JERUSALEM – Speculation is rife in Israel that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu finally has lost patience with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and will imminently dismiss him from his post. Rumors abound Netanyahu's former political protégé Gidon Sa'ar – formerly of the LIkud Party, but now the New Hope faction leader – will replace him.

Likud party insiders leaked the progress of the talks between Netanyahu and Sa;ar, suggesting headway had been made. It is thought one of the stumbling blocks is Gallant's future, a decision the ever-cautious prime minister has yet to finalize.

Netanyahu is wise to be cautious. The last time he fired Gallant in March 2023 over the defense minister's opposition to the pace and shape of the proposed judicial reforms, tens of thousands of Israelis from across the political spectrum flooded onto the streets to protest the decision. The prime minister quickly reinstated Gallant, realizing the scale of opposition to his sidelining a political rival. And this was several months before Oct. 7 had even taken place. If anything, such a decision now might hide even greater jeopardy for the embattled premier.

One of the possible arrangements under consideration is a rotation scenario between Sa'ar and current Foreign Minister Israel Katz, where Katz would become defense minister for a period while Sa'ar would head the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the conclusion of that stint, Katz would return to the foreign ministry portfolio, and Sa'ar would slide into the defense brief. Former construction and housing minister Ze'ev Elkin is reportedly being touted as a future health minister. The prime minister's office denied the reports about a putative deal with Sa'ar, claiming talk of the negotiations were "incorrect."

National Interior Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, whose party's Knesset seats are crucial for allowing Netanyahu to remain in power, took to X, formerly Twitter, to declare he'd been seeking Gallant's dismissal for months.

"I've been calling for Prime Minister Netanyahu to fire Gallant for months, and the time has come to do it immediately. We need a decision in the North, and Galant is not the right man to lead this."

Why now?

In a normal situation where the country was not fighting an 11-month war against an Iranian proxy in Gaza, and attempting to keep a lid on numerous other arenas against a similar enemy, Gallant – as well as other ministers, up to and including Netanyahu – should have offered mass resignations for the failure that was Oct. 7.

Several months ago there were rumors Gallant might consider resigning, taking on the mantle of collective responsibility for failures which came under his purview, although by no means exclusively down to him. It seems he hardened his own position once he realized Netanyahu had no intention of quitting willingly and was also attempting to shift the entirety of the blame onto the security establishment and the army. He may have also seen himself as a bulwark against Ben Gvir, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.

Commentators in Israel are arguing it is precisely this – and the deep divisions over the drafting of Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) men to the army, which has set Gallant's fate. He assesses there is a desperate need, as does much of the country, that all men of fighting age should be drafted into the military – and exceptions in the ultra-Orthodox community should only be made for the most advanced and learned students. As far as Gallant is concerned there should not be a blanket exemption for all young men studying in a yeshiva. This position puts him at odds with ultra-Orthodox members of the Knesset, as well as providing a considerable barrier to Netanyahu's immediate political requirements – given he is reliant on his coalition to remain in power.

Predictably, the rumors of backroom deals and the optics of Netanyahu seeming to choose to save his political skin yet again, caused uproar among opposition leaders.

Netanyahu's former war cabinet colleague Benny Gantz poured scorn on what he viewed as the prime minister's politicking at such a sensitive time. In an X post, he wrote:

"Instead of the Prime Minister of Israel being busy with the victory over Hamas, the return of the hostages, the war with Hezbollah and the safe return of the residents of the north to their homes – he is busy in scornful political intrigues and changing the minister of defense before a massive campaign in the north. This indicates poor judgment and distorted priorities."

Meanwhile, leader of the opposition Yair Lapid also took to X to post several of Gidon Sa'ar's previous quotes – some as recently as 2023 – about how he would not work with Netanyahu if he was still prime minister. In August 2022, Sa'ar wrote, "I will not return to a government that Netanyahu leads, because he represents an approach which endangers Israel's future. My principles do not permit me to support a leader who puts his personal benefit above all."

