President Joe Biden's immigration policies were not only disastrous but also extremely dangerous to the American public, and even though President Donald Trump is correcting the situation, the residual effects are still apparent.

According to Fox News, a suspected Tren de Aragua gang member from Venezuela was recently released on probation in Chicago, where he's now free to commit crimes and terrorize U.S. citizens.

Pedro Colmenares, a 33-year-old gang member and illegal immigrant, was released on probation even though he has a domestic violence charge on his record, clearly indicating he's not afraid to commit acts of violence.

He was previously ordered to be deported in 2022.

What's going on?

An immigration judge ordered his deportation at the time, but like many other illegals do to stall the situation, he filed an appeal.

While the appeal was processing, he ended up in Chicago, where he ultimately ended up back on the radar of federal law enforcement officials after he was hit with a weapons charge.

The weapons charge, which was filed in Cook County, triggered ICE detainer issued by the Department of Homeland Security. However, because of the "sanctuary" status of the county, he avoided detainment and deportation.

Not surprisingly, the illegal alien ended up in the custody of law enforcement once again, as Fox News noted:

Colmenares was taken into custody once again this week for three days and was questioned by Chicago Police about his suspected involvement in the shooting death of a 25-year-old Hispanic man last September.

Police noted that there was probable cause justifying taking him in, but ultimately the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office declined to pursue the case, citing "uncooperative witnesses."

Fox News added:

Colmenares is facing charges in a shocking kidnapping and sexual assault of his former girlfriend last October in Chicago. He is charged with domestic battery with bodily harm for allegedly pulling up in a car to the 27-year-old Hispanic woman and telling her to get in "or I’ll shoot you."

Social media reaction

Users across social media reacted to the news of the illegal alien being set free on probation.

"If this monster harms anyone else, then all who were involved in his release should be brought up on charges of aiding and abetting criminals!" one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "This is how Chicago rolls. You see, it's run by criminals so this guy has special cred. Pedro is the ideal democrat minion, except that he keeps a little too high a profile."

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) has overtaken the fashion media world as First Lady Melania Trump doesn't appear to have a spot on the cover of Vogue magazine anytime soon.

According to the Daily Mail, those in charge of the magazine -- namely Anna ‘Nuclear’ Wintour -- is not interested in featuring the first lady on the cover, which is essentially customary.

Wintour has such a severe case of TDS that she's unwilling to put politics aside and only offered Melania a cover shot under very specific circumstances.

Vogue and Wintour were in the headlines earlier this month after they slammed the first lady's official White House photo, which sparked major backlash as a result.

What are the conditions?

Insiders to Wintour's TDS-stricken mind revealed that Melania would made the cover of the magazine only if certain things happened, such as hinting at divorcing her husband.

"Something extraordinary would have to happen. If she was going to leave Donald - if there was a hint of divorce - Anna would be first in line for an interview," one of the insiders reportedly said.

Not surprisingly, every other first lady has been given a Vogue cover shot, as the Daily Mail noted:

The storied title has bestowed this privilege on past Democrat First Ladies from Jackie Kennedy to Michelle Obama while Republicans Laura Bush and Nancy Reagan were each afforded an inside spread.

Apparently, the entire Vogue office is full of triggered liberals who were so blinded and out of touch with reality that they actually cried in shock and disbelief when Trump won again.

"Conde Nast had been in such a liberal democratic bubble that they didn’t see it coming; the whole team were in shock in the US," one source said.

They added, "The younger team members at Conde Nast were in tears on the day of the election. There had to be special meetings and counselling arranged for them in the offices. It was really weird. Like come on guys, did you not see this coming?"

Social media reacts

Plenty of social media users weighed in on the snubbing of Melania Trump.

"And how many times did they put Michelle Obama on the cover? Yikes." one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "Vogue is just another woke garbage magazine."

Just weeks after she battled the devastating Eaton Fire, a California fire captain has been killed.

Police are still searching for the killer of Cal Fire Captain Rebecca Marodi, 49, after she was found with multiple stab wounds in her home on the evening of February 17.

