Attorney General Pam Bondi has fired a DOJ paralegal who was caught flipping the bird at National Guardsmen working in Washington, D.C.
The paralegal, identified as Elizabeth Baxter, was on her way to work at the DOJ's environmental division when she flipped off a National Guard member and then bragged about it to a security guard working in the lobby of her building.
Baxter told the guard that she had encountered the National Guard member at the Metro Center Metro Stop when she made the obscene gesture and loudly proclaimed, “F–k the National Guard."
Her bad behavior didn't stop there, as she was later observed on that same day by DOJ security cameras flipping off the National Guard and saying, “F–k you!” Keep it classy, leftists.
Many of Washington, D.C.'s residents are grateful to have the National Guard in town, as there has been an unprecedented drop in crime. For the first time in years, its fairly safe to walk the streets of the nation's capital without risking being robbed at gunpoint.
Regardless of one's feelings about the situation in Washington, D.C., it's unacceptable for a public servant to be making obscene gestures to other public servants who are doing their jobs. Only a leftist would ever think it's acceptable to treat America's armed forces with such disrespect.
An investigation into Baxter's actions was quickly conducted, resulting in the issuance of a termination letter that read, "You are removed from your position of Paralegal Specialist, GS-0950-11, Environmental Defense Section, Environment and Natural Resources Division, and from the federal service, effective immediately."
In comments made to The New York Post, Bondi explained that, "Today, I took action to terminate a DOJ employee for inappropriate conduct towards National Guard service members in DC."
She went on to warn other DOJ workers by saying, "This DOJ remains committed to defending President Trump’s agenda and fighting to make America safe again. If you oppose our mission and disrespect law enforcement — you will NO LONGER work at DOJ.”
This incident with Baxter comes after another DOJ paralegal, Sean Charles Dunn, was charged with throwing a Subway sandwich at federal law enforcement. He was lucky to avoid felony charges for his absurdly boneheaded decision.
Interestingly, Baxter and Dunn worked in the same building and were both paralegals. Clearly, it's time for Bondi to review the hiring practices that have allowed for such a toxic and disrespectful culture to flourish.
The decision to deploy the National Guard to clean up D.C., since Democratic mayor Muriel Bowser would rather coddle criminals, has led to fantastic results with over 1,000 arrests made, according to Bondi.
Of particular note is the seizure of over 100 illegal firearms. Typically, leftists are demanding that weapons be seized, but because the Trump administration is disarming criminals and not regular citizens, leftists are angry.
Washington D.C.'s police union is also happy with the National Guard's presence, and the police union thanked the Trump administration for their focus on cleaning up the city, something D.C's metropolitan police have been unable to do thanks to soft-on-crime leadership.
This cleanup of Washington, D.C. has starkly illustrated how Democrats are on the side of criminals over regular Americans. Liberals like Baxter are flipping the bird at our troops who are making life better for law-abiding citizens.
America First Legal has launched a bombshell lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration concerning the side effects of puberty blockers on children.
AFL is trying to get its hands on Biden-era records related to the government's internal guidance on the use of puberty blockers and the negative side effects on children.
This lawsuit comes after the AFL filed a Freedom of Information Act request, which uncovered communications from the Biden administration to the FDA recommending the use of puberty blockers despite the knowledge that they caused mental health problems.
Essentially, it appears that the Biden administration was totally aware of the damage puberty blockers could do but recommended their use anyway to appease the demands of radical transgender activists pushing transition on minors.
The FDA's deadline to present documents has already passed, and now AFL is taking them to court. The fact that bureaucrats at the FDA are obstructing this request demonstrates how entrenched leftist ideologues are in federal agencies eight months into Trump's presidency.
The Biden administration was clearly pushing the use of puberty-blocking drugs on minors despite knowing about the negative side effects.
AFL counsel Will Scolinos pointed this out by saying, "The Biden administration pushed gender-denying treatments on American kids. Now, it’s time to expose what officials really knew." Those officials must be held accountable for their reckless political agenda.
What's worse is that leftists have insisted for years that there are no life-altering "treatments" being pushed on children who supposedly are "transgender."
So far, AFL has obtained documents proving that Biden's Division of General Endocrinology recommended puberty blockers despite the fact that they cause increased depression, suicidality, and seizure risks in children.
In an email, one FDA official from the agency's endocrinology division explained, "There is definitely a need for these drugs to be approved for gender transition," while acknowledging that they "increased risk of depression and suicidality, as well as increased seizure risk," in the very same email.