Israel is facing an uncertain future, with a potentially lengthy and very damaging war with Lebanon seemingly about to break out, as well as budgetary news, which showed how much of a toll the war has already had on the country's economy… and worse than expected. And still, more than 100 hostages are languishing in unspeakable conditions in Hamas captivity in Gaza. As the one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 attacks approaches, the country is left with much soul-searching about its future direction.

As more and more information comes out about the apparent assassination attempt against President Donald Trump on Sunday, and the arrest of a suspect, Americans will need to watch that the reporting they read aligns with the facts.

That's after Time magazine claimed that the suspect had an "unclear political ideology," even as images of a Biden-Harris bumper sticker on his truck were available.

The suspect was identified as Ryan Routh, 58, with a criminal record and a history of praising Iran and lobbying for fighters for Ukraine.

After Time's statement regarding his "unclear political ideology," readers on social media delivered the facts: "Routh recently voted in person during the state's Democratic Party primary in March 2024. He also donated to Act Blue in 2019, and 2020 (a political action committee that supports Democratic candidates):"

At the Gateway Pundit was the comment, "Yesterday afternoon, as President Trump was playing the 5th hole on his golf course in West Palm Beach, FL, he was tackled by US Secret Service agents who were protecting him from the alleged would-be-assassin Ryan Wesley Routh. It didn't take long for internet sleuths to get out ahead of the intelligence agencies and the big tech censorship machine who quickly removed any trace of the incredible history of Ryan Wesley Routh, a Democrat donor and, according to the bumper sticker on his vehicle, a Biden-Harris supporter. Donald Trump Jr. shared the image of the would-be assassin's truck parked in front of his home with the caption: That's an Interesting bumper sticker on Ryan Wesley Routh's truck."

Jonathan Cahn, the messianic rabbi who revealed to the world the parallels between the people's rejection of God in the Old Testament and the results, and America's anti-biblical turns and those results, the attacks of 9/11, in "The Harbinger," is not known for pulling punches.

He once addressed Joe Biden personally and directly about actions that violated the Bible.

He had warned Biden when he became president to follow God's laws or see America's blessings vanish.

He later charged Biden to prepare himself for that time when he will face God.

"The day will come that you will stand before God and you will have no more position, no administration, no government, no media and no public opinion. It will just be you and Him, and He will ask you to give account of what you did, what you did with regard to His Word and His ways."

He continued, "Mr. President, the hour is late and eternity is soon coming. Repent and turn to God. The only hope you have, and all of us have, is salvation."

That was when Biden marked his 80th birthday, and his promotion of abortion and same-sex "marriage" was in conflict with biblical teachings.

Now Cahn is expanding his warning, to include a lot more than just a lone U.S. president who, despite stating he's a faithful Catholic, regularly blows up the teachings of the Bible with his actions.

It's in Cahn's new "The Dragon's Prophecy: Isreal, the Dark Resurrection, and the End of Days," he notes the facts of history should raise concern among those who advocate for a diminished Israel, those who would decline to side with the Middle East democracy, those who would attack and slaughter its citizens without reason or warning, those who would take the side of the attackers, and those who would do nothing.

It's been tried before. And every time, those powerhouses of the globe have failed.

"The present and most powerful of the world empires, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, and Rome, to name just a few, all sought to eradicate the children of Israel from the face of the earth and the name of Israel from Israel," he points out.

"But … The pharaohs are gone. Assyria lies in ruins. Babylon as fallen. Rome has crumbled. The Third Reich has been wiped off the earth. The Soviet Union has collapsed. All the enemies of Israel have fallen and have perished from the earth and will be no more."

However, he explains, "The nation of Israel lives. Because the God of Israel lives. The Savior of Israel lives. The Messiah of Israel lives. The weakest and most vulnerable have, in the end, prevailed, and have proved the strongest of peoples. The most warred-against, embattled of nations has, in the end, proved the most enduring. And the most hopeless of nations has, in the end, become the epitome of hope. The nation that once dwelt among the ancient Egyptians, Assyrians, and Babylonians is, after the passing of ages, still as young and as full of life as it has ever been. It still defies the laws of nations. It still flouts the laws of history. And it still disobeys the laws of decay and death. Why? Because He Is God brought the nation of Israel into existence to bear witness of His existence. They are because He is. They exist because He exists. And they continue to exist because He yet still exists. They would survive despite the attempts of all hell to destroy them—because more real than any other reality is the reality of God, and more powerful than any power is the power of God. That they have survived against all odds and all hell is a cause for rejoicing."

