The company run by the daughter of a New York judge who has faced "conflict of interest" and bias charges for his handling of one of the Democrats' lawfare campaigns against President Donald Trump has been subpoenaed by Congress.

Congress, in fact, was forced into the subpoena because the company refused to voluntarily provide any information.

The issue that's under investigation is Loren Merchan's company, called Authentic Campaigns, has worked directly with and for a multitude of Democrat interests in the 2024 election season. Including the opponents of Trump.

Merchan's father, Juan Merchan, was the judge for the New York claims about business recording violations within Trump's companies.

The charges would have been misdemeanors except the statute of limitations already had expired. So District Attorney Alvin Bragg claimed those actions were in pursuit of another unspecified crime so that made them felonies.

Merchan, the judge, disallowed much of the defense evidence and the result was the jury found Trump guilty on 34 counts, a decision that now is on appeal.

But U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is demanding information about "the political work" done by Loren Merchan, and in a letter to Authentic Campaigns chief Micheal Nellis said it could have been done the easy way had the company cooperated.

"The committee is left with no choice but to resort to compulsory process," Jordan wrote. "Popularly elected prosecutors, such as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, have engaged in an unprecedented abuse of authority by prosecuting a former President of the United States and current nominee for that office. Of relevance to the committee's oversight is the impartiality of Judge Juan Merchan, the presiding trial judge, due to his refusal to recuse himself from the case in light of his apparent conflicts of interest and biases."

U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, speaks at the Republican National Convention on Monday, Aug. 24, 2020

In fact, reports reveal that Loren Merchan was making money from Democrats off the decisions her father was making in the courtroom against Trump.

Jordan identified one of the problems that Congress may want to address with legislation: "One such conflict is Ms. Merchan's—daughter of Judge Merchan and President of Authentic Campaigns—work on behalf of President Trump's political adversaries and the possible financial benefit that Ms. Merchan and Authentic Campaigns received from the prosecution and conviction of President Trump."

According to a previous report from WND, Merchan the judge was obvious in provoking questions about his behavior.

His behavior was cited by legal expert and longtime commentator Alan Dershowitz after Merchan openly feuded with a witness, ordered the courtroom cleared, and essentially blew his stack during the proceedings.

report at Fox News said Dershowitz, a Harvard Law professor emeritus, "called out" Merchan for "outrageous" rulings against Trump.

He told "The Brian Kilmeade Show" host Brian Kilmeade that Merchan is a "tyrant" for threatening to strike the testimony of defense witness Bob Costello, who expressed disbelief at some of Merchan's anti-Trump rulings.

Dershowitz charged, "I've been in courthouses in every part of the world and in China, in Russia, in Ukraine, in Israel. I've been all over. I've never seen a spectacle like this. And that's why it should have been on television, so the American public could see how outrageous this judge is. And CNN just does his bidding. CNN lies, lies through their teeth about what happened in court yesterday between Judge Merchan and Bob Costello. Bob Costello testifies, Merchan rules against him at every point, keeps out his testimony, makes outrageous rulings that any first-year student taking evidence would know was wrong."

Dershowitz added, "And Bob Costello does what I did: He rolled his eyes. And I rolled my eyes, I said, I couldn't believe the judge was making these rulings. And the judge, thinking he's a tyrant, clears the courtroom, throws out everybody from the media. For some reason, they allowed me to stay, and I watched as the judge berated him. And the judge said something I have never seen in a courtroom in my history, 60 years. He threatened to strike the testimony of the main witness for the defendant because of punishment of the witness for staring at the judge. Can you imagine the violation of the Sixth Amendment? The Sixth Amendment allows any defendant to confront witnesses and to present evidence in his defense. Can you imagine if this judge had actually struck the testimony of Bob Costello? It would result in an automatic mistrial, new trial, and a verdict against the prosecution. The judge was bluffing. He ought to be disciplined for making that threat because the threat was an idle threat. He obviously didn't act on it. …":

Dershowitz pointed out that American law doesn't allow a judge to just throw out a witness's testimony to punish a defendant.

"And we didn't see it because television is not allowed in the courtroom. … They just won't allow the American public to watch this trial, and I don't blame them. If I were the judge, I would never want this trial to be on television because he's behaved so outrageously," he said.

report at the Daily Mail described Merchan's outburst as "unhinged."

In a column there, Dershowitz described, "The stench of deceit hung in the air as I sat in the front row of a Manhattan courtroom. Seated on the witness stand, no more than a few feet from me, I watched in disbelief as Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen told the jury one seeming lie after another."

