Teenage high school shooter hoped to get Biden impeached

Newly-released documents reveal that Ethan Crumbley, the teen who opened fire at a Michigan high school last November, hoped that the shooting would get President Joe Biden impeached, Fox News reports

Crumbley allegedly expressed this hope in an entry that he made in his journal. The entry was just disclosed on Wednesday in a new court filing.

“Hopefully my shooting will cause Biden to get impeached,” Crumbley wrote.

In other journal entries, Crumbley also repeatedly referred to Biden as “sleepy ******* Joe Biden.” One entry, for example, reads, “sleepy **** Joe Biden will have to make an apolog(y) to [the] people,” presumably after the shooting.

The shooting

The shooting took place at Oxford High School in Michigan on Nov. 30, 2021.

It is alleged that Crumbley fired over 30 rounds during the shooting, in the process killing four students and wounding seven others, including one teacher.

Crumbley is now facing a long list of criminal charges which include both murder and terrorism charges.

The attempt to implicate Crumbley’s parents

Crumbley’s parents, James and Jennifer Crumbley, are facing some criminal charges of their own.

The argument being made by prosecutors is that Crumbley’s parents failed to get their son the mental health assistance that he needed. On top of this, the prosecutors argue that they made the situation worse by purchasing a gun for him, the same gun that was allegedly used in the shooting.

Accordingly, Crumbley’s parents have been charged with involuntary manslaughter.

It was Crumbley’s parents, or rather their attornies, who released their son’s journal entries. What they are trying to do is to prevent Crumbley’s journal entries, text messages, and internet searches from being admitted as evidence in their upcoming trial. This appears to be part of a larger effort to prevent their political beliefs from playing a part in the trial.

Other newly-released journal entries read: “People will be talking about my shooting for years and I will make a huge impact on the United States”; “The first victim has to be a pretty girl with a future so she can suffer just like me”; and “I wish to hear the screams of the children as I shoot them.”
