During President Donald Trump's first term, Democrats and other opponents counted on the made-up claims of "Russia collusion" to delay and deter his agenda.
That's debunked and no longer available, so they're turning to lawfare to obstruct him in his second term.
Dozens and dozens of lawsuits have been filed and have been given to leftist judges who liberally have issued an unprecedented number of injunctions preventing the president from deporting illegal alien criminals, as James Boasberg did, cutting spending, eliminating waste, and fraud, securing the nation's border, eliminating the politicized DEI agenda from government and more.
And Trump now has singled out Boasberg, who also recently was given another case against Trump to handle, for a recommendation for an "immediate investigation … before it is too late!"
Democrats, in fact, have been using courts and leftist judges as just about their only opposition to Trump's plans, as the American public largely is lining up in support of the president.
Trump wrote, "How disgraceful is it that 'Judge' James Boasberg has just been given a fourth 'Trump Case,' something which is, statistically, IMPOSSIBLE. There is no way for a Republican, especially a TRUMP REPUBLICAN, to win before him. He is Highly Conflicted, not only in his hatred of me — Massive Trump Derangement Syndrome! — but also, because of disqualifying family conflicts. Boasberg, who is the Chief Judge of the D.C. District Court, seems to be grabbing the 'Trump Cases' all to himself, even though it is not supposed to happen that way. Is there still such a thing as the 'wheel,' where the Judges are chosen fairly, and at random? The good news is that it probably doesn't matter because it is virtually impossible for me to get an Honest Ruling in D.C. Our Nation's Courts are broken, with New York and D.C. being the most preeminent of all in their Corruption and Radicalism. There must be an immediate investigation of this Rigged System before it is too late!"
Congress already has discussed solutions to out-of-control judges including impeachment, an unlikely goal, and defunding them, not likely but still possible.
The Washington Examiner said the "rigged" accusation arose when Boasberg, who already has tried to order Trump to keep criminal illegal aliens inside the U.S. instead of deporting them, also was given a case involving the administration's involvement with Signal, a group chat involving government officials that a reporter accessed.
Boasberg, an Obama appointee, earlier earned a reputation as a leftist for advocating for new laws with which he could attack the J6 protesters who supported Trump in the 2020 election.
The report noted that there are 20 judges on the federal district court bench in Washington, D.C.
Boasberg is also handling the Trump administration's high-profile antitrust case against Meta, in which Meta is accused of a monopoly.
And Boasboerg in 2023 ordered former Vice President Mike Pence to testify in front of a grand jury about his contact with the president in the days leading up to Jan. 6, 2021.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem recorded a warning video to criminal aliens in the United States, urging them to self-deport. If not, she said, government authorities would "hunt you down, arrest you, and you could end up in this El Salvadorian prison."
The video was part of Noem's tour of the infamous facility, known as CECOT, El Salvador's Terrorism Confinement Center, where some of the recently deported are housed. According to the Trump administration, the deported illegal aliens are members of the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua.

The Trump administration is beginning to crack down on school districts that allow biological males to compete in female sports, as his Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights opens an investigate into the government school system in Portland, Oregon.
The department Tuesday announced it had sent a letter to Superintendent of Portland Public Schools Dr. Kimberlee Armstrong notifying her that the Office of Civil Rights, or OCR, has opened an investigation into the district amid allegations it has violated Title IX – the landmark federal law that prohibits sex-based discrimination among entities that receive federal funds.
According to a statement from the U.S. Department of Education, "These allegations include allowing a male track student athlete to compete in a girls' interscholastic track and field competition on March 19, 2025, and permitting the male athlete to use the girls' locker room while female athletes were changing. OCR also sent a letter notifying the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA), the governing body for the Portland Interscholastic League, that it was opening a directed investigation into its 'gender identity participation' policy, which appears to violate Title IX."
The investigation is based on a complaint filed with the OCR.
"We will not allow the Portland Public Schools District or any other educational entity that receives federal funds to trample on the anti-discrimination protections that women and girls are guaranteed under law," said Craig Trainor, acting assistant secretary for Civil Rights. "President Trump and Secretary McMahon have been steadfast in their commitment to protect the rights of women and girls. OCR will use every lawful means to ensure that no female athlete is denied equal athletic opportunities or robbed of her rightful accolades."
The DOE further explained that the male athlete in question competed in the girls' track and field division over the last two seasons. He took the first-place trophy from female competitors in the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes, beating the closest female racer in the 400-meter dash by over seven seconds and setting season records, typical results for males who compete against females on the rack.
OSAA's "gender identity participation" policy "allows students to participate for the athletic or activity program of their consistently asserted gender identity while providing a fair and safe environment for all students."