"When asked by prosecutors on Monday whether he would financially benefit if Trump were convicted of falsifying business records to hide an alleged hush money payment to protect his 2016 presidential campaign, Cohen denied it. That is demonstrably false," he said.

"Cohen is shopping around a reality TV show to capitalize on his newfound fame. He has admitted to making more than $3 million on anti-Trump books and podcasts and sells merchandise portraying the former president behind bars. All of these enterprises would be undermined by a Trump acquittal."

Then, he added, "There is Cohen's confession that he stole tens of thousands of dollars from the Trump Organizations by deceitfully overcharging for his services."

He said during the trial, he has not seen "any evidence" that Trump committed a crime.

Fox revealed that Jordan cited public reports to suggest Loren Merchan was involved in the campaigns belonging to Biden and Harris.

"During Ms. Merchan's employment with the Harris campaign, Authentic Campaigns received over $7 million in compensation for its services. You also worked for then-presidential candidate Harris and it appears you continue to do so. Authentic Campaigns conducted work for the 2020 Biden-Harris campaign and, according to public records, was paid just over $2 million in a one-month period for its work," he wrote to the company.

Trump's lawyers asked Merchan, the judge, to send the case to another judge because of the evidence of his bias, and he refused.

Nellis subsequently claimed to be reviewing thoroughly the legal demand.

He said his company would refuse to be "bullied."

But Jordan charged, "Judge Merchan's conflicts of interest and biases in the case against President Trump, the Republican nominee in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, implicate serious federal interests. Congress has a specific and manifestly important interest in preventing politically motivated prosecutions of current and former presidents, especially in venues in which real or perceived biases exist. Among other things, if state or local prosecutors are able to engage in politically motivated prosecutions of Presidents of the United States (current or former) for personal acts, this could have a profound effect on how presidents choose to exercise their powers while in office."

Jordan wrote, "The records requested from Authentic Campaigns are relevant to the committee's oversight work. These documents will allow the committee to better understand and assess the apparent conflicts of interest and bias in the prosecution of a former president by a local elected prosecutor in a local tribunal before a clearly conflicted judge.

Let the great debate begin.

Former President Trump went public Tuesday with details about the terms of his upcoming debate with Kamala Harris, flaying the ABC network televising it.

"I have reached an agreement with the Radical Left Democrats for a Debate with Comrade Kamala Harris," Trump began on Truth Social.

"It will be Broadcast Live on ABC FAKE NEWS, by far the nastiest and most unfair newscaster in the business, on Tuesday, September 10th, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

"The Rules will be the same as the last CNN Debate, which seemed to work out well for everyone except, perhaps, Crooked Joe Biden. The Debate will be 'stand up,' and Candidates cannot bring notes, or 'cheat sheets.'

"We have also been given assurance by ABC that this will be a 'fair and equitable' Debate, and that neither side will be given the questions in advance (No Donna Brazile!).

"Harris would not agree to the FoxNews Debate on September 4th, but that date will be held open in case she changes her mind or, Flip Flops, as she has done on every single one of her long held and cherished policy beliefs.

"A possible third Debate, which would go to NBC FAKE NEWS, has not been agreed to by the Radical Left. GOD BLESS AMERICA!"

The fairness of ABC News has been in focus recently, especially after the network's Jonathan Karl claimed Sunday on "This Week" that Harris has moved away from the far-left policies she supported in 2020 while running for president.

Karl received serious pushback from U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., who blasted Harris' 2020 campaign promises such as "decriminalizing illegal immigration."

"Again, you would have thought watching the Democratic convention last week that the Democrats are not in office, that they're not in power, that they're campaigning against an incumbent Republican. When in reality, she's been part of the failures of the Biden-Harris Administration for four years, and she campaigned for president, in her own right, she did, in fact, promise things like decriminalizing illegal immigration –"

WATCH:

ABC's Karl claimed it was "a position she's clearly changed on and she said she has changed."

Cotton fired back: "No, no she has not. Jon, she has not said that. You pointed out to Senator [Bernie] Sanders repeatedly – things that her campaign has said. Anonymous aides speaking on background reporters have said, 'Well, she no longer believes these things.' OK, maybe she has changed her position on health insurance and confiscating your gun. If she has changed her position, she owes it to the American people to come out and say in her own words when she changed and why she changed."

A U.S. senator probing the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump is blasting the top two federal agencies investigating the July 13 incident in Butler, Pennsylvania.

"We're not getting squat … from the Secret Service or the FBI," Sen. Ron Johnson, who sits on the bipartisan Senate committee investigating the incident, told Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures" on the Fox News Channel.