Ignorance is no excuse when it comes to children's healthcare, but now the AFL has confirmed that the Biden administration knowingly pushed a treatment that would damage the mental health of children who are likely already experiencing mental health issues due to transgender social contagion.
Puberty blockers are typically used to combat precocious puberty and ensure children go through puberty at the right time. However, transgender activists have pushed for their use to delay puberty entirely into adulthood.
Leftist activists want children to take puberty blockers to increase the "effectiveness" of transition surgery. These ideas fly in the face of proper medical ethics, as puberty blockers can disrupt puberty even after blockers are removed.
In cases, puberty blockers can cause infertility and damage bone density, and lead to lifelong hormonal disruption and dysfunction.
The transgender movement's insane ideas prey on vulnerable, confused children and leave them with lifelong scars, both mentally and physically. Those in the medical field who have allowed these ideas to run rampant must be held accountable.
During one of her morning press conferences, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum contended that deportations of Mexicans were higher during Bill Clinton's presidency between 1993 and 2001 than they are now under President Donald Trump.
“The largest period of deportations from the United States to Mexico was with Bill Clinton, from 1993 to 2001,” she said. “There was one year, 2000, with 1,150,906 Mexicans deported.”
Another former President, Barack Obama, deported 601,356 Mexicans during his first year in office.
So far, Trump has only deported 86,017 in the roughly seven and a half months of his second term.
Sheinbaum attributed the lower number of deportees to a sharp decline in attempted border crossings after Trump ended asylum when he took office.
“We have to say that there are fewer migrants entering,” she said. “There was a very important reduction in persons from Mexico and other nationalities after President Trump’s decision to close … to close the asylums.”
Admittedly, it is much easier to deport migrants when they are caught trying to cross the border than rounding them up and sending them back months or years later, as Trump is trying to do.
Surely there are many more Mexican illegal immigrants in the U.S. than that 80,000, but the process of deporting them will be slower and much more labor intensive, if the administration chooses to go after all or most of them rather than just those who have committed crimes.
For her part, Sheinbaum had not been Trump's biggest fan before he took office and even condemned his immigration raids as recently as June.
“We did not agree with the use of raids to detain people who work honestly in the United States,” she said at the time.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem blamed Sheinbaum's comments in part for the violent protests in California that targeted ICE agents, Breitbart Texas reported at the time.
Sheinbaum seems to have come around in part because she's trying to negotiate a new agreement with Trump on trade and tariffs. She can't afford to look too hostile if she hopes to get favorable terms from Trump.
But her admission that Trump's border policies are working far better than those of his predecessors should resound throughout the world.
Unfortunately, it was only mentioned by Breitbart and a few copycats.
The issue of foreign aid is once again at the forefront of political discourse as the Trump administration looks to adjust how American taxpayer dollars are distributed.
In this case, the Trump administration has requested that the Supreme Court allow the withholding of billions of dollars of congressionally approved foreign aid, as USA Today reported.
That aid would have been distributed before the end of the fiscal year on Sept. 30, if the previous funding plan had moved forward.
However, the Department of Justice filed an appeal with the court this week, asking for the justices to pause a lower court’s order that would require the administration to distribute the money.
Solicitor General John Sauer said in the filing that the groups representing the aid contractors don’t have a legal basis to push the spending forward.
This is due to the fact that it’s up to Congress to challenge the administration if spending isn’t done appropriately by the executive branch, under a 1974 law called the Impoundment Control Act.
“Congress did not upset the delicate interbranch balance by allowing for unlimited, unconstrained private suits,” Sauer said.
“Any lingering dispute about the proper disposition of funds that the President seeks to rescind shortly before they expire should be left to the political branches, not effectively prejudged by the district court.”
Before the Supreme Court was involved in the case, U.S. District Judge Amir Ali ruled in favor of the groups that rely on the aid. The Biden appointee said it was an obligation of the executive branch to distribute the funds by the end of next month.
The AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition is one of the groups in question, and one of their officials is who is challenging the holdbacks. That official was allegedly not surprised by the ruling.
“Time and again, this administration has shown their disdain for foreign assistance and a disregard for people’s lives in the United States and around the world. But even more broadly and dangerously, this administration’s actions further erodes Congress’s role and responsibility as an equal branch of government,” said coalition’s executive director, Mitchell Warren.
“The question being put to SCOTUS is whether they will be complicit in further eroding the constitutional commitment to checks and balance.”

