In the far-left state of Colorado, where the governor is homosexual, Democrats control not just the governor's office but both houses of the legislature and the state Supreme Court, which wildly tried to bar President Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential ballot, and where lawmakers are intent on destroying the parental rights of those who don't endorse transgenderism, one school district has thrown a grenade into the political ideology.

Officials there have decided to follow the science, and that boys are boys and girls are girls.

A report at Complete Colorado confirms that officials in Falcon 49 School District, near Colorado Springs, have announced new athlete rules that follow Trump's executive orders regarding transgenderism.

It states, "there are inherent differences between boys and girls, meaning biological males and biological females," and provides that the "classification of sports team participation by biological sex is therefore necessary to preserve and promote equal opportunity for District 49's female athletes."

The Complete Colorado report said the policy is called "Preserving Fairness and Safety in Sports," and confirms, "Allowing boys to compete in girls' sports is part of a broader attempt to debase the entire category of 'woman' and transform laws intended to protect sex-based opportunities into laws that hurt girls by undermining their identity, are inherently unfair, and denigrating to their rights."

The Colorado High School Activities Association's own bylaws allow for the fiction that boys who say they are girls should be allowed to participate with girls. And shower with them.

But a spokeswoman said the district's decision won't impact the ability of its teams to compete.

Spokeswoman Amanda McClure said the state organization recognizes "the authority of local schools and districts to make decisions in accordance with their own policies and community values."

The report said, bluntly, the district has decided, that being male or female is based "solely on the individual's reproductive biology and genetics at birth," and further, "athletic teams in the district will be divided into three categories: boys, girls or co-ed, and stipulates that boys cannot compete on girls' teams, girls cannot compete on boys' teams, locker rooms are not interchangeable and hotel rooms will not commingle biological boys with biological girls."

The district's decision, the report said, was based on the fact it could lose federal funding if it did not take the action.

Trump, in February, confirmed, "It is the policy of the United States to rescind all funds from educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities, which results in the endangerment, humiliation, and silencing of women and girls and deprives them of privacy."

Colorado's state laws require adherence to the fiction of transgenderism, and the district currently has pending a lawsuit over those beliefs.

The report said the Falcon district "appears to be the first to unilaterally develop transgender athlete regulations in adherence to recent presidential executive orders."

Colorado's political leadership is so extreme that one legislative member likened parents who don't support transgenderism to the KKK, and Democrats in the legislature have been caught on video publicly ridiculing Christianity, including one who claimed that he may appear on Judgment Day before a "trans Jesus."

The economic earthquake that is known as President Donald Trump on Monday hit the pharmaceutical industry worldwide, and the end result will be that Americans soon will be paying the same for drugs as the best deal being offered to any customers worldwide.

No longer will Americans be paying four, five or even 10 times the price for the same drug that others around the world pay, he said.

It's coming through an executive order and Trump plans for Congress to put it into the law.

It essentially will look at the best price paid for a drug by any customers around the world, and will make that same drug available at that same price to Americans.

For decades, Americans actually have been paying for literally all of the development, research and other costs of drugs.

Trump cited a friend who had pointed out that his treatment was costing him $88 while he was in London. But in New York, the same prescription cost him $1,300.

"We've been subsidizing countries around the world," Trump said. He said the drug pricing now will have "fairness" for Americans.

He said some drug prices would be dropping almost immediately. At the close of an hour-long news conference, Trump signed the order.

The fairness comes after the Joe Biden administration left Americans paying some 70% higher prescription costs than they were paying in 2000.

Pharmaceutical companies have been getting two-thirds of their profits from Americans, which make up 4% of the world's population.

Those companies should have no great loss, as the prices that are reduced for Americans will be made up by slightly higher prices for others around the globe.

"Basically what we're doing is equalizing … we're all going to pay the same," Trump said. "Whoever is paying the lowest price, that's the price we're going to get."

He continued, "Democrats could have done this a long time ago. They have fought like hell for the drug companies."

Trump noted he'd begun addressing drug prices during his first term.

"Joe Biden without any knowledge of what he was doing terminated the policy. Then he negotiated a new system… five of the drugs he negotiated now are much more expensive than when he got involved."

HHS chief Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pointed out this was a goal he's held for years.

"This is an extraordinary day," he said. "This was an issue people talked about … but wouldn't do anything."

