A judge has determined that a written assault on a young football fan wearing facepaint in honor of his team and his heritage by Deadspin, in the words of a column on its pages, is actionable.
A report from the Associated Press said the judge found the "image of a child displaying his passionate fandom as a backdrop for its critique of the NFL's diversity efforts and, in its description of the child," actually crossed the line of protected speech.
"Having reviewed the complaint, the court concludes that Deadspin's statements accusing H.A. of wearing black face and Native headdress 'to hate black people and the Native American at the same time,' and that he was taught this hatred by his parents, are provable false assertions of fact and are therefore actionable."
The decision is from Delaware Superior Court Judge Sean Lugg, who rejected Deadspin's demand that the lawsuit by the family of the child be dismissed.
The publication had argued its blast at the child was "opinion."
Case was brought by Californians Raul Armenta Jr. and his wife, Shannon, on behalf of their son, Holden, 9.
He wore the costume at a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders last November.
The court documents explained that Holden's family heritage is Chumash-Indian, and he wore his face painted half black and half red at the game.
But Deadspin used an image of the boy showing only the black side, and writer Carron Phillips said, "The NFL needs to speak out against the Kansas City Chiefs fan in Black face, Native headdress. They're doubling up on the racism. Are you going to say anything, Roger Goodell?"
Phillips claimed that the child "found a way to hate black people and the Native American at the same time" and suggested such "hatred" was taught by his parents.
The falsehood of the Deadspin report soon were documented online, but Phillips just doubled down, with, "For the idiots in my mentions who are treating this as some harmless act because the other side of his face was painted red, I could make the argument that it makes it even worse. Y'all are the ones who hate Mexicans but wear sombreros on Cinco."
The result was threats against the Armentas.
A month after the lawsuit was filed, G/O Media, which owned Deadspin, sold the name to Lineup Publishing and the entire staff was dismissed.
WND reported it took months for a "correction" to appear.
The publication said its "report" was based "upon the available photo" of the child.
"Unfortunately the article drew attention to the fan, though our intended focus was on the NFL and its checkered history on race, an issue which our writer has covered extensively for Deadspin," it said.
"We regret any suggestion that we were attacking the fan. To that end, our story was updated on Dec. 7 to remove any photos, tweets, links, or otherwise identifying information about the fan. We have also revised the headline to better reflect the substance of the story."

The Biden-Harris regime has lost a key battle in its agenda to impose an abortion-on-demand ideology on states, with the Supreme Court declining to take up the administration's case that demanded an endorsement of what Democrats and other leftists insist are emergency abortions.
The dispute involved the abortion rules in Texas, which ban most procedures and is one of the strictest definitions in the country.
Abortion promoters have claimed that the federal emergency medical services law requires physicians to perform abortions, whether they want to or not, under certain circumstances.
The Supreme Court, without comment, let stand allow a lower court's ruling that bars those procedures that violate state law.
The lower court ruling, which now stands, said hospitals cannot be required to provide abortion if they are in violation of state law.
Biden and Harris in this case and in another involving a similar law in Idaho had claimed that the federal Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act trumped any state law that imposed what they thought were limits on emergency abortions.
The Democrats wanted the high court to toss that lower court ruling, claiming hospitals are required under federal law to do abortions.
The justices had dismissed the Idaho case just weeks ago, and the result there was that lower courts allowed emergency abortions to resume while the state's challenge continues.
The pro-abortion agenda in the White House had cited a Texas Supreme Court ruling that said physicians are not required to wait until a woman's life is in immediate danger to provide an abortion legally.
But the state explained that its law, unlike Idaho's, contains an exception for the health of a pregnant patient.
A report from CBS explained the decision "leaves in place a lower court decision that blocked the federal government from enforcing guidance it issued to hospitals notifying them that they must provide emergency abortions if the health of the mother is at risk."
The move has been one of a multitude by Biden and Harris to push for vast expansions of America's lucrative abortion industry. They've often done this not by changing the law, but by manipulating "rules" and "regulations" to impose an abortion-for-all ideology.
In this case, the regime used the rules issued by the Department of Health and Human Services. which told states in 2022 that if a state abortion law does not include the abortion promotions they want, it was preempted by federal law.
"In the Idaho case, the Supreme Court's decision indicated that the majority believed the court intervened too early. The justices did not address the underlying question of whether the federal law, the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act, trumps near-total bans in certain circumstances," the CBS report said.
