Tucker Carlson tempts fate, risks career to go after Rep. Ilhan Omar

Considering what happened to Judge Jeanine Pirro after she went up against Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), it was very surprising to hear Tucker Carlson risk cancellation to unload on her this week.

During his Friday show, Carlson called Rep. Omar “a symbol of America’s failed immigration system if there ever was one.”

Judge Jeanine

When reporting the news, facts matter, especially when you go after a high-profile government figure. Well, at least they matter if you are going after a Democrat.

In the case of Judge Jeanine, she was speculating about something most of us believed anyway. Unfortunately for Pirro, the Fox News higher-ups did not like the fact she made these accusations without concrete proof.

Pirro hosts an opinion show, which should have given her a little leeway in her comments, but that was not the case.

As it turned out, Pirro’s accusations were dead on, but the damage had been done and she was forced to sit on the sidelines for two weeks as the nation continued to polarize over Omar’s comments.

Tucker Carlson

Even with the previous suspension of Pirro, Carlson did not hold back when he got Omar in his sights. He did, however, take a bit of a different approach against Omar.

Rather than challenge her religious beliefs as they related to our country and loyalty, Carlson is going after Omar for the actual words she’s said.

The Minnesota representative has been railing against the United States lately, specifically in defending Venezuela’s dictator Nicolas Maduro.

Carlson stated, “She demands open borders, the unlimited arrival of anyone who wants to come to America, whether they have anything to contribute or not and by the way, you get to pay for it. And if you don’t want to, you’re a bigot.”

The Democrats know the more desperate people they can bring into this country, the better, because their power depends upon people actually needing the government.

The man is risking his career at worst and his immediate future at best by making these comments. It was a bold move by Carlson and it will hopefully be one that is rewarded, not punished.