Sauer thinks that the question should be left to Congress, and those who believed they would receive the money, believe the battle was already won, and it should go to them. The Supreme Court has yet to rule.
President Donald Trump has made a number of changes that made their way to the Supreme Court, and it appears that might be happening again.
Trump announced earlier this week that he was removing Lisa Cook from the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in what many saw as an unprecedented move, as ABC News reported.
However, this could be a legal battle for Cook that takes the case all the way to the nation’s high court, because it could be seen as political interference.
Some believe the move by Trump is an escalation in his push for control over the influential financial institution that is the Fed.
The president posted on social media on Monday evening about the change, saying he was removing Cook, effective immediately.
According to the president he this is due to allegations that she was involved in mortgage fraud before she joined the board.
“Pursuant to my authority under Article Il of the Constitution of the United States and the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, as amended, you are hereby removed from your position on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, effective immediately,” Trump said in a letter to Cook.
🚨 LMAO! Leftist professor Paul Krugman says Lisa Cook’s literal MORTGAGE FRAUD is the equivalent of “cheating on a third grade exam”
Democrats are now openly backing fraudsters 🤣

Cook responded, saying that she wouldn’t step down, and that the president doesn’t have the authority to fire her.
“President Trump purported to fire me ‘for cause’ when no cause exists under the law, and he has no authority to do so,” she said in a statement. “I will not resign.”
“I will continue to carry out my duties to help the American economy as I have been doing since 2022.”
Cook has long been an influential figure as she became the first black woman to serve on the Fed’s board of governors.
The Fed itself votes on the central banking system’s major interest rate decisions, and has a wide-reaching impact on economic issues.
Before she was appointed to the board, she was an economics professor and held roles in the Clinton, (second) Bush, and Obama administrations.
First Lady Melania Trump told the New York Post on Monday that her next project will be to lead the Presidential Artificial Intelligence Challenge, which will educate children about AI and how it can be used for innovation.
Trump seems to be parlaying her advocacy for the Take It Down Act, which combats AI deepfakes, into a broader role related to AI and how children experience it today and in the future.
“Creating my AI Audiobook opened my eyes to the countless opportunities and risks this new technology brings to American society,” Trump told the Post.
“In just a few short years, AI will be the engine driving every business sector across our economy. It is poised to deliver great value to our careers, families, and communities," she continued. “Just as America once led the world into the skies with the Wright Brothers, we are poised to lead again —this time in the age of AI.”
In some ways like the Presidential Fitness Challenge, this challenge will involve groups of students using AI tools to create a phone app or website that solves a community problem.
Large language models, robotics, computer vision, decision trees, and neural networks are some of the tools that will be used.
The top teams will present their work in Washington, D.C., even at the White House, and could win a certificate of achievement, Cloud credits, or a $10,000 check.
State champions will be chosen in March, and national champions in June.
“The Presidential AI Challenge marks our first step in equipping every child with the knowledge base and tools to utilize this emerging technology,” Trump said.
“But this is only the beginning. It is essential that every member of our academic community, including our great educators, administrators, and students rise to this historic challenge with ongoing curiosity, perseverance, and ingenuity.”
Her leadership of the challenge fits right in with her "Be Best" initiative from her husband's first term, which encouraged and empowered youth to educate themselves and make good choices for their future.
Her previous initiatives involved internet safety as part of their scope.
“It’s heartbreaking to witness young teens, especially girls, grappling with the overwhelming challenges posed by malicious online content, like deepfakes,” she told a Capitol Hill roundtable in March to promote passage of the Take It Down Act.
“We must prioritize their well-being by equipping them with the support and tools necessary to navigate this hostile digital landscape.”
During a two-day interview with Deputy U.S. Attorney Todd Blanche, convicted Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell said that she never observed former President Bill Clinton getting a massage on Epstein's plane.
“Do you know whether, for example, President Clinton ever received a massage?” Blanche asked Maxwell.
“I don’t believe he did,” Maxwell said, after which Blanche asked why she didn't think so. “Well, because I don’t—so that’s a good question. The time that Epstein and President Clinton spent together, the only times I believe—well, obviously they traveled. There was that, you know, the plane, they went on the plane 26 times or whatever … So they spent time on the plane together, and I don’t believe there was ever a massage on the plane. So that would’ve been the only time that I think that President Clinton could have even received a massage. And he didn’t, because I was there.”
