The White House has begun spotlighting some of the criminal illegal aliens who already have been arrested under President Donald Trump's border security agenda.

That includes not just securing the border but also arresting and deporting those who broke the law to enter the U.S. illegally, and especially those who also are criminals.

Among those taken off the streets is Edgar De La Cruz-Manzo, a convicted child rapist.

And an MS-13 gang member from El Salvador wanted for aggravated homicide. And another wanted for aggravated homicide.

And a Honduran national found with cocaine, fentanyl and a firearm. And a murder suspect wanted by INTERPOL.

Others included those who were convicted of sexual abuse, kidnapping, assault, manslaughter, and much more.

A report from a CBS affiliate in Colorado confirmed that agents raided a "makeshift nightclub" near Denver over the weekend and captured almost 50 people, many who reportedly are affiliated with the violent Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela, whose members have been disrupting the local economy by simply moving in and taking over various apartment buildings, collecting rent from the residents who previously had been paying the building owners.

The report said, "TdA gang activity is partly to blame for unsafe conditions at several apartment buildings in Aurora. City officials there announced last week their intent to seek closure of the five remaining buildings in the Edge of Lowry complex at Dallas Street and East 12th Avenue. Residents have already been asked to vacate a sixth building in which a migrant couple was taken captive and beaten by alleged gang members late last year."

Previously police there said 19 people were arrested after an investigation, including 16 who are part of the gang.

Fox News reported that on Sunday alone, the Trump campaign to remove illegal aliens, especially criminals, from the United States took into custody nearly 1,000.

The report said a Nicaraguan national was arrested in Florida for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful carrying of a concealed weapon, discharging a firearm in public and driving with a suspended license; a Jamaican was arrested for possession of oxycodone and displaying a firearm during a felony offense, and more.

Hundreds of similar arrests have been made each day since President Donald Trump was inaugurated a week ago.

Border Czar Tom Homan confirmed those deportation numbers will be going up, and the security plan ramps up to full speed.

Over the weekend, an impasse developed in Trump's program when Colombian President Gustavo Petro refused two U.S. flights carrying deportees back to their homes there permission to land.

It was resolved within hours when Trump then announced a 25% tariff on Columbian goods, and that prompted Petro to back down.

"For Trump, the episode gave him a chance to show the rest of Latin America the risks they face if they do not fall in line with his deportation plan," a report said.

commentary at Twitchy explained, "During his administration, Joe Biden defended his open border policies by calling all those who streamed into the country on his watch (along with 'border czar' Kamala Harris and DHS Secretary Mayorkas) 'model citizens.'"

While demanding that Congress support his open-borders agenda, Biden had said, "We are a nation of immigrants and we shouldn't forget it. … Give me a break. These have been model citizens. Congress has to act."

JERUSALEM – Hamas has released a list to Israel's mediators of the 33 people scheduled for release over the coming days; a group on Thursday, followed by another cohort on Sunday. It also includes the names of eight people no longer alive and who are also due to be handed back to Israel.

According to Israeli officials, the list was divided into categories: women and men, living and deceased. The list revealed the majority of the additional 26 hostages slated for release in the first phase are still alive. Seven of the original list of 33 have been released to Israel – via the Red Cross in Gaza – over the past two Saturdays.

Liri Albag, Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa – whom Hamas lied about and said had died in IDF bombing – and Naama Levy were released on Saturday; the previous weekend, Doron Steinbrecher, Romi Gonen, and dual nationality U.K.-Israeli Emily Damari were released.

Israeli authorities updated the families. Some were informed that the list confirms the assessment their loved ones are alive. But other families were given the news all of the hostage families have dreaded for almost 480 days, and their nearest and dearest would not leave Gaza alive.

However, it was clarified to these families a hostage cannot be officially declared dead while their body remains in captivity unless Israel obtains unequivocal evidence. No doubt this is a source of scant succor to people in indescribable psychological pain and trauma.

