One group already considering legal challenge to Democrats' agenda

An analysis of a new gun control plan in Colorado described it as "monumentally unconstitutional," but that didn't deter leftist Gov. Jared Polis from signing it into law.

The analysis, from RedState also called the law "insanely unconstitutional," and as proposed would have banned the production and most sales of semi-automatic rifles like the AR-15 "(which would be bad enough on its own) but also makes essentially all modern-day handguns illegal as well."

The state now bans the manufacture and most sales of semiautomatic firearms with detachable magazines, unless a purchase jumps through a laundry list of new demands from the state.
"To say this is blatantly unconstitutional is an understatement. The Supreme Court ruled in District of Columbia vs. Heller that firearms in common use are protected under the Second Amendment for 'traditionally lawful purposes.' That includes self-defense. Semi-automatic handguns and rifles with detachable magazines are the most commonly used guns in the United States. It's not even a question that this gun control law runs afoul of Supreme Court precedent. That means that Polis signed something that he has to know is illegal, making this move all the more insidious," the analysis revealed.

Colorado, which has moved to the extreme left in recent years under the dictates of homosexual Gov. Jared Polis, is no stranger to losing at the Supreme Court. It tried to demand that business owners speak only its approved messaging and lost – twice. It tried to remove President Trump from the 2024 ballot, and lost. It now is facing another significant loss – in its agenda to insist that counselors in the state speak only its approved messaging and promote transgenderism's chemical treatments and body mutilations.

The analysis noted, "The stakes here could not be higher. If Colorado gets away with this, you can kiss the Second Amendment goodbye. If a state gets away with largely banning semi-automatic handguns, it can get away with banning any type of firearm. This is the most radical gun control legislation to ever be signed, and it must be fiercely opposed.

A report at the Center Square said the law actually allows a purchase of such a weapon but only after a buy endures a "firearms safety course" and obtains an "eligibility card" from their local sheriff.

They also must prove they've completed a "firearm education course."

Meg Froelich, a Democrat who pushed for the new restrictions on the Second Amendment, claimed the solution is that purchasers must be required to finish "a rigorous safety training course and acquire a permit to purchase the most deadly weapons on the market to ensure that they are not a danger to themselves or our communities."

The California State Shooting Association responded, after Polis' signature, that the state is in "direct assault on the Second Amendment."

The law "imposes unprecedented restrictions on the purchase of semi-automatic firearms through a burdensome permit-to-purchase scheme," the association said in a statement sent to The Center Square.

ABC reported the move by the state run by Democrats in the legislature and governor's office is seen as part of a "longrunning Democratic campaign."

A legal challenge already is being considered by the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners.

The report noted that the leftists' logic was that by disallowing detachable magazines, mass shooters couldn't quickly reload: they would have to do that bullet-by-bullet when their weapon had only a permanently attached magazine.

President Donald Trump is serious about protecting sporting events that are intended for women or girls against men or boys who simply say they are female.

As officials in USA Fencing are finding out.

A report from Fox explains that the Trump administration now is investigating USA Fencing for punishing a woman who refused to compete against a man who said he was a woman.

Department of Education Secretary Linda McMahon said, on Friday, "We have a special Title IX investigations team that is going to be investigating anyone who was associated with this to make sure that this doesn't continue to happen. The president has made crystal clear that he is not going to tolerate men being able to compete in women's sports, he signed an executive order, and we're upholding Title IX."

She said the special investigators will be probing the USA Fencing event where officials punished women's fencer Stephanie Turner for not competing against a man.

She was disqualified from the event and "escorted out of the venue," the report said.

The scenario prompted ridicule of the man in the women's competition, online:

According to Fox, an official with the Department of Education confirmed that the University of Maryland, where the event was held, also has a "responsibility" for the attack on Turner.

That official told Fox, "The nation watched as a female competitor bravely took a knee and forfeited an inherently unfair fencing match after discovering that her opponent was a male. No woman should have to recuse herself from a match that she trained diligently for because she fears for her safety. As a tournament host, the University of Maryland has a responsibility to follow Title IX by not allowing males to compete in female competitions and occupy female-only intimate facilities."

Officials said Wagner College also could be in trouble because it failed its responsibility to not allow men on women's rosters.

The Title IX investigations team, newly formed, is a work of the Departments of Education and Justice.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has explained, "Protecting women and women's sports is a key priority for this Department of Justice. This collaborative effort with the Department of Education will enable our attorneys to take comprehensive action when women's sports or spaces are threatened and use the full power of the law to remedy any violation of women's civil rights."