"The Secret Service, you know, FBI are basically dragging their feet, they're stonewalling us. We've gotten some transcribed interviews, but the documents we request request are heavily redacted, they're delivered, you know, the day of the interview so we really can't use the documents to conduct the interviews effectively."

"We've requested all their 302s, their transcriptions of their interviews with hundreds of individuals. They're not turning those over as well. Maria, if you were, if you wanted to design an investigation to raise suspicions and drive conspiracy theories, this is exactly how you'd do that investigation. I mean, I was, it's just jaw-dropping that they released the body [of the shooter] for cremation before anybody had seen toxicology reports. It's driving suspicion and conspiracy theories."

Bartiromo said she also couldn't "understand why they would release the body before investigators had a chance to investigate that part of it as well," and asked Johnson: "What's the answer there there? Is there any accountability for that, to move so quickly? We've got more information on the shooting, on the attempted shooting of Taylor Swift's concert than we do here for a former president."

Johnson replied: "They are the law, they hold themselves above the law. They don't really think that they're responsible to be coming under scrutiny by Congress and the American public, and so this is how they behave. They're the only ones that are going to have access to this information until they decide what information to give us and when to give it to us. They're in total control."

Regarding this week's endorsement of Trump by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who suspended his Independent presidential campaign, Johnson noted it was "very important" for the Trump campaign.

"I think even more so it's very important and very good for America," he said.

"I've gotten to the to know Bobby Kennedy during the pandemic. Let me first say he's a very good person. He never sought to champion children's health. It was pretty well thrust on him by moms coming up to him with the science that he simply couldn't turn his back on, he couldn't ignore. So he became a champion for children's health," Johnson continued.

"And one of the things he's been pointing out, during his uncle's administration, chronic illness in children was at 6%. Now it's at 60%. It drives our massive health-care industry, the are also of dollars we spend on it, and it's been largely ignored, I would argue, because of the corruption, the capture by Big Pharma, Big Ag, of the federal health agencies and other agencies that are designed to regulate them. It's not working. It's a corrupt process.

"I think Bobby Kennedy would be the perfect person to get in there. He understands this, he's sued these companies. He understands how the corruption works, and I'd love to see him as the secretary of HHS, on a commission on chronic illness. There's so many ways President Trump can utilize him. And again, I know President Trump is concerned about chronic illness.

"There are plenty of differences between President Trump, myself and Bobby Kennedy, but this is the way you heal and unify a nation. You put those differences aside, and you do everything you can to focus on the areas of agreement, the big things, and chronic illness is a big thing that we need to act thing together."

Will illegal immigrants and noncitizens be voting in and swaying the upcoming 2024 presidential election?

A top U.S. senator is sounding the alarm about the strong possibility or even likelihood.

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, a member of the Senate Budget and Judiciary Committee appeared Sunday on the Fox News Channel and said: "We've seen it in various jurisdictions around the country. There are a handful of states including, I believe, Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama who have done some investigating into their own voter registration files, and they've found a lot of noncitizens including a whole lot of illegal immigrants registered to vote."

Lee told Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures" that these states, "to their great credit, they're doing their best to cull through those and to remove those who they believe to be illegal immigrants. And I hope other states will do the same."

He pushed for passage of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, or SAVE Act, which requires individuals to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship in order to register to vote in federal elections.

Specifically, the bill prohibits states from accepting and processing an application to register to vote in a federal election unless the applicant presents documentary proof of U.S. citizenship.

The measure also indicates:

Each state must take affirmative steps on an ongoing basis to ensure that only U.S. citizens are registered to vote, which shall include establishing a program to identify individuals who are not U.S. citizens using information supplied by specified sources.

Additionally, the bill requires states to remove noncitizens from their official lists of eligible voters.

The bill allows for a private right of action against an election official who registers an applicant to vote in a federal election who fails to present documentary proof of U.S. citizenship.

The bill establishes criminal penalties for certain offenses, including registering an applicant to vote in a federal election who fails to present documentary proof of U.S. citizenship.

Lee explained: "It must come up for a vote in the House and in the Senate. And the way to do that is for us to the attach it to the next spending bill, likely a continuing resolution that'll come up in September.

"Look, the American people agree overwhelmingly, Maria, like by a margin of 3 out of 4 that, that first of all, only U.S. citizens ought to vote in federal elections and, secondly, when you register to vote in a federal election, you ought to have to be able to prove who you are, that you're a U.S. citizen, just as you have to do when you fill out an I-9 in America, you've got to provide proof of citizenship.

