There are many American-made products in the home goods category that I could name, but this time I'm listing items I have personally bought, used, and like.

My wife and I have relocated from Orlando to St. Louis, and the new area offers an education of regional brands specific to where we now live. As we accent our new home, we have chosen many American-made products we may have otherwise not been considering.

Many politicians, media personalities and social media activists are urging America to unity after the weekend's failed attempted assassination of President Donald Trump.

The 20-year-old assailant was shot and killed by police.

But one analysis suggests that such "unity" won't happen – because of the agenda of one party.

It is John Daniel Davidson, an executive with The Federalist, who pointed out, “You can’t incessantly use rhetoric designed to incite violence and then call for calm when violence inevitably erupts.”

He pointed out that Joe Biden, after the attack on Trump, wanted "unity." So did Kamala Harris "and scores of other Democrats."

But Davidson, senior editor at the Federalist whose writings have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Post and more, said it's "not going to happen."

"There can be no unity with the people and institutions who have spent years whipping the left into a violent frenzy over Trump. This goes for Democrats and the corporate media alike," he explained.

"President Biden has spent the last few years declaring over and over that Trump is a 'threat to democracy.' Everyone is outraged about Biden's recent call with donors when he said it's 'time to put Trump in the bull's-eye,' but far worse rhetoric from Biden has been commonplace for years."

He cited Biden's "infamous Red Wedding speech in Philadelphia," when he addressed the nation and insisted that his political opponents are a threat to democracy, a message he's harped on constantly since then.

Davidson explained it's more than Biden, as, "Democrats and the media have encouraged political violence against Trump for years, with a constant stream of overheated rhetoric designed to provoke riots, terrorist attacks, and assassinations."

He said, "Now that their rhetoric has led to an actual assassination attempt against Trump, they say they want to cool the rhetoric and call for national unity. I don't think so. You don't smack someone in the face with a hammer and then insist everyone needs to calm down."

One of the Democrats' favorite mantras is that Trump is a "Hitler."

"The June issue of The New Republic is devoted to comparing Trump to Hitler, one of the greatest mass murders in human history. It's full of essays about how grim life will be under Dictator Trump. The editors justified this…"

Its speculation is about "all the ways Trump will destroy America if he wins a second term."

In fact, writer David Frum declared, "the gunman and Trump, at their opposite ends of a bullet's trajectory, are nonetheless joined together as common enemies of law and democracy."

The Democrats created the narrative of Trump as an agent of a "malign foreign power" and "they never let go of that narrative."

Essentially, such rhetoric is "routine" for Democrats.

Just on Friday, Biden charged, "I mean this from the bottom of my heart, Trump is a threat to this nation."

Davidson noted, "The purpose of such talk was to prepare the ground for an attempt on Trump's life, and it worked. After all, if you believe a second Trump term will usher in a fascist dictatorship then surely it's morally justified, arguably even your duty, to do whatever it takes to stop him."

Further, Democrats took action on their agenda, already trying to deprive Trump of Secret Service protection if certain events occur.

"To most people, that looks like a deliberate attempt to make it as likely as possible that something like Saturday's attack on Trump's life would happen — and succeed," he wrote, and, "That's why Democrat calls for unity and calm ring hollow now. They don't want unity and calm, they want violence."

The shockwaves from the attempted assassination of former President Donald J. Trump have not only rippled across the U.S., but into other nations as well, namely America's adversaries like the People's Republic of China.

Trump was shot at during a rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, Saturday, and sustained an injured ear. One innocent bystander was killed and another rally-goer was critically injured. The would-be assassin, 20-year-old Thomas Crooks, was dispatched by security snipers after firing his AR-15 style weapon into the crowd from a nearby roof.

China’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement Sunday in which it said Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed his sympathies for Trump.

"China is following the shooting incident at the campaign rally of former U.S. President Donald Trump. President Xi Jinping has expressed sympathies to former President Trump." the statement said.

A tense political environment has been blamed for the attempted assassination, and some Chinese political academics agree. Chinese state-owned media the Global Times, interviewed several experts on who or what was really behind the assassination attempt.

Li Haidong, a professor from the China Foreign Affairs University, said the background of the shooter could have three distinct possibilities.