The Democrats abortion promotion was triggered by the Supreme Court's decision to throw out the faulty 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that "created" a "right" to abortion federally.
That decision returned governance of the billion dollar abortion industry to the states, and since then, some two dozen have adopted laws to reduce the abortion free-for-all Biden and Harris have endorsed.
When the federal demand for emergency abortions was issued, Texas sued.
At the district court, a judge sided with Texas and blocked the Biden-Harris demands, ruling that hospitals cannot be forced to do abortion in violation of state law.
The report said, "The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit upheld that order, ruling that EMTALA 'does not govern the practice of medicine' or mandate physicians to terminate pregnancies when it is the necessary stabilizing treatment for a medical emergency."
IN recent months the issue has been raised several times when women died, allegedly after not getting an abortion immediately and locally. However, those cases have been misrepresented in media outlets, as the women were suffering from conditions that were legally treatable at the time they suffered side effects from the abortion drugs.

Under the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris agenda of promoting the far-left ideology of transgenderism, schools have forced girls to allow boys to be on their athletic teams, in motel rooms with them on trips and in their showers.
It's happened at multiple levels from grade school to university, where national governing bodies have submitted to the falsehood that males can become females. In fact, under the science, being male or female is embedded in the body down to the DNA level and does not change.
Too, there already have been injuries to females on such teams because of the greater muscle mass and athletic performance of males.
Of course multiple lawsuits have been begun, and the Supreme Court has yet to issue a determining rule.
But that ultimately may be unnecessary, as those involved already have started delivering their judgment. In fact, multiple teams now have refused to play a "women's" volleyball team from San Jose State because it includes a male who says he is female.
The presence of the man calling himself Blaire Fleming on that team means that his teammates will not be able to enjoy the competition for which they have trained. And the women on the other teams also will be deprived of the competition for which they have trained.
A report at ZeroHedge explains two of the most recent announcements came from Boise State and the University of Wyoming.
Those teams are "forfeiting" their games rather than play San Jose State, which recently advanced its record to 9-0 for the season after being given the "victory" in games that were not played.
The Wyoming team said, "After a lengthy discussion, the University of Wyoming will not play its scheduled conference match against San José State University in the UniWyo Sports Complex on Saturday, Oct. 5. Per Mountain West Conference policy, the Conference will record the match as a forfeit and a loss for Wyoming."
The report noted Wyoming first had said the game would be played, "but reversed that decision after state legislators began organizing a letter to the university's president and athletic director."
Former Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, who was among the first to launch a revolt against males on women's sports teams, applauded the latest developments in the social and moral contest over adopting the ideology that men can simply call themselves women, and be on women's teams.
Some of the legal actions already in play charge the NCAA with violating Title IX by allowing men on women's teams.
"The suit asserts that including male-to-female trans players not only disadvantages women but also presents a safety hazard…as highlighted in this video shared by Republican Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn:"
Earlier Southern Utah forfeited a scheduled match with San Jose.
A report at Not the Bee said the fourth school to protest the male player was Utah State.
The report said, "Honestly, these girls just don't want to get hurt by Spartans redshirt junior Blaire Fleming. They know if they play against a biological male their chances of injury skyrocket due to the sheer power behind those spikes."
San Jose, in a statement, claimed officials were "disappointed" that athletes "are being denied opportunities to compete."
But now a governor has joined the conversation:
The Cowboy State Daily reported, "U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman, a Republican and Wyoming's only delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives, voiced support for UW's ultimate decision in a Tuesday statement."
"I am proud of UW volleyball standing up to this nonsense," wrote Hageman. "We must do what it takes to protect our girls! I hope everyone will go support the team this season."
Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon also voiced support of the decision, saying, "It is important we stand for integrity and fairness in female athletics."
Lawmakers in that state warned their school: "The Legislature has been very clear that the University of Wyoming, being a publicly funded land grant institution, should not participate in the extremist agenda of Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) or propagate the lie that biological sex can be changed. We all know it cannot."

The moderators picked by CBS to run its vice presidential debate, between GOP candidate JD Vance and Democrat Tim Walz, were assessed by a multitude to have been biased toward the Democrat, just as the ABC moderators during the presidential debate a few weeks ago exhibited their bias.
And a commentator at the Daily Signal is crediting Vance with having delivered a "masterclass" to CBS in dealing with such partisanship.