First responders did all they could, but Marodi succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suspect not yet identified

Police believe Marodi was killed by somebody close to her, but have not yet named a suspect.

"Homicide detectives are actively working to contact persons of interest, identify a suspect, and locate and apprehend them as quickly as possible," sheriff's officials said.

"Investigators suspect that the victim knew the perpetrator and are treating this case as a potential domestic violence incident," the San Diego Sheriff's Office said. "Currently, the motivation and circumstances surrounding the homicide remain unclear, and detectives are diligently gathering more information to establish the facts of the case."

Marodi had served more than 30 years with Cal Fire and was planning to retire in 2025.

Cal Fire released a statement about her death:

"Her passing is a profound loss to her family, friends and all who had the privilege of working alongside her. Beyond her operational assignments, Captain Marodi was deeply involved in Peer Support and Hazmat, always prioritizing the well-being of her colleagues. Her legacy of mentorship, service and dedication will be felt for years to come."

Marodi's legacy

Marodi was one of thousands of firefighters who battled against the deadly Eaton Fire in January of 2025. She was featured in social media posts that showed crews battling the blaze and shared videos of herself putting out the flames.

Cal Fire Battallion Chief Paul Selegue said Marodi was somebody everyone could aspire to be like:

"She was never afraid to get involved with a person who needed help and she was always willing to extend herself to assist them," he said.

Cal Fire Riverside County public information officer John Clingingsmith called Marodi a "bright light in the community."

"She was always very positive," Clingingsmith said. "'Always had a smile on her face. It didn't matter what the situation was."

"I think that's one of the things everybody has been talking about, was her smile and her laugh, and just the fact that she was always there," he added.

Please pray for Marodi and her family. Hopefully, her killer will be brought to justice soon.

President Trump's ex-wife, Marla Maples, has joined his circle of supporters at Mar-A-Lago as First Lady Melania Trump appears to retreat from the spotlight.

Divorced since 1999, Trump and Maples remain tied through their daughter, Tiffany Trump, and by all appearances, Trump maintains an amicable friendship with his former spouse, who has become a strong advocate for his MAGA agenda.

Trump's ex-wife reemerges

The couple met in 1985 at a charity tennis match, while Trump was still married to his first wife, Ivana Trump.

Donald Trump and Maples, a former model, married in 1993 after bringing Tiffany into the world. They divorced six years later.

In 2022, they reconnected at the rehearsal dinner for Tiffany's marriage to Michael Boulos. A group picture at the time showed Trump, Maples, and Melania Trump all smiling together.

Maples became a vocal supporter of Trump's re-election campaign last year, defending him against charges of sexually assaulting a woman.

“I do know my daughter’s father well enough to know that he’s never had to push himself on another person. He’s always had women throw themselves on him instead,” Maples said. “I don’t believe there was a crime done.”

A faithful Christian, Maples shared a prayer after the assassination attempt on her ex-husband in Butler, Pennsylvania.

"Those who want to stop him are in fear of the power of God. May Christ create an opening in the hearts of those who want to stop the Light and the souls of humanity," she wrote at the time.

Health activist

On January 20th, Maples joined her daughter Tiffany at President Trump's inauguration at the Capitol Rotunda, writing, “Here comes the light" in a celebratory post.

The president's amazing political comeback has been a personal victory for Maples, a passionate health activist and co-founder of the group Global Wellness Fund.

A strong supporter of Robert F. Kennedy and his Make America Healthy Again, or MAHA, movement, Maples returned to the Capitol in February to support his nomination to join Trump's Cabinet.

Kennedy was grilled over his views on vaccines by the Senate but ultimately won confirmation to be President Trump's HHS Secretary.

“So grateful that our hearts and souls, and our prayers have come together for a time like this!” Maples wrote after his confirmation.

Compared to Maples, Trump's reclusive wife Melania has kept a relatively low profile since returning to the White House. Her official X account has just a handful of posts since January 20.

Friends of the Obamas are worried about having to "pick sides" as rumors of divorce keep brewing.

The political couple's Hollywood friends are in "wait and see" mode, insiders told RadarOnline, as speculation about their marriage reaches a "fever pitch."