"First, it could be someone from the deep state, an elusive force within the government that does not want to see Trump win. Second, it could be from the far-left extremist forces, who do not want to see Trump, representing the far-right, win the election and thus have taken radical actions. Lastly, it could be an individual extremist without any organizational background, simply a person who is tired of Trump," Li told the Global Times.

Another Chinese professor, Diao Daming from the Renmin University of China in Beijing, told the Global Times gun violence in the U.S. is to blame, and added political violence is a "persistent element" in the U.S.

"Political violence has been a persistent element in American history. On the other hand, the fact that such malicious incidents still occur at political rallies attended by former president, despite security measures, highlights the ongoing rampant gun violence issue in the U.S. and the seeming 'intractability' of the problem," Diao said, adding, "This kind of revenge politics, manifested through violence, is a clear indicator of this shift."

Former editor-in-chief of the Global Times Hu Xijin – who had previously stated the first presidential debate between Trump and President Biden was "very entertaining" for many Chinese people – stated the assassination attempt will garner a lot of "sympathy" votes for Trump in the coming election.

"It's shocking. Besides, my feeling is that the shot will win #Trump a lot of sympathy, and he seems to be one step closer to returning to the White House," Hu said on X.

Chinese business owners didn't miss a beat when it came to making a profit from what could have been a tragic day in the U.S., quickly selling dozens of t-shirts online minutes after the shooting occurred at the rally. The t-shirts showed Trump with a bloodied face and his fist raised in the air.

Chinese social media platform Weibo has also been blowing up about the attempted assassination, with posts reaching over 450 million views. Some Chinese social media users implied Trump had "designed" the event.

Other Chinese citizens have taken to X to show their support for Trump.

Others criticized the U.S. media for wrongfully identifying the shooter as a Chinese man.

Democrats have held a deep-seated hatred of President Donald Trump since he launched his first bid for the presidency. They manufactured the "Russia, Russia, Russia" lies, they attacked every word he said and every move he made, they schemed to create claims they would use politically for a failed impeachment-and-remove attempt. And then another.

All the while they've insisted over and over – and publicly – that he actually is a "Hitler," suggesting that he must be stopped by any means necessary.

Most legacy media ideologues have been willing co-conspirators to that agenda. And over the weekend when a 20-year-old Democrat donor tried to assassinate him with a sniper rifle, the headlines stunned with their bias.

CNN, for example, wildly claimed, right after the shooting, "Secret Service rushes Trump off stage after he falls at rally."

"Falls at rally?"

Would this be because a sniper's bullet grazed his ear and he reacted by ducking down, to take himself out of the line of fire for followup shots?

Fox News said CNN’s report was that “the former president had merely fallen off a stage.”

The headline angered conservative lawmakers, as well as others on social media, who described the headline as "conscious deception" and "disgraceful."

"'Falls at rally'? Is this a real headline? This is disgraceful," Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., responded. And Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., said, "Even in a horrifying moment such as this they just can't help themselves."

The shooter quickly was taken down – fatally – by law enforcement.

Donald Trump Jr. also cited the media bias.

"Someone attempted to assassinate my father tonight and this is what @CNN is focused on. These people are vile," Trump Jr. said on social media.

CNN explained the headline was unleashed "before we had 100% confirmation of details surrounding the assassination attempt on former President Trump,"

But other publications had joined, including the Washington Post, which said, "Trump escorted away after loud noises at Pa. rally."

Social media commenters had no tolerance for the media agenda: "Your bias is disgusting," said one.

Sky News, a Comcast-owned British outlet, also blamed the victim, with, "Nothing justified an assassination bid – but did Trump play a part in changing the rules of engagement?"

No explanation for how Trump changed the "rules of engagement" for assassination attempts.

Musician Winston Marshall posted on social media the outlet is "the winner for the most disgraceful, disgusting MSM headline."

"Straight to blaming the victim," Marshall said.

Eventually, the headline was changed to "US politics is laced with malevolence and division – it needs a reset."

But story writer James Matthews continued to blame, pointing out "there were reminders from Trump opponents about how, in the past, he had joked about the brutal assault on the husband of former Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi."

Not to be outdone by the media, various Hollywood personalities joined in with their claims, including actress Amanda Seales, who smeared egg all over her face claiming, "That —- was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President."

