French authorities have announced an investigation into the apparent "Heil Hitler" salutes that appeared at the already-troubled Paris Olympic Games now taking place.
The Jewish Telegraph Agency reported fans waved Palestinian flags and gave Nazi salutes this week.
It happened during the playing of Israel's national anthem before the nation's soccer match against Paraguay.
The event disrupters also flew a banner reading "Genocide Olympics."
According to JTA, "Olympics organizers confirmed the incident in a statement to Sky Sports, saying 'a banner bearing a political message was displayed and anti-Semitic gestures were made.' Paris 2024 strongly condemns these acts. A complaint has been lodged by Paris 2024, which is at the disposal of the authorities to assist with the investigation."
The probe comes as French police already were looking into death threats against three Israeli athletes.
Jonathan Greenblatt of the Anti-Defamation League said the behavior was "Outrageous and unacceptable."
The games already were being disregarded by many because of what appeared to be an opening ceremony that was openly hostile to Christianity, with a blasphemous portrayal of the Last Supper.

A focus group assembled by the leftist MSNBC went off the rails for the organization when members were unanimous in confirming they know a black man supporting President Donald Trump.
And that the entry into the race of Kamala Harris, whose heritage is Jamaican and Indian, makes no difference.
All hands went up when the MSNBC host asked, "How many of you know a black man who has expressed to you that they're committed to voting for Donald Trump?"
And all four shook their heads no when MSNBC asked, "Has the emergence of Kamala Harris changed that?"
On social media was the comment, "Whoops! I don't think that was the answer the network was looking for!'
At the Gateway Pundit was an explanation:
"It's anecdotal, but MSNBC has held some focus groups that have been brutal to Kamala Harris. In Wisconsin, swing voters are worried about her involvement in a cover-up regarding the decline of Joe Biden's health. It's a character issue. What else is she willing to hide if she's willing to conceal these developments? CNN spoke to a Georgia voter who shared the same sentiments. Now, this group of black men were asked if they knew other members of their community who intended to vote for Donald Trump. They all raised their hands."
The comments continued, "The cancer of identity politics seems to be contained to college-educated white women who have become insufferable, even to self-identified liberals. Sure, some non-white progressives espouse this nonsense, but it's a wholly white progressive invention as they're the most intense on these issues.

Just exactly how the Department of Justice investigates foreign nationals sent to spy on the United States now needs to be under investigation, too.
That's according to Republicans in the U.S. House who are calling on the Government Accountability Office to launch that review.
Published reports reveal that Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the head of the House Oversight Committee, says he's learned that Chinese nationals are posing as tourists, or sometimes delivery truck drivers, to "access" U.S. military bases.
Joining Comer in his comments was Glenn Grothmann, of Wisconsin, the head of the House Subcommittee on National Security, the Border and Foreign Affairs.
Those base invasions have happened as many as 100 times over recent years, the Washington Times reported.
"The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating how the U.S. Department of Justice investigates and prosecutes foreign nationals sent to the United States to collect sensitive information but are not professionally trained intelligence officers (IO), or 'nontraditional collectors,'" the members of Congress told GAO Comptroller General Gene Dodaro.
Foreign intelligence organizations often utilize traditional intelligence officers for higher-risk collection, but they also use nontraditional collectors such as foreign nationals on student visas to collect less high-risk information, they charged.
"While these individuals might not be professionally trained intelligence officers, they may still be positioned and motivated to collect information aimed at jeopardizing U.S. national security," they said.

