.

A new report has revealed a real stunner in fourth place among America's leading causes of death: The abortions from Planned Parenthood.

The leading player in the nation's lucrative abortion industry said in its annual 2022-23 report that the corporation ended the lives of nearly 393,000 during a single year.

And SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser quickly pointed out the unwelcome significance of that figure.

"Planned Parenthood’s business is abortion, abortion, and more abortion. Their annual report shocks the conscience, showing that they ended nearly 393,000 American lives in a single year. This puts abortions performed by Planned Parenthood in the top four leading causes of death in the United States, after heart disease, cancer, and COVID-19," she explained.

"Once again, pregnant women who walk into Planned Parenthood are sold an abortion 97% of the time, rather than helped to keep their child or make an adoption plan. Meanwhile, they saw 80,000 fewer patients, provided 60,000 fewer pap tests and breast exams, and even gave out less contraception."

Then she noted how ordinary Americans are forced by Democrats in Washington to subsidize the abortion industry.

"As a reward, Democrats in Washington and the states sent them almost $700 million from the taxpayers – one-third of their revenue – to end the fiscal year with $2.5 billion in net assets. Vice President Kamala Harris even made a campaign stop at a Planned Parenthood abortion center. In turn, their political arm spends more than any other abortion-related group to lobby the federal government against commonsense policies like protecting babies born alive after failed abortions," she said.

Abortion is one of two major agenda points that Biden adopted upon assuming the Oval Office, and he's promoted the industry at every available opportunity. His other campaign goal is transgenderism for children.

Dannenfelser continued, "Planned Parenthood dropped this bombshell report while many Americans are still recovering from tax day. Any family that hasn’t been living under a rock has noticed that necessities get more expensive by the day. We know that 60% of women who’ve had abortions would rather have kept their babies if they just had more emotional or financial support."

The Democrats' response to that problem, however, has been to "demonize and strip funding from pregnancy resource centers that serve women and their children. Bidenomics has turned into abortionomics. Just like their hero Margaret Sanger, their 'solution' to the struggle of families to keep their heads above water is to kill their children and let the abortion industry rake in record profits," she said.

Planned Parenthood is working hard to grow its industry, a scholar from the Charlotte Lozier Institute explained.

Michael New, Ph.D., noted Planned Parenthood’s annual reports "consistently provide solid evidence that Planned Parenthood continues to prioritize abortion."

He said, "Overall, this new report shows that Planned Parenthood performed 392,715 abortions in 2022. This is a record number of abortions for the organization and represents approximately 40 percent of the abortions performed in the United States. The report also indicates that Planned Parenthood continues to cut back on several health services. Between 2022 and 2023, preventive-care visits fell by 31.0 percent, pap tests fell by 13.5 percent, cancer screenings fell by 1.4 percent, and adoption referrals fell by 4.5 percent. Interestingly, for every adoption referral in 2023, Planned Parenthood performed over 228 abortions."

The report confirms Planned Parenthood's results as being "consistent with Planned Parenthood’s long-term trend of performing more abortions and providing fewer health services," he said.

"In fact, in the past ten years, the number of abortions performed by Planned Parenthood has increased by 20 percent. Meanwhile, cancer screenings fell by more than 58 percent, and prenatal services declined by more than 67 percent."

The organization, in preparation for the coming election, has documented online the anti-life agenda of the Biden administration.

For example, it has tried to force doctors and nurses to participate in abortion and has tried to suppress the rights of those who object to the wanton destruction of the unborn.

Biden worked on this by eliminating the HHS Office for Civil Rights, trying to push through Congress an "equality" plan that demands that abortion at any time is a "right," and pushing for the legitimization of the Equal Rights Amendment, which died decades ago for lack of support.

Explains the report, "The profit-seeking abortion industry wants to erase medical safety standards on the abortion pill Mifeprex – and promote dangerous chemical abortions that put women at risk of heavy bleeding, severe infection, and sometimes death."

Biden even has promoted a piece of legislation known by critics as the "Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act," which would give abortion business operators "carte blanche to carry out abortions throughout pregnancy for any reason."

Biden also has worked to block popular legislation that would stop abortion on demand after five months, refused to protect babies who survive abortion attempts, canceled safety rules protecting Americans from dangerous chemical abortions, refused to recognize an existing federal law banning partial-birth abortions, and more.

Biden also has named the most pro-abortion cabinet ever, with his HHS chief, Xavier Becerra, exhibiting just this week for Congress his refusal to say an abortion of a healthy baby the day before a due date should be wrong.

Further, Biden's administration has been aggressive in trying to make changes that would require all Americans to fund the abortion industry's lavish lifestyle.

He even nominated to the Supreme Court Ketanji Jackson, who "maligned pro-life sidewalk counselors … in ugly and false ways."

Biden's DOJ, further, has ignored a long list of vandalisms against pro-life pregnancy centers while jailing those who try to counsel women against abortion outside industry locations.

Joe Biden's energy secretary, Jennifer Granholm, appeared before a congressional committee and got skewered by Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., for misleading Congress during a previous appearance.

And illegally owning banned stock.

"Why did you mislead us and what were you hiding?" Hawley demanded. "Why did you wait so long? Why did you hide this?"

Granholm had told Hawley during a congressional appearance in early 2023 she did not own any individual stocks subject to bans because of her role supervising the energy industry.

But she did.

And she sold them a month later.

Then a full month after that, she issued a correction to her comments to Hawley.

Granholm claimed her earlier testimony was based on her mistaken belief "that I had sold all individual stocks."

Granholm claimed, despite the two-month delay, "I came back as soon as I found out that I had not sold all individual stocks."

She said she realized her "mistake" and brought it to the committee.

She violated the STOCK Act nine times in 2021 when she submitted reports to the Office of Government Ethics outlining stock trades.

All of those were outside the 45 days allowed by the STOCK Act for government officials to report their financial dealings.

Hawley pointed out that some 130 officials in Granholm's department reported more than 2,700 trades that appeared to violate rules, which the senator called institutionalized corruption.

commentary at Twitchy explained Granholm reveals she "is so mad at him, not that he's caught her but that he has the nerve to question or call her out. The Biden administration has not been held accountable for much, doesn't Josh know who she is?"

Former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr says the re-election of Joe Biden to the presidency this year would be "national suicide."

Barr was appearing Wednesday morning on "America's Newsroom" on the Fox News Channel.

When asked by host Bill Hemmer whom he would support in the 2024 presidential contest between Donald Trump and Biden, Barr indicated:

"Well I've said all along, given two bad choices, I think it's my duty to pick the person I think would do the least harm to the country and in my mind that's ... I will vote the Republican ticket, I will support the Republican ticket."

Barr then sounded the alarm about the most serious threat to the United States.

"I think the real danger to the country, the real danger to democracy, as I say, is the progressive agenda.
