Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris has passed the 34th day of not giving an unscripted press conference on Saturday since replacing President Joe Biden.

Ever since President Biden endorsed her as his replacement following his forced exit from the presidential race, Harris has been emulating her predecessor and has spent the entire time hiding from the media

Despite having a friendly mainstream media, Harris has refused to give interviews or speak with the media outside of specific exemptions.

Aside from rally speeches and a speech at the DNC formally accepting the nomination, Harris has been completely radio silent and for good reason.

Harris's campaign is all-in on the "Vote for me I'm not Trump" strategy as Harris represents the failures of the past four years and her own ideas are so radical and dangerous that Democrats don't want them revealed.

Zero Information

The Harris campaign has been so airtight that they haven't even posted a policies page on the Harris campaign website advertising the stances that Harris holds.

It's been over thirty days since Harris accepted Biden's endorsement to replace him but its actually been months since she last had any kind of interview.

Harris was last interviewed on television on June 24, 2024. She has not faced questions from the press at a solo news conference since December 2, 2023.

Harris has always been hidden away by the Biden administration because she was a liability. But she is running to be the President of the United States now so hiding her away is unacceptable, just like it was with Biden before her.

She can't hide from the media forever and speculation has been building about an interview happening soon. Axios claimed "She has committed to one interview by Aug. 31,” but there is no such interview scheduled and that is less than a week away.

When Harris eventually does do her interview, her campaign has two challenges to overcome: how to keep Harris from going off script, and how to make her agenda palatable for angry and economically defeated voters.

Horrific Economic Policies

Americans got a glimpse of what to expect out of Harris last week when during a speech at a rally, Harris proudly advocated for Soviet-style price controls to combat "price gouging" by greedy corporations.

Harris refuses to acknowledge that it is the policies of the Biden administration that has created extreme inflation, not corporations greedily raising prices at the same time the Biden administration printed trillions.

The backlash from Harris's communist proposals was swift and explains why Harris has avoided interviews or questions so far.

Her agenda is completely beyond the pale and Americans will reject her outright if they knew her plans. However, with Harris hiding, she can be portrayed as a normal Democrat vs. the bogeyman that the mainstream media has created to represent Donald Trump.

Alaska Lt. Gov. Nancy Dahlstrom announced Friday that she was dropping out of the U.S. House of Representatives race to consolidate support behind fellow Republican Nick Begich, the Washington Examiner reported. Dahlstrom had received the backing of former President Donald Trump.

Incumbent Rep. Mary Peltola (D-AK) had flipped its single House of Representatives seat in 2022. The ranked-choice voting system caused in-fighting between GOP candidates that helped Peltola get elected, and Dahlstrom was determined not to let that happen again.

"I entered this race because Alaskans deserve better representation than what we have received from Mary Peltola in Washington. At this time, the best thing I can do to see that goal realized is to withdraw my name from the general election ballot and end my campaign," Dahlstrom said in a statement.

Voting System

According to Fox News, Alaska changed its elections from a straight majority to a ranked-choice system in 2020. Voters are asked to rank each candidate from first to fourth rather than casting a vote for a single person.

The top four then battle it out in the general election. This creates a situation where multiple candidates from a single party compete instead of one Democrat versus one Republican, like in most other states.

It also means that the person who received the most votes isn't necessarily the winner. If a single candidate does not receive more than 50% of the vote in the first round of tallying, the ranked-choice system comes into play.

The tallying eliminates the candidate with the fewest votes and awards the vote to the second-choice candidate for people who ranked that now-eliminated candidate first on the ballot. The tallies continue until only one candidate remains and is deemed the winner.

This is how Peltola flipped a seat occupied by a Republican for more than 50 years. Peltola beat out both Republican candidates, including former Gov. Sarah Palin and Begich, despite their receiving more votes.

Strategic Move

Democrats will likely attempt to spin Dahlstrom's exit as a strike against Trump because she was the candidate he endorsed. However, her exit was a clever move that cut the opponents' strategy off at the knees.

Earlier this month, Politico revealed the strategy one Democrat-backed political action committee employed that exploited the ranked-choice voting system for the primary. Vote Alaska Before Party poured over $1 million into promoting three Republican candidates in Alaska.

