Saying the American public "is not going to put up with it any longer," President Donald Trump is now providing some details about cleaning up the nation's capital city of Washington, D.C.

On Truth Social on Sunday, Trump said a news conference is slated for 10 a.m. Monday in the White House Press Briefing Room to address the matter.

"I'm going to make our Capital safer and more beautiful than it ever was before," the president began.

"The Homeless have to move out, IMMEDIATELY. We will give you places to stay, but FAR from the Capital. The Criminals, you don't have to move out. We're going to put you in jail where you belong.

"It's all going to happen very fast, just like the Border. We went from millions pouring in, to ZERO in the last few months. This will be easier – Be prepared! There will be no "MR. NICE GUY." We want our Capital BACK."

In a follow-up message, Trump indicated the news conference "will not only involve ending the Crime, Murder, and Death in our Nation's Capital, but will also be about Cleanliness and the General Physical Renovation and Condition of our once beautiful and well maintained Capital.

"We are not going to allow people to spend $3.1 Billion Dollars on fixing up a building, like the Federal Reserve, which could have been done in a far more elegant and time sensitive manner for $50 to $100 Million Dollars. The Renovation would have actually been better, and we would have saved $3 Billion Dollars, Traffic Jams, and never-ending Construction.

"The Mayor of D.C., Muriel Bowser, is a good person who has tried, but she has been given many chances, and the Crime Numbers get worse, and the City only gets dirtier and less attractive.

"The American Public is not going to put up with it any longer. Just like I took care of the Border, where you had ZERO Illegals coming across last month, from millions the year before, I will take care of our cherished Capital, and we will make it, truly, GREAT AGAIN!

"Before the tents, squalor, filth, and Crime, it was the most beautiful Capital in the World. It will soon be that again. Thank you for your attention to this matter – See you tomorrow at 10 A.M.!"

Vice President JD Vance is predicting "a lot of people" will get indicted in connection with the Trump-Russia collusion hoax that has come to be known as Russiagate.

Appearing on "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel, Vance said: "I absolutely want to see indictments."

He indicated U.S. intelligence agencies "defrauded the American people" on behalf of Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign against then-candidate Donald Trump.

"They actually laundered Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign talking points through the American intelligence services," Vance explained.

"That's a violation of the people's trust, that's a violation of what our intelligence services be doing, and I absolutely think they broke the law and you're gonna see a lot of people get indicted for that."

"Here's the thing that should really bother the American people," Vance continued. "What do you want our intelligence community to be doing? I want them to be catching bad guys. I want them to make sure terrorists aren't going to one killing innocent American civilians.

"I don't want them laundering Hillary Clinton's campaign talking points into the American media and giving them this air of legitimacy.

"It is sick and it's disgusting. It hurt the intelligence community, it hurt the American people and it hurts the first Trump administration. We've got to have consequences for it, or we're just gonna see the same play repeated again."

As WorldNetDaily reported last week, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi signed an order launching a grand jury investigation into the beginnings of the Democrats' Russiagate conspiracy against Trump, a scheme that carried through the entirety of his first presidency, during the four years before his second term, and even today has some extremist adherents.

A Texas mayor is facing fierce public backlash after purported video of him has surfaced allegedly depicting him berating a Christian street preacher with extreme vulgarity.

According to the Dallas Express, the Vice News video from 2018 allegedly shows Jim Ross of Arlington, Texas, using sexually explicit profanity as he confronted Ruben Israel, who passed away in 2023, as the preacher protested the Southern Decadence festival in New Orleans, an annual LGBT event during Labor Day weekend.

"I believe y'all can have free speech … But this is some hateful sh** and I am a heterosexual guy," said Ross, whose face was blurred. Ross was not elected mayor until June 2021, and was re-elected in 2023.

"You stand out here like you are a bada** mother******" Ross continued.

He then asked Israel, "You don't think anal sex is good, do you? Have you ever f***ed your old lady in the a**? I'd f*** your old lady in the a**."

While Israel avoided direct engagement, Ross continued, "Shut your a**, shut your a**, you little piece of sh**. You ought to talk sh**, these people around here are having a good f***ing time."

The author of the report, investigative reporter Carlos Turcios, indicated: "Face is blurred since it's a video from Vice News. We identified the man with the blurred face as Jim Ross. We reached out to Ross' office for comment. No response."

He added, "More stuff will be coming out."

Arlington's official profile says of Mayor Ross: "Jim has spent decades serving his community and his country. … More than a passionate lawyer, businessman, and advocate for all, Jim is a family man with four children and five grandchildren."