Obamas' friends "nervous"

Of course, both Barack and Michelle are known to have big egos, and a divorce between them could quickly turn into a bruising political war.

Their reluctance to publicly confront concerns about their marriage has only added to anxiety in their Hollywood social circle.

"It's making their famous friends in Hollywood nervous," one of RadarOnline's sources said.

Barack's actor friends include George Clooney, who famously pressured Joe Biden to end his re-election bid last year, while Michelle is close with Ellen DeGeneres.

"The part that gets tricky is if the hypothetical split becomes acrimonious," RadarOnline's source said.

"Nobody wants to get on either of the Obamas' enemies list – but you can't rule out the possibility of that happening."

“All of their Hollywood pals are very much in wait-and-see mode.”

Speculation running rampant

While the Obamas normally put on a united front, Michelle Obama notably dodged President Jimmy Carter's state funeral in January. She also skipped President Trump's inauguration days later.

"Former President Barack Obama is confirmed to attend the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies. Former First Lady Michelle Obama will not attend the upcoming inauguration," her office said at the time.

Obama's absence from such high-profile events set tongues wagging - and Barack Obama's apparent efforts at damage control have only made things worse.

The former president shared an awkward post on his wife's birthday that showed the couple holding hands on opposite sides of a dining table, fueling more gossip about their relationship status.

President Obama captioned the photo with a gushing message, as his wife replied succinctly, “Love you, honey!"

Many of Michelle Obama's recent social media posts have focused on promoting her personal brand, including her new self-help book.

However, she did share a Valentine's Day message in response to another loving note from her husband last week.

“If there’s one person I can always count on, it’s you, @BarackObama. You’re my rock. Always have been. Always will be. Happy Valentine’s Day, honey!” she wrote.

The Trump administration has made its first appeal to the Supreme Court, as a standoff escalates between the president and activist judges trying to thwart his agenda.

The emergency motion, filed Monday, asks the highest court in the land to allow Trump to fire a Biden-appointed executive branch official.

“Until now, as far as we are aware,” the administration wrote, “no court in American history has wielded an injunction to force the President to retain an agency head whom the President believes should not be entrusted with executive power and to prevent the President from relying on his preferred replacement.”

The case is an important test of where the Supreme Court may fall in Trump's battle with the federal courts, which have blocked several of his executive orders in sweeping fashion.

Trump's Supreme Cout appeal

Last week, a district court judge appointed by Barack Obama issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) commanding Trump to reinstate Hampton Dellinger, head of the Office of Special Counsel, for at least two weeks.

In an emergency application to the Supreme Court, the administration argued Trump engaged in an "uncontroversial exercise of his Article II powers" by firing Dellinger, a Biden appointee. The administration called the court's injunction an "unprecedented assault" on the Constitution's separation of powers.

"This court should not allow lower courts to seize executive power by dictating to the president how long he must continue employing an agency head against his will," Sarah M Harris, acting solicitor general, wrote.

"Unheard of"

A divided panel of the D.C. appeals court denied Trump's appeal on Saturday in a 2-1 vote, with two Biden judges, Florence Pan and Michelle Childs, rejecting the claim on procedural grounds.

They said the president could afford to wait two weeks for a preliminary hearing, but Trump appointee Gregory Katsas called the injunction "virtually unheard of" and said an exception to ordinary procedure is warranted by the circumstances.

“The extraordinary character of the order at issue here — which directs the President to recognize and work with an agency head whom he has already removed — warrants immediate appellate review,” Katsas wrote.

Stopping the judicial coup

The Trump administration says the president has "unrestricted" power to fire principal officers such as Dellinger, who was nominated by Biden and confirmed by the Senate. While there are narrow exceptions to the president's power to remove executive officials, they do not apply in this case, the Trump administration said.

Despite being part of the judicial branch themselves, the Supreme Court's conservatives may frown upon lower courts gumming up the Trump administration with universal injunctions. The Supreme Court upheld broad presidential immunity last year, and some of the conservative justices have criticized the 1935 precedent Humphrey's Executor, which places limits on who the president can fire.