The interview seems to conflict with photos and a Daily Caller interview given by Epstein accuser Chauntae Davies, who said that she massaged Clinton's neck on a flight in 2002.
Davies said that Maxwell encouraged her to massage Clinton, but just to get some kinks out of his neck. There are photos of Davies massaging Clinton's neck while he smiles and laughs.
Another Epstein accuser, Virginia Giuffre, who died in April by suicide, said that Clinton visited Epstein's private island, where orgies were common, but she never personally observed him participating in any illicit activities there.
Clinton's spokesperson said after Maxwell's arrest in July 2020 that he had "never been to little St. James Island," where the alleged orgies took place.
“He’d not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade,” spokesman Angel Ureña told Newsweek. “Well before his terrible crimes came to light.”
Maxwell also threw cold water on the narrative that President Donald Trump was refusing to release the Epstein files publicly because he was named as a wrongdoer in them.
“I actually never saw the President in any type of massage setting. I never witnessed the President in any inappropriate setting in any way. The President was never inappropriate with anybody,” she said.
“In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects," she added.
She also said that she didn't have knowledge of Trump giving Epstein a lewd birthday card, a narrative which was leaked to the press but has been denied by Trump.
Maxwell ostensibly offered the in-depth interview in an effort to receive a shortened jail sentence as Epstein's accomplice. She is serving 20 years for helping him recruit underage girls and women that he allegedly trafficked for the orgies on his island.
The public has been clamoring for the release of all the Epstein files since Trump took office, but so far that has not happened.
Peter Navarro is calling for an investigation into FBI agents who targeted him and President Donald Trump with political investigations.
Navarro specifically called for an investigation into Walter Giardina, an agent who was recently fired by FBI Director Kash Patel.
Navarro told Breitbart News, "The FBI and the DOJ went after Donald John Trump, dating back from 2016 all the way to President Trump being elected in November of 2024."
It was the Obama administration that worked with Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign to launch the Russian collusion hoax, and Obama's FBI did much of the heavy lifting in the campaign to crush Trump's presidential run.
While Patel has been purging the FBI of those political actors, it's clear that simply firing these people isn't enough. Navarro, along with many Trump supporters, want criminal consequences for the blatant political corruption of the past decade.
Navarro singled out Giardina for his role in the Russian collusion hoax saying, "So the Giardina story starts in 2016 with the Christopher Steele dossier. That was the dossier. It was totally fake. It was presented as an intelligence report, paid for by Hillary Clinton, and the whole purpose of that was to create a Russia, Russia, Russia hoax."
The Steele dossier was the subject of intense scrutiny for years, as it was the basis of the allegations against Trump. We now know that it was fraudulent and paid for by the Clinton campaign, and Obama's FBI accepted the dossier without investigating it.
Navarro continued by explaining, "And once that was done, that set in motion the whole ball of wax. It set in motion Crossfire Hurricane operation by the FBI and DOJ to get Trump. That, in turn, morphed into the Mueller report."
Giardina, as one of the chief architects of the corrupt investigation against Trump, must pay the price or there will be no deterent for political ideologues in the future to weild the power of the justice system for poltiical purposes.
Navarro pointed this out by saying, "The left’s trying to make him a martyr. … This son of a bitch is not a martyr. He’s an insurrectionist, in my view, and he committed treason against his country by trying to in different operations — either interfere with the 2016 and 2020 elections, or overthrow Donald Trump."
Democrats have screeched about every act that the Trump administration has taken against those who subverted the justice system to attack Donald Trump in 2016, 2020, and 2024.
Trump and the American people deserve justice, and maybe a bit of revenge, for the decade of chaos that leftists like Giardina caused.
Navarro finished off his comments by saying, "[Giardina] didn’t give a shit about perp-walking my fiancée. He didn’t care when Jeff Clark’s home got raided and his family got terrorized. He didn’t care when Mar-a-Lago got raided and they went through Melania’s closets. This is a man who has tried to, in my judgment, overthrow the government of the United States, using the powers of the FBI in an abusive way."
Democrats had no issues when the power of the FBI was being used to target their political opponents, but now the shoe is on the other foot.
Ghislaine Maxwell, the right-hand woman of the late billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, is disputing the claim that Epstein died by suicide.
According to newly released interview transcripts, Maxwell was adamant that Epstein didn't kill himself, echoing a sentiment that has reigned supreme ever since Epstein's suspicious death in a prison cell that was labeled a suicide.
