President Donald Trump's stunning debate performance, his focus on making America better for Americans and his brash, fist-pumping stance following last weekend's failed assassination attempt has changed minds for Americans.
Some Americans for sure. A lot of Americans? Maybe.
One woman posted her surprising recognition online:
She explained, "I've been a Democrat for nearly 50 years. Why am I crying over the Republican National Convention? – I think I'm crying because it's cognitive dissidence. Like what is going on, I've been told my whole life, Republicans are just all, you know, white and racist men and all of this."
She said she'd probably never watched an RNC event.
"It's upsetting, this world that we're living in right now. This world that we're living in right now is feels like upside down land."
She added, "I'm telling you, if you on the outside and you think MAGA is this horrible thing, I don't know what to tell you besides you have to see for yourself. …. It's beautiful, the coming together of America. America is saying no more, no longer, we're not gonna do this. We're not gonna divide ourselves."
A report at the Gateway Pundit said, “As the country continues to reel from the failed assassination attempt on President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, more and more Americans are waking up to the lies they have been told by Democrats that have been amplified by their willing accomplices in the media.”
So, the report said, "A Democrat voter took to social media to share how watching the speakers at the RNC, something she has never done before caused a seismic shift in her and the beauty of the love for America and the diversity she is seeing, and the reality that she has been lied to about the MAGA movement brought her to tears."
Pollsters confirm they're beginning to see exactly what she noted.
And a report at ZeroHedge said tech entrepreneur James Ingallinera said, “The dam broke for me and many others today. I live in SF, where it’s a social death sentence to voice support for Trump. Regardless, I will be voting for Trump…”
The report said trending on Google are searches for "MAGA hat, "Trump shirt" and more.
Even "Trump yard sign" and "donate to Trump."
Other social media comments, "I'd like to put a Trump sign in my yard but I'm too scared to be harassed or threatened. This is where we are at as a nation and it's disgusting."
"Trump yard sign goes into my yard on Monday.
The report noted, "The takeaway here is that either a whole bunch of Trump supporters loaded up on new MAGA gear or closet Trump supporters are coming out of the shadows to represent the former president."

The U.S. Secret Service is the agency assigned to protect government officials, specifically the president, vice president, and others.
The operatives also investigate some crimes, such as certain financial malfeasances, but it is known for its agents who protect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris – and GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.
It took only a fraction of a second on Saturday for that assignment to blow up in their faces, as millions of Americans watched as a sniper tried to shoot Trump, and injured him, during a campaign rally.
That near-catastrophic failure is going to reverberate for that government team now for a long time.
Was it the “diversity” demands imposed by leftists in the Secret Service bureaucracy that somehow failed Trump?
Was it a leftist ideology that diverted agents from Trump's detail to another, for Jill Biden?
Was it a failure to communicate and coordinate with local police, who often assist the Secret Service's security efforts?
Was it the fault of a leftist, and threatening, agenda to deprive Trump, deliberately, of protection.
And critically, what changes will be made so that another situation does not develop, and turn deadly?