Officials with 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are offering an apology of sorts in connection with their intentional pagan reimagining of Jesus' Last Supper featuring an obese woman and drag queens, but many Christians are not accepting their sentiment.
"Clearly there was never intention to show disrespect to any religious group. On the contrary, we intended to show tolerance and community. If people have taken any offense we are, of course, really, really sorry," Paris 2024 spokesperson Anne Descamps told reporters.
But some online reaction to the statement is far from "apology accepted:"
"Sorry, @Olympics apology not accepted. There was no tolerance for Christians. In fact their God & their faith was attacked. You clearly announced in the beginning it was aimed at the last supper. Not a 'mistake' a miscalculation! Unacceptable! Demons and devil worship."
Robert Barron, the Catholic bishop of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester in Minnesota, posted a video saying, "It's anything but an apology. In fact it's kind of a masterpiece of woke duplicity."
"So we have a group of drag queens cavorting in a sort of sexually provocative way, clearly an imitation of DaVinci's Last Supper …
"I love this: 'We tried to celebrate community tolerance.' Yeah, tolerance, except for those pesky 2.6 billion Christians on the planet. Everyone's welcome, everyone's tolerated, all this lovely diversity until you get to anyone who disagrees with your ideology. …
"I wonder what planet they're living on if they think that harmony and peace and all this was achieved by this clear affront to Christians," the bishop continued.
"Christians were offended because it was offensive, and it was intended to be offensive, so please don't patronize us with this condescending remark about, 'Well, if you had any bad feelings we're awfully sorry about that.' Again, if people think this so somehow gonna mollify people all over the Christian world who are outraged by what happened, I would recommend thinking again.
"A real apology would be something like, this was a mistake, it should never have been done and we're sorry for it.' I don't think Christians should be mollified. I think we should keep raising our voices."
The Olympic imagery included an obese woman with a halo-like crown representing Jesus Christ in his final meal with His apostles, who were portrayed by drag queens and gay icons.
"The idea was to do a big pagan party linked to the gods of Olympus," Thomas Jolly, the opening ceremonies choreographer told the Paris-based BFM network on Sunday, according to France 24. "You'll never find in my work any desire to mock or denigrate anyone."
Mississippi-based telecommunications and technology company C Spire posted on X that it had pulled all of its advertising from the Olympics over the ceremony's mockery of painting created to show a biblical moment crucial to the Christian faith.
"We were shocked by the mockery of the Last Supper during the opening ceremonies of the Paris Olympics," the company posted. "C Spire will be pulling our advertising from the Olympics." The four-hour spectacle was held along the Seine River, featuring global stars like Celine Dion and Lady Gaga, both of whom are considered icons for the queer community.

Pat Boone has been releasing songs, well, just about forever. At age 90, his newest is called "Where Did America Go?" and it's earning the praise of Samaritan's Purse chief Franklin Graham.
"Pat Boone is a man who loves God and loves this country. I respect and appreciate him so much. At age 90, he has just released a new song 'Where Did America Go?' that should make us all stop and think – and pray for our nation," Graham wrote on social media.
On social media, Boone explained, "With this new song, I'm calling for us to come back together in the way that we were when this country became America. I hope you will connect with the truths in the lyrics of this song and find hope in the solutions that I present. I'm trying to put all these thoughts into words that we can all understand and agree with, and in a melody I think is singable and memorable. I hope you all enjoy the new track, and I hope that it resonates with you in these times."
A report at Decision Magazine noted Boone, "the iconic pop singer and devout Christian," reached stardom in the 1950s. He often was in competition with Elvis Presley for hits, fans and popularity.
The lyrics include, "That old Constitution / Still holds the solution. But we gave up our freedoms for sale."
The report cited Boone's concern that, "I don't see how America can keep going in this way. I'm deeply concerned. We've got elections coming up, maybe they'll make a difference. But I couldn't wait, I just felt I had to do something like my friend Bob Dylan did when we were in similar states of confusion."
The report explains, "The lyrics of the song call on listeners to reflect on the current state of division in the U.S."
And Boone described it as an alarm that America is in danger of losing its way.
More lyrics: "Can America still rise again? / Find our way back to where we were then? / Yes, that old Family Bible / Still holds our survival / It spells out the way we can win."

ActBlue is the billion-dollar fundraising operation that exists to pay for the Democrats' agenda in America.
Online, it boasts of collecting some $14 billion for Democrats since 2004. At this time its total was rising at the rate of about $1,000 per second.
It talks about "powering Democratic candidates & progressive causes across the country."
It also now is under investigation for possible criminal violations.
It is the Post-Millennial that explains the attorney general for the state of Virginia is reviewing allegations the Democrat money machine "has thousands of donations registered under stolen identities and names."
It was commentator and personality Charlie Kirk who said, online, that "It's trivially easy to find massive, repeated donations to ActBlue that use stolen identities and, quite possibly, stolen credit cards."
To which Virginia AG Jason Miyares explained, "My office is aware of these allegations and rest assured, we are looking into it."
The report explained the issue arose in Virginia because a 79-year-old resident living in an apartment at $2,000 a month was "recorded" as having made 22,619 separate donations since 2019.
Totaling more than $800,000.
Kirk, founder of TPUSA, said that "donor," "obviously (is) being exploited for some kind of money-laundering operation. ActBlue raises from all fifty states. We have fifty state AGs. When will one of them take action?"
It was NOVA Campaigns that had shared that Kerry Alberti, 79, was making thousands and thousands of donations each year.
The report said, "ActBlue has been the subject of multiple investigations from O'Keefe Media Group, where people on fixed incomes have their names attached on thousands of donations to Democrats, amounting to tens of thousands of dollars. ActBlue claims that it is the home of 'small-dollar donors' for those on the left. The donation platform 'is available to Democratic candidates and committees, progressive organizations, and nonprofits that share our values for no cost besides a 3.95 percent processing fee on donations.'"

