Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, but many opponents of President Donald Trump have failed to observe this warning. The Trump curse seems to strike hard and fast.
A well-known Trump critic and rapper Lil Durk is facing attempted murder charges for a February shooting in Atlanta.
Pitchfork reports that Lil Durk “turned himself in to authorities last month after a warrant was issued for his arrest in connection with a February 2019 shooting outside of an Atlanta restaurant called the Varsity.”
He also released a song called “Turn Myself In” and indicated that he planned on turning himself in to authorities in late May.
Releasing the song was a clever marketing move, but still, he faces trial for attempted murder.
Reports say that he is also facing charges for aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and associating with a criminal street gang to participate in a crime.
Lil Durk is no fan of the president. In response to the president’s travel ban, he tweeted simply:
@realDonaldTrump you fu as hell u won clown of the year …

While his comments are far from eloquent and require some concentration to understand, it is easy to see he is a Trump hater.
Commercial Appeal reports:
“Durk recently declared he is Muslim and has been a vocal supporter of BLM. “I’m highly disappointed, definitely, but we can’t do nothing about it,” Durk says about the election of Trump. “All we gotta do now is stick together.”
If Lil Durk truly believed in unity, he would encourage true unity with Trump. Trump has done as much as he can to help all Americans, specifically African Americans.
Unemployment rates for all minority groups are the lowest they have ever been under Trump’s leadership. Lil Durk should be encouraging further cooperation with Trump to keep making America great for all Americans.
Unfortunately, the Trump curse seems to be working its magic. Lil Durk joins Kathy Griffin and other famous liberals who have lashed out at Trump and faced varying levels of poetic justice for it.
