The last person former President Donald Trump debated ended up being kicked off the presidential ticket by his own party.
That's why many are looking forward to Trump's debate with President Joe Biden's replacement, Vice President Kamala Harris.
Their upcoming debate is scheduled for Sept. 10, and while Trump likely wouldn't need a secret weapon to mop the floor with Harris on debate night, he made a brilliant move in enlisting former presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard to coach him ahead of the debate.
According to JustTheNews, Gabbard, who demolished Harris in a primary debate in 2019, revealed a strategy that she believes will seal the deal for the former president.
In a recent interview with the Washington Examiner, Gabbard said that Trump's best bet at knocking Harris out during the ABC-hosted debate will be going after her character.

"It’s about her character," Gabbard told the outlet.
She added, "That was really what I exposed in that debate in 2019 when we were both candidates running for president, was her hypocrisy and how she would say one thing and do another."
Gabbard recalled her own verbal match with Harris, which she easily won at the time and made headlines as a result of her strong debate performance.
"I challenged her on the record that she claimed to be proud of, and she had nothing to say to defend that record. Not much has changed between then and now," Gabbard explained.
"It’s not about tying her to Biden, it’s tying her to her own record,” the former Democrat said. "She has very intentionally tied herself as vice president to Joe Biden, pointing out, both of them, that there is no space between them when it comes to policy, that they were a team, that they did everything together. This is about holding her to account for her record and sharing the truth with the American people that Kamala Harris is trying to hide with her lies."
Users across social media reacted to Gabbard's thoughts, with many agreeing and offering other strategies that could work against Harris.
"Gotta have some character to attack!" one X user cleverly wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Shouldn’t be hard to do. She’s lied about so many things."