Former Secret Service officer Dan Bongino took virtually no time at all to blast the agency for failing.
He said it was Donald Trump who actually saved Donald Trump's life, and demanded the Secret Service chief leave.
Trump, himself, said it was God who saved his life.
He said, "Donald Trump knew to duck. Most people would. He saved his own life. That's just a fact."
Online, columnist Christopher Rufo said the failure traces back to the leftist ideologies being pursued these days.
He explained, "Amid all the chaos weaves the thread of another story, one that reveals a mounting problem in our political life. A surprising number of the Secret Service agents protecting the former president were women. And, according to video recordings of the scene, many did not acquit themselves favorably."
He said: "Scene one: after President Trump ducks, a group of agents leaps to him and protects him with their bodies. A female agent who rushes to the stage acts bravely, without a doubt, but the point of the 'huddle' is to protect the president. The agent was much shorter than President Trump, leaving his head and neck exposed after he stood up."
Then, he added, "Scene two: as Trump enters the escape vehicle, a female Secret Service agent fumbles her gun and cannot find her holster; another female agent appears confused and, in the moment of crisis, decides to use both of her hands to put on her sunglasses; a third looks frightened and uncertain."
The question Rufo raised: "Why so many female agents? The answer, unfortunately, is the same as in many other institutions: DEI. The Secret Service has highlighted 'diversity' as a key priority and its director, Kimberly Cheatle, hired by President Biden in 2022, has pledged to increase dramatically the number of women in the ranks."
So now the official policy of the Secret Service is to hire, and promote "woman, LGBT, Native Americans, and other identity groups" as a higher priority than the absolute brute strength needed to protect a president or candidate.
It was Cheatle herself to committed to the social ideology as a priority over safety.
Rufo said, "To say it plainly: there is no need for women in a president's security detail. The Secret Service is an elite institution that can funnel down a large number of candidates to select the few who will protect the president. The best candidates—the strongest and fastest, the best marksmen—will be men. That's just reality."

At PJMedia was a report that the foulup was because of the administration of the agency.
"According to Susan Crabtree of Real Clear Politics, sources within the Secret Service say that resources were diverted from the Trump rally… for Jill Biden. 'Secret Services resources were diverted to Jill Biden's event and away from Trump's because they followed agency protocol applying to Trump as a former president, according to two sources within the Secret Service community,' Crabtree reports in a post on X," the report said.
She said, "Trump is not just a former president — he is the first in modern history to have run for president again — and he has been the focus of several prosecutions and controversies (understatement intentional). Who made the decision to divert the resources to Jill Biden's event?"
That report also charged that Trump's usual protective detail had been working seven days a week, so many agents assigned to the Saturday event were "temporary replacements."
A report at the Post Millennial said the failure was because of a lack of communication between the agency and local police, who often help with event security.
The report said, "After the assassination attempt on Donald Trump over the weekend, the US Secret Service (USSS) placed blame on local law enforcement for failing to secure the rooftop where gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to assassinate the presumptive GOP candidate. According to the New York Times, USSS spokesman Anthony Gugliemi told the outlet that the building, since it was outside the perimeter of the event, was supposed to be covered by local police, not the federal agency, during the rally. There had been four counter sniper teams covering the rally on Saturday, two of them were from USSS and two were from local police officials. Lt. Col. George Bivens of the Pennsylvania State Police told reporters, however, that 'Secret Service always has the lead on securing something like this.'"
Reports have revealed that Secret Service and local police apparently had been told members of the audience had seen a man with a gun on a roof, but neither investigated in time.
And it is members of Congress who officially have insisted the Trump be deprived of any Secret Service protection should certain convictions in the Democrats' lawfare against Trump be successful.

Local police reportedly encountered Donald Trump's would-be assassin Thomas Crooks just moments before he opened fire on the former president Saturday, but failed to stop the shooter despite the clear threat.
The New York Post reports: “After rallygoers spotted Crooks on the roof of a manufacturing plant just 130 yards from the stage where Trump was speaking just after 6 p.m. Tuesday, police were notified and one officer climbed a ladder to investigate, law enforcement officials said on the condition of anonymity.
"There the officer encountered Crooks, who pointed his AR-style rifle at them.
"The officer then backed down the ladder, and Crooks immediately took aim and loosed eight shots at the former president – grazing him in the ear, killing one bystander in the rally crowd, and gravely wounding two others.
"After that volley of shots, Secret Service snipers shot Crooks dead."
Meanwhile, another witness to the mayhem has been interviewed on camera, saying he saw the shooter "move from roof to roof" before shots were fired.
"I was up at the fence line, saw the guy [the attempted assassin] move from roof to roof. [I] told an officer he was on the roof," the man explained.
"I heard that there was somebody that could see the person, so I went back to where they were standing, saw the person, went back and told the officer again that if he goes back to that particular spot he can see the person, figuring that he would go and radio. An when I turned around to go back to where I was is when the gunshots started and then it was just chaos."
Earlier, another rally attendee told BBC News he tried to alert authorities to the gunman, to no avail.
"We're pointing at the guy crawling up the roof," the man explained.
"He had a rifle, we could clearly see him with a rifle absolutely. We're pointing at him. The police are down there running around on the ground. We're like. Hey man, there's a guy on the roof with a rifle. And the police were like, Huh, what? Like they didn't know what was going on. …
"I'm thinking to myself why is Trump still speaking? Why have they not pulled him off the stage?"
The witness added he was "100%" certain the shots fired came from the gunman to whom he was trying to alert authorities.

