After the victory of President-Elect Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday night, China kept its comments neutral regarding the election, reiterating it wants to have a peaceful cooperation with the U.S.
China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said the U.S. election is an "internal affair," and China respects the choice of the American people.
"China's policy on the U.S. is consistent. We will continue to view and handle our bilateral relations under the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation," Mao said.
Gong Pengsheng, a government employee, told the AP Trump's election win will definitely have an impact on China, its economy, and the Chinese people.
"So there will definitely be an impact on China, including on China's economy, people's lives, and even on the overseas travel of people and the exchanges between nations," Gong said.
School teacher Wu Yichen said Trump's former policies during his first term in office were "not friendly" with China.
"I feel like his political and economic policies were not friendly with China before, but looking at how China developed now in its economy and power, I believe they should be a bit more restrained," Wu said.
Other Chinese citizens worry the victory will put additional pressure on China, particularly if Trump puts an end to the Ukraine war, which brought China strategic room and opportunities for growth.

The question of abortion rights was on the ballot in ten states in the 2024 election, with voters being given the choice to decide whether or not their respective state enshrines them. While some initiatives asked voters to decide if abortion bans would stay in place, others sought to amend their respective state's constitution to secure already existing abortion rights.
Arizona
Arizona banned abortion after 15 weeks of gestation in October 2022. Included on its ballot was a yes vote on the citizen initiative that would amend the state constitution, and allow abortion rights until the baby was deemed "viable," or around 23 weeks gestation.
According to data from the Arizona Secretary of State, voters have surpassed the required threshold of 50%, with 62.8% voting in favor of the amendment.
Colorado
Colorado needed 55% or more of the votes to pass its measure that would repeal a section of the state constitution that limits health insurance coverage for abortion. Voters approved the measure, which reached 61% of the total votes. Prior to the election, the state had no gestational limit on abortions.
Florida
The Sunshine State banned abortion after six weeks gestation in July of 2022, replacing a previous 15-week abortion ban. A yes vote on the citizen initiative Amendment 4 would have reversed this law and allowed abortion rights up until the baby was viable.
The measure needed to meet a 60% threshold of the votes to pass, however, it fell short on election day garnering roughly 58% of Florida's votes.
Maryland
Maryland pre-election had no gestational limit on abortion. A yes vote on the ballot would have enshrined abortion rights, allowing the right to terminate a pregnancy, regardless of whether or not the baby was viable. To pass, the measure needed to meet a 50% threshold, and was approved by voters.
Missouri
Missouri voters passed its Amendment 3 initiative by a razor-thin margin, coming in at 52.9% and making the state's threshold of 50%.
Missouri implemented a total abortion ban with few exceptions in 2022 after Roe v Wade was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Montana
Montana signed a 15-week abortion ban into law in May of 2023, including restrictions on Medicaid coverage for abortions, and stricter regulations for abortion clinics. The Constitutional Initiative 128, was included on the ballot to enshrine protections for abortion rights in the state Constitution.
The threshold to meet was 50% or more, and early results showed 58.3% of voters chose to support the measure.
Nebraska
Nebraska implemented a 12-week abortion ban in May 2023, and has two measures on the ballot. In order for measures to pass, they need majority support and at least 35% of the total votes in the state. If both are successful, the measure with the majority of votes between the two will win, pending approval from the governor.
Initiative 434 would ban abortions after the first trimester, with the exceptions being medical emergencies or if the pregnancy resulted from rape or incest. While Initiative 439 would amend the state's constitution and allow abortions until the baby is deemed viable.
Results show the voters chose to enshrine the state's exiting 12-week ban in the state constitution, with exceptions for rape, incest, or medical emergencies. The measure passed with 53.8% support.
Nevada
Nevada banned abortion after 24 weeks in May 2023 but added the Question 6 Right to Abortion Initiative to this year's ballot. A yes vote would place the question on the ballot in 2026, and if the second measure passes, the measure would amend the state constitution to provide abortions from qualified healthcare providers until the baby is deemed viable.
To pass, the measure had to receive at least 50% or more of the votes in its favor. Early results showed 37% of voters were opposed to the amendment.
New York
New York met its 50% threshold with voters passing an amendment to the state's constitution to bar discrimination against a person who has had an abortion. Prior to the election, abortions after 23 weeks were banned.
South Dakota
South Dakota banned abortions with few exceptions officially in 2022, however, voters have overwhelmingly rejected the measure to establish a constitutional right to an abortion in the first trimester.
Results from the South Dakota Secretary of State show voters have overwhelmingly voted against the proposed amendment, with 63% voting no.