Cahn told WND in an interview that, "One of the most powerful evidences for God and encouragements for believers is Israel. Godt promised in Jeremiah that as long as natural order is preserved, the nation of Israel would not cease to be a nation for him.

"History itself bears witness to the promise of God, the faithfulness of God, the reality of God. There's no rational explanation why this tiny little people are still here on earth."

They are the "most-attacked people on earth," and "The world has tried to wipe (them) off the face of the earth."

He cited even the stunning founding of the nation, when, without an army to its name, it was attacked by virtually every neighboring nation within hours of its creation in 1948, and won victory.

"Arms were blockaded, and you had at least five major Arab armies coming against them," he pointed out.

The book, released just days ago, immediately rocketed to No. 1 on the New York Times Bestsellers list. It also shot to No. 1 on Amazon in multiple categories.

Cahn repeatedly has revealed stunning mysteries about how ancient times and signs foretell modern events.

One reviewer explained, "The Dragon's Prophecy takes the revelations to an entirely new level and dimension and explains the mystery of evil and how to overcome a deadly future through the power of heaven."

His book discusses the "Dark Resurrection," "the Black Sabbath," the "Prince of Persia" and the "Countdown of Days" and describes how ancient events are foretelling today's catastrophes, including the Oct. 7, 2023, terror attack by Hamas on Israeli civilians that left almost 1,200 dead, slaughtered in the most horrific ways imaginable.

Cahn has been named, along with spiritual giants like Billy Graham as among the top spiritual leaders over the last 40 years. He's spoken to millions about and was a key behind "The Return, the National Day of Prayer and Repentance" that brought thousands to Washington.

He leads Beth Israel at the Jerusalem Center in Wayne, New Jersey and Hope of the World ministry.

And to where should the world look for signs of what is coming next?

The Dragon's Prophecy explains it is the Temple Mount.

"The Temple Mount is the Ground Zero of prophecy," Cahn explained to WND. "It's the focal point of really everything."

There's always been a spotlight on Israel, the land, then the state, then Jerusalem itself.

"Then within Jerusalem, the Temple Mount," he said. "It's the center of the center of the center."

He explains in his book the links involving the Temple Mount, 9/11, and Oct. 7.

"October 7 was not the first time that the issue of the Dragon and the Temple Mount would lead to calamity. One of those calamities was directed against America, New York and Washington, D.C. It would be known as 9/11. Though most people had no idea, the tragedy that struck America on September 11, 2001, and brought the death of three thousand Americans was linked to God's holy mountain in Jerusalem, the Temple Mount. When Osama Bin Laden wrote his letter to America giving his reasons for masterminding the calamity of 9/11, foremost among them was the issue of Palestine. America was Israel's most important ally and supporter. So it had to be struck and punished. As Bin Laden railed against the Jews of Israel, he wrote this: 'With your help and under your protection, the Israelis are planning to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque.'"

The book continues, "Compare Bin Laden's words in the aftermath of 9/11 to the words of those who masterminded October 7: 'This [Israeli] government is preparing to impose its sovereignty and authority over blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.'

"The charges are virtually identical, as is the wording. And yet they were made by two different people in two different statements separated by over twenty years. One was the rationale given for the calamity of October 7; the other for September 11. Yet both traced back to the same charge and the same plot of land—the Temple Mount. Their parallels, their common causes, and the fact that they each resulted in a deluge of death and destruction bear witness to the more-than-natural reality that lay behind them. So as Americans watched the Pentagon go up in flames and the World Trade Center go down in ruins, they had no idea that behind their national calamity lay an ancient ground and an ancient entity. Behind the calamity of 9/11, just as behind the calamity of October 7, was a dragon on the Temple Mount."

The Temple Mount, of course, is called that because of the Temple originally there. Its ultimate destruction cleared the path for an Islamic takeover and construction of a mosque there. But biblical prophecies determine that that eventually will make way for yet another Temple, something billions of Muslim around the globe likely would war over.

