Trump social media gained 1.6 million new followers in August

President Donald Trump hasn’t ever held back when it comes to making sure his social media is reaching all the right people.

According to a recent report by Breitbart News, the Team Trump social media accounts gained a cumulative 1.6 million new followers in the month of August alone.

Because of that, in addition to his existing accounts, the presidential social accounts reached almost 200 million more people than official Democrat accounts.

The accounts are led by X Strategies CEO Alex Bruesewitz, and recently released data indicates that the presidential accounts on TikTok and Instagram outpaced the official Democrat accounts by more than over 160,000,000 views.

The Dirty Details

Data shared with Breitbart News, which is known to be a conservative and Trump-friendly publication, showed that the accounts saw a “98,000,000 view advantage” on TikTok.

Similarly, the accounts have a “64,744,700-view advantage” on Instagram reels for the Team Trump accounts.

The account for TikTok saw 171,000,000 views in total, which was more than double the official Democratic Party account, @Democrats, which had 73,000,000 views.

The Trump account obtained 414,000 new followers on the platform, and those double views were also reportedly accomplished with only about half as many posts (48 posts for Team Trump, and 84 for the Democrats).

On Meta

Over on Instagram, the result ratios weren’t very different. The data showed that Democrats basically got one view for every three views attributed to Team Trump accounts.

The Trump account received 97,945,000 reel views in August, which was almost three times that of the 33,200,300 views that @theDemocrats’ account got in the same timeframe.

Also, Team Trump got about 807,689 new followers on Instagram, and its Facebook received 427,618 followers, and had 53,516,214 views in August.

Bruesewitz made a big promise in his statement about the socials’ growth and impact, saying that they would continue to run “circles around the Democrats.”

The social manager harkened back to a few weeks before when Politico published an article about California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s social media team, pointing to 250,000 followers in a month.

“Meanwhile, our team amassed over 1.6 million new followers across major platforms in August alone—without any fanfare from Politico. Oh well!” Bruesewitz said.

“We’ll keep running circles around the Democrats, despite their massive spending advantage, because their team lacks talent, and we have the world’s top influencer, Donald J. Trump, leading the charge.”