The footage is sparking spirited backlash.

"This video is beyond shocking. What a disgusting piece of human garbage. Mayor Ross should resign immediately," Tarrant County GOP Chairman Bo French told the Dallas Express.

"The now Mayor of Arlington's vile, profanity-laced rant at the late Ruben Israel, a Christian street preacher, is a disgrace," Tarrant County Republican Precinct Chair TK Campbell noted. "Perhaps the mayor was stressed out because of not being able to pay his taxes of late, but his unprofessional conduct mirrors the worst of today's cursing Democrats. Leadership demands better."

Truth Talk podcast host and Arlington resident Kathi Arocha said, "This is unfortunate. I am not certain what prompted this altercation. He sounds inebriated."

"Ruben Israel was no shrinking violet; yet even he deserved dignity and respect from an elected representative. Arlington can demand better without trading insults for insults. 'Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good' (Romans 12:21)," pastor Troy Jackson of New Beginnings Church in Bedford, Texas, wrote to the Dallas Express.

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying … . (Ephesians 4:29)," Jackson added.

"Seems totally normal and stable," LibsofTikTok said sarcastically.

"This disgusting piece of filth should be ran outta town today! I am speechless … wow," wrote another commenter.

"Jim Ross @CityOfArlington mayor needs to be fired immediately," said another. "This is appalling! He has no business being in the mayor's office. Recall!"

In March, Steven Crowder, host of "Louder with Crowder," said: "Mayor Jim Ross likes to portray himself as a moderate guy to his constituents. But that couldn't be further from the truth."

"While speaking at @sxsw Mr. Ross bemoaned anti-DEI initiatives by @realDonaldTrump and @GregAbbott_TX while failing to even once criticize the Left.

"Far from the good 'ole boy he pretends to be, Mr. Ross is a DEI touting wolf in sheep's clothing, and the perfect example of the game plan the Left plans to run. Woke isn't going away, it's just being repackaged."

The Dallas Express also reported: "Ross publicly acknowledged financial difficulties after it was revealed that the IRS began garnishing his salary due to unpaid taxes. Records from the Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector dated June 2025 show Ross owes $940.39 in penalties and interest, with a total outstanding debt of $174,945.93."

Citing threats to the life of Jeffrey Epstein's incarcerated paramour Ghislaine Maxwell, federal officials with the Bureau of Prisons have deployed special operations and counterterrorism forces to the Texas jail housing her.

"There have been death threats received," a source close to the investigation told the New York Sun.

"They are focused on the outside looking in, as opposed to the happenings inside the camp."

The paper reports: "Members of the BOP's Special Operations Response Team have been working around the Federal Prison Camp Bryan's entrance and perimeter to monitor outside threats against Maxwell. The French and British socialite is serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking and is trying to negotiate a commutation of her sentence amid enormous, renewed public interest in the Epstein case that has put pressure on President Trump.

"The BOP has also deployed its Counter Terrorism Unit, typically used to monitor the communications and activities for 'terrorist offenders' incarcerated in its system, to monitor threats inside Camp Bryan. Both teams have been working inside Camp Bryan since Maxwell's transfer there last week."

While Maxwell's attorney David Oscar Markus did not respond to questions from the Sun, a Bureau of Prisons spokesman said it does "not comment on the conditions of confinement for any incarcerated individual, nor do we elaborate on specific security procedures."

"We take seriously our duty to protect the individuals entrusted in our custody, as well as maintaining the safety of our employees and the community."

The BOP houses a large number of infamous inmates at some of America's most secure facilities, including the ignominious supermax prison in Colorado.

"But it is highly unusual for the bureau to need to protect an inmate at a minimum-security prison camp whose most prominent current inmates, prior to Maxwell's arrival, are a 'Real Housewife,' Jen Shah, and the Theranos fraudster, Elizabeth Holmes," the Sun reports.

Maxwell was transported out of Tallahassee, Florida, to her current facility in Texas after agreeing to help the government with ongoing probes into Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking ring.

Annie Farmer, an Epstein survivor, said Maxwell's transfer is "really worrying" to herself and fellow victims of sexual abuse.

"With this prison transfer, I think it again feels like she is getting preferential treatment," Farmer told CNN.

"That sounds like something that is unprecedented, and it's really worrying to us about what might be coming next."

Another survivor, Virginia Giuffre, who has since purportedly committed suicide, told media in Australia: "I was instructed to get undressed and have sex with Jeffrey Epstein while Ghislaine Maxwell was participating as well."