Another reviewer explained, "While Cahn is known for revealing stunning mysteries, many from ancient times that lie behind the events of modern times, The Dragon's Prophecy takes the revelations to an entirely new level and dimension and explains the mystery of evil and how to overcome a deadly future through the power of heaven."

Cahn already has had eight New York Times Bestsellers, including, "The Harbinger," "The Mystery of the Shemitah," "The Book of Mysteries," "The Paradigm," "The Oracle," "The Harbinger II," "The Return of The Gods" and "The Josiah Manifesto."

Those who have studied the Bible know the end already, but Cahn explains:

At the very end of the Bible, in the very last pages of the Book of Revelation, the Dragon's war is finally brought to its final end. The inverted angel, the Devil, Satan, the Enemy, the Dragon, will then be vanquished. The power of evil will be gone. The good will prevail and will never end. The kingdom of God will then be manifested in its glory. Messiah, the Lamb, will reign upon the throne. And the will and purposes of God will be fulfilled. And then, that of which the apostle Paul wrote will be revealed: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. And all of God's people will then see it and know. There will then be no more darkness. For the Lord God will be their light, and the Lamb, their illumination. And all things will be made new. And there will be no more Dragon then to rage against the children of Israel, the people of God, and the creation of His hands. No more will he terrorize the nations; no more will he wound, or scar, or mar, or destroy. The darkness of the Dragon will no longer obscure the light, nor will his evil ever again hide the face of God. There will be then… no more wars, no more prisons, no more hatred, no more violence, no more invasions, no more terrorists, no more slaughters, no more holocausts, no more fear, no more pain, no more graveyards, no more sorrow, no more death, no more mourning, no more weeping, and no more pain

The days of the Dragon will have passed away. His footprints will have long been washed away from the shores of memory, and his works from the memory of God's children. And God will wipe away every tear from our eyes. And He will then dwell among us. And we will be His people.

JERUSALEM – On day 345 of the Swords of Iron war, more than 2 million Israelis woke up to the sound of sirens triggered by an incoming missile and pinging rocket alert apps at approximately 6:30 a.m. as Yemen's barbarous Iranian proxy – the Houthi – fired a ballistic missile toward Israel's densely populated center.

It is not exactly clear what happened – although it seems Israel's array of defensive aerial missiles – such as the Arrow and David's Sling systems which are designed for the longer ballistic missiles – did not succeed in taking down the projectile before it entered Israeli airspace. Later reports suggested the missile may have broken up as it flew over central Israel – although it was not certain whether interceptors caused this. There will be an IDF investigation into the failure of these systems to work as they should.

The Arrow missile defense system did bring the missile down, although shrapnel from the interception fell near Gezer – in the foothills of the Judean Mountains, and roughly equidistant between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv – as well as potentially three other areas. These included a train station near to Modi'in, with a population of some 90,000, and Rehovot, population 133,000, and home to the Weizmann Institute, one of Israel's foremost scientific research institutions.

Magen David Adom, Israel's emergency service, said nine people were lightly injured running to safe rooms or attempting to seek shelter. The attack marked the first time in months most people in Israel's center have heard a rocket alert siren, and followed opaque Houthi threats about retaliation for the widespread damage Israel caused to the Hodeidah port in July.

Some hours after the attack, Yahya Saria, a spokesperson for the Houthi rebels, claimed the group had used a hypersonic missile aimed at Jaffa, a weapon allegedly capable of flying some 1,300 miles in about 11-and-a-half minutes. Traditional intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) travel at several thousand miles an hour.

Ahead of Sunday's weekly cabinet meeting, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the early morning ballistic missile attack. "The Houthis should have already known that we exact a heavy price for any attempt to harm us. Anyone who needs a reminder is welcome to visit the port of Hodeidah," Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu also addressed the ongoing situation in the north, and in his remarks addressed those many thousands of people who have not returned to their homes in locales close to the Lebanese border. "The current situation will not continue," he declared. "This requires a change in the balance of forces on our northern border. We will do whatever is necessary to return our residents securely to their homes."