JERUSALEM – Israel's coalition ministers warned Sunday the level of incitement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could lead to an assassination attempt on the long-term premier.

In the wake of the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania Saturday, Netanyahu's political allies threw their support behind the prime minister, effectively warning the same thing could happen in Israel.

In an X post, Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichay Chikli published two images side-by-side; the first was The New Republic’s representation on the front cover of its latest publication
of Trump-as-Hitler, while the second was a black-and-white image of Netanyahu, with a red hand-print – a symbol for murderous violence following the lynching of two IDF soldiers in Ramallah in 2000 – over his face.

"[The] assassination attempt against former President Trump is a direct result of the incitement and delegitimization campaign against him."

"In Israel, a horrifyingly identical campaign of incitement is being waged against Prime Minister Netanyahu and enjoys complete immunity from the attorney general and the law enforcement system solely because it is coming from the 'right' direction. Shame," he wrote.

Settlement Minister Orit Strook said she was concerned after the attempt on Trump. "There are credible threats against Netanyahu that must be dealt with," she said in an interview. "If those threats were made from the right, there would be administrative detentions. There is incitement to attack Netanyahu and nothing is being done," she said. In a post on X, she showed a letter copied to all government ministers and dated July 1, asking for a "review from the heads of the enforcement and intelligence systems on the handling policy on the issue."

Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi also took to X to claim the situation against the prime minister in Israel is doubly grave. "The serious incitement against Netanyahu, his wife [Sara], and son [Yair], is closer to being implemented than ever before." He further argued the attorney general was not only allowing but rather encouraging this to continue.

Both Sara and Yair Netanyahu – the latter of whom is the elder of the prime minister's two sons – are controversial and divisive figures in their own right. Sara Netanyahu is said to wield outsized political power for an unelected official, and Yair too, whom Bibi has co-opted as a political adviser has often fought some of his father's battles – particularly aiming invective at political opponents online. It also cannot be avoided that Netanyahu Jr. is holed up in the luxury Miami apartment of one of the prime minister's billionaire U.S. backers. This can be held up in sharp relief to other senior political figures – in particular former IDF chief of staff and former war cabinet member Gadi Eisenkot – who lost both one of his sons and a nephew in the Gaza fighting. Whatever the wrongs and rights of the situation, Yair Netanyahu has been conspicuous by his absence.

Meanwhile, Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar says, "We need to do everything in order to stop the extremist and violent dialogue here in Israel too before it's too late."

There is no doubt Netanyahu is unpopular, with a Channel 12 poll published Friday showing 72% of Israelis think he should resign over the Oct. 7 debacle. Forty-four percent said he should quit immediately, while 28% argued it should be after the conclusion of the war. Of the people polled who said they were Netanyahu supporters, 50% said he must leave office before his term's completion. However, it is not entirely clear – despite growing weekly protests against Netanyahu, his government, and the lack of a hostage deal – that the situation in either Israeli politics or civil society is akin to the atmosphere immediately prior to Yitzhak Rabin's assassination in November 1995.

One aspect of unanimity among Israel's politicians, however, was in their response to the attempted Trump assassination. At the start of the cabinet's weekly session Sunday, Netanyahu took a moment to address the situation in the U.S. Speaking from Jerusalem, he said the shooting was "not only a heinous crime [but] an attempt to assassinate American democracy."

In the early hours of Sunday morning, he wrote on X that he and his family were praying for the former president's well-being. He followed it up later in the day Sunday with a video posted to X.

Israel's 11th President Isaac Herzog also expressed the nation's alarm at the events in Pennsylvania. He wished Trump a speedy recovery, while condemning "utterly and unequivocally the attempt on his life."

Former prime ministers Naftali Bennett, Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid all chimed in with expressions of support for Trump, and mirrored each other's horror at the assassination attempt.

GOP presidential hopeful Donald J. Trump, just as the Republican National Convention was getting under way on Monday, announced U.S. Sen. JD Vance as his 2024 running mate.

Vance of Ohio has been a vocal ally of Trump, and at 39, would be one of the youngest vice presidents ever.