They also used radio, television, and digital advertising to drive the conversation of the election to abortion and where the candidates stand. Peltola is a pro-abortion Democrat, while all of the Republicans support restrictions.

Jim Lottsfeldt, the organization's treasurer, said that Vote Alaska Before Party wanted "all Alaskans to know that all of the Peltola challengers" were pro-life. "Our state has lots of pro-choice Republicans — and Peltola’s commitment to freedom and choice stands her apart from the so-called MAGA crowd," Lottsfeldt claimed.

Dahlstrom's choice will ultimately give her party a fighting chance at winning back Alaska's lone seat in the House this November. She made the move that was best for Alaska, which demonstrates her character and commitment to the state.

Didier Borotra, the mayor of Biarritz on the Basque Coast of France and a member of the French Senate, died on Wednesday at the age of 86 from a stroke.

He was mayor of the famous seaside resort in the Basque Country for a total of 23 years (from 1991 to 2014) and was a builder who shaped the Basque Coast during that time.

Borotra was struck by a massive stroke after giving a tribute to his childhood friend and renowned art collector Pierre Levai, who died in June in New York.

He was a strong centrist during his time as mayor.

He gets the credit

Borotra was an industrialist and builder before he entered politics, and he brought that ability to his time as mayor.

He was a senator for Pyrénées-Atlantiques until 2011. He served as a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces.

After becoming Mayor, he got major credit for taking the sleepy town and revitalizing it into a modern marvel.

His tenure saw new top-notch cultural and conference facilities including the Media Library, the Maison des Associations, the renovation of the municipal casino and the Bellevue, the Cité de l'Océan, and the Halle d'Iraty.

He also established a heritage protection zone in the city, which gave government help to property owners to preserve their buildings in that zone.

He also gets the blame

Borotra apparently didn't have a crystal clear reputation.

In 2017, he was sentenced on appeal to a fine of 30,000 euros for canceling thousands of parking tickets while he was a municipal official.

In 2019, he was prosecuted for "illegal taking of interests" for his part in a consultancy missions project entrusted to his daughter Sophie.

In that case, Borotra was acquitted by the Pau Court of Appeal.

These two court actions don't negate the influence Borotra had on his city and the legacy he will leave behind.

The heat continues to increase for the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris, this time in the form of criticism for her running mate, someone who has feigned more public service than he actually participated in.

Democrat vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz (MN) was sharply criticized for lying about his military experience in a letter sent on Wednesday by fifty Republican veterans sitting in the United States Congress, as Breitbart News reported.

As Walz prepared to speak at the Democratic National Convention, the letter was leaked, in which they stated:

The Office of the Vice President is a position that requires the trust of the American people and a solemn commitment to duty on behalf of the United States of America. As veterans who have served our nation, we feel compelled to address your egregious misrepresentations and urge you to come clean to the American people.

More from the Lawmakers

This pushback is hardly something unexpected among Republicans, who are known for being a highly military-involved group.

Those who served in the military often run on their record, which is a tradition Walz seemed to be attempting to do as well, before it was discovered that he was blowing his service out of proportion.

According to some, his exaggeration was growing to the point of stolen valor.

'No Honor …'

"There is no honor in lying about the nature of your service," the Republican members stated, while stating that Walz should be proud of his service in the National Guard:

Repeatedly claiming to be a ‘Retired Command Sergeant Major’ when you did not complete the requirements was not honorable. Nor was it honorable to claim to carry weapons ‘in war’ when you had not served in war, and abandoning the men and women under your leadership just as they were getting ready to deploy was certainly not honorable either.

Although Walz was really a retired master sergeant, he made the bogus claim that he was a former command sergeant major, the highest enlisted position in the Army.

Furthermore, he made an unfounded assertion about having guns "in war" despite never having been deployed to a combat zone.

The Blunt Assessment

The former military members didn't pull any punches, saying, “To be blunt, when you falsely claim military service that did not happen and abandon your post, you diminish the real sacrifices made by veterans who did serve in combat,” they wrote.