Israel's strike on the main Houthi port was in response to both provocation and escalation from the Shiite terrorists. They launched a suicide drone, which struck a Tel Aviv apartment block, killing one man. The Red Sea Islamists had also sent more than 200 other drones Israel's way, nearly all of which had been intercepted. With patience having run out, the Israel Air Force launched a daring and complex attack on the Hodeidah port, which involved at least 20 fighter jets as well as refueling aircraft, and traversed a distance of more than 1,100 miles – which as commentators pointed out at the time is further away than Tehran.

Meanwhile, in Israel's north, Hezbollah, another arm of the fanatical Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, continues to see just how far Israel can be pushed without inviting a more serious military response. Having fired some 60 rockets at the northern Galilee city of Safed – one of Judaism's four holiest places and the birthplace of Jewish mysticism – on Saturday, the terrorists followed it up Sunday morning with several volleys of dozens of rockets.

Does attack leave more questions than answers?

While the plain facts of the attack are quite straightforward, the fallout from it is far trickier to decipher. Answering them will necessitate attention from serious minds, not those intent on waltzing along on joy and vibes.

Where is the United States?

While the two U.S. presidential candidates bicker and snipe, amid the ignominious failure of the "fact-checking corporate media," real lives – including my own and those of my family – are at stake, as America has seriously taken its eye off the ball, and is continuously played by Tehran.

Not only has it lost focus, amid an incumbent president in Joe Biden who now spends more time on the beach topping up his tan than he does on matters of state, its listlessness and betrayal of its regional allies is becoming deadly serious. In Biden's absence it doesn't help to have Vice President Kamala Harris, who is confusingly by her own admission "the last person in the room," as well as the person who is distanced enough from Biden's failures to not have to own them.

Somebody needs to own them, and the United States' retrenchment from the Middle East is giving greater credence to the saying "Power… hates a vacuum." Questions such as, "Why have the Houthi been left largely unmolested to target international shipping in the Red Sea?" Much of what makes the free world actually free was the U.S. taking up the mantle from the deposed British Royal Navy following the Second World War and guaranteeing freedom of the seas. Would the U.S. allow Somali pirates such freedom to act? What makes the Houthi pirates so different, other than they are so clearly backed by Iran, with which the Biden White House seems to have such an intertwined relationship.

Whether the isolationists like it or not, bad actors with nefarious intent are elbowing America out of the way, and once lost – or perhaps this is the most galling point, given away – influence will be nigh on impossible to restore.

Where to now for Israeli deterrence?

While the war in Gaza, three weeks shy of its one-year anniversary, drags on, Israel has actually witnessed significant successes on the battlefield, including intelligence-gathering, dismantlement of a large proportion of the underground tunnel network (but by no means all), and a significant degrading of Hamas' fighting military strength. But it has come at a cost, in men and women, material, and increasingly deleterious downward pressure on a somewhat sputtering economy. Remember, Israel's is a largely conscript army. Regular troops are fighting alongside hundreds of thousands of reservists – people who have left their families and day-jobs – sometimes for months at a time – to protect the country. The effect of this should be obvious.

Drawing the lens out further, however, Israel used to be able to call upon the deterrence of its military might to cow enemies from attacking it. That is not the situation now – far from it. If anything, Israel's response – or lack thereof – has only emboldened the likes of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi in Yemen. And always lurking in the shadows is Iran, pulling the strings of its terrorist proxies from its Tehran eyrie.

Reports surfaced on Saturday which claimed Israel was in the advanced stages of planning operations against Hezbollah in the next weeks or low single-digit months. While some might welcome this news, for others, especially the tens of thousands of internally displaced people from Israel's north, it is a decision – if it proves final – has come way too late. Hezbollah has already understood – despite losing nearly 500 operatives in the last 11 months – it can push at the margins of Israel's resistance and not receive too significant a blowback. One obvious counter to this is the Israeli strike which exterminated Fuad Shukr, one of the most senior Hezbollah leaders to be eliminated since Imad Mughniyeh, which was in reprisal for the missile attack that killed 12 Druze kids in Israel's Golan.