The U.S. Secret Service rushed President Donald Trump off stage after gunfire erupted at a political rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Saturday.
"Someone just tried to ASSASSINATE President Trump," said U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga.
"The Democrats and the media are to blame for every drop of blood spilled today. For years and years, they've demonized him and his supporters.
The U.S. Secret Service, whose prime duty is to protect American presidents, said "the former president is safe."
"At approximately 6:15 p.m., a suspected shooter fired multiple shots toward the stage from an elevated position outside the rally venue. U.S. Secret Service personnel neutralized the shooter, who is now deceased. U.S. Secret Service personnel quickly responded with protective measures and the former president is safe and being evaluated. One spectator was killed, two spectators were critically injured. This incident is currently under investigation and the Secret Service has formally notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation."
Trump himself posted a statement on his Truth Social page at 8:42 p.m., saying: "I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania.
"Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country.
"Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!"
Steven Cheung, a Trump spokesman said the former president "is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility."
The person believed to be the shooter is dead. One spectator at the rally has been killed, and a second is in serious condition, according to the Butler County district attorney.
NBC News reported: “Trump was about six minutes into his speech when he reached for the side of his face as popping sounds rang out over the rally. He then crouched down as Secret Service agents rushed the stage and surrounded him. He was quickly escorted into a vehicle, walking off the stage with agents on all sides.
"Trump pumped his fists in the air as he was escorted off of the stage. The crowd cheered as the former president raised his arms.
"Reporters on the scene saw smoke and heard what they initially thought were fireworks before everyone ducked and law enforcement encircled Trump."
At a briefing Saturday evening from Maryland, Joe Biden was asked if he thought this was an assassination attempt on Trump. He responded: "I have an opinion but I don't have any facts."
Biden issued a statement earlier online, indicating:
"I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania.
"I'm grateful to hear that he's safe and doing well. I'm praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information.
Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There's no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it."
"I am not shocked by this," former FBI agent Nicole Parker said on Fox News.
"Trump Derangement Syndrome is real. … People will do anything they have to to take him out."
One woman at the scene told Fox News: "God gets all the glory that Trump was protected."
Just five days ago, Joe Biden stated in a conference call to major donors"it's time to put Trump in a bull's-eye."
"I'm abstolutely certain I'm the best person to be able to do that. So, we're done talking about the debate. It's time to put Trump in a bull's-eye."
Former President Barack Obama reacted to the incident, saying: “There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics. Michelle and I are wishing him a quick recovery.”
Mark Stone, a U.S. correspondent for Sky News, said of the incident, “You can hear as he begins the speech a few shots.
"He then appears to put his hand up towards his ear and then gets down on the ground. It will be standard procedure for someone who's been president, a former president, someone of this stature. They will have been told, there will be a procedure of what to do if this sort of thing happens.
"From what I can gather from looking at the footage, the shots seem to have come from the left-hand side as you look at him, because people are looking over to that side."
"This is an extraordinary moment. It is many, many years since an assassination attempt, if this is what it turns out to be, on a president.
"Ronald Reagan – there was an assassination attempt on him in the 80s – in Washington, D.C., in the Hilton Hotel. This is developing and it is incredibly serious."
Elon Musk took to X to say: "I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery."

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whose father was assassinated during the 1968 race for the White House, said: “Now is the time for every American who loves our country to step back from the division, renounce all violence, and unite in prayer for President Trump and his family.”