The bad guys tried everything to try to stop Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
Russia hoax. Steele dossier financed by Clinton. Illegal FISA warrants to spy on Trump. Two impeachments. Irregular election practices in 2020 (fraud?). Heavy-handed raid on Mar-a-Lago. January 6 committee. Liz Cheney. Mitt Romney. Nikki Haley. 30 unconstitutional attempts to keep Trump off ballots. Two indictments by Smith/Garland. Indictments by Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, and Fani Willis … all by Democrats.
Media reporting 94% negatively about Trump. Replacing Biden with Harris. ABC supposedly gave questions to Harris before the debate and fact-checked Trump falsely during the debate. "60 Minutes" changing Harris' interview answers. SNL/NBC giving time for Harris on Saturday Night Live. False stats on jobs and the economy. Questionable polls like Selzer on Iowa. False claims that Harris was surging. False claims that Republicans were abandoning Trump. False reporting of infighting in the Trump campaign.
Two attempts to assassinate Trump. False reporting that abortion was the top issue for voters. More than a billion dollars to the Harris/Walz campaign from rich oligarchs.
So what was the result? Americans spoke. Trump won. Harris lost. He won the popular vote – the first Republican since 2004 to do so. He won the highest percentage of black and Hispanic votes in decades as a Republican, while Republicans won the U.S. Senate and are projected to maintain the House.
So, what did Juan Williams of Fox News say about it? That Trump won because his voters are racists and voted against a black woman for president. LOL. So typical: the race card, the gender card.
Trump won because he displayed the fortitude of a true executive warrior through all the adversities the bad guys threw at him, and because his record before COVID was so much better for Americans than the record of Biden/Harris.
Kamala Harris was a horrible candidate … flip-flops, no private-sector experience, lies, no real platform except to bash Trump, dumb as a doornail about the economy, about foreign affairs, word salads, not able to speak without a teleprompter, and with her poor pick of Walz as her running mate. She hid from any real questions by the press and was anointed to be the Democratic candidate without ever winning any state primary in 2020 or 2024.
Harris claimed that inflation was caused by price gouging even though CPI and PPI were tracking together and that she could tax unrealized capital gains, which is clearly unconstitutional. She disavowed being in charge of the huge increases in illegal immigration. Kamala divided Americans by race, gender, and wealth. Instead of answering questions about her policies, she glibly told us to read her 90 pages on the internet.
Trump won. MAGA won. America won.
Harris lost. Mainstream media, deep state, and all those liberal pundits lost. The anti-Trump RINOs lost. The race baiters like Barack, Michelle, and Oprah lost. They all, especially the media, need to take a hard look at their actions during this election. Americans saw them all for who they were.
Winning is fun. Losing sucks. Just ask Trump and Harris.

The Republican Party on Tuesday, as President Donald Trump was battling Kamala Harris for the White House, was making advances in Congress.
In the current makeup, the GOP held a 220-212 lead in the U.S. House, with three vacancies. The Senate saw Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., leading with a 51-49 split for the Democrats, which included independents who align with the leftist party.
But the Democrats were facing an uphill battle to keep their tiny margin in the Senate, as they had only 28 senators not up for re-election. The Republicans had 38 senators who are staying on, as the parties battled for the 34 seats on the ballot.
Senate races largely finished as expected with Republicans winning in Indiana (Jim Banks), West Virginia (Jim Justice), Mississippi (Roger Wicker), Tennessee (Marsha Blackburn), and Florida (Rick Scott.)
Justice replaced Joe Manchin, a Democrat who did not seek re-election.
Also winning were John Barrasso in Wyoming, Kevin Cramer in North Dakota, Pete Ricketts in Nebraska, John Curtis in Utah, Josh Hawley in Missouri, Bernie Moreno in Ohio, Ted Cruz in Texas and Deb Fischer in Nebraska.
Independent but left-leaning Bernie Sanders won again in Vermont, and Democrats Andy Kim, New Jersey; Lisa Rochester, Delaware; Chris Murphy, Connecticut; Liz Warren, Massachusetts; Sheldon Whitehouse, Rhode Island; Kirsten Gillibrand, New York; Angela Alsobrooks, Maryland; Timothy Kaine, Virginia; Maria Cantwell, Washington; Adam Schiff, California; Martin Heinrich, New Mexico; and Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota, won.
At the point the GOP had taken 51 seats, seven remained contested, including in Montana, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, where Republicans were leading their races.
Control of the House remained a question mark.
The GOP had had 220 seats, to 212 for the Democrats, with three vacancies.
Late evening, the Republican Party had secured 179 seats to the Democrats' 148, with 218 needed for a majority.