"So with the SAVE Act, what we're saying is we should require nothing less to vote in federal elections than you have to establish when you start a new job. When you attach that to a spending bill, and that's the best way to move that through to make sure that the 10 million plus illegal immigrants who have come in in the last three and a half years and the estimated roughly 30 million noncitizens total in the United States aren't voting in this November's election."

On the same broadcast, Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of Donald Trump and co-chair of the Republican National Committee, sounded her own warning to anyone engaged in voter fraud:

"Whether you're talking about ensuring illegals are cleaned off the voter rolls, they can't register to vote in certain states or generally sending out the message, Maria, that if you're a person who's attempting to cheat in our elections or an illegal citizen attempting to illegally vote in our elections, we will find you, track you down and prosecute you to the full extent of the law. We're watching everything, we're filing lawsuits when necessary, and we're making sure we have people everywhere, votes are being cast and counted to have eyes on everything."

Lara Trump said the 2020 election "certainly taught us a lesson, and that is that we have to pay attention."

"It is integral to who we are as a country to have faith in our electoral process. And so we have gone above and beyond anything that you've ever seen from the RNC this election cycle, obviously. We have our election integrity operation underway," she continued.

"We've already recruited 165,000 volunteers to be poll watchers, poll workers, working the tabulation centers. We have pledged 500 lawyers on the ground in every battleground state. And, in addition to that, we have had to go, unfortunately, but we have had to go state by state and make sure they're cleaning up their voter rolls, making sure there are no illegals on their voter rolls.

"We had to file a lawsuit last week in the state of North Carolina to do that. You just referenced the Supreme Court decision in the state of Arizona. This is a huge win. Look, we know … when a federal election is underway, you can only have American citizens voting in that election. Should go without saying, but there are some states that try to push back on that.

"We took it to the Supreme Court because Democrats in the state of Arizona were attempting to let people register to vote without ID. We said you need to be able to to determine whether or not these are U.S. citizens before they register to to vote. The Supreme Court agreed with that, and the great news is it sets precedent across the country so other states can take this and utilize it as well.

"You look at a state like Michigan, a very important state, a state Donald Trump, of course, won in 2016. We are fighting tooth and nail to make sure Donald Trump wins in Michigan, and we believe that if it's a free, fair and transparent election, he will.

"I'll give you an example of the way the Democrats like to operate to try and swing an election. We had 700 trained poll workers from the Republican side apply in Wayne County to be poll workers. Do you know how many of those they actually took? Fifty. Guess how many Democrat poll workers they took: 2,300. So we are filing a lawsuit in Detroit to make sure that we have parity between Republicans and Democrats."

Bartiromo responded: "Unbelievable. I'll tell you, it's hard to keep up with all of these political dirty tricks."

The U.S. Department of Justice announced in a news release Thursday there had been an arrest made of a New York man who was allegedly selling information to the People's Republic of China's communist government.

A naturalized citizen of the U.S. residing in Queens, Yuanjun Tang was charged by criminal complaint with acting and conspiring to act in the U.S. as an unregistered foreign agent of China, and making false statements to the FBI.

The DOJ stated court documents showed Tang was a former Chinese citizen, but was imprisoned by the Chinese Communist Party for opposing the one-party system in China. Tang defected to Taiwan in 2002, and was granted political asylum in the U.S.

After settling into New York, Tang was an active participant in his community, often attending demonstrations against the CCP. However, sometime between 2018 and 2023, Tang allegedly acted as an agent for China's Ministry of State Security – which is responsible for China's foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, espionage, and political security functions.

Tang is accused of using an encrypted email account, chats, text messages, and audio and video calls to regularly interact with the Chinese ministry, travelling at least three times to China to meet with intelligence agents. Tang is accused of reporting to the ministry about Chinese individuals living in the U.S. who had opposing views to China's political stance.

Using his position, he infiltrated Chinese dissident group chats on encrypted messaging applications, while law enforcement recovered instructions from the ministry, prosecutors allege. Numerous electronic devices belonging to Tang also reportedly included videos, documents, and photographs that he had collected to send to the ministry.

The news release further stated Tang had made false statements to the FBI, claiming he was unable to access email accounts he used to communicate with Chinese officials. He is charged with a single count of conspiring to work as a foreign agent without notifying the attorney general, and he could face up to five years in prison. Tang faces another possible 10-year sentence for acting as an agent, and another five years for making false statements.

A telecommunications and information technology worker for Verizon was arrested in late July, and was charged with working for the CCP as an agent – and instructed to gather information on Chinese dissidents and the Falun Gong religious movement. He faces a possible sentence of 15 years in prison.

President Donald Trump, the GOP's nominee for the White House this year, often has been critical, and sometimes harshly critical, of Barack Obama, the Democrat who forcibly shoved American to the left probably more than any other president up to his tenure.