JERUSALEM – One of the immutable facts about the Middle East is if someone were going to say something extreme, it's more than likely it would be Turkey's in everything but name Caliph, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, doing it. And so it proved again late Sunday, as Turkey's president appeared to openly threaten Israel with invasion in support of the Palestinians.
Turkey must be "very strong so Israel can't do these things to the Palestinians," the Turkish leader said of the war with Hamas, now deep into its tenth month.
"Just as we entered [Nagorno-]Karabakh, just as we entered Libya, we might do the same to them. There is nothing we can't do. We must only be strong."
Nagorno-Karabakh is an area of Azerbaijan, which until 2023 was inhabited mostly by ethnic Armenians. Turkey provided material support – both logistics and drones – on the side of the Azerbaijanis, determined to drive the Armenians out. It must be noted the Turks have an infamous and disgraceful history with regard to ethnic Armenians – notoriously in the 1915-1916 Armenian Genocide in which approximately 600-000-1.5 million people were killed.
Erdogan's speech at a party meeting in Rize opened the floodgates for other political figures in Turkey – a country within the NATO alliance – to openly criticize Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, comparing the Jewish state's leader with Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, as well as misappropriating Turkey's colonial past to suggest defense of Muslims.
Turkey's president, who has permitted Hamas leaders and operatives to act freely within his country – amid rumors it could replace Qatar as the group's main benefactor – has been a fierce critic of Israel's defensive war against Hamas following the Oct. 7 atrocities.
In years past, Erdogan had a seemingly cordial relationship with both Israel in general and Netanyahu in particular. However, as he has led his country in a decidedly more Islamist direction and away from its more secular roots – and especially since the 2010 Mavi Marmara incident, in which IDF commandos boarded the ship as it attempted to block Israel's naval blockade of Gaza – Turkey's relationship with Israel has become extremely strained.
A brief thaw occurred in September 2023, when Turkey hosted both Netanyahu and Israel's President Isaac Herzog at the U.N. General Assembly in New York. Despite the diplomatic and economic strife between the two countries, Israel sent hundreds of people in specialist rescue teams to Turkey in the wake of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake, which devastated central parts of the country, taking thousands of lives. Erdogan even acknowledged Israel's help in attempting to find survivors among the rubble.
Numan Kurtulmuş, speaker of Turkey's National Assembly and someone who boasts nearly 3 million followers on X said, "The ugly post of the Israeli Foreign Minister shows they resorted to irrational behavior out of fear, seeing the massacres they committed were condemned both in international courts and in the conscience of humanity."
"These immoralities will never deter Turkey and our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who act together with the humanitarian front."
"Both the history of the Turks and the past of the Muslims are clear. Just as we stood for the oppressed and against the oppressors in the past, we will not compromise our stance in the future."
"Until the Palestinians are free!"
This was in response to Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz, who posted on X that Erdogan would go the same way as former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. "He [Hussein] threatened Israel, and look how that ended up," Katz warned.
Turkey's Foreign Ministry likened Netanyahu to Hitler, and said the Israeli leader's demise would be akin to the German dictator's denouement. A statement on X said, "Just as genocidal Hitler ended, so will genocidal Netanyahu."
"Just as the genocidal Nazis were held accountable, those who tried to destroy the Palestinians will also be held accountable."
"Humanity will stand with the Palestinians."
"You will not destroy the Palestinians."
Israel's Opposition Leader Yair Lapid pointed out "Erdogan is ranting and raving again. He is a danger to the Middle East … We won't accept threats from a wannabe dictator."
Geert Wilders, chairman of the Netherlands Freedom Party (PVV) labeled Erdogan an "Isalmofascist" and called for Turkey to be expelled from NATO.