The excruciating diatribe went on to describe what many experience through service, saying "The honor of wearing the uniform is earned through dedication, bravery, and an unwavering sense of duty.

"You have displayed none of these characteristics as you have lied your way through a political career launched on the foundation of a title you did not earn and combat deployments you did not take part in."

Their deep concern, they said, originated with the fact that he was seeking the office of vice president, which is "one heartbeat away" from commander-in-chief.

Kamala Harris has once again come face to face with the fact that she didn't actually win the Democrat nomination as former President Barack Obama reminded voters of how the party works.

While the Harris campaign has continually asserted that the candidate chosen by the DNC, not the voters, is qualified for the job, she still sits in the shadow of the more recent candidates.

This was demonstrated when the poster design by Shepard Fairey's Hope became synonymous with Barrack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, as Creative Blog reported.

The poster played a significant role in the Democrat candidate's victory over John McCain by delivering a critical one-word message.

On the Poster

The poster design was included in the National Portrait Gallery's collection, and now Fairey has revived the design in an attempt to use the design again for Kamala Harris.

According to the designer, her work is looking to support the effort of Harris to prevent a "convicted felon" from winning the White House once again.

In blue and teal, Fairey's poster of Kamala Harris features the current vice president gazing upward while wearing a circular red KH badge.

The term "HOPE" is substituted with "FORWARD," which is consistent with Harris's declaration that "We're not going back."

From the Artist

On his Instagram page, Fairey wrote: "In order not to go back, we must go FORWARD!... While we have not achieved all the goals we might be seeking, we are making progress - all in the face of expanding threats and regressive political adversaries.”

He added: “If we act we can move forward our desire for a healthy planet, for corporate accountability, toward equality and away from racism, sexism, xenophobia, and homophobia, for equitable access to opportunity, for full access to the medical care we want or need, for fair and just immigration policies."

According to Fairey, the Harris FORWARD poster is free and open to non-commercial use, and its purpose is to serve as a tool for grassroots movement.

He claims he will not have any financial gain because he was not compensated for his labor.

More Support

However, that poster isn't the only one making its way onto the nominated candidate's trail of campaign paraphernalia.

Other artists, including a street artist and illustrator from New York City, have created art in support of the candidate whose primary claim to fame is that she's NOT former President Donald Trump.

Democrat New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez resigned from the Senate on Tuesday after he was convicted on federal bribery charges last month.

Menendez was convicted of accepting gold bars and cash to act as an agent for Egypt after FBI agents raided his home and found $480,000 in cash and gold bars.

He let Governor Phil Murphy (D) know he was resigning the same day he was convicted, and last Friday he ended his re-election bid as an independent as well.

Even so, Menendez is appealing his conviction and has started by filing a 30-page motion to dismiss the case.

Moving forward

"The government failed to prove any of the elements of the alleged quid pro quo," his defense said.

Murphy has named his gubernatorial chief of staff George Helmy to finish out Menendez's term until the election can take place.

Democrat Andy Kim and Republican Curtis Bashaw are running for the seat in November.

The seat is probably safe for Democrats, since a Republican has not won in New Jersey in five decades.

Lifelong career

Menendez, 70, has been in political office since a few years after his high school graduation, starting with the local board of education and moving to the state legislature and then Congress.

His Senate career started with an appointment in 2006 when then-Senator John Corzine was elected governor. He then was re-elected and has served since.

He was tried for bribery once before in 2015, when he was accused of getting luxury vacations and campaign contributions from a dentist in exchange for favors.

The charges were eventually dropped when the prosecution couldn't prove its case.

The previous charges may have emboldened Menendez to think he could get away with doing the same thing again, assuming he was guilty the first time.

This time, however, he has a different reality to face.

In case you're wondering what the possible future leader of the free world, her husband, and her second-in-command have been doing lately, X reported on Sunday that it took all three of them to find a bag of Doritos.

Democrat vice presidential pick Gov. Tim Walz (MN) posted the video in which he, Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris, and second gentleman Doug Emhoff were apparently searching a convenience store for Doritos to satisfy Harris's snack cravings.

