Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, whose net worth sits around $137 billion (yes, billion with a B), is set to divorce his wife amid allegations of an affair in what could be the most expensive martial split in world history — and even President Donald Trump couldn’t resist commenting on the bombshell.
Asked for a reaction by reporters outside the White House on Thursday, Trump said: “Well, I wish him luck… It’s gonna be a beauty.”

Bezos is a “Bozo”
The president more fully expressed his thoughts on the matter a few days later, when he took to Twitter to slam his billionaire rival and trash the newspaper Bezos owns, The Washington Post.
He also used the opportunity to nickname the CEO “Bozo” and issue praise to the National Enquirer tabloid magazine.
The Enquirer first broke the story of Bezos’ alleged affair and impending costly divorce, a story which thus far appears to have been accurate.
So sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo being taken down by a competitor whose reporting, I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post. Hopefully the paper will soon be placed in better & more responsible hands!

A history-making divorce
Under Washington state law, Bezos and his wife MacKenzie could be forced to split their hefty fortune right down the middle.
This means the soon-to-be-no-longer Mrs. Bezos could walk away with nearly $70 billion after a 25-year marriage.
Meanwhile, the two are said to be planning to remain friends and co-parents to their four children.

No love lost
It is no secret that there is no love lost between President Trump and Jeff Bezos, so it was entirely unsurprising to see Trump take an easy shot at his rival when the opportunity was so gloriously presented to him.
Wouldn’t you do the same?