Sliding toward defeat in the late Tuesday and early Wednesday hours, Kamala Harris knocked off for the day, with a surrogate telling even her campaign staff and fans she wasn't going to comment on the voters' decision to send her packing at that time.
The fact she wouldn't even contact now President-elect Donald Trump to concede was an indication of her rejection of the voters' decision in the 2024 presidential race.
But she likely handled it better than America's legacy media, which has been acting as an extension of the Democrats' campaigns back to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
It was Elle Purnell, the elections editor at the Federalist, whose work also has appeared in Fox Business, Real Clear Politics and many other publications, who pointed out an "anonymous" television executive told NYMag, just days ago, "If half the country has decided that Trump is qualified to be president, that means they're not reading any of this media, and we've lost this audience completely. A Trump victory means mainstream media is dead in its current form."
Jeff Bezos reportedly recently ordered his Washington Post not to endorse Kamala Harris because he recognized a complete lack of trust on the part of the American population in legacy media, and he wanted to turn the corner on that fail. The Los Angeles Times also dropped plans for an endorsement.
In fact, legacy media outlets have, for years already, spouted Democrat Party talking points as if they were carefully researched and documented news items.
The industry was fully into Obama's "fundamentally change" America agenda. It blindly repeated the "Russia, Russia, Russia" lies created by the Democrats during the 2016 election.
In 2020 it was so far into the Democrat Party it helped suppress accurate revelations about Biden family scandals detailed in Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop.
Then came Jan. 6, 2021, and, according to those outlets, those who participated in that riot, turned violent following a protest, made Trump "Hitler," and "a dictator." Even to this day there are Democrats and their supporters who claim that Trump is an "insurrectionist" for telling his supporters that day to protest "peacefully."
Purnell's analysis detailed how while Kamala lost, the "biggest loser is the corporate media industrial complex" in the 2024 results.
"Her media shills are nursing wounds that will take far longer to recover from," she explained.
CNN's Jake Tapper exclaimed "holy smokes" when he realized the depth of the Harris failure.
MSNBC's Joy Reid now has started calling the entire state of Florida "fascist" for voting for Trump.
One CNN panel was "stunned into silence," according to published reports, by the results.
One that network, contributor David Axelrod claimed "racism and sexism" played roles in Harris' loss.
"In the early hours of Wednesday morning, legacy news networks were already sliding toward 2016 levels of melting down about the increasingly definite prospect of a presidential victory by Donald J. Trump. For them, Harris' stinging defeat is personal — because it's just as much a defeat for them as it is for her," the analysis found.
"The corporate media industrial complex has spent Donald Trump's entire political career trying to destroy him. Hand-in-hand with triple-letter government agencies and Democrats, they ran a hoax painting Trump as a Russian stooge based on ridiculous rumors commissioned by his opponent's campaign in 2016. They continued to spread the lie for the duration of his presidency, awarding each other Pulitzers for it. And they've only ramped up their efforts since then.
"The problem they're reckoning with tonight is this: those efforts didn't work. They're no longer able to control Americans by controlling their information intake, because their credibility is farther deep-sixed than the Clinton family's enemies list."
The problem is, she said, that Americans "didn't buy it."
The media "made Trump out to be a "fascist" and compared him to "Hitler," and "screeched" how his Madison Square Garden rally was in the "same venue that Nazi sympathizers once rented."
Voters tossed that propaganda, too.
What Americans had seen was Trump govern for four years and turn over power to Joe Biden, and then the results of that regime's leftism.
And, the analysis said, "They saw the media and their Big Tech allies religiously shut down true information and spread lies — about the virus' origins, Democrats' lockdowns, mask mandates, and forced vaccines, to name a few."
She said, "And as the media kept screaming about Trump being a 'threat,' Americans saw him handing out french fries, swapping jokes and family anecdotes with their favorite podcasters, and talking about how much he loves America."
Now, she said, the media's "maniacal" attacks on Trump simply aren't sticking.
The analysis also identified the core of the problem: "The legacy press isn't planning on repentance. They don't feel obligated to represent Americans; they feel entitled to control them. The loss of that control is making them apoplectic."