"Every road trip needs a snack break. Doritos acquired. I got you, @KamalaHarris," Walz posted with an accompanying video of the escapade.

The response

Seemingly, it was an attempt to be relatable to the masses, but not everyone on social media was receptive to the idea.
"Most normal people don’t make such a big deal about locating a bag of Doritos but congrats on humaning, or something," Tim Murtagh commented.

“Do you not realize those cost us 28% more now than they did 4 years ago because of Kamala and Joe?” another person wrote in a dig at inflation during her administration.

Still another commenter criticized Harris's choice of Doritos flavors. “The only good Doritos are the Spicy Chili (Purple Bag) one,” Isaac Schorr of Mediaite wrote.

"Buying groceries is a game to Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Is buying groceries a game to you right now?" still another commenter said.

It's serious

On the other side, people called the critics fun-ruiners and tried to downplay inflation.

While the clip may have been orchestrated to look fun, it was a deadly serious attempt to relate to a deeply divided electorate that seems to have been met with mixed success.

It hardly seems to rise to the level of importance of a U.S. presidential candidate and her running mate, but that probably wasn't the point.

It's scary to think of this airheaded woman becoming president along with her very radical and tyrannical VP pick, whether they enjoy Doritos or not.

As some of the commenters pointed out, there are very serious issues facing our country that will need to be dealt with.

Harris has already shown she is incompetent, and the country really can't afford four years of her ineptitude.

Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) has finally dropped his reelection bid ahead of Friday's deadline after being convicted of corruption.

In addition to finally dropping his bid for reelection, Menendez officially resigned his seat, effective Aug. 20, next Tuesday.

Menendez confirmed his decision in a letter to New Jersey’s acting director of the state’s Division of Elections, Donna Barber, saying "By means of this email please be advised that as an Independent candidate for the U.S. Senate in this November’s election I am advising you that I wish to have my name withdrawn from the ballot."

This decision brings the end to Menendez's long and corrupt career as he has become the poster boy for New Jersey's corruption which has been a topic of discussion for years.

Menendez spent years in the Senate enriching himself while advocating for foreign nations and his fellow Democrats reportedly knew nothing about any of it.

Rank Corruption

Menendez has been in Congress for 31 years and the information coming out about him is a great argument for term limits for Congress.

He was convicted on 16 criminal counts all of which he has appealed and is using $3.3 million in campaign funds to bankroll his legal fees. Now that he has dropped out of the race he can no longer accept new donations.

Barring a major development in his appeals process he will be sentenced on October 29, and at worst he faces decades in prison.

He was convicted of charges of accepting bribes, including cash and gold bars, to benefit the governments of Egypt and Qatar. Much like how the Biden family has been selling influence, Menendez also sold his position to the highest bidder.

Damian Williams, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, who prosecuted the case stated following the conviction that Menendez's "years of selling his office to the higher bidder have finally come to an end.”

Menendez defiantly claimed that he "never violated my public oath," and vowed to fight the conviction. While it remains to be seen what will happen with his appeal, Senate Democrats may be breathing a sigh of relief with Menendez dropping out.

Disaster Averted

Menendez was running against Representative Andy Kim (D-NJ) and Republican Curtis Bashaw. There was a real fear among Democrats that Menendez may have split the vote allowing Bashaw to take a surprise victory in a deep blue state.

Kim is the Democrat Party's chosen successor for Menendez but until Menendez actually dropped out of the race things weren't going according to plan.

Furthermore, Menendez's insistence on sticking around did more damage to Democrats who have had to act like nobody was aware of his thirty years of corruption and self-enrichment.

Now Bashaw's chances of stealing a surprise Senate seat are back in the ground but some of New Jersey's Republicans are hopeful that the general population will be so disgusted with the corruption that they will look for a change in leadership.

Jamal Trulove, a film director and actor wrongly convicted by Kamala Harris when she was the San Francisco district attorney, has announced his endorsement of former President Donald Trump.

In a video posted to YouTube, Trulove stated, "In 2008, I was framed for murder and wrongfully convicted by the office of Kamala Harris, sentenced 50 [years] to life in prison." He would go on to explain the accusations against him and his decision to endorse Trump in November's election.