But Trump surprised many this week with his comments.

"I think he's a nice gentleman, but he was very weak on trade…' Trump said of Obama on a CNN interview. "I happen to like him. I respect him and I respect his wife."

That opinion, however, appears to have disappeared after Obama and his wife, Michelle, both used their Democrat National Convention podium time to lash out at Trump, going so low as to be making offensive suggestions even about his manhood.

The Daily Mail reported, "Donald Trump said Wednesday he was giving up being nice to the Obamas, after they used their speeches at the Democratic convention to mock his record, his crowd sizes and even his manhood."

Trump described Michelle Obama as "nasty" and pointed out they had been calling for more policy, less poison, in their exchanges – but then they tried to bomb Trump.

"I'm trying to be nice to these people," he told DailyMail.com, at a campaign appearance in North Carolina. "They were lousy presidents, and you know this one coming. It's the worst."

The "one coming" reference is to Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democrat nominee for president. "She makes Obama look like … I mean, forget it … She's a radical Marxist person that ruined everything in her path," Trump said.

The report said, "Trump and Obama have long had a prickly relationship, with the 44th president still furious about the way 45th president questioned his nationality with the 'birther' claim that Obama was not born in the U.S. Michelle Obama has become a particular target for some Trump supporters, who share memes suggesting she is transgender."

Trump said he didn't know who would make that claim, and, "I certainly wouldn't say that."

But she is, he confirmed, "very nasty to me."

"I mean, look, they say, Oh, don't be personal. Talk about policy. I want to talk about policy…. But people say, don't get personal, but then they get personal."

In fact, the Obamas were on stage at the DNC in what looked like a planned attack on Trump. There has been criticism of the convention as its speakers have been mentioning Trump hundreds of times, without addressing policy ideas they want at all.

Michelle Obama brought racism into the conversation by wondering who would tell Trump that the job he was seeking might be one of those "black jobs."

Barack Obama, the Mail reported, complained about "the childish nicknames, the crazy conspiracy theories, this weird obsession with crowd sizes."

At that, the report said, Obama made "a hand gesture as if to suggest he was mocking Trump's manhood."

Only weeks ago, President Donald Trump, the GOP nominee for the White House year, survived an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, when he turned his head to look at a graphic.

A bullet intended for his head grazed his ear. That attacker ended up dead at the hands of police

Now there's been another threat and this time authorities are out looking for the suspect who has been identified but not yet found.

Fox News reports that Ronald Lee Syvrud, 66, is being sought after authorities said he threatened Trump ahead of a rally.

The Cochise County sheriff's office said the suspect has outstanding warrants from the state of Wisconsin for DUI and failure to appear for DUI and from Graham County, Arizona, for hit-and-run and felony failure to register as a sex offender.

The report said Syvrud is listed on a sex offender registry in Wisconsin for "second-degree sexual assault of a child."

Fox said it reviewed court records that revealed his most recent arrest came in June when he was accused of assault, but that later was dropped.

The sheriff's office said officers are hunting Syvrud "as an investigative lead for threats to kill a presidential candidate" but did not release more details.

Fox said it later confirmed the candidate was Trump.

Authorities said there is no link to the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.

Fox further reported that Trump had not been informed of the threat and manhunt, as he explained while he was aware there was danger for him to appear, "I have a job to do."

Questioned about the circumstances, Trump said, "I haven't heard about that. They probably want to keep it from me."

The report noted he joked, "Thank you for telling me. Let's get out of here, right now!"

Trump said the threats come because "I want to do things that are very bad for the bad guys."

The Secret Service said it is tracking the Arizona search.

According to the Washington Examiner, "Trump's security has been treated as even more of a critical issue since the July 13 assassination attempt against his life, with a bullet grazing his ear. One man died, and two others were wounded at the rally."

Arizona is an important swing state in this November's presidential election.

There's a rift opening between U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the California Democrat who multiple times was House speaker and orchestrated her party's two failed impeach-and-remove schemes against President Trump, and Kamala Harris, the party's presumptive nominee for president.

According to a report from Fox News, Pelosi is insisting that she wanted to "open" a "process" that would result in a replacement for the mentally declining Joe Biden.

And then Harris "took advantage."

"Many of us who were concerned about the election wanted to have an open process. It was an open process, anyone could have gotten in," Pelosi told the Wall Street Journal.

The party more or less pushed Biden under the bus in July, after his catastrophically bad debate performance against President Donald Trump in June. And he'd exhibited a long list of mental failings during his public appearances. He'd forget names and countries, whisper, then shout, and often mix up people, including his family members.