Commentator Jarrett Stepman wrote, "Not only did Vance, Donald Trump's running mate, handle obviously skewed questions. He also refused to allow the moderators – a "CBS Evening News" anchor Norah O'Donnell and "Face the Nation" chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan – to live "fact-check" him without calling them out on it."
"When Brennen tried to interject with a comment on Haitian illegal immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, before moving on to the next question, Vance stopped her. She tried to cut him off with a 'we just don't have time with all these questions to allow you to respond,' but Vance wasn't having it. 'Margaret, the rules were that you guys weren't going to fact-check, and since you are fact-checking me I think it's important to say what's actually going on,' Vance said," he reported.
"The Ohio Republican went on to explain how illegal aliens can use a government app, CPB One, to apply for legal status, which he said was a part of the Biden-Harris administration's open border policies. The moderators continued trying to stop Vance, but he kept speaking. They even cut off his microphone. But Vance didn't look reckless or like a boor. He looked like a guy who took the discussion – and the intelligence of the American people – seriously. This is how it should be done."
He said the CBS moderators were "nearly as biased as the ABC News moderators" for the September 10 presidential debate.
They "cherry-picked" questions to be of interested to leftists, and steered the discussion toward topics that help Democrats. And, for example, they entirely ignored the huge scandal in which Walz has been involved over stolen valor – his multiple lies about his military service.
Moderators, he said, "don't just ask biased questions these days; they now actively participate in the debate to help whatever Democrat is on stage."
He cited "a funny moment."
"Vance pushed Walz, Kamala Harris' running mate, on a Minnesota law that allows babies to be killed after a botched abortion. It was a law that Walz signed. But Walz didn't and seemingly couldn't answer the question. Instead, Walz just pointed to the moderators and said they 'fact-checked' it last time. He clearly wanted the 'moderators' to step in and help him. They didn't deliver the life preserver this time, but it's understandable why Walz thought they would."
A report in the Daily Mail said a multitude of pundits and commentators "were not all pleased" with the moderators' bias.
Talk show host Megyn Kelly responded to the CBS stunt: "Tried to fact check. JD put you in your place. You won't [let] him fight you and you wont let them debate."
Another on social media said, "JD Vance called out the moderators for lying to the audience, and CBS immediately muted him. Legacy media is clearly controlled by the Democrats."
The network, before the debate, had lied about what its moderators would do, promising they "would not be doing live fact-checking."
That came after ABC's one-sided performance, with Kamala Harris, against President Donald Trump.
During the exchange that the moderators provoked, Brennan suddenly shut off the microphones and boasted, "Gentlemen the audience can't hear you because your mics are cut."
Brit Hume noted, "'The moderators were obnoxious and made it feel like three-on-one on Vance, and Vance was just fine."
WND has reported the ABC stunts were so egregious that there were questions whether the network should be reportion the 90 minutes of air time as a political campaign contribution to Harris.
The network has refused to say whether that reporting will be done.
It was Beth Brelje, an award-winning investigative journalist and elections correspondent for the Federalist, who wrote the ABC debate this week was a "90-minute ambush to boost Kamala Harris."
She explained, "Working as a team, ABC hosts David Muir and Linsey Davis propped up Harris and repeatedly tried to vanquish Trump by talking over him, cutting him off, and asking bizarre questions they did not ask Harris. At one point, Davis jumped in for Harris and offered a rebuttal to one of Trump's comments on abortion, a move beyond the scope of a moderator.
"It was not a debate, but a campaign contribution. That's not a big surprise from either moderator, as Muir hosts the most Trump-negative network news evening broadcast and Davis has a long track record of promoting Democrat talking points including stolen election claims from Hillary Clinton."
She reported, "In broadcasting, where advertising is sold by the second, time really is money. A 30-second commercial in the February Super Bowl cost $7 million. CBS charged $225,000 for a half-minute ad during a 2016 debate between former President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. CNN sold ad packages for the June 27 debate between Trump and President Joe Biden for a minimum of $1.5 million per package, which included two 30-second ads, plus a few online ads."
While ABC's charges weren't known right away, assuming a "lowball" figure of $225,000 for half a minute, the 90-minute campaign promotion "comes to a contribution to the Harris Walz campaign of at least $40.5 million."