Israel's enemies have made it abundantly clear – and on innumerable occasions – what their goal is. They are also dictating the pace of events, striking at will, attempting to normalize daily attacks as the cost of living in the Middle East. This does not seem sustainable over the long term, so logically it appears something must give. Israel's tactical gains in Gaza may arguably be for nought if the strategic necessities of fighting Iranian proxies across six or seven different – albeit connected – arenas, become urgent… as they increasingly seem to be.

A video has been exposed that reportedly is of an interview of Ryan Routh, the suspect in Sunday's attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, promoting fighting for Ukraine.

Collin Rugg of Trending Politics posted the video, explaining it was done by Newsweek Romania:

WATCH:

Rugg explains in the interview he begs people to come to Ukraine to fight.

"Once he got to Kyiv, he said that he helped recruit people to get involved in the war.," the report explains.

"We need everyone here fighting… that's why I'm in Kyiv so every project that I promote is about getting people here to support the Ukrainians. … When you talk to a 20-year-old guy that sold everything he owns to come here fight, that is heroism. … You know he's coming here to risk his life for humanity for the Ukrainians," he said.

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida — Gunshots erupted in the vicinity of Donald Trump on Sunday afternoon as the former president was golfing at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The president is safe.

"President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time," said Steven Cheung, communications director for the Trump campaign.

Donald Trump Jr. said on X: "Again folks! SHOTS FIRED at Trump Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida.

"An AK-47 was discovered in the bushes, per local law enforcement. The Trump campaign has released a statement confirming former President Trump is safe. A suspect has reportedly been apprehended."

The United States Secret Service confirmed the incident, noting it's working closely with authorities and investigating.

"The Secret Service, in conjunction with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, is investigating a protective incident involving former President Donald Trump that occurred shortly before 2 p.m. The former president is safe," the agency confirmed on X.

"Secret Service agent opened fire at suspected person with weapon while Trump was golfing, AP sources say," Meg Kinnard of the Associated Press said on X.

"Biden, Harris were briefed on reported shooting near Trump's golf course and are 'relieved' he's safe, White House says," Kinnard added.

The White House acknowledged the incident, saying: "The President and Vice President have been briefed about the security incident at the Trump International Golf Course, where former President Trump was golfing. They are relieved to know that he is safe. They will be kept regularly updated by their team."

Sean Hannity of Fox News, a resident of Palm Beach, says the shooting happened on the fifth hole of Trump's golf game, and an AK-47 weapon was recovered.

"Within seconds, the Secret Service pounced on the president and covered him," Hannity said.

"You had snipers with tripods. They knew the direction where the shots had been fired, and they had eyes on the location where the shots had been fired."

The suspect, whom media reports say is Ryan Wesley Routh, was arrested in Martin County, located just north of Palm Beach County, and his demeanor was said to be "calm."

A fight over a city's mistake when it installed a sewer line – on the wrong property – has gotten worse in Oklahoma, and city residents now are each being billed $10 a month so officials can continue their legal war.

The Institute for Justice reported a short time ago that it was helping Melisa Robinson go to court – AGAIN – to collect what the Oklahoma Supreme Court already has ruled a city owes her.

The problem is that an entity run by the city of Okay, its Public Works Authority, was ruled by the high court to owe Robinson $73,000 damages – now $200,000 including interest, for having its workers dig "a sewer line" on a small mobile home community owned by Robinson.

There was no permission, no authorization for that to have happened.

The city previously said its Public Works division is a trust, and while it may owe Robinson money, that division's assets all are owned by the city, and they deny any responsibility.

The newest development, according to the IJ, is that the city council voted to add a $10 surcharge, indefinitely, to all water customers.

It's not to pay the judgment, but to "pay its attorneys to continue fighting a lawsuit" from Robinson.

"The city did not let anyone from the public speak during the meeting about the surcharge. In 2022, the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled that the Okay Public Works Authority owed Melisa just compensation after it damaged and took her property when it replaced sewer lines without legal authorization. For years the city refused to pay, forcing Melisa to file another federal lawsuit with the Institute for Justice (IJ)," the legal team reported.