Technically, he withdrew from the race and endorsed Harris.

"Pelosi has denied playing any role in forcing Biden to drop out, but she's acknowledged in interviews that she worried about Biden's campaign and was unimpressed with his political operation," the report explained.

Pelosi said she'd heard from House Democrats that their campaigns were being hurt by Biden's presence on the ticket, and she relayed those worries to the White House.

Harris snapped up the opportunity, despite having no votes at all cast for her in any primary.

The report suggested her presence "seemingly reinvigorated the party," but polling already shows that the routine bump in popularity the party enjoyed because of her launch already is fading quickly.

"[Harris] had the endorsement of the president, and she, politically astutely, took advantage of it and shut down — not shut down, but won the nomination. But anybody else could have gotten in," Pelosi claimed.

Pelosi also credited Biden with deciding "how we would proceed," crediting him with "selflessness."

Regarding her efforts to change the name at the top of the party's 2024 ballot, she previously explained she did what she had to do.

"He decided for the country. My concern was not about the president, it was about his campaign. As he has seen with the exuberance, the excitement that has come forth in our country," she said.

America in late 2024 has become a surreal, ever-unfolding drama of shocks, horrors and wonders.

On one hand, there's the widespread conviction that Almighty God Himself reached down and dramatically saved Donald Trump from an assassin's bullet that came within a fraction of an inch of blowing the former president's brains out.

On the other hand, America's citizens, having endured almost four years of Biden-Harris devastation of their beloved country's economy, culture, safety, freedom and sanity, are now being forced to endure perhaps the most blatantly dishonest political charade in American history.

That would be the entire Democrat-media complex suddenly pretending that Vice President Kamala Harris – who just four years ago was so unpopular that she was forced to drop out of the presidential race without winning a single delegate – is actually a brilliant, experienced, strong, wise and inspirational leader, totally qualified to become the next U.S. president. Which also means leader of the free world during an exceedingly treacherous time when nuclear war looms ever closer.

Unfortunately – as virtually everyone, Republican and Democrat alike, knew until a few weeks ago when Joe Biden was unceremoniously dumped and the grand charade deifying Kamala Harris began – she is a shallow, pretentious, dishonest, arrogant, chameleon-like and gratingly unlikable human being.

She's also mean. In fact, virtually her entire White House staff – 92 percent – quit due to her abuse. When the Washington Post interviewed 18 people in Harris' orbit, they portrayed a toxic White House work environment, with staffers' descriptions of it ranging from "uncomfortable" to "soul-destroying."

This is who Harris is. Even back when she was California's attorney general, the New York Post reported the same arrogant cruelty: "'Bully' Kamala Harris 'berated staff,' left them in tears after berating them with 'F-bombs,' intern told never to make eye contact."

But now turn the page. In addition to her negative personal traits like being both nasty and dumb – and cackling like a maniac – much more importantly, Kamala Harris is also, as Elon Musk accurately put it, "quite literally a communist." Rated the most liberal member of the entire U.S. Senate in 2019, the far-left Harris explicitly insists not on equal opportunity, the quintessential American ideal, but on equal outcomes, the quintessential Marxist/communist ideal.

Oh, and she also lies continually and audaciously. Prime example: The "border czar" who has presided over the ongoing full-scale foreign invasion of America by millions of illegal aliens including myriad drug dealers, child-sex traffickers, mental patients, gang members, criminals and terrorists, now claims in a TV ad that not only has she strengthened the border, but that Donald Trump has left the border unprotected! This, of course, is too demented for even the most notoriously dishonest Democrat politicians to match. Such embarrassingly obvious gaslighting requires a level of arrogance combined with stupidity that few people possess, even in politics. Again, not just lying, but boldly proclaiming as truth the exact opposite of the reality that virtually everyone can plainly see.

Thus, good Americans are desperately, and prayerfully, looking to November's election as their one doorway to national survival, sanity and restoration. They hope and pray they can re-elect Donald Trump, under whose administration inflation was below 2%, America's economy was booming, gasoline was $2 a gallon, unemployment – especially black unemployment – was at record lows, international respect for America was at a peak, and the nation was, therefore, at peace.

But there's a problem.

However unspeakably bad everything has gotten during the administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, today's far-left Democratic Party is single-mindedly obsessed with retaining and expanding its power, no matter what. And that means Democrats, conspiring with the Deep State, the legacy news media, Big Tech and other corporate allies, will do literally anything and everything within their power to rig, corrupt, and thereby steal the 2024 election, just as they did in 2020.

