With the New York City race for mayor reaching a fever pitch, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., went on what's being called "an unhinged, screaming rant" Sunday while rallying for Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani, who continues to lead against Independent Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa.

"This city was built by the Irish escaping famine, Italians fleeing fascism, Jews escaping the Holocaust …" AOC yelled, proffering a variety of accents.

"Black Americans fleeing slavery and Jim Crow. Latinos seeking a better life! Native peoples standing for themselves!"

Her screams into the microphone became so loud, they actually overmodulated and distorted the audio as she concluded: "Asian-Americans coming together in Queens! In Brooklyn! In the Bronx! In Manhattan! In Staten Island! In this country, in a vision to build the freest, toughest, and greatest city on earth!"

AOC added: "We must remember in a time such as this, we are not the crazy ones, New York City. We are not the outlandish ones, New York City. They want us to think we are crazy. We are sane!"

Journalist Benny Johnson reacted to AOC, saying: "New York is cooked."

Cristina Laila at the Gateway Pundit noted "AOC's meltdown was reminiscent of Howard Dean's 'Dean Scream Speech' that ended his career during the 2004 Iowa caucuses."

Others commented:

"BREAKING: AOC Mistakes Campaign Rally for Exorcism; Audience Unsure Who's Possessed."

"She sounds like a Disney villain losing her mind screaming like that."

"Listening to her makes me so grateful to have hearing loss."

"It may sound funny, but I don't think we should underestimate AOC. She is dumber than a box of Q-tips, but she has a charisma that gets certain people fired up."

"New York is about to get what the majority of New Yorkers deserve. Sane New Yorkers need to either move away or invest in barrels of personal lubricant."

Fed-up with California's issuance of commercial driver's licenses to illegal migrants, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy on Sunday said the federal government is on the verge of yanking $160 million from the Golden State.

"I'm about to pull $160 million from California," Duffy said on "Sunday Morning Futures" on the Fox News Channel, "and as we pull more money, we also have the option of pulling California's ability to issue commercial driver's licenses."

Duffy said the state's governor, Democrat Gavin Newsom who announced Sunday his interest in the presidency, "cares more abut illegals getting commercial driver's licenses than he does the citizens of his own state and the safety of Americans."

"It's shameful. He's been lying about what he's been doing. And again we're gonna fight tooth and nail under President Trump's administration to make sure that we hold states like California accountable."

Duffy explained there's a "non-domiciled CDL" that allows Americans who reside in one state to be issued a license from another.

"But you're an American citizen," he stressed. "Democrats have contorted this rule, they've abused the rule, and they have now allowed foreigners to get a non-domiciled CDL."

Duffy indicated 60,000 of such licenses have now been issued to people who are not in the country legally and are putting citizens at risk on the roadways.

"So you have 60,000 people on the roads who shouldn't have licenses. They 're driving fuel tankers, they're driving school buses," he said.

"Gavin Newsom has thumbed his nose at us."

Bartiromo also brought up the point that these illegal aliens could be able to cast votes in American elections using their driver's licenses as identification.

"If you're an illegal, you shouldn't have a license," Duffy stated, adding 'there could be some kind of identifier [on a driver's license] that shows you're not a citizen."

"This is the corruption that happens inside of Democrat states."

President Donald Trump on Sunday jumped into allegations of NBA cheating, wondering aloud if the basketball gambling scandal was worse than Democrats cheating in American elections.

"What's worse, the NBA Players cheating at cards, and probably much else, or the Democrats cheating on Elections," Trump posted on Truth Social.

The president then made it very clear where he stands.

"The 2020 Presidential Election, being Rigged and Stolen, is a far bigger SCANDAL."

"Look what happened to our Country when a Crooked Moron became our 'President!' We now know everything.

"I hope the DOJ pursues this with as much 'gusto' as befitting the biggest SCANDAL in American history! If not, it will happen again, including the upcoming Midterms.

"No mail-in or 'Early' Voting, Yes to Voter ID! Watch how totally dishonest the California Prop Vote is! Millions of Ballots being 'shipped.'

Trump exclaimed in conclusion: "GET SMART REPUBLICANS, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!"

As WorldNetDaily reported, FBI Director Kash Patel on Thursday announced the takedown of a massive illegal gambling ring involving coordination between NBA players, coaches, and mafia crime families.

Patel said: "Day in and day out, this FBI is following the money – and today is the result of that outstanding work. This operation involved an expansive effort across 11 states arresting 31 subjects, including multiple NBA players and coaches, who allegedly took advantage of their own positions of power to rig gambling systems for their own benefit – eventually funneling money to La Cosa Nostra, enriching some of the most notorious criminal networks in the world.

