Chelsea Clinton is firing back against what she calls "lies" and "absurd claims" that she was gifted $84 million from USAID, the United States Agency for International Development.
"Lies and conspiracies about my family and me are nothing new. Still, I am particularly troubled by the absurd claims that continue to pervade social media this week, fact checks be damned," the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, wrote Monday on X.
"Facts: I'm proud of the Clinton Foundation work that has helped tens of millions of people worldwide. Our impact speaks for itself. I don't take a cent from the Foundation. Never have. In fact, my family personally contributes meaningfully to our work each year.
"Misinformation isn't just noise – it's a weapon. Efforts to undermine good work won't stop us, and we stand in solidarity with those who are committed to truth, public health, progress, and the endless potential of our future."
WND reported last week how Elon Musk, the head of DOGE, the Department of Governmental Efficiency, posted and then deleted a "Wow" reaction to claims Chelsea allegedly received some $84 million in U.S. taxpayer funding.
"USAID gave Chelsea Clinton tens of millions of dollars and partnered with their sex trafficking organization The Clinton Foundation," wrote author and journalist Liz Crokin on X.
"In 2010, then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton helped oversee $4.4 billion that Congress had earmarked for 'recovery' efforts in Haiti by the USAID in 2010."
Crokin continued: "The level of corruption and criminality – including crimes that are deemed capital offenses with death penalty as a potential punishment – are astounding and unprecedented.
"We must demand accountability and justice for these crimes."
The left-leaning so-called fact-checker Snopes.com indicated the claim Chelsea herself had received the money directly was false.
"A graph that social media users claimed showed Chelsea Clinton received $84 million from USAID is actually a reference to the Clinton Foundation," it wrote.
"Further, government data from fiscal years 2008-24 showed that USAID had not given more than $7.5 million to that foundation. Finally, tax returns show Chelsea Clinton does not receive any compensation for her work at the foundation."
However, Britain's Daily Mail reports: "But even though Snopes clarified that Chelsea hadn't received direct compensation, the Clinton Foundation has received financial awards from the U.S. government, such as in 2010 when the were granted $49,998 for AmeriCorps National.
"And AmeriCorps has roots in the Clinton Foundation, as former-President Bill Clinton signed the National and Community Trust Act of 1993 that brought the federal organization to life.
"USAID also gave money to the Clinton Health Access Initiative, a self-run off-shoot of the Clinton Foundation, totaling $7.49million – spending the majority of it between 2019 to 2021."
Chelsea Clinton's post on Monday is getting fierce reaction.
Phil Suarez, a U.S. Army combat veteran and Republican congressional candidate in Texas, says:
"Chelsea, the problem isn't just 'misinformation' or 'conspiracies' – it's the undeniable history of corruption, pay-to-play politics, and shady dealings tied to the Clinton Foundation. If the Foundation's work is as selfless as you claim, why did donations mysteriously dry up when your mother lost in 2016? Why did foreign governments and corporations pour millions into it while she was Secretary of State? Why did internal audits and whistleblower reports raise serious concerns about financial mismanagement?
"Americans have every right to question an organization with a history of blurred ethical lines and special treatment for donors. Instead of dismissing criticism as 'lies' and 'absurd claims,' perhaps some real accountability is in order. Your family's legacy isn't one of transparency or public service – it's one of influence-peddling and backroom deals.
"And let's not pretend you're just an innocent bystander. You've personally benefited from the Clinton name, and your attempts to silence critics with moral posturing won't change the facts. If the Foundation's 'impact speaks for itself,' let the numbers, audits, and records do the talking – not another Clinton lecture about 'truth' while sweeping real concerns under the rug."
Other commenters directly responding to Chelsea Clinton indicated:
"Oh, look. It's a Clinton lying again."
"You owe me money. Btw there is no amount of money that could make you someone to look at. UGLY is in your genes."
"You are going to jail even if your evil criminal parents escape justice."
"You're such a lying b*tch. You, your mother and father are criminals and degenerates. You all belong in prison. Go f*** yourself."
"Your parents need to face justice … and if you're mixed up in any of it? Then you have to face the music too. No one's above the law, them's the rules."
"Of course you're proud, you made millions."
"Ok Chelsea. And your father did not have sexual relations with that woman, right? "
"You stole money from the Haiti relief fund. The Clinton Foundation stole more money than they helped. You and your family are criminals."
"This post is what panic looks like."
"You stole money from the Haiti relief fund. The Clinton Foundation stole more money than they helped. You and your family are criminals."
"Your dad went to Epstein Island 26 times."
"You are a criminal like your mother! At least you didn't rape young women at Epstein's Island like your which your mother knew about and did nothing about it! It Was all about the $$$$$!"
"You know not a single person believes a word you say, right?"