Overnight, Israel received assurances from both the United States and Qatar, that the female civilian Arbel Yahoud would be freed as per the original ceasefire conditions of releasing the civilians first. She is expected to be freed along with Agam Berger, the only remaining IDF female lookout in captivity.

She was held with the four who were released on Saturday, but separated from them as Hamas seeks yet more ways to amplify the psychological torture. An unnamed hostage will also be released with Yahoud and Berger. The failure to resolve the situation regarding Yahoud meant the IDF would not permit residents of Gaza's north, who were moved to the south in the early part of the fighting. The resolution of the impasse meant they were able to resume their northward journey from 7 a.m. Monday.

While Israel has rejoiced at the reunification of families, there is no doubt the country is holding its collective breath over the fate of the Bibas family, and in particular Ariel, 5, and baby Kfir, 2. With Hamas playing games with the terms of the ceasefire – and which are deliberately designed to antagonize hostage families further – there is real concern for two red-headed little boys, one of whom has spent the majority of his short existence in Hamas captivity.

The family has described how their "world came crashing down" when the list of hostages to be released last Saturday, did not, as it should have done, include the names of civilians. A cousin of Shiri Bibas, the woman shown dazed and confused as she cradled her baby, and her other son clung onto her, while surrounded by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7, 2023, said the remaining family was living in an "ongoing nightmare."

Hamas said Shiri and the two boys were killed in an IDF airstrike in November 2023, although there has been no official confirmation of their deaths. The terrorist group released a propaganda video of their operatives telling a grief-stricken Yarden Bibas, Shiri's husband and the father of the two boys, his family was dead.

"Make America Healthy Again," the new Trump administration agenda inspired and led by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., couldn't be more vital – indeed, crucial – considering the alarming decline in Americans' health. Consider:

* The U.S. is in the grip of a full-blown obesity epidemic, with well over 200 million Americans – including millions of children – being overweight or obese. According to the CDC, over 40% of adults in the United States are clinically obese, in stark contrast with the 1950s, when approximately 10% of U.S. adults were obese.

* The number of American children and adults with autism spectrum disorders has exploded, rising by 175% over just the last decade. One out of every 36 children in the U.S. has been diagnosed with autism, up from 1 in 44 as recently as 2021. In contrast, during the 1950s, autism was virtually nonexistent, afflicting between 0.01% and 0.05% of Americans born during that decade.

* Early-onset cancer cases rose almost 80% over the last three decades and show no signs of slowing down. One major 2022 study reveals the incidence of early-onset cancers – including breast, colon, esophagus, kidney, liver and pancreas – has been dramatically increasing since around 1990.

* A staggering 38 million Americans are suffering from diabetes, a number expected to increase to almost 55 million in the next five years. During the late 1950s, the prevalence of diabetes in the U.S. was estimated to be 9 cases per 1,000 people, for a total of 1 million cases.

What's going on? Why is the health of Americans degrading so radically? With the rapid growth of knowledge and technology, including medical technology, one might expect the exact opposite to be the case – that everyone's health would be ever improving.

Yet Americans are becoming less and less healthy, including, tragically, the nation's children. Fully 50% of American children are dealing with some sort of chronic health issue, up from less than 1% five decades ago.

Obviously, with Americans' health in crisis, the goal to "Make America Healthy Again" is welcome and necessary. But there's one major obstacle to achieving this goal that needs to be addressed up front.

They all lied

As deadly and traumatizing as the COVID-19 pandemic was, it did bring about a mass awakening in at least one important area: Americans discovered they absolutely could not trust the government agencies tasked with safeguarding their health. From the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to the Food and Drug Administration, to the National Institutes of Health and other branches of the federal Department of Health and Human Services, they all lied to Americans, either explicitly or by willful suppression of the truth.

