With now two Democrats running for president out of Texas, there has been some concern that President Donald Trump’s hold on the state could be in trouble come election day 2020.
But that fear subsides when you see videos of the treatment Trump’s motorcade received when he arrived in Texas on Wednesday.

Lined Streets to Greet President Trump
Texas has always prided itself on being a conservative state.
For decades, Texas has been an anchor in supporting less government intervention and more state independence from the federal government.
But because many from the east and west coasts of the U.S. are moving to the Lone Star State, the conservative stronghold is losing its strength.
Austin and the University of Texas are also being infiltrated by liberals as of late.
But while liberalism may be on the rise, it is still very clear that Texas is and will remain a conservative state for the near future. Just look at how they treated Trump when he arrived!
Looking ahead to 2020, both Julian Castro, the former mayor of San Antonio, and failed Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke are running for president.
But even though they are both from Texas, there is little faith either of them would be able to win their home state during a presidential election.
While Texans are notorious homers, supporting anything and everything Texas, it is just a bit of a stretch to think the eternally red state of Texas would support a Democrat candidate over Donald Trump.
And of course, while that may not always be the case in the future — especially with Dallas alone seeing about 700 new residents every day — the state should be safe for the immediate future.
The greeting Trump received is proof of that.
