Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson recently confirmed that he is among the tens of millions of American voters disappointed in the results of the 2020 presidential election and skeptical of the integrity of the election system that declared Democratic nominee Joe Biden the winner.
In a segment of his program on Monday, he went so far as to echo President Donald Trump by proclaiming the entire election to have been “rigged” in Biden’s favor, as reported by the Washington Examiner.
“This is a real issue”
Carlson went on to recite several ways in which he concluded that the alleged fraud had taken place.
“You’ve heard a lot over the past few days about the security of our electronic voting machines,” he told his audience. “And this is a real issue, no matter who raises it or who tries to dismiss it out of hand as a conspiracy theory.”
Carlson went on to declare electronic votes as inherently less secure than “traditional hand-counting,” which he said voters realize “because it’s obvious, and it makes them nervous.” Trump later shared a clip of Carlson’s remarks on Twitter:

Suggesting that U.S. leaders bear much of the blame for sowing doubt in the minds of American voters about the integrity of elections, Carlson noted that numerous other nations deliberately avoid electronic machines “because they know it undermines confidence in democracy.”
“Rigged against one candidate”
He went on to insist that there should be an investigation into “exactly what happened in this month’s presidential election” without regard to time or cost, declaring that a probe into documented irregularities should be enough to cause the U.S. to “revert immediately to the traditional system of voting, the one that served our democracy for hundreds of years.”
Carlson concluded that the current system “is not working,” adding that it “was rigged against one candidate and in favor of another.”
Furthermore, he alleged that “it was rigged in ways that were not hidden from view,” including what he described as collusion between the mainstream media and the Democratic Party.
“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris refused to explain what they would do if they were elected,” Carlson asserted. “That’s never happened before in any presidential election in American history. But the media allowed them to do it.”
Cementing the supposed collusion, he said, was the role of social media in stifling certain types of political speech. He concluded that those involved in the scheme “rigged the election in front of all of us, and nobody did anything about it.”