In the CBS debate, both moderators already have expressed opposition to Trump. In the ABC event, "it was revealed moderator Davis was a sorority sister of Harris, and the ABC News chief, Dana Walden, was a "close personal friend" of Harris who introduced her to her now-husband.

As the actual killer winds and storms from Hurricane Helene dissipate, residents of multiple southeastern states, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina in particular, are getting a look at what's left of their communities after one of the most devastating storms ever.
And it's not good.
Zach Dasher, of Swannanoa, N.C., said it's complete devastation there. Absolute decimation.
"I'm talking about not only have the buildings gone on one side of the road, the ground that the building sat on is no longer there. It's complete devastation. Lots of people lost their lives. Folks from our church that were helping rescue people out of the floods, they saw people lose their lives… We don't have a final count or anything like that… It's devastating.," he said in a Fox report.
While the storm came ashore as a Category 4 in Florida, it swooped north quickly, crossing Georgia then landing, more or less, on parts of North Carolina, where up to 30 inches of rain was reported.
And roads, buildings, bridges, even mountainsides, were reported gone.
Vast swaths of the region remained without power. No food, fuel or communications yet were available.
Appalachian State University student Dana Lheureux told Fox's Trace Gallagher, "The hurricane hitting us was devastating. None of us expected to be hit as bad as we were. The tree went through my building at 6 a.m. on Friday morning."
Fatalities were documented in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.
Joe Biden approved a disaster declaration for North Carolina and at the same time warned people they would need to donate to cover the costs of a recovery. GOP presidential candidate President Donald Trump announced the delivery of trucks loaded with supplies, and an online fundraiser that was collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash to help.
Debris from destroyed buildings and vehicles littered waterways, which were at record flood levels as the rainfall drained away, a process that should take days.
Various locations declared public health emergencies. Tornado watches remained.
In Erwin Tennessee, officials reported dozens of people were rescued from the roof of a hospital.
Virginia state police said dozens of patients and staff were trapped on the building because of the quickly rising storm floods.
"I don't think very many people have seen something like this before," Ballad Health CEO Alan Levine said in a report. "The most important thing is the safety of our employees and patients. Thank God, thanks to the great work of Tennessee and Virginia partnering to help us get this rescue underway, they're all safe."
Hundreds of flights were canceled in Charlotte, Atlanta and Tampa, and there was a warning issued that electric vehicles, if flooded by salty seawater, could short out and explode.
ABC News reported sudden, heavy deluges still were being reported.
North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper called the wreckage left behind "beyond belief."
"Communities were wiped off the map," he said.
Helene made landfall in Florida's Big Bend region Thursday night as a Category 4 hurricane and reports called it the strongest hurricane to make landfall in the Big Bend on record.
The Buncombe County region in North Carolina was among the hardest hit, with 35 fatalities there and an estimated 600 individuals still remaining unaccounted for.
Online, Biden and Harris were facing a backlash over a slow response, with one commenter suggesting they get that "check" back from Ukraine and send it to Asheville, N.C., which was a bull's-eye for the storm.
A report at BizPacReview scorched the Democrats for, as the storm destroyed lives, "Biden had returned to his beach and Harris had her handout as she continued bucking for a promotion."

The alarm is being sounded about large numbers of illegal aliens being allowed to vote in the upcoming presidential election, with former President Donald Trump's son warning of "forces that are not looking to do the right thing."
Appearing on "Sunday Morning Futures" on the Fox News Channel, Donald Trump Jr. said, "We're up against a lot of forces that are not looking to do the right thing, they're looking to try to literally give illegal aliens, you know, the right to vote.
"They're looking to let them get away with it. It's not really a crime … if you didn't know, so wink, wink, wink, show up and vote."
Trump Jr. indicated the problem Republicans are facing is many states are run by Democrats who have little interest in election integrity.
"If you have a leftist/Democrat state legislature, there's is only so many things you're going to do," he explained. "Even in Alabama this week I guess the DOJ is suing because they don't want to remove 4,000 people that they know are actually noncitizens that are on the voter rolls. I mean, that's the Democrat party doing this.
"They don't want to take people who are known noncitizens, people who are legally not allowed to vote, they want to make sure we can't take them off the roster. That kind of stuff happens every day. That's happening everywhere.
"The amount of lawfare that they're able to put into this, the millions and millions that are funded to it, I mean, you know, it's not just fund raising in campaigns where they can dwarf us because of [George] Soros or whoever it may be. They do that in each and every instance."