From the Department of Justice came blame for Joe Biden for the problem.

"Women across America have spent the last four years disenfranchised by the Biden administration that allowed men to compete in girls' sports – jeopardizing their safety, stealing their scholarships, and stripping them of hard-earned awards. The Title IX Special Investigations Team will continue to go after bad actors who continue to endanger young women with woke gender ideology and will leverage every legal resource available to ensure states and organizations follow Title IX to protect women's civil rights and competitive sports," the DOJ statement said.

USA Fencing officials have doubled down, insisting they want to have men compete against women.

They call their agenda "an inclusive, respectful community."

The organization, however, repeatedly has gone political with its sports events, even insisting that it will prefer locations without abortion restrictions for events.

The United States is at odds with Mexico over its allowance of millions of illegal aliens to arrive at, and cross, America's southern border.

Americans further take offense at the tons of drugs, including the dangerous fentanyl, that are shipped from Mexico into the United States.

Then there are the drug cartels themselves, which President Donald Trump now has designated as foreign terrorist organizations.

Now it's water.

President Trump said, "Mexico OWES Texas 1.3 million acre-feet of water under the 1944 Water Treaty, but Mexico is unfortunately violating their Treaty obligation. This is very unfair, and it is hurting South Texas Farmers very badly. Last year, the only Sugar Mill in Texas CLOSED, because Mexico has been stealing the water from Texas Farmers.

"Ted Cruz has been leading the fight to get South Texas the water it is owed, but Sleepy Joe refused to lift a finger to help the Farmers. THAT ENDS NOW! I will make sure Mexico doesn't violate our Treaties and doesn't hurt our Texas Farmers. Just last month, I halted water shipments to Tijuana until Mexico complies with the 1944 Water Treaty. My Agriculture Secretary, Brooke Rollins, is standing up for Texas Farmers, and we will keep escalating consequences, including TARIFFS and, maybe even SANCTIONS, until Mexico honors the Treaty, and GIVES TEXAS THE WATER THEY ARE OWED!"

The Hill explained Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum admitted her country had failed to meet its obligations.

She claimed that was caused by drought.

Cruz confirmed, "I can tell you, Mexico is in the process now of negotiating with the State Department to provide for the water. We're going to get the water. And that's a great victory in America."

The original agreement requires Mexico to send 1.75 million acre-feet of water to the U.S. from the Rio Grande every five years, while the U.S. sends 1.5 million acre-feet of water every year to Mexico from the Colorado River.

An acre-foot of water, by volume, is the water needed to cover one acre of land one foot deep. It's about 326,000 gallons.

Aircraft was heading toward New Jersey when the 'chopper blade flew off'

The crash of a helicopter that spun out of control and crashed into the Hudson River in New York has killed a family of five plus the pilot.

The New York Post said the victims included Agustin Escobar, president of Siemens in Spain, along with his wife and their three children.

One witness reported the helicopter heading toward New Jersey when the "chopper blade flew off."

"I don't know what happened to the tail, but it just straight-up dropped. It dropped feet away from Holland Tunnel, and I can't imagine if it hit it," Avi Rakesh said to NBC.

The White House has released a short video of Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt praying before, as one social media personality said, "going to the den of wolves."

"This is what I voted for," said one, with others adding, "Very cool" and "Thank you @PressSec. Christ is King."

She said, "Lord Jesus, please give us the strength, the knowledge, the ability to articulate our words, and have fun and be confident in Jesus' name. Amen."

Leavitt is the youngest-ever White House press secretary but already has a solid reputation for putting reporters, often senior to her, in their place when they offer leading questions or try to manipulate her answers.

She was in the press office during Trump's first term, and worked on his 2024 campaign, the Gateway Pundit said.

She was on maternity leave for the birth of her first child when Trump was shot in the ear during a campaign event in Butler, Pa., in July 2024, and she immediately ended her leave to return to the campaign.

U.S. attorney says state officials have ordered police not to help federal officials

A new report at RedState reveals that the acting U.S. attorney for New Jersey has ordered an investigation into New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy and his attorney general, Matt Platkin.

They are suspected of "obstructing" federal immigration enforcement.

"I am unfortunately going to announce on your show tonight, Sean, and I want it to be a warning for everybody that I have instructed my office today to open an investigation into Governor Murphy, to open an investigation into Attorney General Platkin, who has also instructed the state police not to assist any of our federal … agencies that are under my direction," Alina Habba confirmed.