First there was Joe Biden's introduction at a NATO news conference of Ukraine President "Putin."
Then came his reference to Vice President "Trump."
With those two statements, any Democrats' hopes of reassuring the American voting public of Biden's complete mental control and competence, in doubt since his disastrous presidential debate with Prsesident Donald Trump two weeks ago, exploded in their faces.
His Thursday appearance was panned as “disaster” on social media, according to Fox News.
"It is inexplicable the people advising this man continue to think that somehow he's not going to humiliate himself and this country. Why do they continue to allow this to happen?" said Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce.
Biden further trailed off while answering a news conference question and announced to the room he had a "list" of reporters on which to call.
"This press conference is a disaster. Joe Biden is not answering the questions," Fox News contributor Leo Terrell confirmed.
Biden, of course, already has enough Democrat delegates committed to him to be the 2024 candidate for his party.
Trump, expected to formally be named the GOP candidate next week, responded, "Crooked Joe begins his 'Big Boy' Press Conference with, 'I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president, though I think she was not qualified to be president.' Great job, Joe!"
Biden has told party members asking him to step down he will not.
"I am running and going to win again," he claimed.

The Heritage Foundation has documented more than 1,500 proven cases of voter fraud in recent elections. Several public interest organizations have programs set up to sue states where officials refuse to remove dead voters from rolls. Multiple lawsuits have alleged, with evidence, that the number of illegal alien votes actually could have changed the outcome of an election.
Many states hand out voter registration forms to illegal aliens as they obtain a variety of other benefits for which they are qualified.
So why would Democrats coalesce against a campaign to make sure that only U.S. citizens are voting in U.S. elections, a plan pushed forward by the SAVE Act, recently approved in the U.S. House despite nearly every Democrat opposing it?
"They want to turn illegal aliens into voters," charged House Speaker Mike Johnson in a recent statement:
That actually would align with Joe Biden's immediate orders when he took office to trash literally all of President Donald Trump's border security plans and open the barrier for millions of illegal aliens to enter the U.S.
Millions have. Enough in numbers should they all vote to turn an election.
It is illegal for non-U.S. citizens to vote in federal elections, but the prosecution level, despite the cases uncovered by Heritage, remains low.
Newsweek explains the SAVE Act, for Safeguard American Voter Eligibility, simply would require those registering to vote to provide evidence of U.S. citizenship.
The measure was adopted 221-198 by the House, with the support of only five Democrats and the opposition of nearly 200.
"Why are Democrats so adamantly against ensuring only American citizens vote in our elections?" Johnson said.
The plan also would have states set up programs to "identify individuals who are not U.S. citizens" and remove them from voter lists.
The problem, Johnson explained, is that there now is "no mechanism to ensure only those registering or voting are citizens."
Democrats claim that state requirements for voter registration, such as signing an affidavit of eligibility, are more than adequate to address the issue, but Republicans argue that migrants, given driver's licenses and other government documentation, also are automatically handed voter registration forms and there is no significant barrier for them to fill it out.
Leftists have claimed that illegal voting in American elections is very rare. That's a talking point that the White House has adopted.
But a spokesman for Johnson cited a 2014 study that estimated 6.4% of noncitizens voted in the 2008 general election, and 2.2% in the mid-term 2010 election.
Finding the results differ from their talking points, Democrats claim that the study was flawed, but it found that even that level of fraud could have changed the outcome of elections.
A spokesman for Johnson's office said even if voting by illegal aliens is rare, "that is not a reason to forego policymaking that would tighten enforcement against noncitizen voting."
The bill indeed has a small chance of becoming law as the Democrats are in the majority in the Senate. Further, Joe Biden has pledged himself to leaving unblocked so far as possible the pathways through which illegals might vote.
The crisis also has spilled over into a fight over the U.S. Census, where a legislative proposal would provide separate counts for citizens and non-citizens, and apportion congressional seats based only on the citizens count.
Just days ago, the New York Post issued a report that state offices in at least 46 states now are giving voter registration forms to illegals – without any proof of citizenship.
The report said, "Every state but North Dakota, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Wyoming gives applicants for either welfare benefits, driver’s licenses, or in some cases, mail-in ballots federal voter registration forms without demanding proof of citizenship."
The report noted that while it's against the law to falsely claim citizenship, "there is currently no requirement on federal voting forms to provide proof of U.S. citizenship."
Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, explained the opposition, "While Biden and radical progressive Democrats give ISIS and criminals an app to schedule their illegal entry, Republicans must fight any chance of illegal voter registration until we can mass deport.
"As President Biden has welcomed millions of illegal aliens through our borders, including sophisticated criminal syndicates and foreign adversaries, it is incumbent upon Congress to implement greater enforcement measures that secure the voter registration process and ensure only American citizens decide the outcome of American elections," Johnson said.
Ryan Walker, of Heritage Action, pointed out, "It is undeniable that the current structure makes it possible for illegal immigrants and non-citizens to vote — and the American people have no way of knowing how widespread the problem may be."
That report noted that federal prosecutions and state investigations and audits in recent years have confirmed "thousands of non-citizens are being registered."
Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, said, "Preventing non-citizens and illegal aliens from registering and voting in American elections should be a 100% issue in Congress. Unfortunately, Democrats have taken the stance that it never happens — which is false — so we shouldn’t give states the tools to ensure it doesn’t happen — which is absurd."
While illegal votes may or may not have been an influence in the 2020 presidential election, two other undue influences played significant roles. One was the $400 million plus Mark Zuckerberg handed over to elections officials who often used it to recruit voters in Democrat districts.
The other was interference by the CIA and FBI. The CIA knew that a statement prepared by ex-intelligence officials claiming the Biden family scandals documented in Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop was Russian disinformation was a lie but didn't stop it. The FBI told publications to suppress the truthful information.

