The Royal family seems to have more drama these days than it has in quite some time.

According to the Daily Mail, since its report regarding the late Queen Elizabeth's reported anger over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's claim that they had her blessing to name their child Lilibet, Prince Harry has been spotted for the first time.

Initial reports from one of the queen's staff members at the time indicated that the queen was "as angry as I'd ever seen her" over the apparent false claim that she gave her blessing to do so.

The name Lilibet was the queen's childhood nickname.

What's happening?

The Daily Mail described Prince Harry as looking "pensive" as he was spotted while on a jog this week.

The outlet reported that the 39-year-old Royal family member was "seemingly wearing a frowning, serious expression."

The Daily Mail noted:

Harry's post-workout sighting in Santa Barbara, California, on Tuesday morning comes just days after Robert Hardman's bombshell new biography revealed the late Queen's anger over the claim in 2021 that she had given them her blessing.

Notably, Harry and Meghan clearly believe they had the queen's blessing at the time, as they publicly stated that they would have never considered using the name without that blessing.

The queen, according to inside sources, reportedly said in the wake of the child bearing the name, "I don't own the palaces, I don't own the paintings, the only thing I own is my name. And now they've taken that."

More drama

The situation regarding the name was heavily contested by both sides. Meghan and Harry reportedly had their lawyers write to news outlets to say that any claims that they didn't have the queen's blessing to name their child Lilibet were "false and defamatory."

The lawyers demanded that the media outlets not repeat that in their stories regarding the controversy.

"The couple subsequently fired off warnings of legal action against anyone who dared to suggest otherwise, as the BBC had done. However, when the Sussexes tried to co-opt the Palace into propping up their version of events, they were rebuffed," the new book said.

Legal actions against the BBC and other outlets never came to fruition. Only time will tell what drama erupts within the royal family next.

Questions have surfaced about the first family's secret service details, following information obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, according to Just The News

Emails that were obtained by the watchdog organization Judicial Watch have brought to light the temporary suspension of the security provided by the Secret Service to the first son, Hunter Biden, during his trip to Kosovo in 2016, when President Joe Biden was serving as vice president.

The first family's usage of federal resouces have come into question since President Biden has again found a place in the Oval Office.

Questions came to the surface, particularly focused on Hunter Biden after the first son's laptop was reported on by journalists' uncovering a number of potential crimes along with a large volume of evidence of unethical activity.

The Legal Analysis

"Joe was communicating with the president of Ukraine at the time," Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said on the Tuesday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.

"Hunter was briefed on it or received details about the fact he was going to be briefed on it and the details of the call. Why on earth was Hunter Biden getting that type of information?

"And again, it further undermines the ... claim that Joe and Hunter weren't communicating about Ukraine."

The attorney went on, saying "Secondly, the more interesting issue is why wasn't Hunter given Secret Service protection while they were over in Kosovo?" he continued.

"That was a big trip for the ... Biden family because there was an event where Beau Biden, who had just died, was being given some type of monument in Kosovo. So the whole family was there. So why wasn't a Hunter getting Secret Service protection?"

The Fallout

Following the acquisition of 426 pages of documents by Judicial Watch last week, it was discovered that Vice President Biden had authorized the termination of Secret Service protection for Natalie Biden, the daughter of Hunter Biden and Beau Biden, in August of 2016, when the latter was traveling to Kosovo.

During the period that Biden was serving as vice president, Fitton explained that other emails revealed that members of Biden's family accompanied him on business trips.

"These are 210 emails from Joe Biden from his days as vice president to members of his family. It shows that they were closely working with him on political and government matters," he said.

The documents that the watchdog was able to acquire demonstrate that President Biden and members of his family reportedly used private emails to discuss meetings with the government.

Currently, the White House has not provided a response to the request for a remark.

Insiders close to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have heard the engagement rumors and are dispelling them, saying they are false.

Contrary to rumors that the pop star and Kansas City Chiefs tight end are engaged by early summer, sources close to the couple have informed TMZ that no proposal is imminent, as The Daily Wire reported.

They expressed uncertainty regarding the longevity of the relationship, stating that it was premature to determine whether it would progress beyond the dating phase.

According to the insiders, their relationship is reportedly still in the honeymoon phase, while other sources stated that the most difficult aspect is that Swift is about to embark on the international segment of "The Eras Tour."

The End of the Rumors

According to sources cited by TMZ, engagement rumors will no longer circulate once the celebrity couple has demonstrated how they handle being apart.