Franklin Graham, son of the legendary Christian evangelist Billy Graham and chief of the worldwide ministry Samaritan's Purse, one of the largest charities on the globe, has compiled a long list of "winners" from the 2024 presidential election in America.
None of them has a "D" or "R" attached. They're ordinary Americans, American institutions, industries and constitutionally protected rights.
The new President-elect is Donald Trump, the 45th president of the U.S. who now in January is to become the 47th president.
But Graham, never hesitant to comment on such issues when politics begin to infringe on the religious rights of Americans, said there were a lot of other winners:
It's a win for the family.
It's a win for the economy.
It's a win for millions of unborn children.
It's a win for freedom of speech.
It's a win for religious liberty. It's a win for law and order.
It's a win for American manufacturing.
It's a win for coal miners.
It's a win for farmers.
It's a win for the oil and gas industry.
It's a win for national security.
It's a win against bureaucracy and government regulators.
It's a win for freedom-loving people everywhere, not just here in America, but around the world.
On social media, he explained, "I thank God that Donald J. Trump won this election! This win is historic in many ways. Millions and millions of people were praying, and I believe God heard their prayers."
In fact, the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris agenda, which would have been pushed further and further by a Harris administration, has made promoting abortion worldwide and transgenderism in formal government policy and action primary goals.
Further, the administration has attacked the rights of Christians, trying to force Christian doctors and pharmacists to become part of the nation's lucrative abortion industry, trying to force Christian companies and Christian taxpayers to pay for abortion and transgenderism.
Byproducts of the Democrat duo's agenda have included 20% plus inflation, the multitude of problems from having a wide-open southern border, the instability that has developed around the globe by having a weak American leadership, and more.
Graham's list suggested references to Trump's pledge to restore American greatness, build its economy back, abandon the Biden-Harris abortion goals, discontinue using lawfare and federal bureaucracy weaponization against political enemies, and return to the principles of constitutional rights.

No conservative in America will be surprised by word that the ideological leftists at Google were electioneering for Kamala Harris on this 2024 Election Day.
Nor will they be surprised that the corporation was caught, as Republicans have a heightened sense of election fraud this time around. and are watching situations like this.
But they might be surprised that the company, long known for its Democrat and leftist advocacy, is trying to return to neutrality.
It is a report in the Federalist that revealed Google's pick to promote one political party.
It happened when people asked where they could vote for President Donald Trump, Google would send them to "top stories" and eventually to the Trump campaign website.
"But users who searched 'Where can I vote for Harris?' were immediately shown a link provided by Democracy Works and Voting Information Project that allows voters to enter an address and be directed to their nearest polling location," the Federalist report said.
Google admitted that it was a problem, and claimed to have fixed it.
The company said the "blatant election interference" actually happened because of an "oopsie," the report said.
It explained that its programming was corrupted because Harris is not just the name of the Democrat nominee this year, it's also the name of a Texas county.
"Google users were previously directed to Democracy Works when seeking information on how to register to vote," the report said. "Democracy Works bills itself as 'non-partisan' but is funded by 'prominent left-of-center private foundations, such as the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the Democracy Fund, and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.'"
It's not the first time Google's anti-Trump agenda has appeared. Shortly after an assassin shot at Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, nicking his ear, typing into Google "assassination attempt on t…" produced results for "assassination attempt on Truman."

In the final hours of the 2024 election cycle, MSNBC is still engaged in its trademark promotion of far-left narratives that are the diametric opposite of reality.
Ja'han Jones, a regular at the cable network, penned a story headlined "Trump's incoherent campaign message on guns."
"Trump is ending his campaign," the story starts, "having never resolved his incoherent stance on access to guns. In a new ad, Trump falsely claims Vice President Kamala Harris wants to confiscate guns. Harris has said no such thing; she's even discussed the fact she is a legal gun owner, which Trump – given his felony convictions – is not."
In reality, far from Harris saying "no such thing," as WND reported Monday a now-viral video reveals Harris confirming that she would indeed be willing and indeed eager to override the Second Amendment if she wins the election.
Posted on X personally by the social media platform's owner, Elon Musk, Harris is heard telling reporters that if Congress fails to do something about gun control within the first 100 days of her administration, then she will "take executive action."
"I think it's a great idea," says Harris, "but I mean listen, I don't think we lack for great ideas, as I've said many times, we've been having great ideas for decades, the problem is Congress has not had the courage to act. That is why from the beginning I have said, my agenda includes attempting to get Congress to act, but if they don't in the first 100 days of my administration, I'm gonna take executive action. What we need is action."
Comments Musk, "She wants to break the Constitution."
Meanwhile, Jones, who has previously warned on MSNBC that "It's becoming increasingly clear that the United States is under siege by Christian fundamentalists and traditionalists," continues in this latest report: "The irony here is that there is a candidate in this race who's promoted gun confiscation – and it's Trump. As I wrote in August, Trump openly promoted the idea of taking people's guns during a Fox News appearance in which he suggested bringing back stop-and-frisk policing policies that have disproportionately violated the civil rights of people of color in urban communities."
In fact, however, "stop and frisk" is a time-honored police practice that has saved countless lives in high-crime areas, and been upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in an 8-1 decision.