Two years ago, lawmakers in Tennessee adopted a legislative plan that prevents physicians from facilitating a minor's gender transition.
It does that by stopping them from "prescribing, administering, or dispensing any puberty blocker or hormone" or carrying out gender transition surgery.
At the time, Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall simply said the processes are "child abuse."
"This was simply a way to impose a radical gender ideology across the country under the guise of treatment for kids," he said.
The fight was in the courts almost immediately and the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals approved the law, and the Joe Biden administration jumped into the fight, through the U.S. Department of Justice, to condemn the state and promote his transgender ideologies, which he pushed throughout his administration.
When President Donald Trump moved into the White House, he could have dropped the government's participation. He didn't. In fact, he reversed the government's position, and it now is arguing that the law is fine.
The Washington Stand explains the DOJ, now in the U.S. v. Skrmetti case, states, "The department has now determined that SB1 does not deny equal protection on account of sex or any other characteristic."
Curtis Ganon, a deputy solicitor general, told the Supreme Court the previously stated opinions were wrong.
The reversal came just two days after Pam Bondi, Trump's nominee for U.S. attorney general, was sworn in.
The report noted, "Also under normal circumstances, the DOJ reversing its position on the case would render it moot, removing it from the Supreme Court's jurisdiction, which extends only to live 'cases' and 'controversies' under Article III, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution. However, the DOJ's letter argued that this was a special case. Since the U.S. government is not the only challenger, the case before the court is not moot. The court's decision will affect many cases in lower courts (at least four appellate courts have ruled on the merits of the question, coming to conflicting conclusions). And, since the court has already been fully briefed on this case, it would be a waste of the court's time to dismiss this case, only for it to hear a similar case later. In the DOJ's words," the report noted.
Sarah Parshall Perry of the Heritage Foundation said it was the best position the DOJ could have adopted.
"The court has heard all it needs to hear on the constitutionality of state bans on gender affirming care for minors. … Though the official position of the U.S. is now different than it was under Biden, the issue remains salient, and the Court should still resolve it. Failing to do so means trans-identified children will continue to suffer gender butchery in the states while litigation proceeds."

Democrats and other leftists in Congress and around Washington, D.C., are incensed that President Donald Trump is in the White House, and he's fulfilling a campaign promise to cut government waste through his Department of Government Efficiency and its chief, Elon Musk.
They've threatened to fight in the streets and raised both eyebrows and authorities' alarm by saying DOGE workers are wanted dead or alive.
One Republican senator has another perspective: Musk should be given a medal.
Ready to have your mind blown?

Musk previously hos documented his own personal stake in the abuse of taxpayer money, explaining at one point he was the "largest individual taxpayer in history."

It is Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., who listed what Musk has found while investigating fraud and waste at USAID.
"He found that the USAID has 10,000 people employees, and every year they give away $40 billion.
"He found that the USAID gave money to support electric vehicles in Vietnam. Our money, taxpayer money.
"He found that the USAID gave money to a transgender clinic in India. 'I didn't know that. I bet you the American people didn't know that.'
"He found that USAID gave $1.5 million to a Serbian LGBTQ group, they got $1.5 million to QUOTE, 'advanced diversity, equity, inclusion in Serbia's workplaces and business communities.'
"They found that USAID spent $164 million to support radical organizations around the world.
"They gave $122 million of that to groups aligned with foreign terrorist organizations.
"According to this report in Mr. Musk, the USAID has given millions of dollars to quote organizations in Gaza controlled by Hamas.
"He found that we gave $2 million, USAID did, for sex changes in Guatemala.
"He found that we gave $20 million to produce a new Sesame Street show in Iraq.
"He found that we gave $4.5 million of taxpayer money to combat misinformation in Kazakhstan.
"He found that we gave $10 million, USAID did, of meals to an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group called the Nusra Front.
"Mr. Musk found that we gave $7.9 million of taxpayer money to a project that would teach Sri Lankan journalists to avoid binary-gendered language.
"USAID gave $1.5 million to promote LGBT advocacy in Jamaica.
"They gave $1.5 million to rebuild the Cuban media ecosystem.
"They gave $1.5 million for quote, art for inclusion of people with disabilities in Belarus.
"Another $3.9 million for LGBT causes in Macedoni.
"$8.3 million for equity and inclusion education in Nepal.
Kennedy's recommendation: "I think we ought to give him a medal."
Trump has confirmed that most of the USAID employees are being put on leave, with only a few hundred remaining on duty, duties that apparently are being folded into the world of the State Department.