He said the topic was "radioactive," as there are many more pharmaceutical industry lobbyists in Washington than members of Congress.

He called Trump a "man of his word,"

"There has never been a president more willing to stand up to the oligarchs than Donald Trump."

Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, said, "This is the most powerful executive order on pharmaceutical prices in our nation. It only happened because we have a president still to stand up…"

At that time, he said, on social media, "For many years the World has wondered why Prescription Drugs and Pharmaceuticals in the United States States of America were SO MUCH HIGHER IN PRICE THAN THEY WERE IN ANY OTHER NATION, SOMETIMES BEING FIVE TO TEN TIMES MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE SAME DRUG, MANUFACTURED IN THE EXACT SAME LABORATORY OR PLANT, BY THE SAME COMPANY???" Trump began, having made people wait nearly four hours for his post.

"It was always difficult to explain and very embarrassing because, in fact, there was no correct or rightful answer. The Pharmaceutical/Drug Companies would say, for years, that it was Research and Development Costs, and that all of these costs were, and would be, for no reason whatsoever, borne by the 'suckers' of America, ALONE.

Joe Biden's presidential legacy undoubtedly will include his wild and extreme advocacy for abortion for all.

And his insistence on transgenderism, including growth-stunting chemicals and body-mutilating surgeries even for children.

But another component that has appeared is the threat to the safety of American air travelers left behind by his allegiance to the DEI ideology.

That, "diversity, equity and inclusion," belief insists that people must be hired based on their race, sex, sexual orientation, even minority status, rather than their qualifications for the actual job.

In some positions that may not result in much of a threat, but in the position of air traffic controller, those who manage hundreds, even thousands, of aircraft including jetliners carrying hundreds of people each to keep them safe, it's a big deal.

Now Fox News is reporting the chief of the House Aviation Safety Caucus charges Joe Biden helped fuel a current threat in the industry because of his choice "to fund progressive diversity initiatives instead of modernizing the aging system."

Rep. Nick Langworthy, R-N.Y., explained in the report the Biden administration's key project, an infrastructure bill, was a "missed opportunities" to fund a revamp of the ATC system.

"That was before I came to Congress, but, you know, you had just mistaken priorities in that, all this DEI policy, DEI staffing, that all got baked into the cake," Langworth explained. "They could have taken that money and spent it on real modernization of what is critical infrastructure in this country."

There recently have been several crashes in the airline industry. Dozens of lives have been lost. One happened in Washington where a helicopter was at the wrong altitude and whose pilot on a training outing declined to follow ATC instructions to change course urgently, resulting in a fiery collision with a jetliner approaching a runway.

Just this week there was an outage at Newark Liberty International Airport that apparently blacked out air traffic control screens for a time.

The report said, "Langworthy clarified that he does not believe DEI policies 'necessarily' directly hit ATC. 'It's what they spent the money [on]. I mean, you know, there's infrastructure projects, ones in my backyard, where they want to bury and tunnel over our main artery in the town because it's going to reunite a community somehow,' he said."

Democrats continue to blame the administration of President Donald Trump for the condition of the ATC industry, which was under Biden's control for years, and under Trump's direction for just the last few weeks.

Langworthy continued, "Aviation is infrastructure. It's transportation. It should have been spent then. Instead, they did all this social engineering with money and didn't focus on what has been a glaring problem for the federal government for many years — modernizing our aviation infrastructure."

Langworthy said, "We should be promoting this to young people that want to look at career service in the government. And it comes with a very competitive salary. But it's a tough job with a lot of hours. And you know, there's always gonna be stress involved, but we have to prioritize it and not just take it for granted."

While federal transportation officials under Trump have confirmed plans to hire thousands of additional controllers, aviation expert Darin Gaub, a former Blackhawk helicopter pilot, confirms he knows qualified controllers who were refused jobs under the Biden administration because of the DEI agenda he had.

Political party has added 'incarceration' to the 'four stages of the confession'

Majority Democrats in the autocracy in the state of Washington now have declared open war on Christianity, and the Catholic Church has responded with a volley that includes its commitment to defy a new law.

At issue, according to a report from constitutional expert Jonathan Turley, who has not only testified before Congress on constitutional disputes, but represented members in court in those fights, is the state's decision to alter the confessional requirements of the church.