Vance long had been considered a top option for Trump, and the choice was announced only days after Trump escaped an assassin's bullet during a Butler, Pennsylvania, rally.

Vance, over the weekend, blamed Democrats for the rhetoric, the atmosphere, and the political weaponization that Democrats have brought against Trump and resulted in the shooting.

"The central premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs. That rhetoric led directly to President Trump's attempted assassination," the senator explained on social media.

Leftist publications immediately pointed out that the choice means that "the Republican Party's 2024 ticket with (sic) have neither a woman nor a person of color on it."

Kamala Harris, vice president for Joe Biden, is a woman and a person of color, and has had a noticeably small impact on American policy and practice during her time as lady-in-waiting on Biden.

Trump's announcement noted, "After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of vice president of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the great state of Ohio. J.D. honorably served our country in the Marine Corps, graduated from Ohio State University in two years, Summa Cum Laude, and is a Yale Law School Graduate, where he was editor of The Yale Law Journal, and president of the Yale Law Veterans Association.

"J.D.'s book, 'Hillbilly Elegy,' became a major best seller and movie, as it championed the hardworking men and women of our country. J.D. has had a very successful business career in technology and finance, and now, during the campaign, will be strongly focused on the people he fought so brilliantly for, the American workers and farmers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, and far beyond…."

Conservatives and pro-life activists, who have been concerned about moves in the GOP to ease up on its agenda for a nationwide pro-life law, were enthused.

SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser said, "J.D. Vance is an exceptional selection as President Trump's running mate. His courage in exposing the Democrats' agenda of abortion for any reason, even in the seventh, eighth, or ninth month, helped propel him to a decisive victory in the 2022 midterm elections.

"Vance's hardscrabble upbringing informs his compassionate approach to this issue. He saw firsthand how the deck can be stacked against women facing unexpected pregnancies if they do not have the support and resources they need, even though most would rather choose life. His ability to compellingly share these stories on a national stage will surely be an asset. During his time in the Senate, he has earned an A+ on our Scorecard. With approximately 750,000 babies in states like California and New York still lacking basic protections, we need champions whose boldness will not waver."

Vance grew up in Jackson, Kentucky, and Middletown, Ohio, and detailed his memories of a children impacted by poverty and abuse in his memoir, released in 2016.

His mother struggled with drug addiction and he spent years with his grandmother.

He joined the Marines after high school and served in Iraq.

His wife, Usha Vance, is a litigator for a law firm based in San Francisco and Washington. They met at Yale Law and married a year after they graduated, in 2013.

They have three young children: Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.

He was elected to the Senate in 2022, when he defeated ex-Rep. Tim Ryan, a Democrat, in the race for an open Senate seat.

He's been critical of Trump in the past, but adjusted his comments for his 2022 Senate run, crediting Trump for his accomplishments while in the White House.

Vance supports tariffs on trade and opposes U.S. military intervention in foreign wars, especially between Russia and Ukraine, and he's opposed potential cuts to Social Security.

His Senate accomplishments include bipartisan work on rail safety and failed banks.

He's also unabashedly conservative, with legislation proposed to ban what trangender-promoting activists call gender-affirming "care," actually the use of chemicals and body mutilating surgeries to try to change a boy into a girl, or vice versa, even though that, scientifically, is impossible.

A federal judge on Monday dismissed Jack Smith's created classified documents case against President Donald Trump because Smith's appointment violated the Constitution.

Constitutional expert Jonathan Turley said, “The dismissal of the classified documents case is a seismic development. From the beginning of all of these cases, I have said that the Mar-a-Lago case was the greatest threat to the former president. It is now dismissed.”

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon said the Biden administration, in its "lawfare" against Trump, illegally handed the authority of the United States government to a prosecutor who was not confirmed by the Senate.

Critics pointed out that the maneuvers Democrats followed handed the authority of the government to, more or less, an average citizen who held no authority to prosecute anyone.

Cannon's ruling said, "Former President Trump's motion to dismiss indictment based on the unlawful appointment and funding of special counsel Jack Smith is granted in accordance with this order … The superseding indictment is dismissed because special counsel Smith's appointment violates the Appointments Clause of the United States Constitution. … Special counsel Smith's use of a permanent indefinite appropriation also violates the Appropriations Clause … but the court need not address the proper remedy for that funding violation given the dismissal on Appointments Clause grounds."