The former president's son says such problems are occurring "across the board," and he's received calls from the likes of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, saying, "Hey, they're giving them ID cards, and they're registering them to vote and just hoping that no one has the time to catch it all."
Trump Jr. said: "They're playing whatever games they can imagine. They're flaunting it before the American people. It's absolutely disgusting, but we should be accustomed to that now from the Democrat party because they are not the party of putting Americans first. They've ostracized so many of their normal demographics that would have been reliable Democrat voters.
"So rather than actually do what's good for those people and the rest of the American people, they have said, you know what? We're just going to replace you by bringing in 20 million if unknown, unvetted, some of whom who are murderers and rapists, many of whom frankly at this point, and that's how they're going to handle the situation.
"Honestly, it's laughable if it wasn't happening in America right now. It's truly disgusting."

A new warning has been delivered to Americans by Bob Marshall, who served 26 years in the Virginia House of Delegations, in a Washington Stand article that points out Kamala Harris, during the race riots in Minneapolis in 2020, told her followers to send donations to pay for bail for rioters and arsonists who were arrested then.
But, Marshall warns, it was Harris' running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who went way over the edge, not only failing to respond and allowing the violence to develop, but then blaming others.
He cited the evidence, from a Minnesota state Senate Joint Committee, that criticized Walz for mishandling the riots.
"For example, while the Minnesota Department of Public Safety announced that 604 people had been arrested from May 25 to June 2, the Joint Committee found that: 'Governor Walz and his administration also chose to only arrest and prosecute 2% of those caught rioting. Many other rioters were never caught due to the inadequate amount of law enforcement present throughout the destruction.'"
And, the report said, the state commissioner of public safety delivered orders to release rioters rather than arrest them.
The report's conclusions are damaging for Walz, stating, "After George Floyd's death, Minnesota experienced an unprecedented series of riots (primarily in the Twin Cities area) that included arson, vandalism, looting, homicides, and assaults … Lives were lost, over 1,500 businesses and buildings were burned, approximately $500 million in property damage occurred, and community morale was deeply affected. … If Governor Walz had acted in a decisive manner by activating the Minnesota National Guard when requested, the riots would have been brought under control much faster."
But someone else, the commentary explains was Walz's excuse.
The report, in fact, found, "Governor Walz … attempted to deflect blame … he made statements that were later directly contradicted by police officer testimony. …"
The details include that Walz "placed blame" on mayors, even though one mayor's request for help "was ignored for over 18 hours."
A report confirmed a local reporter revealed, "The blame game has begun in earnest. Walz is … pointing the finger at Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Saint Paul Mayor … Melvin Carter."
The Minnesota Joint Committee Report also noted, "Governor Walz commented that state assets should have been sent in sooner. The reason he did not send them in was because he thought the cities, not the state, needed to keep the peace," and "A reporter asked Governor Walz why he waited until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28 to make any decisions and come up with any solutions instead of doing something in the afternoon when the uncontrollable looting started? Governor Walz's response was it is the mayors and local police forces who were the leaders of the communities, not he."
In fact, that committee report confirmed Walz's failure to act in an appropriate time frame "cost Minnesotans their lives, communities, and livelihoods.
The commentary noted, "At the Democratic National Convention, Walz said that 'Leaders do the work.'" But the committee report noted, "Our highly trained Minnesota National Guard and local police officers understood how to protect Minnesota from riots, but Governor Walz and Mayor Frey got in their way."
The report pointed out Walz's failure: "Executive leadership at the state and local level failed to distinguish between demonstrators and rioters … leaders failed to provide the guidance Minnesotans expect from their offices."
The report further pointed out only Walz "had the legal authority to mobilize the Minnesota National Guard … Governor Walz chose not to fully mobilize the Minnesota National Guard while rioting overtook the state on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Governor Walz had the ability to call the Minnesota National Guard into the cities without the mayors' requests, but he decided against it."
The result was entire city blocks of cities torched, many injuries, even deaths.
Stunningly, the report noted Walz allowed his daughter access to confidential information and she broadcast to rioters that "the National Guard would not be deployed," which was followed by one police precinct headquarters being burned the ground.
Marshall then asked, "What assurance do we have that Tim Walz would act differently if he were elected vice president?"