Before moving past that last statement – about powerful media, corporate, financial and governmental players stealing the 2020 election – understand that this is not a "right-wing conspiracy theory." No less than Time magazine in February 2021 – just weeks after Joe Biden took office as president on Jan. 20 – featured a lengthy essay by progressive journalist Molly Ball ecstatically documenting the massive secret plot to swing the outcome of the November 2020 election to a Biden victory.

Here's an excerpt of "The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election," Time's exultant review of the vast "conspiracy" that allowed the 2020 election to be stolen from Donald Trump:

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes … the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. … Their work touched every aspect of the election.

They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. …

This is the inside story of the conspiracy to save the 2020 election, based on access to the group's inner workings, never-before-seen documents and interviews with dozens of those involved from across the political spectrum. It is the story of an unprecedented, creative and determined campaign whose success also reveals how close the nation came to disaster. … That's why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream – a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.

Wait … "How close the nation came to disaster"? Why exactly would a Trump victory have been a "disaster" for the nation?

And why are today's elites not only perfectly comfortable with rigging an election in every way possible to retain power (even bragging about it), but also secretly convinced they have a moral mandate to win – no matter what?

Racist, fascist, terrorist Nazis!

As everyone knows, since 2016 Democrats and the major news media have relentlessly portrayed Donald J. Trump as the virtual incarnation of evil. They claimed for years that he was essentially a traitor, that he had colluded with America's mortal enemies to win the presidential election, and that he's also a "racist," "white supremacist," "Islamophobe," "fascist," "Nazi" and admirer of Adolf Hitler.

Not coincidentally, the same people likewise defame Trump's tens of millions of supporters, 74 million of whom voted for him in 2020 – Republicans, conservatives, Christians and other regular, decent, law-abiding, traditional-values Americans – as evil. "Deplorables" and "irredeemable," Hillary Clinton called them. "Semi-fascists," Biden famously labeled Trump's supporters. "Domestic terrorists," Biden's Attorney General Merrick Garland branded parents who stood up at a school board meeting to protest the Marxist brainwashing of their children. "Racists" and "white supremacists," as virtually all Republicans are routinely referred to by the left.

Writing in the Washington Post, legendary columnist Charles Krauthammer once crystalized the whole issue this way: "To understand the workings of American politics, you have to understand this fundamental law: Conservatives think liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil."

And the ultimate strategy leftists have long employed for hammering home the supposed evils of conservatives has been to compare them to Nazis. Indeed, even shortly after the July 13 assassination attempt on Donald Trump, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez couldn't resist attacking Trump again as "a racist and a neo-Nazi."

So, what does endlessly slandering Trump and his supporters have to do with Democrats' multi-tiered strategy to rig the outcome of November's election, no matter what?

Everything.

Consider that in response to the real Adolf Hitler, assassination was the most moral response – indeed, there were 16 known plots to kill Hitler. So obviously, any less extreme but equally effective strategy – say, rigging an election to remove a genocidal monster from power – would also be moral and righteous.

No rules

Thus, Democrats and their leftist allies are attempting to defeat a successful former president with an impressive track record, but about whom they have lied continually for eight years, impeached twice, subjected to an unprecedented and scandalously illegal lawfare campaign intended to imprison him for the rest of his life, and who just weeks ago narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.

In truth, likening Donald Trump to Hitler has long been the Democrats' barely disguised bottom-line narrative. It constitutes their justification for lying and deceiving others as easily as normal people breathe. And it's the nuclear core of their election strategy – as it has been since 2016.

This explains why, according to the Democrat-media complex, it was far better for Americans to vote for the always-lying, epically corrupt and preternaturally conniving Hillary Clinton in 2016 than to vote for Donald Trump. And far better to vote for the always-lying, demented, head-of-a-crime-family Joe Biden in 2020 than to vote for Donald Trump. And far better, in 2024, to vote for the always-lying, uniquely unlikable, super-leftwing cackling lunatic Kamala Harris as the next U.S. president – instead of Donald Trump.

After all, anybody is better than the genocidal monster Adolf Hitler … or somebody the elites insinuate is just like him.

And therefore, anything goes. ANYTHING. No rules – exactly how the left likes things. As famed Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu put it, "War is deception." And anyone trying to get rid of Hitler is engaged in warfare.

So, then, the Trump-is-Hitler delusion can serve as the unspoken justification for the most insane and destructive policies imaginable – say, flooding America with millions of illegal aliens. In normal times, this would universally be regarded as a treasonous policy since it degrades, damages and largely destroys the host country. But then, what if those same illegal aliens were somehow enabled to vote in U.S. elections – and could be counted on to vote against Hitler?