Most visible, of course – and setting the standard for all other government bureaucrats – was Dr. Anthony Fauci, longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, under the NIH. Fauci acted the part of the kindly, grandfatherly presidential adviser on all things COVID. Unfortunately, he turned out to be a classic sociopath, smiling while lying about virtually everything – from mask-wearing (he initially admitted the truth, that masks are ineffective, only later doing a full 180 and insisting on universal masking, even outdoors!) to imposing the "six-foot rule" (later admitting this arbitrary rule was based on exactly zero science), to perversely denying that natural immunity provided ideal protection against COVID-19 just as it does for other viruses – a pivotal and unconscionable lie that flung open the doors to ruthless vaccine mandates.

Some of Fauci's lies were not only dangerous, but jaw-droppingly corrupt – like his insistence that COVID-19 arose spontaneously from an open-air food market in Wuhan, China, rather than from the level-4 biohazard research facility just a few blocks up the street (the Wuhan Institute of Virology) where ongoing mad-scientist "gain-of-function research" – funded by the NIH at Fauci's direction – was focused on rendering bat coronaviruses more dangerous and more transmissible to humans.

Meanwhile, the CDC and FDA perversely denigrated and mocked the use of ivermectin, a Nobel Prize-honored drug that had saved literally millions of lives from various other deadly infectious diseases, as documented in the peer-reviewed "Journal of Antibiotics." Yet despite multiple studies proving ivermectin to be an effective and life-saving early treatment for COVID-19, it was ridiculed mercilessly by the federal health bureaucracies and their news media "echo chamber." Similar story with hydroxychloroquine.

Why did they all lie, mocking and discouraging Americans from taking advantage of these drugs, whose safety was long-acknowledged by the FDA, and which could have saved many more lives and enormously reduced suffering during the COVID pandemic?

That's easy: They maniacally wanted every man, woman and child in America to take "the jab" – that is, the various experimental mRNA COVID-19 shots that turned out to be some of the most problem-ridden vaccines in medical history.

Clearly, the medical bureaucracies within Big Government have not been worthy of Americans' trust. Nor has Big Pharma, which has proven itself to be far more motivated by gargantuan profits than safeguarding human lives.

Hollywood's Selena Gomez on Monday posted – and then deleted – a video of herself on Instagram sobbing uncontrollably as she reacts to President Donald Trump's deportations of criminal illegal aliens.

"I just want to say that I'm so sorry," Gomez, 32, says through tears, with a Mexican flag emoji visible.

"All my people are getting attacked. The children, they don't understand.

"I'm so sorry I wish I could do something, but I can't. I don't know what to do. I'll try everything, I promise."

Facing apparent backlash, she later shared another message on her Instagram Story, writing, "Apparently it's not ok to show empathy for people."

Among those slamming the former Disney star is Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, who said on X:

"'My people?' Aren't you American?

"Where was the sobbing over the 100,000 Americans dead from fentanyl poisoning? Where were these tears over the 340,000 children who went missing after being trafficked over our border? Why wasn't there a breakdown for Rachel Nungary, Rachel Morin, or Laken Riley? I guess those Americans weren't 'your people?'"

Trump's Border Czar Tom Homan appeared on television Monday to react to the Gomez meltdown.

"We're gonna do this job, and we're gonna enforce the laws of this country," Homan told Sandra Smith of Fox News. "If they don't like it, then go to Congress and change the law."

"We're going to do this operation without apology. We're gonna make our community safer."

"It is all for the good of this nation. And we're gonna keep going. No apologies. We're moving forward."

Gomez produced the Netflix documentary, "Living Undocumented," which reveals the lives of illegal immigrants in the U.S.

Though she was born in Texas, Gomez previously indicated her aunt crossed the American border from Mexico while hiding in the back of a truck.

Now President Donald Trump, whose agenda includes "Drill, baby, drill," approval for exploration and mining, new energy pipelines, and much more, has been described as "the greatest environmental hero" of this century.

It is Marc Morano, the chief of the Climate Depot website for energy and environmental news, who gave him the label.