Federal agents have raided the New York City mansion of Mayor Eric Adams and confiscated his phone, just hours after reports surfaced that he had been named in an indictment.
The response from Adams was that the charges are "entirely false."
The Washington Examiner said reports confirmed federal officers raiding Gracie Mansion.
"They send a dozen agents to pick up a phone when we would have happily turned it in."
"Sources familiar with the matter told multiple outlets on Wednesday night that Adams was indicted following a federal corruption investigation, though the specific charges are sealed. This would make him the first mayor in the city's history to be indicted while in office," the report said.
It explained the federal investigation reportedly focused on claims that Adams schemed with the government of Turkey to push construction of a new consulate while ignoring safety concerns.
"In return, the Turkish government allegedly funneled illegal foreign funds into his campaign war chest, multiple outlets have reported," the report said.
"Now, if I am charged, many may say I should resign because I cannot manage the city while fighting the case. I can also understand everyday New Yorkers would be concerned that I cannot do my job while I face accusation. But I have been facing these lies for months since I began to speak out for all of you and their investigation started, yet the city has continued to improve. Make no mistake, you elected me to lead this city, and lead it I will."
A report by Fox News said Adams insinuated his criticism of the Biden-Harris administration's disastrous border policies made him a target for retaliation.
"The federal government did nothing as its broken immigration policies overloaded our shelter system with no relief," he said. "I put the people of New York before party and politics."
Fox reported that David Gelman, a defense attorney and legal surrogate for the Trump campaign, said, "The question is, is it politically motivated? It's possible. The DOJ has shown over the last 3.5 years that they are weaponized."
Fox noted, "Federal agents have conducted a series of raids targeting Adams' inner circle in recent weeks, including the new police commissioner, the commissioner he replaced, and other top aides in the mayor's office and from his campaign."

The People's Republic of China is taking a hit economically, after U.S. tariffs, high youth unemployment, a lagging property market, and an increasing national debt, has begun to squeeze the Chinese economy.
According to Reuters financial columnist Jamie McGeever, China's response to the property crisis and growing deflation is "baffling."
"The impact of this muted response on China's economy has been stark. Growth in 2024 is likely to fall short of the government's 5.0% target, deflationary pressures are intensifying at an alarming rate, investment is collapsing, and credit growth is at a record low," McGeever said.
McGeever added Morgan Stanley economists are forecasting China's Gross Domestic Product is expected to only reach 3.9% this year and into 2025. The U.S. economy, meanwhile, is expected to have a GDP growth of 5.5%.
This is a drastic drop from the 4.2% forecast by Morgan Stanley in January, while Goldman Sachs had China with a 4.9% GDP growth, and JPMorgan predicted growth as high as 4.9%.
"China's stock market is also a notable laggard. As the rising tide of global monetary easing has lifted stock markets around the world to new highs, China has gone in the opposite direction. Shanghai's blue chip index is down 15% since May, has nearly halved since February 2021, and is close to making new multi-year lows," McGeever said.
According to a report from Bloomberg, China's car dealerships are facing an almost $20 billion loss, after Chinese consumers have become reluctant to make major purchases.
The China Automobile Dealers Association said in a statement Monday, the association is appealing to the Chinese government about the dealer's capital chain causing a price war.
"Recently, the China Automobile Dealers Association has received a large number of member companies to report that the drastic changes in the automobile market brought about by factors such as the continuous 'price war' have made auto dealers mired in a quagmire and face the outstanding problem of extremely tight capital liquidity," the association said.
The association formally submitted the "Emergency Report on the Current Financial Difficulties and Shutdown Risks of Auto Dealers" to the Chinese government, which analyzed the issue, and put forward policy recommendations to deal with it.
"At present, there are large-scale losses in the sales of new cars of auto dealers, and there is a general situation of cash flow deficit operation and the risk of capital chain rupture intensifying, and it is difficult to get rid of the dilemma of survival," the association said.
As China's economic woes deepen, many Americans are wanting to decouple from China. Former U.S. Navy SEAL and founder of Blackwater USA Erik Prince, said during an interview with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo, that the supply chain needs to come out of the hands of China because it is a huge vulnerability for the U.S., and poses several national security risks.
A recent strike by Israel against terrorist organization Hezbollah, targeted 2,800 of its senior leaders through their telecommunication network, while dozens of its members were killed through the detonation of their walkie-talkies the very next day. The strike was carried out by getting into the supply chain, and planting the devices.
