Superstar model Hailey Bieber rushed to ER for stroke-like symptoms due to blood clot

Model Hailey Bieber, wife of singer Justin Bieber, left her millions of fans in shock last week after it was reported that she suffered stroke-like symptoms due to what doctors said was a blood clot in her brain, People Magazine reported

The model described how the situation unfolded, which sounded incredibly scary.

“On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital,” Bieber wrote in an Instagram post.

She added: “They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours.”

The good news

Fortunately, Bieber was able to recover from the blood clot situation with little medical intervention, other than being monitored by doctors and presumably administered medication to help the body pass the clot on its own.

She added in her IG post: “Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!”

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love,” the model concluded.

Her husband, Justin Bieber, shared an image on Instagram the next day showing the two together, with a caption that read, “Can’t keep this one down.”

Given the Biebers’ staggeringly huge social media following, news of Hailey’s hospitalization rocked the social media world until it was revealed that she safely recovered from what could have otherwise been a very scary, and potentially fatal, medical emergency.

Justin’s COVID scare

Hailey Bieber’s medical emergency came in the wake of her husband testing positive for COVID-19 last month, which caused the cancellation of a number of his tour shows, leaving his fans concerned and upset.

“Due to positive COVID results within the Justice Tour family, we will, unfortunately, have to postpone Sunday’s show in Las Vegas,” a statement from his team read. “Justin is, of course, hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority.”

Luckily for their health, and for their fans, it now appears that the two celebrities are in much better shape.
