Maxine Waters sides with Iran on downed US drone

In a desperate attempt to undermine President Donald Trump, Rep. Maxine Waters made a colossal mistake.

Even after U.S. military officials confirmed the drone downed by Iran was in international air space, Maxine Waters (D-CA) publically touted the false Iranian report that the drone was in Iranian airspace.

Their Word Over Ours

To appreciate the hypocrisy of the Democrat party and Waters, think back to intelligence reports about Russian interference.

Prior to taking office, Trump questioned whether or not some of our intelligence agencies had their facts straight. When he did this, Democrats as a whole attacked him and accused him of being a traitor.

We still see reports about these statements today, even after Trump walked back the statements after a few months in office and seeing more of what our intelligence agencies had in their files.

Knowing that, Democrats should be extra careful when questioning any intelligence, especially when there is video proof. That did not stop Waters, however, from doing exactly that.

After the drone was taken out, Waters stated: “Trump, you get no credit for so-called stopping the strike against Iran. Why was the unmanned drone in Iran’s airspace? Why the surveillance?”

Wrong on All Accounts

Every part of Waters’ statement was wrong, yet the mainstream media is giving her a free pass. We know both from the video and location reports from the military the drone was not in Iranian airspace.

Considering the attacks against oil tankers, the United States has every right to patrol these areas to help ensure their safety.

Furthermore, Trump did not create the situation with Iran. Iran is and has been the clear aggressor, so Trump hardly created this crisis.

While the mainstream media is giving Waters a pass, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) did not.

He called her our immediately on her comments and stated it was a “disgrace” an elected representative not only believed the Iranian rhetoric but was also helping to spread it.
