The White House is still refusing to acknowledge the existence of Hunter Biden's illegitimate love child as a messy child support battle plays out in the media.
A reporter for the British tabloid Daily Mail asked White House propagandist Karine Jean-Pierre point blank why four-year-old Navy Joan has never been recognized as part of the Biden family.
"I'm not going to speak on that from here," Jean-Pierre said.
As recently as last week, Joe Biden wrongly stated, "I have six grandchildren" during a "Take Your Kid to Work" event at the White House.
"I have six grandchildren. And I'm crazy about them. And I speak to them every single day," he said.
Biden, who has never met his seventh grandkid, said his grandchildren are "crazy about me because I pay so much attention to them." Hunter Biden has also never met Navy Joan, but he is locked in a court battle with the girl's mother, former stripper Lunden Roberts.
Biden initially settled out of court in 2020, but the case was reopened last year when he asked the court to lower his child support payments. Hunter's baby mama says he is withholding information about his finances and pretending to be poor.
Hunter was ordered to share information about his income at a contempt hearing in Arkansas Monday. The judge, Holly Meyer, warned that Roberts could subpoena the art gallery that facilitated the sale of Hunter's suspiciously overpriced "art."
"I'm seeing a lot of things filed, especially by Mr. Biden's counsel, sealing things, redacting things, that are not confidential," she said.
The case could potentially expose Hunter Biden's finances, which could bring headaches for the whole Biden family. Hunter Biden has long been accused of acting as a middleman for a family wide foreign lobbying scheme centered on his politician father.
The court battle is also embarrassing on its own terms, especially for a president who has sought to cultivate a superficial image of "decency."
Huter Biden is fighting Roberts' efforts to have the child take the Biden name -- which Hunter says may not be in the child's "best interest."
At the courthouse Monday, Roberts' lawyer Clinton Lancaster rebuked Joe Biden's failure to acknowledge the child.
"I think it’s embarrassing the president doesn’t acknowledge his granddaughter — who looks just like his son," he said.