Thankfully, Trulove only spent seven years in prison as opposed to half a century but that is still the better part of a decade of life lost thanks to Harris and her shoddy prosecution.

Trulove was convicted in 2010 of first-degree murder with a firearm after being arrested in October 2008 for an October 2007 killing.

He also was hit with being a felon in possession of a firearm because he had a previous conviction for receiving stolen goods, a major escalation on account of a much less serious crime.

Harris Smiled And Laughed

Trulove knew he was innocent but he still watched Kamala Harris smile and laugh when he was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison.

Harris was serving as San Francisco's district attorney,  a position she held from 2004 to 2011, and was deeply involved in wrongfully convicting Trulove.

Trulove explained that she was in the courtroom for his sentencing saying, "When they came with the verdict guilty … I turned around, and I looked, and I saw Kamala Harris. We locked eyes this one time, and she laughed.”

After he was convicted, he appealed the conviction leading to California's First District Court of Appeal reducing his charge from first-degree murder to second-degree murder.

In the following hearings, it was revealed that Assistant District Attorney Linda Allen, who worked directly beside Harris, committed misconduct by claiming Trulove had intimidated a witness without presenting evidence.

This would lead to a retrial in 2015 where Trulove's lawyers demonstrated that the evidence did not convict him and he was finally acquitted.

Harris Was Aware Of Everything

Trulove blasted Harris stating that, "She was the head of it, she overseen it. She had to, it was a murder case, right? And at the end of my paperwork, it’s a stamp and seal, ‘Office of Kamala Harris.'"

Following his acquittal Trulove went on to file a federal civil rights lawsuit against the city and county of San Francisco over the misconduct of Harris's office. Two years later Trulove would be awarded $10 million and then win a settlement after an appeal for $13.1 million.

Trulove didn't hold back saying, "And if you’re wondering if I’m going to be voting for Kamala Laugh-a-Lot Harris, f*** no. I’m going with Donald Trump. Where’s my red hat at?”

Kamala Harris's past as a dirty cop is being covered up by the mainstream media but Trulove is doing his part in blowing her cover. The irony of the Democrat Party running a dirty cop who locked up innocent Black men is almost too unbelievable.

Both former President Donald Trump and his campaign managers confirmed that Corey Lewandowski will come back to help the campaign, along with other former campaign staffers.

Lewandowski has been an unofficial advisor to the campaign but will take a more formal role, according to Politico.

Tim Murtaugh, who was communications director in 2020, will also return to the campaign along with Alex Pfeiffer and Alex Bruesewitz from the MAGA Inc. super PAC.

Leader of MAGA Inc. Taylor Budowich will also take on a senior role in the campaign, Politico reported.

"Unmatched experience"

“As we head into the home stretch of this election, we are continuing to add to our impressive campaign team,” Trump co-campaign managers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita said in a statement. “Corey Lewandowski, Taylor Budowich, Alex Pfeiffer, Alex Bruesewitz, and Tim Murtaugh are all veterans of prior Trump campaigns and their unmatched experience will help President Trump prosecute the case against Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, the most radical ticket in American history.”

Lewandowski was supposedly exiled from "Trump World" in 2021 after Trashelle Odom, the wife of a major Trump donor, accused him of making unwanted advances toward her.

But Trump has kept him close and in the loop even if he didn't have a formal role until now outside consulting for the RNC.

Trump expressed confidence in Wiles and LaCivita as the new campaign staff were added.

Polling slump

He has experienced a bit of a polling slump since President Joe Biden stepped back from his re-election bid and Vice President Kamala Harris became the nominee.

This was bound to happen as a result of the shakeup--in fact, it's probably why they Democrats dumped Biden in the first place.

Voters seem to be attracted to Harris as the "new" face in the race, even though she has been largely ineffective as vice president.

The media has suddenly forgotten all of her gaffes and ineptitude, and so far the American public seems to be eating it up.

The debate should open people's eyes to Harris's true nature and how absolutely inept she will be if elected.

It's a mystery how she has surged in the polls despite no voters actually voting for her to be the nominee.