"It's beyond belief that Okay would rather raise a surcharge to pay their attorneys rather than pay me what the court already says they owe," Robinson said. "I don't think its right to charge the public to continue a fight they know is wrong to begin with. But if the city can do this to me, they can do it to anyone else."

The city claims the extra bills will cost residents about $30,000 a year.

"After years in court, Melisa Robinson was overjoyed when the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled that the city of Okay owed her family $73,000 for taking their property. Melisa's family are the long-time owners of a small mobile home community that was damaged in 2009 when Okay workers dug a sewer line on it without any legal authorization," IJ reported.

The lawyers explained, "The Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says the government must pay for what it takes, and that means it must pay in cash—not hand over a worthless IOU."

"As long as the city refuses to pay Melisa the just compensation she's owed, it continues to violate the Fifth Amendment," said IJ Attorney Brian Morris. "And now, by trying to blame Melisa for the costs of litigation the city itself created, it's sending a clear message to the residents of Okay: If you try to stand up for your constitutional rights, we'll come after you in more ways than just one."

The Constitution doesn't allow governments to take private property without "just compensation."

"In Melisa's case, Okay began digging a brand-new sewer line on her property—without obtaining permission and without giving notice. (The Trust owned a sewer easement on the land next door. It didn't own anything on Melisa's land, but it dug anyway.) Making things worse, the work did not go well. There was extensive damage to the property and the sewage did not drain correctly from the homes. Melisa paid to fix the damage out of her own pocket—and then sued for compensation."

A profile has started to take shape of Ryan Wesley Routh, the man suspected of attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump on Sunday.

It happened while Trump was golfing in West Palm Beach, Florida, and he was unharmed. The suspect, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, was arrested a short time later, and of course many details remain unconfirmed at this point.

However, a New York Times piece about Ukraine included details of his life, about how he traveled to Ukraine to fight, and then turned to recruiting other fighters to travel there.

It was TheNatPulse editor, Raheem, who explained that a man identified as Routh was recruiting Afghan fighters, and openly discussed "purchasing" passports for them to travel.

At one point posts that appear to be from Routh blasted Trump, charging that his campaign slogan should be "MASA – make Americans slaves again master."

He also attacked former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, of Hawaii, who has endorsed Trump's campaign this year.

He calls her an "idiot" and suggests, "Why don't you go and join Putin and trump (sic) and be their third leg."

Social media posts also suggest he had run for mayor in Honolulu and that he has a criminal record, including one report that claimed he was convicted in 2002 of possessing a weapon of mass destruction.

One report suggested the golf course wasn't secured because Trump is not a sitting president:

And Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis promised a state investigation into how someone with violent intentions and a gun could get onto a course where Trump was playing.

The Army's long-standing training aimed at discouraging personnel from discriminating against people based on their race and sex is, in the age of wokism during the Biden-Harris administration, now morphing into a new and bizarre anti-discrimination paradigm reflecting an extreme leftist – and fundamentally anti-Christian – ideology.

Justin Williamson, a career Army officer who emphasized that his views do not reflect those of the Department of Defense or Department or the Army, spoke frankly to WorldNetDaily about this new development. Because of concern over possible reprisals, Williamson agreed to an interview using a pseudonym.

"The Army conducts a mandatory annual briefing on racism and sexual harassment," he told WND. Having attended many such briefings over his long military service, Williamson has enforced these traditional policies in occasional instances of racism or sexual harassment.

Up until the current era, Williamson said, "they were all very standard and straightforward, sharing the commonly accepted view that no one should be treated disrespectfully because of the color of their skin, for example. … If a soldier did something demeaning or offensive, he knew it would not be tolerated." For Williamson, "this is the correct atmosphere that's worth enforcing, one that treats people decently regardless of the color of their skin."

But during the Biden-Harris administration, the Army's Equal Opportunity (EO) and Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) training has taken a disturbing turn, he said, characterizing it as "extremely partisan."

For example, Williamson disclosed, "In the last SHARP briefing that I attended, an Army NCO (non-commissioned officer) said that if a person who is transgender or homosexual hears somebody object from a religious basis to their lifestyle, it would be considered a [sexual harassment] violation."