Kelce's football season is coming to a close, but on February 7, the "Shake It Off" singer will begin the next phase of her tour in Tokyo, Japan. It will continue until March 9th, after which she will take an additional two-month vacation.

Swift, 34, once more garnered attention over the weekend when she attended the frigid AFC Wild Card game to support Kelce and the Chiefs in their 26-7 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Swift was spotted post-game holding hands with Kelce, who was adorned in a jacket bearing his number.

Swift, who was dubbed "Person of the Year" by Time in 2023, detailed the duration of her relationship with Kelce, among other details, in an extensive interview.

Swift's Comments

“This all started when Travis [Kelce] very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift said.

“We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”

“By the time I went to that first game [in September], we were a couple,” she added. “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift continued.

“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

One of former President Donald Trump's top advisers just revealed that Trump will "probably" not pick Vivek Ramaswamy to be his running mate.

According to the New York Postthe Trump adviser who made this revelation is Jason Miller.

The outlet quotes Miller as saying, "Pretty safe to say it won't be Vivek."

It appears that a lot has changed since August 2023, when Trump actually said that Ramaswamy could be a "very good" vice president.

The latest

It would seem that Ramaswamy has done something to upset Trump. Trump suggested as much in two recent social media posts.

In the first one, Trump wrote:

Vivek started his campaign as a great supporter, “the best President in generations,” etc. Unfortunately, now all he does is disguise his support in the form of deceitful campaign tricks. Very sly, but a vote for Vivek is a vote for the “other side” — don’t get duped by this. Vote for “TRUMP,” don’t waste your vote! Vivek is not MAGA. The Biden Indictments against his Political Opponent will never be allowed in this Country, they are already beginning to fall! MAGA!!!

Trump did not get into specifics about Ramswamy's "deceitful campaign tricks." But, this message was enough to prompt a response from Ramaswamy.

In a lengthy X message, Ramaswamy, in part, wrote:

Yes, I saw President Trump’s Truth Social post. It’s an unfortunate move by his campaign advisors, I don’t think friendly fire is helpful. Donald Trump was the greatest President of the 21st century, and I’m not going to criticize him in response to this late attack.

Trump followed up with another message on Monday morning, writing:

A VOTE FOR VIVEK IS A WASTED VOTE. I LIKE VIVEK, BUT HE PLAYED IT TOO “CUTE” WITH US. CAUCUS TONIGHT, VOTE FOR DONALD J. TRUMP, BUILD UP THE NUMBERS!!! IN NOVEMBER, WE MUST TAKE OUR VERY TROUBLED NATION — A NATION IN DECLINE — BACK FROM CROOKED JOE BIDEN AND THE RADICAL LEFT DEMOCRATS AND THUGS WHO ARE DESTROYING IT. MAGA!!!

Looking forward

There has been much talk about who Trump's running mate is going to be because he is dominating Republican primary polls to such an extent that many commentators just assume that he is going to comfortably win the party's presidential nomination.

Trump has yet to indicate who he will choose as his running mate, if he does go on to win his party's nomination.

Trump did, however, recently reveal that he has made up his mind on the subject.

During the recent Iowa Town Hall event hosted by Fox News, Trump said, "I can't tell you that really, I mean, I know who it's going to be."

Based on what Miller told the Post, it appears that Ramaswamy can now be ruled out as a potential running mate for Trump.

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is threatening to have U.S. Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) removed from the House speakership position.

Greene did so during an appearance Friday on Steve Bannon's War Room program.

This comes after Johnson negotiated a government spending agreement with U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY). There will be more on this in a moment.

Suffice it to say, however, that Greene is among those House Republicans who are not happy with the agreement, which is why she has threatened to have Johnson removed from the speakership position.

"I would vacate the chair"

During her War Room appearance, Greene revealed that she recently met with Johnson to discuss the spending agreement and that, during this meetup, she threatened to move to "vacate the chair" if Johnson goes forward with the agreement that he has reached with Schumer.

"In my meeting with him yesterday and many other members of Congress, I let Speaker Johnson know that in no way, shape, or form will I support any type of CR [continuing resolution]," Greene said, referring to a temporary spending agreement that would avoid a government shutdown.

Greene continued by saying that House Republicans will not continue what she referred to as U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) "budget."

Greene said that she told Johnson that "if he moves forward with a separate deal - trading our border security, weakening H.R. 2  in exchange for $60 billion to Ukraine - I told him yesterday in his office that I would vacate the chair, that that is absolutely unacceptable."

Greene went on to say that "the ball is" now in Johnson's "court."