"The Democrats have added to the four stages of the confession. Examination, confession, absolution, and penance may now be followed by incarceration," he explained.

It's because Democrat lawmakers in the state have decided to require Catholic priests, and other ministers as well, to tattle to law enforcement about anything they hear in a confessional.

He explained the "blatantly unconstitutional" law was signed recently by Democrat Gov. Bob Ferguson after Democrats in the legislature created it. Its problem is that it eviscerates the right to the free exercise of religion.

"The state is moving to create an effective system of sacramental snitches and the Catholic Church is declaring 'enough.' It has announced that any priest who complies with the law will be promptly excommunicated," Turley noted.

The Democrats want to demand that any priest or minister who learns "of any 'reasonable' basis to believe that a child 'has suffered abuse or neglect,'" must call police.

The law applies to any "ordained minister, priest, rabbi, imam, elder, or similarly situated religious or spiritual leader of any church, religious denomination, religious body, spiritual community, or sect, or person performing official duties that are recognized as the duties of a member of the clergy," he explained.

Despite church law that absolutely forbids such tattling, the state now demands it.

Courts previously have ruled that's forbidden for states to require.

Under Washington state's ideologies, "The state would be using the church as an agent to compel confessions on the threat of damnation and then turn over the evidence to the police. Worse yet, if the priest does not give a type of ministerial Miranda, the confessant may not realize the danger. However, it is rather hard for a priest to say that a person must confess their sin while reminding them of the right to remain silent."

The Catholic church said, "Catholic clergy may not violate the seal of confession — or they will be excommunicated from the Church. All Catholics must know and be assured that their confessions remain sacred, secure, confidential and protected by the law of the Church."

Turley's comment? "The Democrats effectively declared war on religion, and particularly the Catholic faith, with this abusive law. The matter is now set for a showdown in the federal courts and, hopefully, an expedited process for judicial review and appeals."

He noted in the gospels, Jesus said, "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's."

"This is not one of those things to be rendered to the modern demigods of Olympia," he said.

U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Democrat elected to Congress by a Muslim-dominant district in urban Minneapolis-St. Paul, has sparked outrage a number of times for her anti-American comments.

She's also been involved in a long list of scandals.

And she recently was on film using obscene language in response to a reporter's question.

But now she's taking a full-scale scolding online for a clip of her comments from a few years ago, now resurfaced, demanding that the government needs to be "profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men."

The ultra-racist comment actually was, "I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country, because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country. And so if fear was the driving force of policies to keep America safe, Americans safe inside of this country, we should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men."

She was talking with Al-Jazeera about the threat of jihadis in America.

Vice President JD Vance wrote, "This isn't just sick; it's actually genocidal language. What a disgrace this person is."

"This is blatant racism," added GOP Sen. Mike Lee on social media. "Who condemns it?"

report at Fox News noted yet another scandal about her behavior just recently was when she told "Daily Caller News Foundation reporter Myles Morell to 'f*** off' after he asked her a question about fellow Democratic Party figures traveling to El Salvador to defend illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was deported to the country by the Trump administration."

Omar followed up on social media with another descent into the gutter, stating, "I said what I said. You and all your miserable trolls can f*** off."

The scandals, in fact, are just the latest in an encyclopedia of behavior by Omar that abuses Americans.

Others over recent years have included questions about her tax returns, her failed financial disclosures, how she gave 70% of her campaign expenditures to a firm run by her now-husband, how there were credible reports one of her multiple marriages was to her brother, ostensibly to give him legal status to remain in America, accusations she raised money for a food charity and then pocketed the dough, her demand that the government take over control of all hospitals, how she was accused of paying one ex-husband $250,000 for his silence, how she was named as an adulteress in divorce court, and more.

Significantly, she has made comments over the years about how she is working for the benefit of her native Somalia while in Congress, not for the benefit of Americans.

The resurfaced clip was posted online by conservative influencer accounts including Laura Loomer and LibsofTikTok with millions of impressions, sparked outrage from conservatives on social media, including from inside the White House, Fox reported.

"@ilhanMN never ceases to be an embarrassment for Minnesota," GOP Majority Whip Rep. Tom Emmer, who represents Minnesota's 6th Congressional District, said.

"There's never been a more anti-American member of Congress than Ilhan Omar," influencer Paul Szypula posted on X.