Under Joe Biden's presidency, indeed under that of his mentor, Barack Obama, too, American government was rife with anti-Christian bias.
There was Obama's orchestrated war to try to force Catholic nuns to pay for abortions, there were Biden's orders that churches be shut down for COVID, while bars and strip clubs were open. There was Obama's blast at voters who "cling to their Bibles." There was Biden's open defiance of his own claimed Catholic beliefs in his support for unlimited abortions.
Biden dispatched federal investigators to monitor religious parents at school boards and conservative Catholics in worship. Obama's IRS openly attacked Christians for their beliefs.
President Donald Trump is changing that trend:
He has announced, that "to confront such weaponization and religious persecution," there now is a new task force.
"Today I am signing an executive order to make our attorney general, who's a great person … she's gonna be a great attorney general, Pam Bondi, the head of a task force, brand new, to eradicate anti Christian bias," he said.
Trump made the comments at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington.
He said the goal will be to "immediately halt all forms of anti-Christian targeting and discrimination within the federal government." And he cited the Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
He also announced plans to "protect Christians in our schools, in our military, in our government, in our workplaces, hospitals and in our public squares."
He said his goal is to "bring our country back together as one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all."
Trump also announced the establishment of the White House Faith Office.
Kelly Shackelford, chief counsel for First Liberty Institute, said, "We are thrilled that President Trump recognizes that religious liberty is foundational to all of our Constitutional freedoms and plans to do all he can do to protect our first freedom. All Americans should be free to exercise their faith without government intrusion in school, in the military, in the workplace, and in the public square.
"We are ready to stand with President Trump to ensure that the religious liberty of every American is safe and secure."

President Donald Trump's strategy to impose tariffs is resulting in rapid results, as Mexico has agreed to send thousands of its troops to help secure its border with America in exchange for a temporary pause in tariffs on its products.
"I just spoke with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico," Trump posted on Truth Social.
"It was a very friendly conversation wherein she agreed to immediately supply 10,000 Mexican Soldiers on the Border separating Mexico and the United States.
"These soldiers will be specifically designated to stop the flow of fentanyl, and illegal migrants into our Country.
"We further agreed to immediately pause the anticipated tariffs for a one month period during which we will have negotiations headed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent, and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and high-level Representatives of Mexico.
"I look forward to participating in those negotiations, with President Sheinbaum, as we attempt to achieve a 'deal' between our two Countries."
It's not just Mexico that has been targeted for tariffs by Trump. America's northern neighbor of Canada is also in U.S. crosshairs.
Trump said Monday morning: "Canada doesn't even allow U.S. Banks to open or do business there. What's that all about?"
"Many such things, but it's also a DRUG WAR, and hundreds of thousands of people have died in the U.S. from drugs pouring through the Borders of Mexico and Canada.
"Just spoke to Justin Trudeau. Will be speaking to him again at 3:00 P.M."