The NCO also said, "You'll hear in a lot of places in the U.S., especially the south, that people will say their religion prohibits [transgenderism and homosexuality]." Shockingly, if a soldier expresses this traditional biblical morality publicly, Williamson said, "they'll be in violation of Army policy and against Army values."

For such a violation, he said, a service member "could get a poor evaluation and reprimand at the very least." Considering the subjective nature of the evaluation, he argued that "you could be considered a bad character – a deathblow to a career."

"Should command decide to pursue such an accusation, there would be very little recourse for the accused," Williamson added. "These are the kinds of things that can now get you out of the Army very quickly."

Corroborating Williamson's disturbing analysis is former U.S. Army public affairs officer Dr. Chase Spears, who sees these recent developments as part of a deliberate effort to ideologically influence U.S. troops through training.

"All military training theoretically exists to enhance fighting readiness," he told WND. "Training is supposed to be ideologically neutral."

"How your rifle shoots or tank runs are matters entirely set apart from your politics," Spears continued. "Activists target these supposed 'apolitical' venues to weave progressive ideologies into military culture, [and] when you call them on it, they hide behind the notion that their partisan briefings are merely part of readiness training."

Spears noted that the Army's use of SHARP and EO trainings for partisan purposes may be eclipsed by the service's highly controversial new policy on extremism.

"Under the rule of law," he said, "you have a right to face your accuser and face due process." However, under the Army's new extremism policy, he said, "commanders are pushed to presume guilt based on a single accusation."

What counts for extremism under these new policies?

Spears suggested, "According to a speech given by President and Commander in Chief Joe Biden in Philadelphia on Sept. 1, 2022, anyone who holds to a traditional sexual ethic, or who has a moral objection to abortion, or who simply voted for Donald Trump fits the category of an extremist."

"If you fit any of those criteria and are in the military today," Spears argued, "you know to keep your head down and mouth shut if you want to preserve your career."

For both Spears and Williamson, the Army's efforts amount to "a steady purge of Christian conservatives from America's military ranks."

There's been a stunning developed in the United Kingdom, where the abortion industry essentially has taken over society and the death-dealing procedure is available over "risk to the life of the woman," "preventing injury to her health," "risk of injury" to her mental health, or the risk the child, if born, would have a handicap.

Millions of the procedures have been done.

But now a report from the U.K. March for Life reveals that this year's event was bigger than ever.

It drew a crowd estimated at 10,000 to announce that abortion is not health care, as the industry practitioners claim.

According to a report from the pro-life group its recent event speakers, Dr. Calum Miller and Ira Winte,r "expressly challenged the notion that abortion is health care."

That, incidentally, is a talking point that has been adopted by Democrats in America, too, who are frantically trying to install abortion into state constitutions following the Supreme Court's ruling that the 1973 Roe precedent which created a federal "right" to abortion was unconstitutional and struck it down.

Regulation of the lucrative abortion industry now rests with the individual states.

The organization reported Dr. Haywood Robinson, a former abortionist and now 40 Days for Life campaigner, talked about the "abortion cartel" and how much the health "care" actually is a "business."

Adam Smith-Connor explained the facts of abortion: "Calling abortion health care because it involves doctors and drugs is like calling the death penalty health care because it also involves doctors and drugs."

The activists, the report said, "marched up past Parliament and looped back to Parliament Square, where this year the stage was topped with a huge screen. The same little band of protesters from earlier awaited us, though their chants could not contend with the lively band on stage and their speakers struggled to be heard."

March for Life's own Isabel Vaughan-Spruce said, "Our most basic form of justice must apply to all or it ceases to be justice and becomes selective privilege. Life is not a privilege to be earned but a gift bestowed on us at conception by Almighty God."

And Claire Culwell, a survivor uniquely able to voice the seldom heard abortion victim's perspective, explained how she learned after contacting her birth mother that she had a sibling who did not survive the procedure that left her with a club foot.

She said pro-lifers should get "uncomfortable" in order to save lives.

"Today you get to see the face, know the name and hear the experience of the abortion baby. When people talk about woman's rights they're forgetting something very important – I am not my birth mother's body, I was a separate human being."

The attendance total was reported higher than ever before.