Posturing from Russia has heated up after both Russian and Chinese jets were found in international airspace only 200 miles from Alaska, and joining the chorus are Russian broadcasters now saying it's "our Alaska."
Alaska was purchased from the Russian Empire in 1867 and was considered a "bargain basement deal. "For a price of $7.2 million (equivalent to $129 million in 2023), the oil- and resource-rich state has now become a coveted prize for Russia, which sits only 55 miles away at its closest point.
Russian broadcaster Olga Skabeyeva, host of Russia-1 program 60 Minutes, recently referred to Alaska as Russia's Alaska during a weekend show. Her co-host, Adalbi Shkhagoshev, who is also a deputy in Russia's parliament, commented on the interception of Russian and Chinese aircrafts.
"Our aircraft approached the borders of Alaska," Shkhagoshev said, before being corrected by Skabeyeva who said "our Alaska."
"Right now the head of the Pentagon is hiccupping nervously somewhere. You said 'our Alaska,' and he just said that if Russian and Chinese planes penetrate the territory that the U.S. considers its own, the U.S. is ready to enter the war," Skabeyeva said.
According to the Daily Express UK, it is a common belief among Russian TV personalities and propagandists that one day Alaska will once again belong to Russia, with some even calling for a strike to be made to seize back control.
U.S. lawmakers have expressed concerns over the interception, with Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, calling for more military resources to the area.
"As I have been warning our Pentagon leaders for years, these kinds of joint Russia and China incursions on the sea and in the air near Alaska will continue," Sullivan said in a statement. "For that reason, the United States needs to continue to build up our military forces and the infrastructure that goes with it in Alaska to protect our nation's vital interests in the Arctic," Sullivan said, according to a report from Roll Call.
Sullivan praised the U.S. Air Force, and the Canadian Air Force on X for responding promptly.
"The Russian & Chinese bombers operating near Alaska yesterday were met by US Air Force F-16s & F-35s, and RCAF ARC CF-18 fighters. This is the kind of strong demonstration of American power these dictators need to see whenever they come near our airspace. Great job again to our Alaska-based military for flawlessly conducting this latest intercept mission," Sullivan wrote on X.
A document released by the U.S. Department of Defense Arctic strategy in late June stressed the need to increase military presence, a strategy that works alongside the 2022 National Security Strategy, and the Department of Defense.
"The NSAR states that the United States seeks an Arctic region that is peaceful, stable, prosperous, and cooperative. In support of this national-level objective, DoD, in cooperation with our Allies and partners, will pursue an end state that preserves the Arctic as a stable region in which the U.S. homeland remains secure and vital national interests are safeguarded," the document states in its executive summary.

There is no doubt that the Bible has had a tremendously powerful impact on the world, and especially the West.
It's been documented to have, through its stories, characters and symbolism, influenced literature, art and music. Even government, as America's founding documents cite those rights that are bestowed by our Creator.
Basics concepts of justice such as 'Thou shalt not steal" and "Thou shalt not kill" provide the foundation for the law.
In the early days of America, the Bible often was the only text book used in schools. Even now multiple schools teach the Bible as history.
And that's what's going to happen in Oklahoma, through the actions of the state superintendent of schools, Ryan Walters.
Those local education industry managers who disagree, he said, can "go to California."
"It's part of our history. It's crystal clear. … You look at the Pilgrims, you look at the Mayflower Compact, you look at Thomas Jefferson talking about our rights coming from our Creator. … The reality is the left, these radical woke administrators, want to indoctrinate your kids…"
He said they are pushing "leftism" on children, "saying there was no morality, there was no belief in God."
Oklahoma students will consider the Bible in its historical context, he said.
Those "woke administrators" who are, in fact, insisting on their ideological agenda "can go to California," he said.
Fox News said the comments came after he gave a directive to schools to integrate the Bible into history lessons, and eight districts across the state resisted.
"I'm going to tell these woke administrators, if they're going to break the law and not teach it, they can go to California because… here in Oklahoma schools, we're going to make sure that history is taught," Walters aid.
"What we're doing is making sure teachers have resources in order to teach these concepts that the left has pushed out of our schools."
Walters said the impetus for the addition came from parents.
"When I ran three years ago, they were crystal clear. 'Why in the world are we not teaching our kids that our rights came from God? Why in the world are we not referencing all these unbelievable moments in American history where the Bible was cited?' It is absolutely part of our history," he said.
A commentary at Twitchy quickly took up the subject and blew out of the water the criticisms that schools now suddenly are teaching religion.
"Walters has not mandated that schools 'teach the Bible,' as so many outlets like USA Today have proclaimed. The policy mandates that all classrooms be furnished with copies of the Bible, the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and, like Louisiana, the Ten Commandments. Moreover, the policy does not include any mandate related to teaching the tenets of Judeo-Christian religions (Walters' guidelines expressly forbid that). Rather, it dictates that schools must include the Bible only in such a way as to reflect its impact on history, culture, and Western civilization."
The guidelines, in fact, call for teaching the "historical and literary aspects of the Bible," not any "religious beliefs."
Further, the guidelines call for full information to parents, with confirmation that using the Bible as a historical reference "is not an endorsement of any religious belief."
The commentary explained, "The fact of the matter is, regardless of how much the left may hate it, there is no single literary text that has had anything close to the historical and cultural significance to and impact on Western civilization as the Bible has. Sorry, lefties. It's just true."

