An important fact about Karine Jean-Pierre, the new White House press secretary, has been downplayed by the mainstream media.
It turns out, according to the Washington Times, that Jean-Pierre is in a relationship with Suzanne Malveaux, CNN’s national correspondent.

This relationship between Jean-Pierre and Malveaux is raising questions about a potential conflict of interest that Jean-Pierre will have as the White House’s new press secretary. One of the first to raise this issue was Breitbart News’s Alex Marlow.
“As I reported in Breaking the News, Karine Jean-Pierre is married to CNN anchor and national correspondent Suzanne Malveaux,” Marlow tweeted. “This is one of many examples of the corporate media LITERALLY in bed with the government it covers.”
Marlow was referring to the fact that Jean-Pierre, who will be the first openly gay press secretary in addition to the first Black press secretary, actually lives with Malveaux as well as their 7-year-old daughter.
Breitbart’s Paul Bois also said that this further illustrates “the extent of the White House’s incestuous relationship with the mainstream media.”
Currently, Malveaux is said to work as a national correspondent for CNN. But, before that, she was a White House correspondent. She also has substituted for Wolf Blitzer on The Situation Room, and she has co-anchored Around the World and CNN Newsroom.

The 44-year-old Jean-Pierre is set to take over for outgoing White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on May 13, which is Friday.
Reports have indicated that Psaki might be heading to a job at MSNBC, which has also raised a lot of eyebrows.

Psaki’s deal is reportedly similar to that of Symone Sanders , a former senior spokesperson for Vice President Kamala Harris and White House adviser. Sanders signed a deal for a show with NBC back in January, which will air on MSNBC and will stream Mondays and Tuesdays on Peacock, according to Deadline.
The ties between the Biden White House and the mainstream media are unsettling and lend credence to those who refer to the mainstream media as the political left’s propaganda arm.
As for what to expect from Jean-Pierre, it is not clear. Breitbart News reports, “Jean-Pierre has the reputation of being cautious at the podium, as she has spent some briefings frequently telling reporters she has nothing to say in response to reporters’ questions.”