"Both of them," she stressed. "I was abused by Ghislaine and Epstein."

Meanwhile, appearing on "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel, Vice President JD Vance said of the Epstein case: "I laugh at the Democrats who are now all of a sudden so interested in the Epstein files. For four years Joe Biden and the Democrats did absolutely nothing about this story."

"We know that Jeffrey Epstein had a lot of connections with left-wing politicians and billionaires, and now President Trump has demanded full transparency from this, and yet somehow the Democrats are attacking him and not the Biden administration which did nothing for four years."

Water in the historic Sea of Galilee has turned blood-red recently, leading some to see it as a sign of the coming Apocalypse or another biblical omen.

As Gateway Pundit reports, after images and video of the anomaly were seen online, scientists offered an explanation.

According to Israel's environment ministry, the dramatic shift in color was the result of a bloom of green algae that releases red pigments when exposed to strong sunlight. There are no health issues, and authorities say the water is safe for swimming.

"No allergic reactions have been reported in areas where the algae has previously appeared," the the Kinneret Research Laboratory said in a statement.

The Pacific Legal Foundation is going to court in California over a city's demand for $55,000 in fees for a landowner to put up a modest home on his own land.

"Under the Takings Clause of the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution, no government agency may take private property for a public use without paying just compensation," a new court filing in U.S. district court in California charges.

"As a corollary to this rule, a government agency imposing a land-use permit condition that requires the dedication of private property, including money, 'must make some sort of individualized determination that the required dedication is related both in nature and extent to the impact of the proposed development,'" it continues. "Specifically, the agency must carry the burden of showing that the exaction bears an 'essential nexus' and 'rough proportionality' to the public impacts of the proposed project, lest the exaction be nothing more than an 'out-and-out plan of extortion.'"

The fight is being brought on behalf of Wesley Yu, who sued East Palo Alto over its housing ordinance that purports to force property owners to "surrender their land or pay steep fees just to build homes on their own property."

The city's demand is that Yu build an "affordable housing" unit on his own property with a permanent deed restriction.

Or, in the alternative, he can pay $54,891 in "fees" on his "modest home and guest unit."

"The government can't hold building permits hostage and force families to choose between giving up control of their property or paying unconstitutional fees," said David Deerson, an attorney with Pacific Legal Foundation. "Wesley just wants to build a home where his daughter can play safely and grandparents can visit comfortably—that's the American Dream. Instead, they are facing government extortion."

The legal team explained Yu and his wife live with their 3-year-old daughter in a small, 1,000-square-foot home in East Palo Alto.

They need more room.

So they proposed building, on an adjacent lot they own, a new family home and detached accessory dwelling unit.

"The lawsuit argues the ordinance violates constitutional property rights established in Supreme Court cases including Cedar Point v. Hassid and Nollan v. California Coastal Commission. The Yu family's project would increase housing supply, not reduce it, yet the city demands mitigation as if the family were causing harm," the legal team charged.

The case, in federal court in San Francisco, seeks a court judgement that the city ordinances are unconstitutional conditions, an injunction prohibiting enforcement of the rules, and an award of costs and fees.

For Iran, now is the first time in over a century – since the 1907 Constitutional Revolution, inspired by the French Revolution – the dream of freedom feels truly within reach. The vision ahead is bold and clear: a secular republic founded on the separation of religion and state, gender equality, the elimination of nuclear weapons, an end to executions, no compulsory hijab or forced religion, and no authoritarian rule. This vision includes ethnic autonomy, peace with neighboring countries, and peaceful coexistence with the world.

But this path has been anything but easy. The cost has been staggering – over 100,000 lives lost in the pursuit of freedom. The Iranian people's resistance has been crushed repeatedly, at times coming close to complete destruction. It has indeed been a perilous journey, where patriots continually walk a fine line between liberty and death. Yet, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the movement has once again soared toward the peaks of freedom.

The radical Islamic dictatorship sees its survival as tied to the destruction of Iran's resistance – especially the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), which forms the backbone of this struggle. But today, thanks to the unwavering persistence of the resistance, the tide is turning. The theocratic regime is on the brink of collapse, faced with a decentralized resistance movement built on thousands of grassroots cells across the country – ready to pay any price for a brighter future. A future that belongs to the people, with no return to the terrible past.