"That ends today – and the FBI's efforts to make sure gambling operations of all kinds stay within the law are only beginning. Thank you to the outstanding men and women of the FBI who pursued this case and followed the facts accordingly."

U.S. Transportation Sean Duffy sounded the alarm Sunday about the safety of American air travel, indicating he "can't stop the frustration of air-traffic controllers" who face higher-than-normal stress levels as they continue to work without pay 26 days into the federal government shutdown.

"You can see the stress, these people that often times live paycheck to paycheck," Duffy said on "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel. "I see that burn coming from the controllers."

"They're concerned about gas in the car. They're concerned about child care and mortgages. And so I'm seeing the stress come for the controllers. Just yesterday, Maria, we had 22 staffing triggers. That's one of the highest that we've seen in the system since the shutdown began and that's a sign that the controllers are wearing thin.

"They're taking second jobs. They're out here looking, 'Can I drive Uber? Can I find another source of income to make ends meet until Democrats stop with their radical push for illegal migrants and actually open up the government?'"

Duffy explained: "We have more people calling in sick, more people not showing up for work."

"There's real life situations that they're dealing with their families. I was in one of the towers, and they were celebrating the fact that the airlines had sent them lunch and sent them dinner. I don't want air-traffic controllers going to a food bank."

"The fact that they have to think about how they put food on the table, they need airlines to put food into the towers so they can have lunch or dinner is outrageous."

Duffy said in the next two or three days, he expects "more staffing shortages in towers which means you're gonna see more delays, more cancellations and then you see more Americans frustrated at Democrats and they'll say open up the government. Enough is enough."

When Bartiromo asked Duffy if it is even safe to fly at the current time, Duffy replied: "I need my controllers focused on the airspace, not about the finances at home. They'll tell me there is that seepage of how they're gonna deal with those finances. My job is to keep the airspace safe."

"And so if I don't feel like I have enough controllers, or enough controllers that are focused, we will slow down traffic, we will stop traffic. And that's why you see the delays in the system. And the job No. 1 is, again, get people to where they're going safely. If it's not on time, call the Democrats, call Chuck Schumer. if you're frustrated that you have a staffing shortage and your flight's three hours delayed or your flight is canceled, call Chuck, call Senate Democrats because this is the reason why."

Authorities were forced to open fire on a U-Haul truck whose driver was backing toward officers at the Alameda, Calif., U.S. Coast Guard base where protesters had been opposing President Donald Trump's crackdown on illegal aliens.

Eyewitnesses charged that the driver, who had been loitering for some time, abruptly accelerated toward police, prompting them to respond with shots.

Fox News report said the driver had been ordered to stop, but refused to follow directions.

"When the vehicle's actions posed a direct threat to the safety of Coast Guard and security personnel, law enforcement officers discharged several rounds of live fire," a statement from the agency said.

The Coast Guard said there appeared to be no injuries to personnel.

The driver fled after the shooting, authorities reported, and later, two men arrived at local hospitals seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.

Protesters had been at the entrance to the base, trying to block U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents from entering the base.

President Trump has pulled the plug on trade negotiations with Canada, where the economy relies in significant ways on the United States, over what he has called a "FAKE" ad that appears to be trying to influence the U.S. Supreme Court's looming decision on tariffs.

Further, the ad may actually misrepresent President Ronald Reagan, whose words it uses.

The bigger picture is Trump's use of tariffs to bring about fair trade agreements for American manufacturers, consumers and economy with foreign nations that long have taken advantage of unbalanced practices.

The Supreme Court right now is considering the status of those tariffs.

Canada, of course, has a significant interest in making them go away. And Ontario Premier Doug Ford, who repeatedly has opposed Trump's economic agenda, revealed he was pushing an ad campaign weeks ago.

Now it's out:

It claims, through Reagan's words, edited for the ad, "High tariffs inevitably lead to retaliation by foreign countries and the triggering of fierce trade wars. Then the worst happens. Markets shrink and collapse, businesses and industries shut down and millions of people lose their jobs."

He was, in 1987, addressing trade with Japan.

Now Trump has responded to the ad.

"The Ronald Reagan Foundation has just announced that Canada has fraudulently used an advertisement, which is FAKE, featuring Ronald Reagan speaking negatively about Tariffs. The ad was for $75,000,000. They only did this to interfere with the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court, and other courts. TARIFFS ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY, AND ECONOMY, OF THE U.S.A. Based on their egregious behavior, ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HERBY TERMINATED. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT."

