There continues to be ample speculation, despite an announced re-election campaign, that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will not be the Democratic Party's ticket in the 2024 election.
Replacing Biden as the Democratic nominee in 2024 will be former first lady Michelle Obama, according to a prediction from veteran political operative Roger Stone, the Western Journal reported.
Stone further asserted that in addition to a "rigged" Democratic primary process, the prospective vice presidential slot on an Obama-led ticket would be sold for hundreds of millions of dollars to California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
The bold, if not entirely original or surprising prediction from Stone came during a speech he delivered during the recent Turning Point Action Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida over the weekend.
"Now, as a veteran of many years in American politics, I'm going to tell you something somewhat shocking," Stone said. "Joe Biden will not be the nominee of the Democratic party in 2024."
"Kamala Harris will briefly become president. But the only way in their party they can replace a woman of color is with another woman of color," he continued. "And yes, you heard it here first, the Democratic nominee for president will be Michelle Obama."
Following a chorus of boos and groans from the conservative audience, Stone further explained, "They have already rigged their primaries. The reason that they have canceled the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary is to put South Carolina [first], a state where a majority of Democratic primary voters are African-Americans."
"And they will allow Gavin Newsom to purchase the vice presidential nomination, but the Obamas will hold him up for six or $800 million to do so," he added and joked. "You heard it here first. When Steve Bannon says it in three weeks remember that I said it first."
I predict that Michelle Obama will be the Democrat Party Nominee for President in 2024.

Stone's claim to be the "first" to predict that former first lady Obama will be the Democratic nominee in 2024 isn't entirely accurate, as the Western Journal pointed out that its founder, Floyd Brown, as well as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA), made similar pronouncements back in May.
Further, a quick Google search for "Michelle Obama 2024" turns up countless other speculative articles from earlier in 2023 and even 2022 about the possibility of her being the 2024 Democratic nominee, as well as countless more "fact checks" debunking the notion based on Obama's own repeatedly stated complete lack of desire to serve in public office or run for the presidency.
That said, the former first lady remains hugely popular with the Democratic base and even many independent voters, far more so than President Biden or Vice President Harris, and there seems to be little doubt that she would perform quite well if she were to actually mount a campaign for the White House.
The Western Journal noted how hugely unpopular President Biden is -- not to mention Vice President Harris -- and how Biden has arguably surpassed former President Jimmy Carter, who was the last Democrat to only serve a single term in office, as the worst president of the modern era who is in real danger of losing his bid for re-election.
"Is it really so far-fetched to think that they wouldn’t tap the left’s most beloved woman of color this side of Beyonce to dodge that Democratic doomsday scenario?" the outlet mused in conclusion.