Online, a movement already was under way to push for her to be charged, convicted, and deported.

Here's her announcement of her allegiance to a country other than the United States.

'We're seeing young people actually come to us for conversations in the street'

The United Kingdom long has been on the cutting edge of leftist ideologies: Abortion, LGBT lifestyle choices, socialized medicine, and tolerance for most religious faiths.

Christianity was the exception to that, and in fact people have been arrested for thinking about their opposition to abortion in a zone set up to protect an abortion corporation.

But now, quite suddenly, evangelists who long have presented the story of the Bible to often mocking and heckling crowds are reporting something new.

It was described by Scott McNamara, who founded the King's Army group that marched near Buckingham Palace recently to proclaim Jesus is Lord over England.

"We heard this shock wave. It was like someone described it like a crack in the spirit. And after that, we did this march outside Buckingham Palace and a couple of other things, and it's been incredible. Every day we're getting people enlisted to be part of King's Army, like 20 to 30, enlist per week, people reaching out from all over England saying, I want to be part of this movement," McNamara said in an interview with CBN.

The report noted the United Kingdom's reputation as "a tough place to reach people with the gospel."

Stephen Johnson, who has been ministering in the streets of London for a decade, told CBN he's never seen people more willing to hear about the Bible.

"I started an outreach initiative in my home area of London, and the first time we did it, a couple of people just walked into the church afterwards, just wanting to talk. That doesn't really happen in England. We've just seen this kind of thing happen again and again, and something has shifted in people's hearts," he said in the interview.

Johnson explained it has been "quite normal" for Christians to be "mocked and ridiculed and heckled."

But a change is evident.

"Now we're seeing young people actually come to us for conversations in the street and actually wanting serious conversations. And something has radically changed in people's hearts," Johnson told CBN.

Johnson added, "If you can turn up on the streets with a bunch of flyers, stop someone and say, 'What do you know about Jesus? Or are you interested in spiritual things?' Just start a conversation. It is not difficult. And for England of all places, that's a remarkable shift."

McNamara said a revival is coming.

"When the church wakes up, revival comes, and then there will be another, a great third awakening," he said.

Factory workers across China are responding to U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs program with what essentially amounts to rioting.

It's because the tariffs have cut so deeply into China's exports to the United States factories are being shut down without notice and workers laid off without pay.

report from Reuters documents that China's factory activity plunged "at the fastest pace in 16 months" in April.

Chinese officials repeatedly have claimed that their economy can withstand any shocks that may develop from Trump's tariffs, which are intended to equalize international trade.

As part of that move, Trump imposed a long list of tariffs on countries that export to the United States, with the intention of reaching fair trade agreements with them. Dozens of nations already have contacted the administration about just that, and several dozen have agreements in the works.

Reuters reported, "China's official purchasing managers' index (PMI) fell to 49.0 in April versus 50.5 in March, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the lowest reading since December 2023 and missing a median forecast of 49.8 in a Reuters poll."

The result "suggests that China's economy is coming under pressure as external demand cools," explained, Zichun Huang, who is the China economist for Capital Economics.

"Although the government is stepping up fiscal support, this is unlikely to fully offset the drag, and we expect the economy to expand just 3.5% this year."

The "export orders index" has plunged, too, the report said.

"Beijing has largely relied on exports to shore up the fragile economic recovery since the end of the pandemic and only began to take steps to boost domestic demand more earnestly late last year," the report said.

report from Daily Caller News Foundation said the results of Trump's tariffs have left "workers throughout China … flooding the streets in revolt."

"From the cramped streets of Sichuan in the southwest to the cold outskirts of Inner Mongolia in the northeast, furious workers are demanding back pay and protesting mass layoffs as factories shutter under pressure from Trump's tariffs," the report said.

Workers at a Shanghai LED plan were shouting at managers over unpaid wages and there was a "similar scene" at a sporting goods store in Dao County, the report said.

Some circumstances were getting extreme: "In the northeast city of Tongliao, construction workers climbed onto rooftops and threatened to jump if their wages were not paid."

Goldman Sachs estimated that up to 16 million Chinese jobs could be erased because of the pressure from the tariffs.

Trump's comment? "They were making from us a trillion dollars a year. They were ripping us off like nobody's ever ripped us off. They're not doing that anymore."