PALM BEACH, Florida – President Donald Trump is not thrilled, to say the least, about a portrait of himself on display in Colorado's Capitol.
In a message posted on Truth Social Sunday night, Trump said: "Nobody likes a bad picture or painting of themselves, but the one in Colorado, in the State Capitol, put up by the Governor, along with all other Presidents, was purposefully distorted to a level that even I, perhaps, have never seen before.
"The artist also did President Obama, and he looks wonderful, but the one on me is truly the worst. She must have lost her talent as she got older.
"In any event, I would much prefer not having a picture than having this one, but many people from Colorado have called and written to complain. In fact, they are actually angry about it!
"I am speaking on their behalf to the Radical Left Governor, Jared Polis, who is extremely weak on Crime, in particular with respect to Tren de Aragua, which practically took over Aurora (Don't worry, we saved it!), to take it down. Jared should be ashamed of himself!"
Two minutes after his original complaint, Trump posted his own new official photographic portrait on Truth Social.
"That's a dumb picture, but hey, is it as bad as anything Hunter Biden did? No, he didn't blow art through a straw."
In a statement to 9NEWS Sunday night, a spokesperson for the governor said, "Gov. Polis was surprised to learn the President of the United States is an aficionado of our Colorado State Capitol and its artwork.
"The State Capitol was completed in 1901, and features Rose Onyx and White Yule Marble mined in Colorado, and includes portraits of former Presidents and former governors. We appreciate the President and everyone's interest in our capitol building and are always looking for any opportunity to improve our visitor experience."
The Trump portrait was painted by Sarah A. Boardman, a British-born artist based in Colorado Springs.
At the painting's unveiling ceremony, Boardman indicated she was trying to match the classical realist style of Lawrence Williams, the artist who had painted all 43 previous presidential portraits, and who died in 2003.
She said it took approximately four months to paint Trump, basing it on a photo approved by the Capitol Building Advisory Committee.
"My portrait of President Trump has been called thoughtful, non-confrontational, not angry, not happy, not tweeting," Boardman said at the time, according to Time magazine.
"In five, 10, 15, 20 years, he will be another president on the wall who is only historical background, and he needs to look neutral."

A state's top legal officer is endorsing President Donald Trump's move to obtain a definitive court ruling on "birthright citizenship" in the United States which has been used for generations to give citizenship to any child born on U.S. soil, regardless of the status of the parents.
Trump has issued an executive order that the practice ignores the Constitution's requirement that they be "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States.
The fight is one of those in which local judges across America have issued nationwide injunctions to halt, and it's at the Supreme Court now.
Now Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti has filed a friend-of-the-court brief in support of Trump's position.
"Courts are empowered by the Constitution to resolve cases and controversies, not to issue sweeping policy proclamations or manage the executive branch," Skrmetti said in a statement. "The American people are the ultimate source of authority and legitimacy for every branch of our government, and every court interpreting the Constitution must therefore adhere to the understanding of the voters who adopted the constitutional language.
"Undermining the sovereignty of the American people through judicial overreach threatens to alienate the people from our constitutional system and thereby cause grievous harm to liberty and public order. Our system depends on checks and balances and each branch of government, at both the federal and state levels, is by design intended to push back against overreach by the other branches. That tension between branches is how we prevent the concentration of undue power in any one place and thus keep Americans free. We look forward to the Supreme Court clarifying these fundamental issues and will continue to litigate strategically to advance the interests of Tennessee."
His announcement explained, "According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, over nine million illegal aliens have entered our country in just the past few years. After crossing the border, many illegal aliens have moved into interior states like Tennessee. This voluminous influx has caused significant strain on resources and poses ongoing economic, health, and public safety challenges for Tennessee and many other states. While lax border security in the past caused much of the problem, it was incentivized and compounded by an expansive interpretation of the Citizenship Clause which is not consistent with numerous sources contemporaneous with the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment."
It said, "The Supreme Court of the United States has never squarely addressed the scope of the Citizenship Clause, though government actors have for decades operated under the assumption that the clause guarantees birthright citizenship in almost all circumstances."
A decision that the "jurisdiction" clause limits those who are granted U.S. citizenship would be a huge weapon in the arsenal presidents have to protect the integrity of America's borders, the nation's security, and its citizens.
Tennessee's filing supports Trump's application to stay sweeping preliminary injunctions by multiple district courts in cases addressing birthright citizenship.
It stresses that courts should interpret the Citizenship Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution "in accordance with its original public meaning and should only exercise their judicial power within the confines of specific cases and controversies and consistent with principles of separation of powers."
Trump's Executive Order 14160, "Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship," is his belief that there should be limits.
The Citizenship Clause states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
It was ratified in 1869 and addressed the infamous Supreme Court ruling in Dred Scott that denied citizenship to blacks.
Trump's argument is that the protections of citizenship do not automatically fall on children born of illegal aliens, or those who are in the nation of temporary visas, as there remain questions whether those are "subject to the jurisdiction."
Trump's opponents, both inside and outside the federal judiciary, claim that his understanding of the 14th Amendment would leave thousands of U.S.-born children, some born as part of "birth tourism" whereby illegal aliens break into the United States to have children, giving them to benefits of citizenship, stateless.
The opponents say that would lead to marginalization of "certain communities."
Earlier, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost signed on to a brief supporting Trump's position. He joined 17 other Republican attorneys general to endorse the clarification that children born of illegals inside the United States do not qualify for automatic citizenship.
The states are harmed because such an agenda imposes costs on them.
One analysis explains that even if Trump ultimately does not come out victorious at the Supreme Court, he still could be a winner with a ruling on an issue that already has been causing concern at the Supreme Court.
That's the issue of national injunctions being issued by local judges who are supposed to address controversies inside their own federal judicial districts.
The Department of Justice already has asked the high court to limit those local judges from imposing their own political agendas on the entire nation.
The DOJ explained, "The Executive Branch cannot properly perform its functions if any judge anywhere can enjoin every presidential action everywhere."
States have been told to respond to Trump's requests at the Supreme Court.
It was Justice Neil Gorsuch who once called such nationwide injunctions "cosmic injunctions."
He said the Supreme Court has needed to address the issue for some time.