Despite all the suffering, executions and even acts of genocide endured by the Iranian people, remnants of the monarchy remain trapped in delusion. They imagine that time has somehow reversed, and that the fall of religious tyranny will simply make way for the return of royal dictatorship. Perhaps this explains why Reza Pahlavi, son of the former Shah, is now seeking support from factions within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

On July 26, Reza Pahlavi hosted a gathering in Munich. In an interview with Politico, he claimed that more than 50,000 regime officials and military personnel had registered on a "secure platform" aimed at supporting the overthrow of the clerical regime. He also stated that he was in discussions with regime security and military forces about their potential role in toppling the religious dictator Ali Khamenei and forming a secular government.

From Shah to Mullah – and now from Mullah back to Shah?

Is this the cruel irony of history? The answer is clear: No. History does not move backward. The Pahlavi dictatorship cannot reclaim power on the blood of hundreds of thousands of freedom fighters – this time repackaged in the name of modernism.

On July 31, Maryam Rajavi, leader of the Iranian opposition, spoke at a conference in Rome attended by numerous European and American officials and lawmakers. She firmly stated that the religious dictatorship must be fully rejected in all its forms and factions. From the beginning, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has drawn a clear boundary excluding both the Mullahs and the Shah – because neither represents democracy.

She emphasized that the NCRI, whose legitimacy is rooted in four decades of resistance, views freedom as the sole measure of progress. It offers no privileges and allows no discrimination based on belief. Every citizen – whether religious or not – must enjoy equal rights under the law.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, also present at the Rome conference, commented on Reza Pahlavi:

"This man has done nothing. He shouldn't even be allowed to run a health company. Given his ties to the IRGC – a designated terrorist organization – this could be considered criminal. Reza Pahlavi is a traitor to the Iranian people. A free Iran is within reach because the MEK is the only group with the courage to make it possible."

Pahlavi's claims of contact with segments of the regime and the IRGC, supposedly to help lead a transition to democracy, are nothing more than a bitter and grotesque farce. In truth, such actions serve only to prolong the life of a theocratic regime on the verge of collapse. Just as he helped derail the 2022 uprising, he now seeks to prevent the next one – by sowing confusion and doubt within the ranks of the opposition.

A fight to hold accountable a cop who framed a teen for a crime she did not commit and watched her go to prison for two years is being elevated.

The Institute for Justice confirms it is seeking a review by the full 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals after a panel affirmed the dismissal of a civil rights case brought on behalf of Hamdi Mohamud.

She sued St. Paul officer Heather Weyker, "who framed Mohamud in 2011," the IJ explained.

"Because Weyker was working on a state-federal task force and cross-deputized as a federal officer at the time, the court held that Weyker cannot be held accountable for fabricating evidence that put then-teenaged Mohamud behind bars for nearly two years," the IJ charged.

It now will petition the entire 8th Circuit for en banc review so that all active judges may reconsider the panel's decision.

"Today's decision is deeply disappointing," said Patrick Jaicomo, senior attorney at the Institute for Justice. "Despite clear evidence that Officer Weyker lied to frame Hamdi, the courts continue to grant her immunity. No constitutional right is safe if judges invent or maintain loopholes for officers who flout the law."

The decision being targeted was from a three-judge panel of the court.

"At the heart of Mohamud v. Weyker is a growing accountability gap created when local police officers join work cooperatively with federal officers on task forces. Ordinarily, a federal law known as 'Section 1983' allows victims to sue state and local officers who violate the Constitution. But when those officers work alongside federal colleagues, courts tend to bless them with sweeping immunities that leave their victims with no legal remedy. This long-running is a case in point," the IJ charged.

It reported in 2019, the Eighth Circuit first held that Weyker could not hide behind qualified immunity because "a reasonable officer would know that deliberately misleading another officer into arresting an innocent individual to protect a sham investigation is unlawful," the legal team explained.

Then a year later the court claimed Weyker could not be sued "as a federal officer," but that Mohamud had to show Weyker was acting as a state officer.

The IJ presented extensive documentation describing how Weyker was working as a state officer—on a St. Paul led task force with its mission to benefit Minnesota.

But the decision disregarded the evidence, the IJ said.

"Today's decision allows Officer Weyker to escape scot-free for framing an innocent teenager. But IJ will continue the legal battle by appealing this case to the full Eighth Circuit and, if necessary, Supreme Court," the IJ said.

For the first time, Americans can see exactly how a major U.S. employer outsources American jobs, not in vague terms, but through formal documentation. A binding contract between Prudential Financial Inc. and Cognizant Technology Solutions lays out a step-by-step playbook for eliminating American jobs and shifting the work to foreign workers overseas.