Under President Donald Trump's tenure, there were howls of outrage from Democrats and their allies in the media that his administration was keeping illegal alien children in "cages" while their cases were processed.
Those reports almost uniformly failed to point out that the cages were built while Barack Obama was in the White House. Michelle Obama even went public in blaming Trump for what developed under her husband's management, complaining, "They watch in horror as children are torn from their families and thrown into cages."
A fact-checker, in fact, pointed out, "What she did not say is that the very same 'cages' were built and used in her husband's administration."
When the Biden administration resumed "holding migrant children in cages," the media went silent again.
But whistleblowers now are revealing the catastrophe that has developed for migrant children is much, much worse than "cages" with Biden in the Oval Office. Under his open borders policies, some 85,000 children have gone missing.
A report at the Daily Wire revealed whistleblowers told members of Congress that the Department of Human Services has lost "at least 85,000 children who crossed the border illegal as 'unaccompanied minors' after placing them with 'sponsors.'"
Those children may have been trafficked for forced labor or even prostitution, the U.S. Senate panel was told.
The children were handed over to "people who clearly were not their relatives and when there was evidence of abuse and trafficking" under Biden, the report said.
One whistleblower said when supervisors were alerted to "sadistic abuse" and evidence that the adults taking children were not relatives, "the Biden administration’s DHS Office of Refugee Resettlement took her off the job and retaliated against her."
Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, blamed Biden for shoveling children out to homes of "poorly-vetted" volunteers to avoid putting them in "cages" as he had characterized President Trump's efforts.
The reality of Biden's efforts, however, meant that as many as 500,000 children were turned over to adults who sometimes were strangers, background checks were eased, and the single oversight effort was a telephone call to the children 30 days later – at a time which many simply had gone missing, the report said.
Republican senators held the hearing unofficially, as Democrats, in the Senate majority, refused to participate.
Tara Lee Rodas, with a 20-year career in government, volunteered to help with the incoming flood, and she reported Carmen, a Guatemalan girl of 16, "was sent by the Biden administration to live with someone who claimed to be her brother. But pictures on social media showed him touching her sexually; 'it was clear her sponsor was not her brother,' she said. Soon, Carmen was advertised on the sponsor’s social media with her shirt unbuttoned, looking drugged up. Her 'sponsor' also posted child pornography to social media," the report said.
Rodas said she now wonders if Carmen is safe.
A report at PJMedia said Republican Sens. Grassley, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and John Cornyn of Texas held the hearing.
The report noted other children were turned over to live with "known gang members."
In fact, the federal bureaucracy turned a child over to a known gang member even knowing there wasn't a relationship and about the gang member's affiliation, one whistleblower charged.
The results of Biden's programs, the whistleblower charged, were "a government-funded child sex trafficking scheme."