The Hill explained "Trump in August announced a 35 percent tariff on all Canadian goods, though products covered under the 2020 U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement were exempt. Canada is one of the United States' top trading partners, and their economies are heavily intertwined when it comes to certain products. But Trump has repeatedly argued the U.S. does not need Canadian goods, and that Canada is far more reliant on America for its economy."

In fact, the Reagan Foundation confirmed the ad manipulated Reagan's words, and it announced it was reviewing its legal options"

Here are those remarks, without the political spin from Canada.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced that a doctor accused of giving children dangerous chemicals as part of her "gender transition" treatments has surrendered her medical license.

That means May Lau, who was accused of giving children "harmful, irreversible" drugs, no longer can practice medicine in the state.

"Doctors who permanently hurt kids by giving them experimental drugs are nothing more than disturbed left-wing activists who have no business being in the medical field," Paxton said. "May Lau has done untold damage to children, both physically and psychologically, and the surrendering of her Texas medical license is a major victory for our state."

He added, "My case against her for breaking the law will continue, and we will not relent in holding anyone who tries to 'transition' kids accountable."

report at the Texas Tribune explained Paxton had sued Lau, who was acting as a "Dallas pediatrician."

The state's Senate Bill 14, from 2023, "prohibits physicians and health care providers from prescribing hormones to minors to transition their biological sex," the report said.

Lau was accused of prescribing testosterone to at least 21 patients between the ages of 14 and 17 to transition their biological gender or affirm their gender identity, the report said.

At that time, Paxton pointed out, "Texas passed a law to protect children from these dangerous unscientific medical interventions that have irreversible and damaging effects."

Paxton also accused Lau of "falsifying medical records, prescriptions, and billing records" by inserting a puberty blocker device into a 15-year-old and billing the patient's insurance for an endocrine disorder instead of the patient's gender dysphoria, the report said.

President Donald Trump has been dispatching National Guard troops strategically to various cities with significant crime problems in recent weeks.

And the results in Memphis, Tennessee, have been startling.

Authorities there have made more than 1,000 arrests, taking 100 gang members off the streets and have found dozens and dozens of missing children.

"From arresting more than 100 gang members to locating more than 70 missing children, our brave federal agents and local authorities are doing incredible work to protect the good people of Memphis," Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

"Tolerating crime is a choice: under President Trump, we refuse to accept the victimization of innocent American citizens and will continue making our cities safe again."

White House statistics revealed there have been 1,309 total arrests since last month, when the help was delivered.

That includes nine cases involving homicide, 52 for sex offenses, 527 for warrants and 132 for firearm offenses.

Before, the city routinely ranked as among the nation's most dangerous, reporting more than 40 homicides per 100,000 people just last year.

Trump's Memphis Safe Task Force was launched Sept. 15, authorizing National Guard help.

Gov. Bill Lee, supporting the effort, said the new campaign will be "forever."

Fox reported that an official "provided Fox News Digital with a snapshot of arrests on the night of Oct. 21, including one man who was arrested on a warrant for aggravated rape of a child; the arrest of a known Grape Street Crip gang member on a warrant for kidnapping, aggravated assault, theft, domestic assault and parole violation; and the arrest of a known Bloods gang member on a warrant for harassment."

Explained, Gadyaces S. Serralta, of the U.S. Marshals Service, in a statement to Fox, "Our priorities in Memphis are removing violent criminals, eliminating drug trafficking, and executing warrants for criminals within the communities."

Democrats have objected to enforcing the law.

Charged Democratic Rep. Steve Cohen, "We are not a training ground or target practice."

The Casa Bonita restaurant in Lakewood, Colo., just outside of Denver, long has been known for its novel entertainment.

Sure, it has Mexican food. But it also has cliff divers, who dive from indoor perches into an indoor pool stories below. There also are roaming mariachi musicians, and there have been actors in various costumes who entertained children.

It's more that 50 years old, given its entire history, but it went dark during COVID only to be resurrected by South Park multimillionaires Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who reportedly turned over cash by the tens of millions to unlock its doors again.

Many of the traditional features are there, but the prices have exploded to some $30 a meal now.

But its latest fight is over what it pays those actors who provide the show for patrons.

There have been negotiations going on for some time, and restaurant officials said they don't comment.

But actress Brooke Shields, of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "The Blue Lagoon" did.

She called out the wealthy owners for not paying their employees a "living wage."