PALM BEACH, Florida – Vice President JD Vance is doubling down on President Donald's Trump's suggestion that woke hiring policies of the Obama and Biden administrations may have been factors in the deadly collision between an American Airlines flight and a military helicopter that killed 67 people at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport last week.
Appearing on "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo, Vance explained: "Here's the specific way in which I think the DEI policies of the last administration, the Obama administration contributed to where we are.
"We have a massive shortage of air-traffic controllers and, in fact, there have been a number of lawsuits from people who would like to become air-traffic controllers against the Obama and Biden administration who basically said we were told not even to the apply because of the color of our skin, because they were white people who wanted to be air-traffic controllers, and under the DEI regime of the Biden administration, they weren't welcome.
"What does that mean? Number one, it means we don't have the best and the brightest sometimes in these positions. But even more importantly than that, even when we do get really good people, they're going to be way overstressed because they're working long hours, because air-traffic controllers are short staffed.
"And we have known going back years … I was on the Commerce Committee in the Senate. We knew for years that we had a shortage at air-traffic control.
"Well, part of the reason why we had a shortage at air-traffic control is because we were telling our air-traffic controllers not to hire people because of the color of their skin. That is a scandal, and it is a scandal, thankfully, that has stopped under the leadership of President Trump.
"It's why I'm actually optimistic about aviation safety, but it's also why we've had too many near misses and, unfortunately, a fatal crash just a couple days ago."
Bartiromo asked the vice president: "Do you have any if evidence that any of those hires that were there at the control Wednesday night were DEI hires?"
Vance replied: "The president's been very clear about, this is in the saying that the person who was at the controls is a DEI hire, but let's just say, first of all, we should investigate everything. But let's just say the person at the controls didn't have enough staffing around him or her because we were turning people away because of DEI reasons.
There is a very correct connection between the policies of the last administration and short-staffed air-traffic controllers. That has to stop. And, by the way, it's so funny the me, the media has … picked up on this. The president made very clear that he wasn't blaming anybody, but he was being very explicit about the fact that DEI policies have led our air-traffic controllers to be short staffed.
"That is a scandal. Thankfully, the it's a scandal that the president has stopped."
Vance was also asked if he plans to run for president in 2028.
"We'll see what happens come 2028," he responded.
"The best thing for my future is actually the best thing for the American people which is that we do a really good job over the next three and a half years. So, we'll cross the political bridge when we come to it.

A radio station that is owned by radical leftist and open borders advocate George Soros reportedly has doxed federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who were hunting for criminals in a region of San Jose, California, known for its violent gangs.
Such doxing – the public identification of vehicles or individuals – could allow gang member suspects to evade arrest, or even turn on the officers and injure them.
The report from the Post Millennial said the Bay Area station "reported live the vehicle descriptions of three alleged undercover vehicles in east San Jose, an area with violent Latino migrant gang activity."
The report warned, "The information put the law enforcement officers at serious risk while an operation was ongoing targeting violent, criminal foreign nationals."
The situation developed just days ago, on Jan. 26, "KCBS 740 AM radio host Bret Burkhart described the unmarked vehicles being used by ICE and the exact locations where ICE agents had been operating."
The report explained Burkhart was using information that appeared on social media from a leftist group called the Rapid Response Network, which fights deportation for illegal aliens.
"Here's what's happening," Burkhart said. "San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan and head councilmember Peter Ortiz confirmed today that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are currently carrying out an operation on the east side of town. The Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network, which is a community defense projecting system for immigrant communities against deportation threats, first reported the activity on its platforms."
Then followed the identification of three vehicles and their locations.
The apparent attempt to foil law enforcement comes, the report said, "as federal authorities are currently carrying out mass deportation operations across the United States at the direction of President Trump, targeting violent illegal immigrants convicted and/or charged with serious crimes, including murder, child rape, and assault with deadly weapons."
Soros last year bought Audacity, the parent company for KCBS.
On the website for Soros' Open Society Foundation he brags that it supports those groups working on issues for "migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers."