Prince said there is a chance China could carry out a similar attack in the U.S. because it has so much access to the supply chain.
"It's an extreme vulnerability that we have … even the processing of rare earth minerals to the manufacturer of the integrated circuits, to the guts of many of our appliances, to even our pharmaceuticals. Imagine what they [China] could do to painkillers or to basic antibiotics, or to a lot of the stuff still made abroad. It speaks to having to have control, or visibility," Prince said.
Tense international relationships are also starting to take a toll, after China has repeatedly increased its aggression toward the Philippines with its dispute over the South China Sea. Now India, one of the world's largest emerging economies, has also voiced its concern over doing business with China.
Despite being a part of BRICS – an international alliance consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, as well as Iran, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Ethiopia – India's commerce and industry minister recently ruled out the possibility of a free-trade agreement between India and China.
During an interview with CNBC, India's Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, rejected the idea that India would be joining one of the largest trade deals in the world – the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership – citing it is not in the best interest of India's farmers.
"India is not going to join the RCEP because neither did it reflect the guiding principles on which ASEAN was started, nor is it in the nation's interest to do a free trade agreement with China," Goyal said.
ASEAN – the Association of Southeast Asian Nations – is a political and economic union of 10 states in Southeast Asia, consisting of Brunei, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Loas, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Singapore.
The RCEP was first signed in 2020 by 15 Asia-Pacific countries – including ASEAN nations, Australia, South Korea, China, Japan, and New Zealand. India was initially included within the agreement, but pulled out in 2019 citing unresolved "core interest" issues, according to CNBC.
"It was not in our farmers' interest, RCEP did not reflect the aspirations of our small and micro medium industries and sector, and in some form, was nothing but a free trade agreement with China. When you see from the lens sitting outside the country, you don't realize how difficult it is to compete against a non-transparent economy," Goyal said, adding China is "very opaque in its economic practices."
While China continues to operate its business in a less than transparent way, it is also attempting to infiltrate the U.S. with CCP plants.
American journalist, lawyer, and political commentator Gordan Chang said in an interview with CPAC that China is sending operatives through the southern border into the U.S. mainland to attack Americans.
"I think China is behind some of this immigration, and they're sending operatives in the United States to attack us. You know, if we go back two years, we were seeing primarily family groups for Chinese coming across our southern border, and those are people who want to live in a free society. But now, about two-thirds of Chinese migrants are single males of military age, traveling without family members coming in packs of five to fifteen," Chang said.
Chang noted the amount of Chinese nationals who have recently been caught spying for the Chinese Communist Party inside important industries – like Verizon, which recently had a Chinese national working as an IT specialist in Florida, while he sent back intelligence to the CCP.
China has also been buying up farmland all over the U.S., with many of these areas close to important military installations.
"While this is occurring, we are seeing these increased incursions and attempted incursions into our military bases by Chinese. So, I think they are trying to scope out our bases, in preparation for attacks. We're seeing Chinese migrants take target practice just immediately after they arrive in our country," Chang said.
Chang added there is also a plan to attack Americans through biological weapons.
"This is an extremely dangerous situation, and one more point, there was a secret Chinese biological weapons lab in Reedley, California, which had at least 20 pathogens according to the official count, and almost 1,000 mice that had been genetically engineered to spread disease. Take the migrants and the mice and you have a biological attack on the United States in preparation for China's attack on us and our friends and partners," Chang said.

Just as it has been confirmed yet another man is charged with threatening the life of President Donald Trump, tech billionaire Elon Musk has posted on his Twitter social media site a series of video statements from Democrats demanding exactly that.
"It serves as a terrifying reminder that Democrats don't just want to beat Trump, they want him gone … by any means necessary. Hey, we're not the ones saying it, THEY are. We can hear it directly from them," explained a commentary at Twitchy.
The video includes wild claims by Joe Biden about Trump being a threat to democracy.
And the threat, "They're still going to have to go and put a bullet in Donald Trump."
And twice-failed Democratic White House hopeful Hillary Clinton complaining how "dangerous" Trump is.
And an official White House statement about the "threat" Trump is.
"What's REALLY disturbing is how much of this was taken from people like Hillary Clinton even after the first or SECOND attempt on Trump's life proving they have no intention of taking the rhetoric down. Again, proving they'll do anything to anyone to stay in power," the commentary explained.