The hundreds of pages of redacted transcripts and handful of audio clips released on Friday come after months of demands from both conservative and liberal voters who want transparency on Epstein's death.
Epstein was too powerful and too well-connected, and it was expected that his testimony in his sex trafficking trial would likely implicate many extremely powerful individuals in his horrific crimes.
When Epstein died of "suicide" in a prison cell, while the prison's camera system was conveniently down for maintenance, it created a wave of outrage. Now the Trump administration is doing its best to be transparent, and Maxwell's interview transcripts are a big step in accomplishing that goal.
Maxwell is the key to uncovering the truth about Epstein's sex trafficking network that reportedly serviced the rich and powerful for decades.
While Maxwell herself is no doubt a monster who is complicit in Epstein's crimes, her testimony and statements are invaluable for uncovering the truth and even exposing some of Epstein's affluent and powerful clients.
Epstein was connected to every high-profile figure, from Donald Trump, who was New York's biggest real estate tycoon, to former President Bill Clinton, who spent a significant amount of time on Epstein's private jets and island resorts.
Many leftists claim that Trump was likely involved in Epstein's criminal enterprises, but Maxwell refuted those claims, and this is supported by Trump's public falling out with Epstein over twenty years ago.
Furthermore, there was no chance that there was dirt on Trump related to Epstein that the previous administration wouldn't have used. If there was evidence that Trump was a participant in Epstein's crimes, it would have been rolled out by Biden's presidential campaign.
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking a minor to Epstein and other sex crimes, which likely constitute a fraction of her crimes. However, if the Trump administration can continue to get her to talk, it's likely that more significant information will come out.
There are rumors that Maxwell could be angling for a pardon from Trump, but it's likely that Maxwell would have to trade truly monumental information in order to land a pardon, considering her extensive crimes against children.
Maxwell's attorney suggested that she would be willing to testify in front of Congress if Trump agreed to give her clemency. Whether Trump would be willing to grant that privilege depends on how many names Maxwell can give up.
This situation is an ongoing story to keep a close eye on. For the first time in years, there is a real chance that Americans will get justice, and the rich and powerful might actually face consequences after decades of immunity.
A former FBI agent speculated on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show that those who orchestrated the "Russiagate" scandal against President Donald Trump in 2016 could face subversion or racketeering charges if prosecutors were able to build a case against them.
Jonathan Gilliam, also a former Navy Seal, said, "I think also what we have to start looking at is things like subversion. You know, subversion, like treason and insurrection...these are all criminal actions that there's law for."
Memos that were declassified this week showed that James Comey personally authorized the leaking of classified information to the media in 2016 just before the election, and that prosecutors knew this but declined to bring charges against him.
ex-FBI general counsel James Baker and ex-Comey chief of staff James Rybicki provided the information about Comey to federal prosecutors, but memos showing this were redacted until Attorney General Pam Bondi unredacted them this week.
"When you look at those types of crimes...okay, maybe they leaked this information, but was their motive and intent to subvert the government of the United States, or a standing president, or a president that was coming into office?" Gilliam said. "If that's the case, then the statute of limitations goes out the door."
Subversion refers to actions that undermine a government or political system.
Charging government officials who clearly tried their best to destroy Trump's credibility and reputation both before and after he won the 2016 presidential election with subversion would be a novel way to bring them to justice.
If it works, it would most likely discourage other government officials from using similar tactics in an attempt to bring down their opponents.
Another tactic that Gilliam thinks could work isn't novel, and has already been tried against Trump: a racketeering charge against those who conspired to put forth the false Russiagate narrative.
"I believe it's important for them to go forward on a RICO case, because they link all of these individuals, and they can show whether the statute of limitations for those particular crimes have gone," Gilliam said. "Let's say they've passed, but they can show that two or more people were involved in these crimes for the purpose of furthering their criminal enterprise. That's a RICO charge."
RICO charges are a way to get around the statute of limitations, but is that the smartest way to go?
It might be difficult to prove RICO charges, in the same way it was for prosecutors who were shut down against Trump for the same charges.
Comey could also face perjury charges, since he testified to Congress that he had never authorized any leaks within the apartment and was not a source for the media himself.
House member Tim Burchett (R-TN) reacted to the documents, saying, "I have to talk to an attorney about what the definition of treason is, but at the very least it's collusion. I think a felony was committed. I think that the cover-up is, in this case, maybe even worse than the crime, because you got to ask yourself, whatever, what else were they covering up?"