Rogue federal judges have created what some analysts already have called a constitutional crisis by claiming that President Donald Trump isn't allowed to run the executive branch, over which the Constitution gives him authority, the way he sees would help America the most, without their approval.
They've blocked his plans to cut fraud, waste and corruption, to remove illegal alien criminals from the U.S., to secure the border, and to operate foreign policy as he determines is best,
The result is that many are discussing impeaching some of the leftists in black robes.
That, however, would require at least some support from Democrats because the GOP doesn't hold a two-thirds majority in the Senate, which would have to remove the judges after a House conviction.
U.S. Sen. Chip Roy, R-Texas, is suggesting another way, which can be accomplished with simple majority votes in the House and Senate, where the GOP does have control: Take away the judges' funding.
On social media, he said, "Lots of noise about impeachment. We must study every ruling & act accordingly w/ everything on the table (noting: 14 Dem votes required in Senate.). But, more fertile ground… 1) House can pass a resolution stating there is/was an invasion, 2) we can defund radical courts."
An analysis at the Gateway Pundit turned blunt: "While impeachment is the rightful remedy for out-of-control judges, the reality of the Senate's two-thirds vote requirement (67 out of 100 senators) makes removing these radicals difficult. Even if every Republican senator voted in favor of conviction, 14 Democrats would need to defect—an unlikely scenario."
It continued, "Rather than wasting time on performative impeachment votes, House Republicans can take immediate action by blocking funding for these weaponized courts through the appropriations process. With Republicans controlling the purse strings, judges … can be rendered powerless—unable to pay their bloated staffs or enforce their unconstitutional rulings."

An American freed from the Taliban in Afghanistan after being held hostage for two years is thanking President Trump for his freedom.
"I feel like born again … [and] in debt with President Trump. Thank God he's in the White House. He got me out," explained George Glezmann after his return to the U.S. this week.
WND reported earlier that Glezmann is the third hostage to be released by the Taliban since January.
He was taken by the Taliban in 2022 while traveling through the Middle East as a tourist.
According to the State Department, his release was negotiated by U.S. and Qatari officials, and he was accompanied back to the U.S. by Adam Boehler, who was appointed by President Donald Trump to free Americans held hostage around the world.
The release came after Boehler met with officials from the Afghan foreign ministry, the report said.
It explained Glezmann was seized by the Taliban's "intelligence services" and Qatar was involved because it has diplomatic relations with Afghanistan while the United States does not.
Earlier this year, before he left office, Joe Biden struck a deal to give the Taliban a member in U.S. custody in exchange for American hostages Ryan Corbett and William Mckenty.
Marco Rubio, Trump's secretary of State, said, ""George Glezmann is free. George was wrongfully detained in Afghanistan for two and a half years, but now he's on his way to be reunited with his wife Aleksandra. Welcome home, George!"