Habba's announcement came during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

The trigger for her announcement was an order by the state officials that their state officers "are not permitted to enforce civil immigration enforcement and enforcing administrative warrants issued by federal immigration authorities without a court order."

The report noted, "The order in question advises state police not to contact ICE—not even via phone—if they see a legitimate warrant for deportation. This is contrary to federal immigration enforcement laws."

Habba said the state's agenda will need to be changed.

"[Attorney General] Pam Bondi has made it clear, and so has our president, that we are to take all criminal — violent criminals and criminals – out of this country and to completely enforce federal law," Habba explained.

Those who try to prevent the enforcement of federal law "will be charged in the state of New Jersey for obstruction, for concealment, and I will come after them hard."

Murphy has established a reputation for adhering to federal law.

"Earlier this year, Governor Murphy made a wild admission of sorts in an interview with the progressive grassroots organization Blue Wave New Jersey, claiming that he harbored an illegal immigrant in his home," the report said. "He taunted federal officials by saying 'good luck' in trying to come get her."

Electronic voting machines, basically computers programmed to tabulate the vote data that is input, have been around for a long time. Probably about as long as hacking into computers, an issue that has been a concern for that same period of time.

Observers, even election experts, often have made claims about the porous defenses built into the machines, and sometimes have been sued by voting machine corporations for expressing their doubts.

Now Tulsi Gabbard, President Donald Trump's director of national intelligence, has confirmed in a bombshell announcement that there is "evidence that electronic voting machines have been tampered with to manipulate election outcomes in the United States," a report in the Gateway Pundit reveals.

The report described Gabbard's revelation as "jaw-dropping" and explained she said, "We have evidence of how these electronic voting systems have been vulnerable to hackers for a very long time and vulnerable to exploitation to manipulate the results of the votes being cast, which further drives forward your mandate to bring about paper ballots across the country so that voters can have faith in the integrity of our elections."

One of the president's executive orders concerns elections managers being required to use paper ballots, and not be allowed to rely solely on electronic machines.

The Pundit explained, "Her statement confirmed what many conservatives have long suspected — that the very foundations of America's electoral system have been compromised."

The report said, "Last year, some of the world's top hackers convened in Las Vegas for the annual DEF CON conference, specifically at the Voting Village event, to probe and expose vulnerabilities in voting machines set to be used in the upcoming November election. From Friday through Sunday, hackers at Voting Village tested various voting machines and related equipment, attempting to bypass security measures. Harri Hursti, co-founder of Voting Village, noted that the list of vulnerabilities found was extensive but consistent with previous years."

Further, Scott Algeier, of the Information Technology-Information Sharing and Analysis Center, told the publication the solution isn't simple.

"Even if you find a vulnerability next week in a piece of modern equipment that's deployed in the field, there's a challenge in getting the patch and getting the fix out to the state and local elections officials and onto the equipment before the November election. It's not a 90-day fix, It's not a Microsoft every Tuesday, issue your patch and everything works fine. It's a pretty complicated process."

Voting machines, in fact, have been documented to have been hacked previously. In 2017 at DEF CON, one hacker took just 90 minutes to get inside the voting machine and vote remotely.

The report continued, "In 2023, University of Michigan Professor of Computer Science and Engineering J. Halderman, revealed in a Georgia courtroom that Dominion Voting Systems were vulnerable to hacks."

New, or expanding, investors in America now include Apple, Eli Lilly, Stargate, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and more.

Trillions of dollars are now involved.

That's according to a report by Fox Business that explains Trump has revealed some $7 trillion in investment income that is arriving in the U.S.

"We have, I would say, more than $7 trillion now … of investments coming in," Trump said on Wednesday. "Apple is coming in for $500 billion alone. We have other companies coming in with massive numbers. We have car companies that are coming in. No, we've never seen anything like it, maybe in the 1940s or '50s or something, but we've never seen anything like it."

Officials actually have said some of the amounts that have been committed actually will rise as projects progress.

"For instance, Stargate, a project by Softbank, OpenAI and Oracle that involves the establishment of data centers for the further development of artificial intelligence, has committed $500 billion. Apple also committed $500 billion, according to the data from the White House official. Computing and electronics giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) has committed to a $100 billion investment in the U.S., and NVIDIA is in for $200 billion," the report explained.

The totals have changed several times as new commitments have been confirmed.

Other commitments have come from Hyundai, $20 billion, Venture Global, $18 billion, Johnson & Johnson, $55 billion.

