President Donald Trump has been attacked from every side since his election and has been unable to meet certain policy objectives as a result.
However, job creation is an area where Trump has not failed. He has been winning big in terms of increasing the rate of employment since he stepped into office — and according to The Washington Post, over 100,000 more jobs were added to the U.S. economy in October.
Trump flaunts record
It is no secret that Trump isn’t the most humble person out there, in spite of what he may think.
But in this case, his boasting is justified, especially in the face of a mainstream media establishment and political opposition that goes out of their way to highlight everything he does wrong.
Trump lashed out at his political foes, tweeting: “I beat the Bush dynasty. I beat the Clinton dynasty. And I beat Obama and all of his people, and I go to Washington and a lot of — thousands of these people, tens of thousands — are working.”
This statement was prompted by the October employment report that showed the U.S. economy had added 128,000 jobs.
President Trump had to defeat the Bush-era holdouts in the Republican party to win the nomination, he beat Hillary Clinton to win the White House, and he overcame an Obama administration that was doing everything to sabotage him along the way.
Putting Americans to work
President Trump has been putting Americans to work since the day he stepped into office. Not only are the employment numbers impressive, but wages have also been growing, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The jobs market has been so strong that it is sending the S&P 500 to record highs, and fears of a recession have been calmed, according to CNBC.
Trump has put a lot of work into creating high-paying jobs for Americans. He won the rust belt in 2016 on promises of bolstering the manufacturing sector. And so far, he is living up to the pledge he made to American workers, according to The New York Times.
Former President Obama once said of manufacturing jobs: “[Those jobs] are just not coming back.” Well, on Trump’s watch, manufacturing jobs have boomed by an incredible 399%, according to Forbes.
Trump has taken on all challengers and beaten them resoundingly. He has done what many said he couldn’t do. He is far from perfect, but the legions of people he has helped obtain employment won’t be the ones complaining about him.