Fulfilling another of his campaign commitments, President Donald Trump on Tuesday released a huge number of documents relating to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
They now are on the National Archives website.
There are about 2,182 PDF documents with more than 63,000 pages, including typewritten reports and handwritten notes.
There is a claim from a top CIA agent who said the "deep state" was responsible, the allegation the Secret Service was warned three months before the murder of the plot, and the documents still contained redactions and ambiguities.
A report confirms former U.S. Army Capt., and CIA informant, John Garrett Underhill Jr. "The day after the assassination, Gary Underhill left Washington in a hurry. Late in the evening he showed up at the home of a friend in New Jersey He was very agitated. … A small clique within the CIA was responsible for the assassination, he confided, and he was afraid for his life and probably would have to leave the country. Less than six months later Underhill was found shot to death in his Washington apartment. The coroner ruled it a suicide."
The Daily Mail reported, "Larry J. Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics and author of 'The Kennedy Half-Century,' said he had a team that started going through the documents but it may be some time before their full significance becomes clear. 'We have a lot of work to do for a long time to come, and people just have to accept that,' he said."

PALM BEACH, Florida – Is it possible that President Donald Trump will actually run again for president in 2028 and win?
The answer is yes, according to former Trump aide and popular talk-show host Steve Bannon.
"I'm a firm believer that President Trump will run and win again in 2028. So I've already endorsed President Trump," Bannon told NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo Tuesday night.
"A man like this comes along once every century, if we're lucky. We've got him now, he's on fire, and I'm a huge supporter, and I want to see him again in 2028."
The 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states: "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."
When Cuomo mentioned the term limits, the host of "War Room" responded: "We're working on it. I think we'll have a couple of alternatives, let's say that. We'll see what the definition of term limit is."
"We've had greater long shots than Trump 2028," Bannon said.
Regarding his strategy, he noted: "We're not prepared to talk about it publicly, but in a couple of months, I think we will be."
When Cuomo brought up the possibility of insurrection or revolution, Bannon rejected that, saying, "We're huge believers in democracy."
"We're in the middle of a 1932-type realignment if we can continue on and continue to have populist nationalist policies."
Bannon also hammered federal judges for their blocking of Trump policies, especially the deportation of criminal illegal aliens, as he pushed for their impeachment.
"More of these radical, neo-Marxist judges that are working in coordination ought to be impeached."
He accused U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who is working to stop deportations, of "stepping into President Trump's role" as commander-in-chief and "making command decisions that a military commander would make."
Cuomo wondered how patriotism aligns with attacking government institutions, and Bannon explained that reforming institutions is central to Trump's mandate.
"The American people understand that our institutions have to be either purged or they have to be reformed," Bannon said, "everything from the Justice Department to the FBI to the intelligence community to the Pentagon, across the board."

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent joined Maria Bartiromo on Tuesday morning on FBN's Mornings with Maria.
During his segment, Secretary Bessent announced that the two IRS whistleblowers were promoted to leadership roles in the Treasury Department.
Finally, people of integrity and courage are being rewarded for their actions.
IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley, and Joseph Ziegler, testified on the government prosecutors' preferential treatment of Hunter Biden. The two men stepped forward in 2023 and testified that Hunter Biden did not pay taxes on millions of dollars in international money schemes and was given a sweetheart deal from far-left investigators.
Shapley said Biden-appointed US Attorneys blocked charges against Hunter Biden. Gary Shapley said two Biden-appointed US Attorneys blocked charges against the president's son, Hunter Biden.
These two men later told Catherine Herridge in a 2024 interview that the IRS targets conservatives and helps to hide evidence for Democrats.
"We knew that the laptop was real. The DOJ knew that the laptop was real." The first whistleblower added, "The FBI knew the laptop was real." Whistleblower Two explained, "There were a lot of overt actions that we were not allowed to take because we had an upcoming election."
"When we were doing the interviews, the prosecutors specifically said that we were not allowed to ask about 'the big guy' because they knew it was Joe Biden."
The "Big Guy" refers to kickbacks going to Joe Biden from the family's illicit business dealings with foreign officials.
Herridge then asks the whistleblowers to reveal how they've been punished for revealing what they saw taking place at the IRS.
Their answers were stunning. After they went public about the Biden family's corruption and how top Biden officials were ignoring their wrongdoing, they continued to be targeted in their department.
On Tuesday, Secretary Scott Bessent made national news by announcing that the IRS whistleblowers were being moved to leadership positions.