'It is vital to hold these Liars and Fraudsters accountable!'

President Donald Trump on Wednesday unleashed another scathing attack on deceptive news agencies, saying CBS News, its "60 Minutes" program, and the New York Times "have to pay a price" for "their likely unlawful behavior," as reports emerge that CBS and its parent company Paramount are caving to Trump's legal action against them.

Trump sued CBS, alleging the network deceptively edited its Oct. 7 interview with Kamala Harris to help the vice president sound better during the 2024 race for the White House. Now Paramount executives are reportedly nearing a deal with Trump to settle the claims, according to Mark Steffen at Trending Politics.

Steffen reported: "The offer, set to be discussed Wednesday in the first mediation between both camps, is a tacit acknowledgement of how desperate the entertainment company's upper echelon has become to end Trump's $20 billion lawsuit.
"During an April 18th meeting, Paramount allegedly outlined financial parameters for a potential settlement with the president, according to three people with knowledge of the discussions. The exact dollar amount is unclear, but reaching a consensus would pave the way for both sides to seek dismissal of the suit."

Trump said Wednesday on Truth Social: "The case we have against 60 Minutes, CBS, and Paramount is a true WINNER."

"They cheated and defrauded the American People at levels never seen before in the Political Arena. Kamala Harris, during Early Voting and, immediately before Election Day, was asked a question, and gave an answer, that was so bad and incompetent that it would have cost her many of the Votes that she ended up getting.
"It was a disastrous answer! 60 Minutes and its corporate parents, in order that this not have a negative impact on her, removed and deleted Kamala's entire answer, every word of it, and replaced it with a response that she gave later on to an entirely different question.

"The new answer was not good, but it didn't show Gross Incompetence like the one that was removed by 60 Minutes. In other words, 60 Minutes perpetrated a Giant FRAUD against the American People, the Federal Elections Commission, and the Federal Communications System."

Trump continued: "Despite all of the above, and Paramount's/CBS'/60 Minutes' admittance to this crime and, with other similar corrupt removals of answers to questions, the Failing New York Times, which is Fake News both in writing and polling, claims that 'people' said that the case is baseless.

"They don't mean that, they just have a non curable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, possibly to the point where the Times' interjection makes them liable for tortious interference, including in Elections, which we are intently studying. The bottom line is that what 60 Minutes and its corporate owners have committed is one of the most egregious illegalities in Broadcast History.

"Nothing like this, the illegal creation of an answer for a Presidential Candidate, has ever been done before, they have to pay a price for it, and the Times should also be on the hook for their likely unlawful behavior. It is vital to hold these Liars and Fraudsters accountable!"

As WorldNetDaily reported in October, CBS was named in a federal complaint for its decision to make Harris look coherent, as it was accused of "significant and intentional news distortion."

CBS News released a statement at the time, indicating: "Former President Donald Trump is accusing '60 Minutes' of deceitful editing of our Oct. 7 interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. That is false."

"'60 Minutes' gave an excerpt of our interview to 'Face the Nation' that used a longer section of her answer than that on 60 Minutes. Same question. Same answer. But a different portion of the response. When we edit any interview, whether a politician, an athlete, or movie star, we strive to be clear, accurate and on point. The portion of her answer on '60 Minutes' was more succinct, which allows time for other subjects in a wide ranging 21-minute-long segment."

Howard Kurtz, the former Washington Post media writer who left CNN to join Fox News in 2013, blasted "60 Minutes" as "blatantly unethical" for its "pathetic response."

"This is a pathetic response by '60 Minutes' after a week of silence," Kurtz told Martha MacCallum of Fox News.
"It basically says, 'Yeah, we did it. So what?' They talk about making Kamala Harris sound more succinct, in other words, making her look better by switching up the answers as you just saw. You can't have a different part of an answer to the same question."

"It's blatantly unethical, and if someone on my staff did that, they'd be looking for a new job," he continued.

Trump himself previously hammered CBS for its deceptive editing, calling it "the single greatest scandal, in my opinion, in broadcast history."
"'60 Minutes' and CBS interviewed Kamala, and she's incompetent. She gave them the dumbest answer anyone's ever heard. So they took that answer out, the whole answer they threw out, and they took another answer that she gave to a totally different question and inserted it. And supposedly, they did this a number of times. And they got caught. '60 Minutes' and CBS should lose their license for that."