Since TROs are not typically appealable, Trump has had myriad of his presidential powers taken from him with no chance of immediate relief, the administration said.

"The United States thus respectfully requests that this Court vacate the district court’s order and end the practice whereby courts seize Article II powers for two weeks, yet disclaim the availability of any appellate review in the meantime," the administration wrote.

President Trump has nominated a conservative Florida judge to serve as a federal prosecutor in the state - as the president pursues a sweeping overhaul of the "weaponized" Justice Department.

The president picked Florida state judge Jason Reding Quiñones to oversee the Southern District of Florida, which covers Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach.

Trump picks prosecutor

It's routine for new presidents to replace U.S. attorneys appointed by their predecessors. Trump said Quiñones would help the president's mission to "make America safe again" as Trump pushes the DOJ to take a tough stance on crime and illegal immigration.

Currently, Quinones is a state court trial judge overseeing domestic violence cases. He also has experience working in the Southern District as an assistant U.S. attorney, as well as experience in the National Security Division at the Justice Department as a military and federal prosecutor, according to the Federalist Society.

The former Air Force Judge Advocate (JAG) continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. In a post on X, Trump highlighted Quiñones' experience as a judge and prosecutor.

"It is my honor to nominate Judge Jason Reding Quiñones as the next United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. A former Federal prosecutor and Justice Department National Security Official, Judge Reding Quiñones currently serves as a highly respected State Trial Judge in Miami, and a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve," Trump wrote.

"As the next U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Judge Reding Quiñones will restore Law and Order, prosecute violent crimes and, MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN. Congratulations Jason!"

Ending weaponization

Trump's pick was lauded by prominent conservative lawyer Mike Davis, founder of the Article III project.

Davis said Quiñones would "end the weaponization of law enforcement" and refocus the Southern District on stopping "real crimes that affect real Americans--like violent crimes and migrant crimes."

Quiñones moderated a Federalist Society panel discussion on "lawfare" earlier this month.

Under Biden, the DOJ led a pair of unprecedented prosecutions into Trump, Biden's chief political rival. One of the since-dropped cases, which involved classified documents, was brought against Trump in Florida's Southern District by Special Counsel Jack Smith.

Hayden O’Byrne, Trump's interim U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of Florida since January, moved to drop the criminal charges against Trump's co-defendants after Smith resigned and transferred the case to the U.S. Attorney's office. A federal court last week granted O'Byrne's request to dismiss the charges against Trump aide Walt Nauta and former Mar-a-Lago property manager Carlos de Oliveira.

Meanwhile, the DOJ has fired career prosecutors based in Miami who assisted on Smith's documents case - part of a wider purge of DOJ officials who targeted Trump and his supporters.

“You played a significant role in prosecuting President Trump,” acting attorney general letter James McHenry wrote in a letter. “The proper functioning of government critically depends on the trust superior officials place in their subordinates. Given your significant role in prosecuting the president, I do not believe that the leadership of the department can trust you to assist in implementing the president’s agenda faithfully.”

Understandably, Elon Musk has been in the news more so than normal over the past few months as his work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and President Donald Trump's administration continues to send shockwaves through Washington D.C.

And while he probably doesn't mind the media coverage for that part of his life, a bombshell report over the weekend revealed that a conservative influencer admitted that she had a fling with Musk and actually delivered his child five months ago.

According to the New York Post, Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, in what was described as a "shocking" public post on social media, revealed that she gave birth to what would be Musk's 13th child.

Reporters have reached out to Musk for comment, but haven't received anything back at this point.

What's going on?

St. Clair shocked the social media world with her announcement, which she made on her X account.

Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father," she wrote.

She added, "I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause."

Though it's unlikely to be honored, St. Clair made a request to the media to avoid "invasive reporting" and asked that the child's privacy be respected at this time.

"I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting," she wrote.

Social media reaction

Needless to say, her post sparked a firestorm of feedback across social media.

"The whole world is so lucky you’ve brought life into the world. And the whole world has got you and your family’s back," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "God bless you and your family. Would be nice if legacy media did actual reporting on important issues instead of intruding on peoples’ personal lives and seemingly intentionally putting children in danger. Unfortunate we live in a world where that’s the reality. Keep fighting."