Trump also had pointed out that the FBI already had confessed that it destroyed exculpatory evidence during its stunning, armed 2022 raid on his Mar-a-Lago residence.

Trump's filings with the court suggested a political motivation in the case. His team, in fact, had been working with federal officials to address disputes over what Trump was entitled to have as papers from his administration and what the government wanted returned when the FBI launched its SWAT-style assault on Trump's home.

The issue of Smith's appointment already had been raised in the U.S. Supreme Court, where Justice Clarence Thomas, in his own opinion in a recent case on Trump's immunity for acts while in office, openly suggested Smith was not appointed legally in the scheme by Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Thomas said Smith was not a Senate-confirmed U.S. attorney.

"Even if the special counsel has a valid office, questions remain as to whether the attorney general filled that office in compliance with the Appointments Clause," Thomas charged. "For example, it must be determined whether the special counsel is a principal or inferior officer. If the former, his appointment is invalid because the special counsel was not nominated by the president and confirmed by the Senate, as principal officers must be."

Bret Baier of Fox News spoke with Trump by phone, and indicated Trump said: "I am thrilled that a judge had the courage and wisdom to do this. This has big, big implications … This is a big, big deal. It only makes this convention more positive."

Trump, at the Republican National Convention this week, also confirmed he's going to announce his pick for vice president Monday.

Trump's lawyers said since Smith's appointment violated the Constitution that left Smith essentially a "private citizen" without any authority whatsoever. That position had been supported by former attorneys general under George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan.

Thomas had written "None of the statutes cited by the attorney general appears to create an office for the special counsel, and especially not with the clarity typical of past statutes used for that purpose," Thomas said. Congress gave the attorney general the power to appoint "additional officers … as he deems necessary" — but, only for the Bureau of Prisons.

Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey wrote in a commentary only days ago, "The Constitution's Appointments Clause limits how executive offices can be created and how they may be filled. Before the Revolution, the king could both create and fill offices. The Constitution eliminated that power by giving Congress the authority to create offices or to authorize their creation in specific instances, and requiring the advice and consent of the Senate before the president could fill certain offices. It empowers the president to nominate and appoint 'officers of the United States' not specifically provided for in the Constitution only with the advice and consent of the Senate, and only to offices 'which shall be established by Law.' The Appointments Clause does allow for the appointment of officers by the president, a court or the head of a department—such as the attorney general—but, again, only when such appointment is permitted 'by Law.'"

He pointed out Smith's appointment lacked any authority under the "Law."

The ruling identifies the push for the "lawfare" against Trump at the highest levels of the Department of Justice, a department Trump has accused Joe Biden of weaponizing against him.

The case also had confirmed Trump's charges of a two-tiered justice system in America. Another "special counsel" found that Joe Biden had knowingly and willingly taken classified documents to which he was not entitled and kept them. He used them with a ghost writer who was working for him. And he stored them in his home, his private office and even in a relatively unsecured garage.

But the counsel, Robert Hur, recommended against charges against the octegenarian, citing his "diminished" mental abilities.

His decision sent Democrats supporting Biden for another term in office into a rage.

A settlement has been reached that will hold accountable the pro-abortion radicals who attacked Heartbeat of Miami, a faith-based ministry that provides life-affirming programs and support to women and couples facing unplanned pregnancies, according to First Liberty Institute.

"While we cannot publicly discuss the specifics of the settlement quite yet, the vandals associated with Jane's Revenge who sought to injure, intimidate, and interfere with access to Heart of Miami, and several Florida pregnancy resource centers, will be held to account," the organization announced.

A case was launched last year by First Liberty and volunteer lawyers from Lawson Huck Gonzalez to seek accountability from those who defaced and spray-painted threatening messages on the private property.

Annarella Rivera then allegedly joined Caleb Freestone on September 17, 2022, to hack their way onto Heartbeat's guest list, giving them access to Heartbeat's annual gala where they shouted obscenities, disparaged Heartbeat's staff, volunteers, and supporters, and leafletted the venue with propaganda."

That an out-of-control extremist tried to assassinate President Donald Trump during a campaign event on Saturday was a surprise, but it really shouldn't have been that big of a surprise.