A key expert in Parkinson's disease has visited the White House 10 times just over the last two years, according to a report Monday from Washington Examiner.
Joe Biden's health, both physical and mental, of course, is a key topic right now following his episodes of failed memory, inability to complete a word or a sentence and more. His recent catastrophic inability even to speak coherently during a presidential debate brought the issue to the headlines.
At 81 years old, 82 in just a few months, the possibility of a progressive affliction such as dementia certainly is a possibility. But there also are symptoms he's exhibited that are linked to Parkinson's.
Those include trembling, often starting in the hands, stiffness, slowness of movement, poor balance and coordination and speech difficulties.
The report said Biden's own physician "met with a top Washington, D.C., neurologist who specializes in Parkinson's…"
White House visitor logs show Dr. Kevin Cannard, of the Walter Reed Medical Center, met with Biden's doctor, Kevin O'Connor and others at the White House last January. And Cannard's name shows up on visitor logs 10 times after Nov. 15, 2022.
"It's highly likely they were talking about Biden," explained Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas. "He should only be [regularly] treating the president and the first family."
Jackson was the White House physician for both President Donald Trump and earlier, Barack Obama.
He repeatedly has issued warnings about the declining state of Biden's mental health.
He said O'Connor and Jill Biden are leading a "coverup" of Biden's problems.
The report noted Cannard late last year released a paper in the Parkinsonism & Related Disorders journal that focuses on the early stages of the affliction.
The White House explained a "wide variety of specialists" visit the White House for the "thousands" of military members who work on the grounds.
Biden repeatedly has refused to take any sort of cognitive test that would assess his mental capacities.
His aides have confirmed his time frame for being involved during the day is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., after which he's more like to have "miscues," the report said.
His deteriorating condition, evidenced by his actions in public, has prompted a long list of names to recommend he drop out of the 2024 presidential race, but he has refused.

As Democrats continue to panic over who will be their 2024 presidential nominee due to Joe Biden's poor cognitive health, a parody video titled "Walk Like a Joe Biden," is resurfacing and making the rounds online.
The song, originally debuting last year on "Louder With Crowder," is a spoof of the smash 1980s pop hit "Walk Like an Egyptian" by the Bangles, who do not appear in the recent lampoon, despite prominent look-alikes.
The parody lyrics state:

After a disastrous presidential debate, President Joe Biden is back at it, this time on a Pennsylvania radio show, ranting about how he is proud to be the "first black woman" to serve a black president, before stating he was the first president to get elected statewide in Delaware.
Co-owner of Trending Politics Collin Rugg, shared part of the audio of the Biden interview, which shows Biden’s steady cognitive decline.
Of course, the response from social media users on X was swift and brutal.
This isn’t the first time Biden has gone on rants that were not well understood, after he famously told The Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God during the 2020 presidential campaign, that if a black person doesn't vote for him, then they "ain't black."
However, graduating students from Howard University – a black research university located in Washington D.C. – called out Biden after he ranted during a speech.
"This is the worst graduation of my life, this is a campaign speech," one graduate is seen on camera saying, "We got this white man here Howard, what is going on?"
Another compilation posted on X in 2019 by 2022 Republican Arizona State House Nominee Christian Lamar shows some of the disparaging comments Biden has made about the Black community during his 50+ years in government.
