Democrats may not have the best interests of Americans at heart, but President Donald Trump clearly does.
On Sunday, Trump announced on Twitter that one of the al-Qaida-linked terrorists behind the attack against the U.S.S. Cole, Jamal al-Badawi, had been killed.
Our GREAT MILITARY has delivered justice for the heroes lost and wounded in the cowardly attack on the USS Cole. We have just killed the leader of that attack, Jamal al-Badawi. Our work against al Qaeda continues. We will never stop in our fight against Radical Islamic Terrorism!

Our military has once again used its assets to conduct a pinpoint precision strike against a major terrorist.
The strike reportedly took place on Jan. 1 in Marib.
Ground forces soon confirmed that al-Badawi was taken out.
The U.S.S. Cole
The attack against the U.S.S. Cole took place in October 2000 in Yemen.
The boat was in port refueling when suicide bombers tried to take the ship out.
During their attack, a massive hole was ripped through the hull of the boat by an explosion.
As a result of the explosion, 17 sailors were killed and 39 others were injured.
It was an eerie foreshadowing of the boldness of terrorist forces, as the massive 9/11 attack occurred less than one year later.
Caught and Released
Indeed, this justice against al-Badawi was a long time coming.
He was once captured and sentenced, but in 2006, he escaped from jail.
Luckily, he won’t be able to escape justice this time.
