Those malefactors in the United States government who did, and are, weaponizing government against conservatives, Republicans, Donald Trump, and others are "going down."

That's the promise from U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., in an interview with investigative journalist Lara Logan, who released a video of the discussion on social media and the congress website, Truth in Media.

Higgins has been investigating various actions by the feds, from the TSA's scheme to use air marshals to track and follow Trump supporters, to the spying on those who traveled by air to Washington on January 4-6, 2021, to the FBI's access to passenger manifests, to the FBI's manipulation of the domestic terror watch list.

He said, "I’m telling you, we’re in uncharted waters as it relates to the weaponization of our government against the American people. I am not frightened of these people. I’ve spent my life serving others, and I love my country. This thing is not going to slip away."

He continued, "They’re not going to take us without a fight. I’m going to fight legally and peacefully and within the parameters of the constitution that I’ve sworn to serve. But they’re going down. These men and their high perch and their position of power and authority that are walking upon our entire history, our deepest core principles. They’re not going to get away with it."

A report at the Gateway Pundit noted, "Representative Higgins is famous for confronting FBI Director Chris Wray back in November 2022 on the confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters INSIDE the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. In November 2023 Rep. Higgins confronted Chris Wray again about the FBI’s confidential human sources that were brought to the January 6, 2021 protests. But this time Clay Higgins brought a photo of the government assets boarding buses before the rally."

Logan previously has posted comments, and evidence, that contradicts the Democrats' ideology that the protest-turned-riot on Jan. 6, 2021, was an "insurrection." And that President Trump was an "insurrectionist."

Truth in Media explained, "Clay Higgins brought his investigative skills from the streets of Louisiana where he was a cop for years to the halls of Congress, where he’s been investigating January 6th ever since it happened. We sat down for a tough, far-reaching interview to explore what he’s learned…"

Higgins explained that even today, air marshals are "following" "the Trump supporters" who traveled to Washington during that Jan. 4-6 time period.

Higgins confirmed Logan's explanation that "You’re not a free country where you’re tracked by air marshals, by the way, at taxpayer expense. And we’re not talking about an insignificant expense. Teams of three air marshals tracing people all over the country? You’re putting physical detail onto people."

He said federal agents are being used "for nefarious purposes. But the people that are complaining about this are the air marshals themselves, digital whistleblowers that are coming forward to tell a congressman that they felt would pay attention."