Background

Johnson has faced significant criticism from some House Republicans for the spending deal that he has reached with Schumer. Greene highlighted some of the problems with the deal, but the overall problem that these Republicans have with the deal is that it allows the government to continue spending more than they believe that it should.

Despite the criticism, Johnson has indicated that he is sticking with the deal, saying, "Our topline agreement remains."

A spending deal needs to be reached by Jan. 19 in order to avoid a government shutdown, and Johnson seems to believe that the deal that he has negotiated with Schumer is the best that Republicans can do given the fact that Democrats control the White House and Senate and the fact that Republicans only have a two-seat majority in the House.

Greene and other House Republicans obviously disagree.

The question now is whether Republicans will have Johnson removed if he proceeds with the deal. It ought to be remembered that former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was removed for essentially the same reason.

U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) says that he is sticking with the government spending deal that he has reached with U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY).

Johnson is doing so despite the heavy criticism that he has received for the deal from some of his fellow House Republicans.

The Hill reports that the House speaker made a public statement on the matter on Friday, and it was in this statement that Johnson indicated that, despite the criticism, he plans on sticking with the spending agreement.

"Our topline agreement remains."

"After weeks of hard-fought negotiations, we achieved a strong top-line agreement that allows our appropriations committee and all those who work on this to complete the appropriations process. It’s an important part of keeping the government running," Johnson told members of the press on Friday.

He added, "Our topline agreement remains. We are getting our next steps together, and we are working toward a robust appropriations process. So stay tuned for all that."

Johnson, following this brief statement, did not take any questions from the press.

A "total failure"

Most of the criticism that Johnson has been receiving comes from the House Freedom Caucus.

Fox News reports, "The conservative House Freedom Caucus led the revolt against Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s agreement on Sunday evening, recirculating a late December memo that said any funding topline higher than $1.59 trillion would be 'totally unacceptable.'"

In addition to the memo, the House Freedom Caucus also posted a message on X in which they called the spending agreement a "total failure."

"Don’t believe the spin. Once you break through typical Washington math, the true total programmatic spending level is $1.658 trillion — not $1.59 trillion," the group wrote.

Still hope?

Although Johnson appeared resolute during his statement on Friday, some believe that he has not settled on the agreement - that he is still considering alternatives.

House Freedom Caucus Bob Good (R-VA) said, "Well, he has not rescinded it yet. But I am quite certain he is legitimately considering alternatives."

Johnson's final decision on the matter should be forthcoming as he is trying to avoid a government shutdown and some agencies are currently scheduled to shut down on Jan. 19. 2024.

"The pedal's to the metal. We have the top-line agreement. This allows us to fight for our policy priorities, for our policy riders now. And our appropriators are resolute on doing that," Johnson said last week.

An individual who has been trying to stop former President Donald Trump from appearing on 2024 ballots has been indicted.

Fox News reports that John Anthony Castro's indictment was announced on Wednesday.

This is the same Castro who is running as a Republican candidate in the 2024 presidential election. In other words, he is one of Trump's Republican rivals.

"Rivals," however, is probably not the right word, for it would be an understatement to call Castro a "longshot" candidate, and, with this indictment, the chances are that his odds of winning just got even longer.

The allegations

Castro is now facing nearly three dozen tax-related charges.

Fox reports:

Castro, 40, of Mansfield, Texas, was indicted on 33 counts of aiding and assisting in the preparation and presentation of a false and fraudulent return, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Leigha Simonton announced on Wednesday. Court records show the indictment was filed under seal on Jan. 3.

The Hill provides further information.

According to the outlet, prosecutors allege, "Castro would promise a significantly higher refund than taxpayers could receive from other preparers and, on many occasions, offered to split the additional refund with taxpayers. In order to achieve these larger refunds, Castro generated false deductions, that were not based in fact, and which were submitted without the taxpayer’s knowledge.

Castro was caught in this scheme by an undercover police officer who pretended to be a customer.

More bad news for Castro

It just so happens that Castro was indicted on the same day that his attempt to have Trump removed from New Hampshire 2024 ballots failed.

Castro is among those individuals who are trying to claim that Trump is precluded from running for the presidency in 2024 under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

This section, essentially, prohibits individuals from holding public office who took a certain oath and who "engaged in insurrection." The argument is that Trump took such an oath when he became president and that he "engaged in insurrection" on Jan. 6, 2021.

Castro is trying to get Trump removed from the ballot in no less than 27 states. Thus far, he has lost in New Hampshire, Florida, and Nevada, and it does not appear as though any of his other claims are really gaining any traction.