The University of Pennsylvania broke federal law by allowing a transgender swimmer, a man who calls himself a woman, to be on the women's swim team and go into locker rooms where female team members were required to change.

The ruling is from the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights, and while the report itself does not name Lia Thomas, the man who identifies himself as a woman and insisted on being on the women's team, it does mean that he could lose the medals he won while he was swimming as a woman.

Thomas has become an activist for privileges for transgenders, after he and female swimmer Riley Gaines tied for first place in one event, and he was given the medal for victory, not her.

The department has investigated the school for some time, and concluded it violated Title IX, which bans sex discrimination in schools and colleges. The school is accused of "denying women equal opportunities by permitting males to compete in women's intercollegiate athletics and to occupy women-only intimate facilities," according to a report posted online at ESPN.

Thomas "won" a Division I title while swimming on the women's team at Penn, and the report noted that award is one that "Thomas now faces losing."

School officials had no comment on the problem they created, but the report noted in the past, they blamed the NCAA and Ivy League policies, claiming they followed them closely.

Federal officials said Penn has "10 days to voluntarily resolve the violations or risk prosecution."

The report said the Department of Education is calling for the school to issue a statement that it will follow Title IX requirements, a move that effectively would strip Thomas of "any awards or records in Division I swimming competitions."

Also, the school must apologize to those female swimmers "whose individual recognition is restored expressing an apology on behalf of the university for allowing her educational experience in athletics to be marred by sex discrimination," the report said.

"Little girls who look up to Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan can find hope in today's action – the Trump Administration will not allow male athletes to invade female private spaces or compete in female categories," said Acting Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Craig Trainor.

The misbehavior identified by the federal investigation already has resulted in the administration of President Trump suspending some $175 million in federal funding to Penn that had been coming from the Defense Department and the Department of Health and Human Services.

The NCAA had fallen into alignment with the transgender ideology, but abruptly reversed its policy when Trump took office and announced the federal government's position is that there are two genders, male and female.

Actually, following the science, changing genders doesn't happen, as being male or female is embedded in the human body down to the DNA level, a factor unchanged by cosmetic surgeries and the like.

The government also has opened investigations into other entities, including Denver Public Schools, over the issue.

Thomas, meanwhile, has demanded that Title IX be changed to provide more accommodations to men who say they are women and want to compete on women's teams, joining females in their locker room showers and such.

President Donald Trump has been waging a war of tariffs for weeks now.

He's trying to balance the international trade scene, where for years American companies have been subjected to high tariffs to get their products into foreign countries, while manufacturers in those countries essentially have an open door to American consumers.

Trump announced a long list of high tariffs for other countries, and as was his plan, they are now coming by the dozens to seek trade deals with America that would reduce those, possibly even reaching equality with those for U.S. producers.

One of the most belligerent respondents to Trump's campaign was China, which announced tariffs of more than 100% for American products when Trump did the same for Chinese goods.

But that standoff may be crumbling.

report from Fox Business explains that China expert and Gatestone Institute senior fellow, Gordon Chang, has delivered his assessment of the fight.

He believes there's now a "win" for Trump and China is now "caving" on the issue, as China apparently has been creating exemptions for its tariffs for some U.S. goods.

Trump has confirmed he's talked with China several times, but he wasn't ready to deliver details.

Chang concluded, "China is doing this, but it's not announcing it. It's just not imposing the tariffs on aviation products, industrial chemicals, and semiconductors. It's sort of like the Chinese way of doing it," Chang explained during an interview on Varney & Co.

Trump, responding to questions on the issue, said, "I don't want to comment on that, but I've spoken to him many times. I'll let you know at the appropriate time. Let's see if we can make a deal."

Fox noted that China said it was not negotiating with the U.S. on trade, but a later published report confirmed China's Ministry of Commerce taskforce was working on a list of items to be exempted from tariffs.

The report added, "Chang predicts the tariff back-and-forth between China and Trump's America 'can go on for a very long time.'" But he said Xi Jinping has put himself in a box.

"And I believe that if he comes to a deal with the U.S., he's got to explain that to the Chinese people. That's going to be very difficult for him. You can't say, 'Well, I'm now dealing with the U.S.,' because that would be undercutting everything that he has said to his own people for years," he said.
