President Trump travels to hospital to see wife Melania, who just underwent surgery
Some rather disconcerting news was shared by President Donald Trump about his lovely first lady Melania Trump on Monday that had supporters quickly offering up their prayers of support.
It was revealed that the first lady was admitted to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in order to undergo surgery for a benign kidney condition.

Trump tweeted Monday, “Heading over to Walter Reed Medical Center to see our great First Lady, Melania. Successful procedure, she is in good spirits. Thank you to all of the well-wishers!”
According to Fox News, the first lady underwent an embolization procedure on Monday to deal with an unspecified condition involving one of her kidneys.
That particular procedure involves surgically cutting off the blood supply to an abnormal growth, aneurysm, or tumor growing in the kidneys or liver.
It is unclear if the growth was a tumor or merely a cyst, but it was reported to be benign and non-cancerous with little to no risk of spreading to other parts of her body.
“This morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. The procedure was successful and there were no complications,” stated Stephanie Grisham, communications director for the first lady.
“Mrs. Trump is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and will likely remain there for the duration of the week. The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere,” Grisham added.
Trump tweeted Tuesday, “Our great First Lady is doing really well. Will be leaving hospital in 2 or 3 days. Thank you for so much love and support!”
