Trump suggests reporter could ‘go to prison’ for taking unauthorized photo

Reporters from mainstream media giants have a habit of being obnoxious and overstepping boundaries. Most reporters are pursuing political points, not the truth.

When the media is no longer being true to the public then they need to be put in their place, and Trump is an expert at putting them right back where they belong. One reporter found this out the hard way when President Trump reminded him he could “go to prison” for snapping a photo of a letter from North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

Trump doesn’t back down

The Washington Examiner reports: “As the photo was being taken, the reporter, in the midst of a contentious conversation about Robert Mueller’s investigation, said to Trump, “He [Sessions] testified under oath … under threat of prison time, that was the case, Mr. President.”

“Trump, noticing the photograph responded, “Well, you can go to prison instead, because, if you use, if you use the photograph you took of the letter that I gave you … confidentially, I didn’t give it to you to take photographs of it — so don’t play that game with me.”

The media is often more concerned with beating the dead horse that was the “Russia collusion” story than with reporting real news. Trump knows that is all they can talk about and he refuses to play their games.

The mainstream media is furious because they no longer have a stranglehold on news and information in this day and age.

Bully reporters shut down by Trump

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Time and again Trump has made it clear to reporters that they do not own him. Trump isn’t afraid to lash out at reporters who are clearly trying to peddle fake news and smear him.

CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta also found out that Trump could not be bullied.

According to the New York Times, “President Trump took the exceedingly rare step of suspending the White House credentials of Jim Acosta, the chief White House correspondent for CNN.”

This move was extremely necessary, as the article goes on to point out that “Mr. Acosta, who was in the front row just feet from the president, refused several times to sit down or to return a microphone to a White House intern who sought to retrieve it. ”

Trump isn’t afraid to put these people in their place. It is about time too, as the mainstream media has had unlimited narrative control for decades. Trump is taking their power away from them and they hate him for it.

Journalism is about finding the truth, not being a political puppet. Most reporters these days are puppets of the left, and thus should be treated as such.