JERUSALEM – Even by the standards of the devastation which nearly 10 months of fighting a war with ground troops in the Gaza Strip has wrought, the senseless murder of 12 children – and the wounding, some very seriously of dozens more – in Majdal Shams on Saturday has registered a new low for Israel.
The strike was the single-largest loss of life in the north since Hezbollah started firing projectiles – in "defense of the people of Gaza" – on Oct. 8 – and the subsequent fallout could be catastrophic.
Thousands of mourners gathered Sunday morning in the Druze town in the Golan in northern Israel – within clear sight of the Lebanese border – to lay to rest the unfortunate souls caught up in Hezbollah's murderous intentions.
Stores across the Golan region are closed and black flags in neighboring towns have been hung as a sign of mourning for those killed. The funeral procession started from the soccer field where the rocket struck.
Eleven of the twelve children killed in Saturday's Hezbollah attack on Majdal Shams were named by Arabic and Hebrew media:
"With deep sorrow and grief, and with calm and complete submission to the will of God, Majdal Shams mourns the loss of its finest children and youths who were struck in the village stadium attack," the village community said in a statement according to Ynet. That news outlet also reported local authorities in eastern Galilee are coordinating to send dozens of Arabic-speaking social workers to Majdal Shams to try and help families cope with the appalling loss of life.
Amid months of rocket fire and drone infiltrations, which have hassled and harried those who remain in the country's north – to say nothing of the tens of thousands who have been internally displaced because of their proximity to the Lebanese border – there is a very real sense this – unfortunately entirely predictable incident – is the red line beyond which Israel says "no more."
Despite Hezbollah's denials over the strike – which quickly followed having proudly crowed about targeting a military installation – the IDF confirmed the weapon used was an Iranian-made Falaq-1 with a warhead of more than 50 kilograms of explosives.
First responders reported the scene as "resembling a battlefield," and although an incoming rocket alert siren did sound, there was not enough time for those gathered at the soccer field to seek appropriate shelter.
The incident has united different strands from Israel's political spectrum; and Hezbollah's rush to distance itself from responsibility, coupled with a very unusual statement from Lebanon's government – in that it said anything at all – condemning the "targeting of civilians," as well as a warning from Iran's Foreign Ministry against "reckless behavior," highlight how serious the situation is.
"Any ignorant action of the Zionist regime can lead to the broadening of the scope of instability, insecurity, and war in the region," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani, adding Israel will be responsible for "the unforeseen consequences and reactions to such reckless behavior," according to The Times of Israel.
International opinion – albeit temporarily (of course) has swung behind Israel as it attempts to deal with the fallout of the strike – and as it carefully weighs the strength of its inevitable response.
The Biden administration, whose vacillation and lack of both direction and leadership have served only to embolden the mullahs in Tehran and Iran's proxy forces in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon, condemned the attack as "horrific."
A White House national security official said U.S. support for Israel's security was "iron-clad and unwavering against all Iranian-backed terrorist groups, including Lebanese Hezbollah."
It is also a clear sign this event could be the spark that lights the Middle East on fire. It is ironic to note how assiduously the Biden administration – which claimed it was bringing the "adults back into the room," following the supposed chaos of the Trump presidency – has tried to appease Tehran in every possible way, and even by doing so, might still get the wider war it so desperately wants to avoid.
President Donald Trump, speaking at a Bitcoin event in Nashville, Tennessee, condemned the strike. "We just heard that Israel was just severely attacked – Hezbollah, it looks like," he said.
"They cannot do this; what they did is terrible. So to all, God bless everyone. We cannot let it continue, and we wish them a lot of luck. It's a terrible thing."
At a rally Saturday in Minnesota, he reiterated his sense of outrage.