U.S. District Judge Sidney Stein has handed a sobbing former Sen. Bob Menendez, a Democrat, 11 years in prison for convictions of bribery and corruption.
Prosecutors had asked for a 15-year term for the 71-year-old, and his lawyers initially asked for a two-year sentence, revising their request to eight years after the judge sentenced co-conspirators to terms of that length.
Reports said Menendez was sobbing as he was sentenced.
A report at the Gateway Pundit noted Menendez resigned in August after Chuck Schumer, then the Senate majority leader, and other Democrats pressured him.
At the time, Menendez claimed he would be appealing his conviction "all the way and including to the Supreme Court."
He also said he was "proud of the many accomplishments I've had on behalf of New Jersey, such as leading the federal effort for Superstorm Sandy recovery, preserving and funding Gateway and leading the federal efforts to help save our hospitals, State and municipalities, as well as New Jersey families through a once in a century COVID pandemic."
He was accused in a superseding indictment of acting as a foreign agent, with allegations he gave "sensitive U.S. government" details to Egypt.
He and his wife also were accused of obstruction of justice.
Investigators found $500,000 in cash stuffed in envelopes and gold bars in the couple's home.
"This case has always been about shocking levels of corruption, hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes in the form of cash, gold bars, a Mercedes Benz. This wasn't politics as usual, this was politics for profit. And now that a jury has convicted Bob Menendez, his years of selling his office to the highest bidder have finally come to an end," Damian Williams, U.S. attorney, said earlier in the case.

Hollywood's Selena Gomez on Monday posted – and then deleted – a video of herself on Instagram sobbing uncontrollably as she reacts to President Donald Trump's deportations of criminal illegal aliens.
"I just want to say that I'm so sorry," Gomez, 32, says through tears, with a Mexican flag emoji visible.
"All my people are getting attacked. The children, they don't understand.
"I'm so sorry I wish I could do something, but I can't. I don't know what to do. I'll try everything, I promise."
Facing apparent backlash, she later shared another message on her Instagram Story, writing, "Apparently it's not ok to show empathy for people."
Among those slamming the former Disney star is Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, who said on X:
"'My people?' Aren't you American?
"Where was the sobbing over the 100,000 Americans dead from fentanyl poisoning? Where were these tears over the 340,000 children who went missing after being trafficked over our border? Why wasn't there a breakdown for Rachel Nungary, Rachel Morin, or Laken Riley? I guess those Americans weren't 'your people?'"
Trump's Border Czar Tom Homan appeared on television Monday to react to the Gomez meltdown.
"We're gonna do this job, and we're gonna enforce the laws of this country," Homan told Sandra Smith of Fox News. "If they don't like it, then go to Congress and change the law."
"We're going to do this operation without apology. We're gonna make our community safer."
"It is all for the good of this nation. And we're gonna keep going. No apologies. We're moving forward."
Gomez produced the Netflix documentary, "Living Undocumented," which reveals the lives of illegal immigrants in the U.S.
Though she was born in Texas, Gomez previously indicated her aunt crossed the American border from Mexico while hiding in the back of a truck.

Marco Rubio: Taliban holding more than U.S. hostages than has been reported
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio threatened the heads of the Taliban with a "very big bounty" after hearing that more American hostages are being held by the group, the New York Post reported.
"Just hearing the Taliban is holding more American hostages than has been reported," the secretary wrote on X.
"If this is true, we will have to immediately place a VERY BIG bounty on their top leaders, maybe even bigger than the one we had on Bin Laden," he threatened.
Last week, two Americans held by the Taliban were freed in a prisoner swap.
Report: Hamas cold-bloodedly executes several Gazans accused of 'collaborating with Israel'
Hamas terrorists recently executed several individuals accused of being "collaborators" with Israel in the Gaza Strip, as shown in a video on a Telegram account, reported Israel National News.
According to a report in Times of Israel, the video, posted to Gaza Now's Telegram account, depicts more than a dozen armed Hamas terrorists, many wearing uniforms, firing on three men who are lying on the ground.
The accompanying caption reads: "The moment of punishing the agents of the Zionist occupation who caused the killing of thousands of our Palestinian people in Gaza."
The authenticity of the video has not yet been independently verified.
Hamas, which took over the Gaza Strip in a bloody coup in 2007, regularly claims to have captured "Israeli spies," and many times it tries them and sentences them to death.
In September 2022, Hamas authorities executed two Palestinian Arabs who were convicted of assisting Israel by giving it information which resulted in the deaths of two people.
Trump urges Egypt, Jordan to accept more Palestinian refugees from Gaza
U.S. President Donald Trump said Saturday he'd like to see Jordan, Egypt and other Arab nations increase the number of Palestinian refugees they are accepting from the Gaza Strip – potentially moving out enough of the population to "just clean out" the war-torn area and create a virtual clean slate.