"This man has powers and abilities far beyond mortal men — Donald Trump," he explained.

His comments came in an interview on Fox.

He explained, "Who would have thought that the Audubon Society, Greenpeace, and the Sierra Club — would be silent on whale mortality and bird mortalities? Donald Trump is turning out to be the greatest environmental hero of the 21st century. And I don't mean — about endangered species in terms of offshore wind and whales, but even for those worried about global warming.

"Trump's a climate champion because he's bringing in more fossil fuels from the Western world, where we have the highest environmental standards, the highest technological advances, and the cleanest way to make energy. We're relying less on China, the Middle East, Venezuela, and Russia. This is how it's done. The climate activists should be embracing Trump."

He wondered where are the "Volvo-driving, the 1970s save-the-whale liberals? The artist formerly known as the bad Orange man — Donald Trump is now their champion. It is amazing."

He cited the failings of the so-called green wind power, as well as solar.

Worldwide they're only 14% of electricity "despite trillions in subsidies."

"Donald Trump is just saying the emperor has no clothes when it comes to wind and solar."

Tech companies across America were surprised this week by a Chinese announcement about an artificial intelligence advance, and industry-wide, stocks were off a couple of percentage points.

One report described the industry as "freaking out" and another said the stocks "crashed," although the industry itself was off only a modest amount and even individual stocks in companies that were impacted directly by the development were off only about 10% or thereabouts.

The word was that Chinese artificial intelligence firm DeepSeek had "leapfrogged" U.S. performance for AI.

The Nasdaq Composite of tech companies was down 3.4% and the Dow was off 180 points.

It was DeepSeek, launched only a week ago, that announced it had succeeded in building an AI model on a "shoestring budget."

DeepSeek reported of its language model to generate human-like conversation.

Reports purport that the model already has been tested against America's software giants like ChatGPT, and in some cases outperformed them.

Experts say the development is a "wake-up" to American tech operations.

The news comes following an announcement from President Donald Trump of a $500 billion investment in a new AI idea called "Stargate," that would include OpenAI and ChatGPT.

The news comes after the now-gone Joe Biden administration had tried to hamper China's AI industry.

The market already had exhibited fluctuations in recent days as investors assess the impact of President Trump's economic agenda, which focuses on American first and buying American.

It includes plans for tax changes, tariffs, imports and exports and much more.

NBC News reported also hit with stock drops of 2% to 4% were various tech giants including Microsoft and Google parent Alphabet.

Reuters reported DeepSeek claimed its programming uses cheaper computer chips and less data. Interest in the claims immediately pushed its product past ChaptGPT as the top-rated free application on Apple's App Store.

In the report, Adam Sarhan, CEO of 50 Park Investments, said the question is whether the Chinese operation can disrupt other plans.

JERUSALEM – In one of his first official acts as new secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth spoke with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the phone Sunday, during which the two discussed the "unbreakable bond" which exists between the United States and Israel.

According to an official, "both leaders discussed the importance of advancing mutual security interests and priorities, especially in the face of persistent threats. The secretary stressed the United States is fully committed, under President Trump's leadership, to ensure Israel has the capabilities it needs to defend itself."

Netanyahu warmly congratulated the new head of the Department of Defense on his confirmation.

Hegseth was speaking in the wake of the Trump administration's release of a significant tranche of MK-84 2,000-pound bombs, which the Biden administration halted, concerned Israel would use them in its assault on Rafah – which took place anyway despite the unofficial embargo.

A statement from the Prime Minister's Office read: "Secretary Hegseth noted his many years of support for the State of Israel and his friendship with Prime Minister Netanyahu, and promised the U.S. would stand shoulder to shoulder alongside Israel and was fully committed to its security."

At his confirmation, Hegseth responded to a question from U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., about Israel saying he was a Christian who "robustly supported the State of Israel and its existential defense." He added for a flourish, "I support Israel destroying and k*lling every last member of Hamas."

