Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is once again being called out for her anti-Semitic comments — this time by a member of the U.S. Senate.
On Sunday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed both Omar and the New York Times as examples of “the anti-Semitic Left.” “Responsible Dems need to say Enough is Enough,” Cruz wrote on Twitter.
Omar hits back
While the Times did not care to respond to Cruz, Omar did.
She immediately went after Cruz for not making any public comments regarding the shooting at a California synagogue during Passover.
Needless to say, this was far from the end of this debate.
The founder of DML News, Dennis Michael Lynch, immediately lashed out at Omar for ignoring the horrific attack on Easter at the hands of her “fellow Muslim terrorists.”
Vote them out
The attitude among Democrats that anti-Semitic expressions are okay must be addressed.
Cruz is obviously frustrated with the lack of action by Senate Democrats on this matter. In his tweet, he actually mentioned the failure of the Senate to pass an anti-Semitism resolution.
While I would be the first to tell you this country has taken political correctness to new levels in the last few years, issues like this clearly need to be addressed. This is not about being a snowflake and needing a safe space.
No, this is about a blatant attack by a major media outlet and horrific terrorist attacks that are being shrugged off by members of Congress.
This new class of Democrats simply do not get it and time and again say and do things that are reprehensible, while Democratic party leadership does nothing to rein them in.
Come election day 2020, we need to vote them all out of office and get this country back on track again.
