With all of the problems that America and Americans are currently facing, you would think the leader of the country would be working around the clock. But, it isn’t the case with President Joe Biden.
Breitbart News reports that Biden took an early weekend on Friday, leaving the White House before the clock even struck noon.
Biden’s Friday
Earlier in the morning on Friday, Biden hosted a climate summit at the White House, which several world leaders attended. And, that was pretty much the end of Biden’s Friday.
After that, at 10:59 a.m., Biden, along with First Lady Jill Biden, headed over to Air Force One. Biden briefly stopped to make some comments to the press, touching upon his upcoming meeting in Suadi Arabia, the country that he, as a presidential candidate, vowed to treat as a “pariah” for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
“I’m not going to meet with MBS [Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman],” Biden insisted. “I’m going to an international meeting and he’s going to be part of it.”
Biden also touched upon the ongoing energy crisis, which appears to be the main point of his trip to Saudi Arabia. Biden called for more production from American oil companies while scolding them for making too much money from their products during the ongoing crisis.
Shortly thereafter, the first lady went up to Biden, pulled his arm, and said, “we gotta go!” And, that was the end of that. Biden boarded the plane for his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Biden’s vacation gets off to a rough start
It was the following morning that the 79-year-old Biden made national news headlines for falling off of his bike.
The incident occurred during Biden’s Saturday morning bike ride when, at one point, he stopped to talk with a group of reporters. Biden is said to have gotten back up and to have said, “I’m good.”
The official narrative is that the Biden’s foot got caught on the pedal while he was attempting to dismount the bike.
“The President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine. No medical attention is needed,” the White House said. “The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family.”
When asked the following morning how he was doing, Biden began hopping.