On social media, she said, "Hey Matt and Trey, nice to meet you. As you know, I'm the president of Actors' Equity Association, the union that represents the performers who work for you at Casa Bonita. You probably know that we've been in bargaining for their first union contract for quite a while now. But maybe you don't know that your restaurant management has been playing really fast and loose with this bargaining process and it's just not respectful to the performers who put their all into making Casa Bonita the one-of-a-kind destination that it is and that you've created.

"And things are kind of escalating. And I just want to say that these workers are not making a living wage- like actually not. And, in fact, they are being paid less than their coworkers who are actually serving the food, and you know, that's before you factor in tips. So, they've not only been hard at work entertaining Casa Bonita guests and spending their volunteer hours in bargaining – they've also been putting their names on a petition. So, I hope you see their petition, and I do hope you take it seriously, and take seriously their requests for you to accept the proposed contract so that we can all put this chapter way behind us. Because without the performers who bring Casa Bonita to life, it's just a big, pink restaurant. It's time to do the right thing. Please agree to a fair contract, and please enable these performers to focus on providing the world-class experience that Casa Bonita's guests expect and deserve and help them get it."

report from a local Fox outlet said Shields, "called out" the rich owners.

A strike has been authorized by the Actors' Equity Association, at the discretion of their lead negotiator, the report said.

A petition from workers was also promoted.

"The petition said that since performers voted to unionize in November 2024, the association and Casa Bonita management have been in negotiations since April, and the majority of workers on the contract have stated that they support a strike," the report said.

The restaurant also has been accused of cutting more than 1,000 hours from the employees, and has refused to respond to concerns about worker safety.

President Donald Trump announced months ago that he had organized a program to design and build a huge ballroom on the campus of the White House in Washington.

The federal facilities there never have had a place to deliver state banquets for more than a few dozen, and the new program, in replacement of the 1940s-era East Wing, will seat hundreds.

Further, Trump has organized private donors to pay the hundreds of millions of dollars, saving taxpayers a lot.

But leftists are unhappy, with Hillary Clinton complaining he's tearing down the White House and it's not his.

Other comments included the astute claim, "Obama would have been immediately impeached for this."

Many Democrat comments descended immediately to the graphic and are not reproducible in a civilized publication.

But now the truth is being delivered.

For example, Ronald Reagan biographer Craig Shirley said this project, unlike the Nixon bowling alley, Obama basketball court and the like, will benefit future presidents and even the public.

"A lot of Americans will be able to enjoy that ballroom. A lot of Americans could not enjoy Obama's basketball court, or Clinton's running track and putting green, or Gerald Ford's swimming pool. You know, a lot of Americans couldn't enjoy those things, but a lot of Americans will be able to enjoy the ballroom," Shirley told Washington Secrets.

report at Fox said the Trump administration had launched a trolling campaign against critics.

The White House website, for instance, was detailing "major events timeline" at the site that dates to 1791, when it first was launched.

"The timeline includes a series of benchmarks such as the addition of the north portico from 1829 to 1830, and the addition of the Oval Office in 1909 under the Taft administration and the 'total reconstruction' of the White House interior under the Truman administration," the report said.

It also includes "Cocaine Discovered" in 2023 during the Joe Biden administration.

There also was Obama's $376 million project on the White House grounds, to which leftists did not raise objections.

The timeline also included Bill Clinton's 1998 sex scandal with intern Monica Lewinsky, as well as Obama's invitation to the Muslim Brotherhood to the White House.

It was Joe Biden who used the facility for "International Transgender Day of Visibility."

The twice-failed Democrat candidate for the Oval Office, Hillary Clinton, said, "It's not his house. It's your house. And he's destroying it."

Karoline Leavitt, White House spokeswoman, added more details to the history: "Nearly every single president who's lived in this beautiful White House behind me has made modernizations and renovations of their own."

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., pointed out that leftists had no issue with destroying history during Joe Biden's tenure, when they trashed statues of famous Americans.

Shirley added, "The White House has been a work in progress since 1800. Trump is a builder. I'm running out of fingers and toes to tell you how many times the White House has gone through changes."

He charged that criticism can be chalked up to "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, chided Maria Shriver, whose uncle was former President John F. Kennedy. She said that the project "breaks my heart and it infuriates me."

Cruz responded, "Does it 'break your heart' that, in 1948, Harry Truman undertook a 'total reconstruction' of the White House's interior, preserving only its exterior walls? Or, in 1962, when your uncle JFK constructed the modern Rose Garden? Or is it just Trump that your lament applies to?"