This isn't theory, it's in writing. The document provides rare black-and-white evidence of how U.S.-based work is "transitioned" out of the country. While Americans have heard stories about being forced to train their replacements, this agreement reveals the actual process behind those headlines: how Prudential worked with Cognizant to plan, schedule and execute a full transfer of work to offshore teams, with American employees pushed out in the process.

The devil is in the details: The betrayal in black and white

Section 1.1(b) of the agreement openly states that the work previously handled by Prudential employees would be "eliminated" and reassigned to Cognizant. These weren't new jobs. They were the same roles Americans had been doing – application support, software maintenance, reporting – all now classified as functions to be transitioned out.

The language is careful but clear. Cognizant wouldn't just be stepping in to help; it was there to take over. The contract also gave Cognizant the right to perform any "incidental" tasks needed to complete the work, even if not spelled out directly. In other words, it had wide authority to expand its control over operations once embedded.

The built-in replacement plan

The contract's Transition Services section describes the process by which Cognizant would assume responsibility for Prudential's internal IT operations. A detailed transition plan was required, complete with milestone dates and task lists, all designed to avoid disruptions to business continuity. But what the contract avoids saying outright is what's plainly obvious: This plan definitively phases out American workers in favor of a lower-cost, offshore workforce.

This wasn't a case of hiring extra help. It was a direct replacement strategy. Cognizant was required to observe how Prudential's in-house team handled the work, copy it, and then eventually take it over – permanently. The agreement mandated a phased approach so the transfer wouldn't appear sudden. But behind the corporate phrasing was the harsh reality: The American team had to teach the offshore team how to do their jobs before being let go.

American workers forced to hand over their jobs

The agreement also makes it clear that Prudential would manage the entire transition internally. The company appointed project leads and gave Cognizant open access to internal systems, documents and staff. These staff were expected to help onboard the new offshore teams. But the contract offered them no job protection, no bonus, no role in the future structure. Their job was to help with the transition … and then leave.

Foreign labor in, American labor out

From the very first deliverables listed, it's clear what this contract was meant to do. The top priority: "Set up an offshore development center," or ODC. That's a dedicated office or facility in another country, in India in this case, where a foreign team will take over work that was once done in the U.S. This ODC becomes the new home base for handling core operations.

Right after that came the requirement to build and carry out a "knowledge transition plan," which is the process of transferring everything the American workers knew to the new offshore team. These steps weren't optional, they were the foundation of the entire deal. The rest – maintenance, bug fixes, reporting and support – were tasks already being done by U.S. employees. Now, those responsibilities were being prepared for transfer abroad.

Engineered dependence on foreign labor

The contract also included a unique clause about "non-billable" consulting hours. For every dollar Prudential spent, it received free consulting hours from Cognizant. But here's the catch: Those hours were heavily weighted toward India-based services. Once Prudential spent over $1 million in a month, it earned up to 800 hours of free offshore consulting, far more than what it would get from U.S.-based support. That structure created a clear incentive: The more Prudential outsourced to India, the more "free" services it received. The longer it stayed with Cognizant's offshore model, the deeper its dependence became.

They even set up what's called a Center of Excellence, or CoE, a permanent team focused on building deep expertise around Prudential's systems. This team, made up mostly of Indian business analysts and engineers, was responsible for mastering the technology, guiding decisions and supporting long-term operations. Although the contract labeled this effort "non-billable," meaning Prudential didn't pay extra for it, the long-term effect was significant. It wasn't just about supporting the transition, it was about anchoring control overseas.

The transition team: Locked out for good

As part of the transition, Cognizant assigned two full-time managers: an account manager and a transition manager. These weren't back-office roles, they were embedded into Prudential's leadership chain, given the responsibility to oversee the transition and manage future staffing. They represented Cognizant's permanent leadership presence inside Prudential's operations. While Cognizant controls the operation, Prudential still directs staffing decisions, and there is a clause prohibiting Cognizant from rehiring former Prudential employees unless Prudential explicitly allows it. That means even if laid-off American workers wanted to come back through the vendor, they couldn't. Their exit is final and contractually reinforced.

That clause closed the door on U.S. workers returning under the new model, even if they were qualified. They had trained their replacements and that was the end of the road – for them.

The technology transfer and foreign control

Another section lays out the software licensing structure: Prudential granted Cognizant, including its India-based affiliates, full legal rights to use its proprietary software systems to perform services. That meant Indian offshore teams were authorized to access and operate systems containing personally identifiable information (PII) and sensitive financial data tied to Prudential's American clients. Cognizant assumed liability for its offshore teams' use of the software, but the control and the data were now fully remote.