It's because, "For months, politicians, the press and pundits have escalated reckless rhetoric in this campaign on both sides. That includes claims that Trump was set to kill democracy, unleash 'death squads' and make homosexuals and reporters 'disappear.'"

That’s the verdict delivered from Jonathan Turley, a prominent legal commentator, constitutional expert in his testimony to Congress and law professor at George Washington University.

He explained, "President Biden has stoked this rage rhetoric. In 2022, Biden held his controversial speech before Independence Hall where he denounced Trump supporters as enemies of the people. Biden recently referenced the speech and has embraced the claims that this could be our last democratic election."

He said it's not the nation's first "age of rage," but it might be the most dangerous.

"Some of us have been objecting for years that this rage rhetoric is a dangerous political pitch for the nation. While most people reject the hyperbolic claims, others take it as true. They believe that homosexuals are going to be 'disappeared' as claimed on ABC's 'The View' or that the Trump 'death squads' are now green lighted by a conservative Supreme Court, as claimed by MSNBC's Rachel Maddow."

He continued, "Rage is addictive and contagious. It is also liberating. It allows people a sense of license to take actions that would ordinarily be viewed as repulsive."

It started as soon as Trump was elected, with entertain Kathy Griffin's stunt where she held a "bloody, severed head" of Trump.

"For months, people have heard politicians and press call Trump 'Hitler' and the GOP a Nazi movement. Some compared stopping Trump to stopping Hitler in 1933. Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., declared Trump 'is not only unfit, he is destructive to our democracy and he has to be eliminated," the column explained,

Turley noted he doesn't think those engaged in "rage rhetoric" actually want violence.

"But they have knowingly created conditions for extremist views and, yes, extremist actions."

And the media's culpability is clear, as it denounces such language from the right, "while largely ignoring the same language on the left."

Such as threats against conservative Supreme Court justices before the assassination plot against Brett Kavanaugh.

Turley explained, "Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., went to the steps of the Supreme Court and called out Kavanaugh by name: 'I want to tell you, (Justice Neil) Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.'"

Later, Nicholas Roske went arrested year the Kavanaugh's home, caught in in an alleged assassination plot.

"When the president (Biden) is claiming that the election may end democracy in the nation, it can be heard as much as a license as a warning, particularly when he adds 'we're done talking about the debate, it's time to put Trump in a bull's-eye.'"

"It occurred in a time when our leaders long abandoned reason for rage."

The man in the audience who was shot and killed at President Donald Trump's political rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday has been identified as Corey Comperatore, who recently turned 50.

He was the former fire chief for Buffalo Township, Pennsylvania.

His daughter, Allyson Comperatore said, "He was the best dad a girl could ever ask for."

"He was a man of God, loved Jesus fiercely, and also looked after our church and members as family.

"The media will not tell you that he died a real-life superhero. They are not going to tell you how quickly he threw my mom and I to the ground. They are not going to tell you that he shielded my body from the bullet that came at us."

Corey’s sister, Dawn Comperatore Schafer, said: “The hatred for one man took the life of the one man we loved the most. He was a hero that shielded his daughters.

"His wife and girls just lived through the unthinkable and unimaginable. My baby brother just turned 50 and had so much life left to experience. Hatred has no limits and love has no bounds. Pray for my sister-in-law, nieces, my mother, sister, me and his nieces and nephews as this feels like a terrible nightmare but we know it is our painful reality."

Gov. Josh Shapiro, D-Pa., held a news conference Sunday, and said: "Corey was a girl dad. Corey was a firefighter. Corey went to church every Sunday. Corey loved his community and, most off all, Corey loved his family."

"Corey died a hero," he stressed. "Corey dove on his family to protect them last night at this rally. Corey was the very best of us."

"Political disagreements can never ever be addressed through violence," Shapiro continued.

This is a moment where all leaders have a responsibility to … take down the temperature."

Meanwhile, Nicole Parker, a former FBI agent and Fox News contributor, said: "This is an epic failure by the United States Secret Service."

"The vitriol in this country is awful, it's disgusting."

She also blasted federal security agencies under Joe Biden for having their priorities out of whack.

"They seem to be focused on the wrong things," she said.