The higher numbers are from nations, with $1.4 trillion from the UAE, $1 trillion from Japan, Saudi Arabia's $600 billion and India's $310 billion, the White House said.

"It's great to see companies looking to make strategic investments within the United States. We look forward to working with the administration to reduce regulatory burdens to spur further investments," said Jordan Crenshaw, of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Chamber Technology Engagement Center.

report at RedState expanded, "On Wednesday, the White House released data showing that since January (what was it that happened in January?) $7 trillion in private investment has been committed to come to the United States. That's $7 trillion – A 'T' followed by a 'rillion.' That's real money."

It added, "Note that a lot of the companies involved are from other countries or do much of their production in other countries. Now, of course, all of this is contingent on the companies following through – actually breaking ground and building new facilities, for instance. But if half of them follow through, that's still $3.5 trillion. That's $3.5 trillion invested in on-shore production that will create jobs, generate tax revenue, revive struggling communities, and maybe, just maybe, start the resurrection of America's dwindling middle class."

If you thought the USAID-funded gay sex comic books and DEI-promoting theatrical productions were bad, you probably thought the revelations about people who, allegedly, are more than 200 years old collecting Social Security payments were horrific.

It gets worse.

President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency, under the directorship of Elon Musk, has confirmed that thousands of people who haven't been born yet are demanding benefits be paid to them under the nation's unemployment compensation programs.

One report at Fox described the results as "eyebrow-raising."

The investigation so far as found more than 24,000 people over 115 years old claiming $59 million in benefits.

And 28,000 from 1 to 5 years old claiming $254 million.

Then there are the 9,700 people with birth dates more than 15 years in the future claiming $69 million in benefits.

DOGE said, "In one case, someone with a birthday in 2154 claimed $41k."

Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Trump's secretary of labor, said it's another benefit for Americans, the DOGE team's discovery of nearly $400 million in fraudulent unemployment payments.

"The Labor Department is committed to recovering Americans' stolen tax dollars. We will catch these thieves and keep working to root out egregious fraud – accountability is here."

Musk said, on social media, "Your tax dollars were going to pay fraudulent unemployment claims for fake people born in the future! This is so crazy that I had to read it several times before it sank in."

He added, "The oldest living American is 114 years old, so it is safe to say that anyone 115 or older is collecting 'unemployment' due to being dead. There was no sanity check for impossibly young or impossibly old people for unemployment insurance."

report at the Gateway Pundit noted White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt earlier had confirmed a "huge discovery."

"There has been a discovery. I hate to leave you hanging on a cliff, but I don't want to get ahead of the president on that. But I can confirm there has been a discovery, but it's just not quite ready for release," Leavitt said.

report at the Gateway Pundit calls it "peak liberal lunacy" and it certainly breaks ground for those entertainers who get in front of a camera and interview people.

It was when CNN's "golden boy," Anderson Cooper, actually "misgendered" a civil rights lawyer.

It happened during a town hall in which CNN was promoting Bernie Sanders. And the result was Cooper "on the receiving end of a brutal pronoun smackdown."

Cooper called out Grace Thomas, a Democrat activist.

"I want to introduce Grace Thomas. She's a local civil rights attorney," Cooper said.

Thomas immediately corrected him: "It's they/them pronouns, actually."

The Gateway Pundit furthered the story: "And the irony? Grace—sorry, they—went on to ask Bernie Sanders a question about why 'men' are abandoning the Democrat Party. She demanded to be called they/them but was perfectly comfortable referring to an entire demographic as men. The hypocrisy was too loud to ignore."

Social media noticed: "Isn't she misgendering by calling people she doesn't know 'men'? At some point will she realize her ideas are insane?"

Collin Rugg, of Trending Politics, took to X, "CNN's Anderson Cooper gets corrected after misgendering a civil rights attorney at a town hall event with Bernie Sanders. Wow, what a bigot. Lmao."

Podcast host Riley Gaines demanded, "Anderson Cooper's immediate resignation for believing what his eyes were telling him he saw. Bigot."

The ideology of using pronouns that are often nonsensical to refer to people, because that's what they choose, comes out of the LGBT community, specifically the transgenders, who insist on being called the gender they are not because that's what they want.

Following the science, changing from male to female, or vice versa, doesn't happen, as being male or female is embedded in the human body down to the DNA level.

Joe Biden was a radical fan of transgenderism, insisting on chemicals and surgical body mutilations even for children. President Donald Trump looked at the science and reversed that agenda immediately.