Regarding the tax charges, Castro claims that he is innocent. He said, "I don’t care if they offered me one day of probation and a slap on the wrist in exchange for a guilty plea. This is going to trial. I am going to convince all 12 jurors that I am 100 percent innocent and that this is political retaliation."

Legendary Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne worried fans about his condition recently when he was spotted in a rare public outing.

According to the Daily Mail, Osbourne was dining out in Los Angeles with his daughter, Aimee, when some took notice of his "frail" appearance.

The iconic metal rocker was seen relying heavily on a walking cane, which is a result of multiple back surgeries that left him in rough shape.

Aimee Osbourne is the eldest of Ozzy's daughters. She's listed as an "English actor and singer."

Not looking great

Ozzy Osbourne was reportedly left "virtually crippled" after multiple back surgeries following a quad bike accident. His surgeries resulted in further complications with his walking and balance.

Adding to his condition is the fact that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2003, which comes with its own slate of complications with age.

— Daily Mail Celebrity (@DailyMailCeleb) January 10, 2024

Last year, Ozzy was interviewed and asked about his health. He opened up about a nasty fall he took in 2019 that he said nearly took him out.

"It's really knocked me about. The second surgery went drastically wrong and virtually left me crippled," Ozzy said.

He added, "I thought I'd be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one they put a f***ing rod in my spine. They found a tumour in one of the vertebrae, so they had to dig all that out too. It's pretty rough, man, and my balance is all f****d up."

Not afraid of dying

In the interview, he also admitted that he's not scared of death at this point.  "I don't fear dying, but I don't want to have a long, painful and miserable existence," he said.

He added, "I like the idea that if you have a terminal illness, you can go to a place in Switzerland and get it done quickly. I saw my father die of cancer."

"But look, I said to Sharon that I'd smoked a joint recently and she said, "What are you doing that for?'"

"It'll f***ing kill you!" I said, "How long do you want me to f***ing live for?!" At best, I've got 10 years left and when you're older, time picks up speed. Me and Sharon had our 41st wedding anniversary recently, and that's just unbelievable to me!"

Ozzy Osbourne's last full concern was on New Year's Eve of 2018.

Throughout his career, he managed to earn 25 platinum records for his solo work, and more with his band.

On Monday, New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez verbally attacked Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife.

The New York lawmaker made her comments in an effort to get Thomas to step down from a case that would involve former President Donald Trump, as The Blaze reported.

The Supreme Court has agreed to consider Trump's appeal of the Colorado Supreme Court's decision that he is not qualified to be president, as announced last week.

Following Thomas's ruling, Ocasio-Cortez claimed on CNN that it would constitute a "scandal."

The accusations

Thomas has been charged by the high-profile millennial congresswoman with being part of an insurrection, and saying he's therefore unfit to sit on the bench of the nation's high court in the event of a case involving Trump.

"I think it's very clear Clarence Thomas, and, rather, his wife, Ginni, participated in the events of Jan. 6," Ocasio-Cortez told CNN anchor Anderson Cooper without evidence.

The lawmaker went on:

"And now what is likely going before the Supreme Court is a judgment as to whether an event that his wife participated in, that his wife has been investigated by, in the Jan. 6 committee in, qualifies as an insurrection," she continued.

"And Clarence Thomas' decision on that one way or another, and overall the court's decision on that, would directly implicate his wife.

Ocasio-Cortez went on to say that her legal opinion is that the justice and scholar should be allowed to weigh in: "So this is just one of the most classic textbook conflicts of interest and it would, frankly, be a scandal if he did not recuse himself."

Response to The Comments

Cooper remained silent regarding all of Ocasio-Cortez's fallacious assertions.

However, it has been established that the justice's wife, Ginni Thomas did not "participate" in the disturbance that occurred at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, as the term is used in American political jargon.

However, she did attend the pro-Trump rally that was held outside the Capitol mere hours prior to the outbreak of violence.

Furthermore, Ginni Thomas has not faced any charges pertaining to insurrection, or any other criminal offense. Ocasio-Cortez hypothesized that had she engaged in any misconduct pertaining to January 6, the Justice Department would have undoubtedly brought her to justice, given its zealous pursuit of lawbreakers on Capitol Hill on that date.

Furthermore, it is not anticipated that the Supreme Court will render a verdict regarding the classification of January 6 as a "insurrection."

On the contrary, the matter at hand pertains to the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling regarding President Trump's exclusion from the 2024 presidential primary ballot, as stated in Trump's petition for certiorari.