That might just be OK, according to the left's logic.

'Nothing less than a miracle'

With all of this swirling madness, it's easy to lose hope. Don't. There's still real hope for America. All sane people must, of course, vote for Trump. No protest votes, no Libertarian votes, no RFK Jr. votes, no "I'm-a-Christian-and-not-involved-in-worldly-things-like-politics" excuses. They can also sign up others to vote and volunteer at their polling place and support organizations actively working to maximize election integrity and minimize fraud, like True the Vote and Turning Point USA and Protect the Vote.

And they can, and truly must, fervently pray. Indeed, remember God's shining promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Finally, consider what bestselling author and popular Christian broadcaster Eric Metaxas affirmed the day after the attempt on Donald Trump's life:

"I have said repeatedly for months that those who hate Trump would stop at nothing to make sure he doesn't get back in to the White House, including trying to assassinate him. I have also said God's hand is on him, and would protect him, if God forbid someone did try to do that. Last night we saw that happen. His survival was nothing less than a miracle. So be assured that God is not finished with this nation. But we need to pray. … We are in an existential crisis, and without God, this experiment in self-government will not continue. But it is God's will that it continue. So please pray."

A policy revision adopted recently by the U.S. Army could spell trouble for soldiers who believe in and follow the Holy Bible.

In June, the Army issued two new directives regarding the handling and reporting of "protest, extremist and criminal gang activities" by soldiers. Army directive 2024-07 on handling extremist activity, as well as the service's directive 2024-08 on reporting extremist activity, can both be found on the website of the Army Inspector General.

WorldNetDaily interviewed Dr. Charles "Chase" Spears, recently retired after a 20-year Army public affairs career specializing in ethical military communication strategy.

"Since day one of his tenure as secretary of Defense," Spears told WND, "Lloyd Austin claimed that there is a major issue with [Christian] extremism in the military." Spears added, "This is the same military that made [Austin] a four-star general."

But the Army's new rules beg the question: "Why now, when multiple reports have debunked Austin's claim?" Even if, Spears said, the Army's directives were implemented with the intention of clarifying what amounts to "extremism," a word he says is "open to wide interpretation in the current political climate," the new policy "makes it appear that if you disagree with [the views of Austin and the Biden administration], then you're an extremist."

Attorney R. Davis Younts agrees with Dr. Spears, telling WND that he likewise fears the ambiguity in the Army's new rules. According to the retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and former judge advocate general (JAG) officer, the directives encompass an "extremely broad range of activities."

Both Spears and Younts are concerned about how the new directives will be interpreted. For example, considering the 0recent Army portrayal of pro-life organizations as terrorist organizations, Younts said his concern has been heightened. "If a service member offers money or resources or volunteers to support a group that advocates against abortion, could he be viewed as supporting extremists?" Younts questioned. "What about supporting a group that advocates for … the existence of only two genders?"

Taking it one step further, Younts asked, "If I were still in the Air Force and tithed to my church, which goes out to pray in protest against a transgender story hour, would my church fit the Army's definition of an extremist group?"

To that end, Spears pointed out that Army directive 2024-07 states extremist activity includes "advocating widespread unlawful discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including pregnancy), gender identity, or sexual orientation." He warned that "because they feel they need to please their political superiors, some military commanders will infer that because you disagree with women competing in men's sports, you are now engaging in an act of extremism."

In fact, Spears added, the Army's new reporting requirements "essentially force commanders to prove the innocence of soldiers accused of extremism, rather than guilt."

"These are now things every single Christian military member that is doctrinally aligned with traditional biblical views of life, marriage and gender must consider," Younts told WND. For this reason, he recommends "these service members should be raising the issue to their congressmen, and apply for a religious accommodation to be exempted from the policy."

"We have to get [military] leaders to clarify what they are saying in the new directives," Younts argues. "I don't think it's irrational to believe that some of today's senior leadership would view the church or another 501(c) nonprofit organization as an extremist for disavowing abortion, same-sex marriage and a host of other sins running rampant in society."

For Spears, one of his biggest concerns is the fact that the directives apply not only to active-duty Army personnel, but also to inactivated members of the Reserve and National Guard. "When reservists and guardsmen are activated, they fall under the Uniform Code of Military Justice – but when not activated, they fall under civil law, like all other civilians," he explained. "The Army's new rules on so-called 'extremism' further erode the line between civilian and military life."

"This is a terrifying development that extends the Defense Department's intrusive reach into the personal lives of non-activated Reservists and National Guardsmen," Spears argued. And this, he concluded, "sends a chilling message across the force that must be overturned by the courts."