A powerful Republican in Congress investigating Joe Biden and his family members for corruption says the former president's last-minute pardons for his relatives are not only "an admission of guilt," they're also not legitimate.

"I don't think these preemptive pardons would hold up in court," House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., told Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures."

"This is an admission of guilt by Joe Biden. Everybody in America knows it."

"I would like to see a jury that would be sympathetic to what he said. We're pardoning you for anything you may have done over the past decade pertaining to influence peddling. That's baloney, and no jury in America would buy that, in my opinion."

Bartiromo replied: "Wow. So you think the preemptive pardons are not legitimate."

"I don't, but there are a lot better legal minds than mine I'm sure," Comer answered.

U.S. Rep. James Comer, R-Ky.

"But, you know, I don't think the average person that works hard and pays taxes has much sympathy for a president that in his last act in office pardoned his entire family for financial public corruption and didn't have the guts to tell anybody why he did it."

Bartiromo noted her audience was "disappointed" with the lack of legal action against the Bidens, and asked Comer: "With these pardons, should we just expect after all that work you put into it, after all the conversations we've had, they got away with it?"

"I certainly hope not," Comer responded. "The ball's gonna be in [Attorney General nominee] Pam Bondi's court. We're communicating with her people right now. I've had a good meeting with [nominated FBI Director] Kash Patel.

Pam Bondi

"One thing I'm confident is going to happen and you saw that with [CIA Director] John Ratcliffe, we're gonna hold people in the government accountable that were involved in the cover-up. He's already held the 51 intelligence officials that lied to the American people when they said the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation when most of them, in fact, knew that it was not Russian disinformation.

"Now we want to get the people that were involved in the cover-ups because what we found in our investigation, and I write about it extensively in my book, is that there were four different agencies investigating the Bidens, the IRS, the Department of Justice, the FBI and the Securities and Exchange Commission. And, obviously, they wanted to get to Joe Biden because none of this money would be coming into the president's son or brother were it not for Joe Biden.

"Every time they got ready to ask Joe Biden, they were told to stand down by a Deep State actor. I want those people held accountable."

JERUSALEM – Middle East/Israel Morning Brief

Marco Rubio: Taliban holding more than U.S. hostages than has been reported

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio threatened the heads of the Taliban with a "very big bounty" after hearing that more American hostages are being held by the group, the New York Post reported.

"Just hearing the Taliban is holding more American hostages than has been reported," the secretary wrote on X.

"If this is true, we will have to immediately place a VERY BIG bounty on their top leaders, maybe even bigger than the one we had on Bin Laden," he threatened.

Last week, two Americans held by the Taliban were freed in a prisoner swap.

Report: Hamas cold-bloodedly executes several Gazans accused of 'collaborating with Israel'

Hamas terrorists recently executed several individuals accused of being "collaborators" with Israel in the Gaza Strip, as shown in a video on a Telegram account, reported Israel National News.

According to a report in Times of Israel, the video, posted to Gaza Now's Telegram account, depicts more than a dozen armed Hamas terrorists, many wearing uniforms, firing on three men who are lying on the ground.

The accompanying caption reads: "The moment of punishing the agents of the Zionist occupation who caused the killing of thousands of our Palestinian people in Gaza."

The authenticity of the video has not yet been independently verified.

Hamas, which took over the Gaza Strip in a bloody coup in 2007, regularly claims to have captured "Israeli spies," and many times it tries them and sentences them to death.

In September 2022, Hamas authorities executed two Palestinian Arabs who were convicted of assisting Israel by giving it information which resulted in the deaths of two people.

Trump urges Egypt, Jordan to accept more Palestinian refugees from Gaza

U.S. President Donald Trump said Saturday he'd like to see Jordan, Egypt and other Arab nations increase the number of Palestinian refugees they are accepting from the Gaza Strip – potentially moving out enough of the population to "just clean out" the war-torn area and create a virtual clean slate.