It'll be interesting to see if the media honors the request.

Fox News viewers were likely stunned -- in a good way -- to see one of President Donald Trump's top guys sitting down with New York City Mayor Eric Adams to discuss a new venture to crack down on the illegal immigrant problem plaguing the city.

According to the Daily Mail, during a recent "Fox & Friends" interview, border czar Tom Homan and Adams announced new policy objectives that will allow state and federal authorities to crack down on illegal immigration.

Adams was more than receptive to Homan's help in aiding the city in getting its illegal immigration crisis under control once and for all.

One of the bombshell announcements to come out of the interview is that Riker's Island prison will reopen its ICE office, making it easier for federal authorities to easily take in criminal illegal aliens.

What was said?

Homan was as honest as he could possibly be when talking about Mayor Adams, admitting that he called him out, publicly, many times over public safety issues.

"I've been on this network for four years, and I've called the mayor out many times for not stepping up when it comes to public safety threats," Homan began the joint interview.

"But I tell you, when I sat down with him, I saw the cop in him, and he really does want to do the right thing."

The Daily Mail added:

Adams welcomed Homan's help, claiming he has tried to fight the city's immigration-related woes for years, adding 'we need to go after these dangerous people in our streets, and now I have someone that understands that narrative, and we are fighting together to get it done.'

"As I sat down with Tom earlier, I said that we're going to look at all the legalese," Adams said of the Riker's Island situation.

He added, "I'm able to do an executive order to put them back on Rikers Island where they should be with part of our criminal justice apparatus."

New capabilities

Working together and especially opening the ICE office at the prison will allow for quicker intel sharing and better agency cooperation.

"Not only will we get the bad guys when they hit the street, the intelligence of how TDA operates, where they're operating, all this intelligence they gather at Rikers we'll have access to," Homan said.

It'll be interesting to see what this new partnership means for the city of New York.

As President Trump seeks to finally end the government's secrecy surrounding President John F. Kennedy's assassination, the Republican lawmaker tasked with uncovering the truth has shared a shocking claim.

Florida Republican Anna Paulina Luna, the head of Trump's new task force on government secrets, endorsed the theory that multiple gunmen were involved in the horrific murder.

"I believe that there were two shooters, and we should be finding more information as we are able to," she said.

New JFK developments

Although decades have gone by since the assassination, the federal government has long been reluctant to share all of the records it has, fueling speculation of a cover-up.

In order to bring transparency to this pivotal event, President Trump signed an executive order to declassify all of the remaining files, while also ordering a full declassification of the assassinations of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr.

Within days of Trump's command, the FBI made the stunning discovery of 2,400 additional, previously unidentified files on JFK's murder.

The availability of new information has led to anticipation that one of the greatest mysteries in American history could finally be solved.

The assassination of JFK

Decades after the assassination, most Americans remain doubtful that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. Some of the most common conspiracy theories point to the involvement of the CIA, the mob, or Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

Kennedy was shot in the head while passing through downtown Dallas, Texas in his motorcade on November 22, 1963. The shocking event was unwittingly captured on a home video camera by a bystander.

After a ten-month investigation, the Warren Commission concluded that 24-year-old Oswald shot Kennedy twice from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository as Kennedy passed by through Dealey Plaza.

Oswald, a communist sympathizer who spent time living in the Soviet Union, denied killing JFK and claimed he was a scapegoat. Two days after the assassination, Oswald was shot dead on live TV by Texas nightclub owner Jack Ruby.

One of the most heavily debated questions concerns the number of shots that struck Kennedy. Conspiracy theorists have often rejected the Warren Commission's conclusions about the bullet that exited Kennedy's throat - labeled the "magic bullet" because of its supposedly improbable flight path - to suggest multiple shooters were involved.

According to Luna, Trump's task force will hold its first hearing in March. She said witnesses could include people who were in the operating room as Kennedy died.

"In previous investigations, they didn't have access to the information that we are going to have access to, and so that's a big deal, especially if you're looking at what truly happened with JFK," Luna said.
