Social media drags Biden, compares his G20 photo to that of Trump’s

President Joe Biden recently attended the annual Group of 20 Summit (G20) in Rome, Italy, where he generated yet another round of gaffes and embarrassing moments as he met with powerful world leaders.

However, social media users seemed to focus their attention on a particular “class photo” that contrasted Biden’s G20 appearance with that of his predecessor, former President Donald Trump, pointing out a stark difference between the leadership skills of the two men.

Huge difference

In the viral photo, the photo from Trump’s attendance at the summit shows him front and center, which symbolized how Trump chose to lead, especially on a world stage. He was fearless, and he used his masterful business skills to always obtain the best possible result for the United States.

In Biden’s version of the photo, which was snapped a few days ago, the 78-year-old president is nowhere near the front and center, rather, he’s literally the last person on the very left side of the image, including noticeable — and awkward — distance from the man he was standing next to.

Twitter users were quick to react, pointing out that Biden’s photo position made him appear weak, which isn’t how the United States is typically portrayed on the world stage.

Notably, in another group photo, the U.S. president was nowhere to be seen, which also led to similar commentary on Twitter. Amy Tarkanian, the former chairwoman of the Nevada GOP, captioned the photo, writing, “Where’s Joe Biden?”

Sleepy Joe

If the G20 situation wasn’t embarrassing enough for the confused and often-absent president, Biden generated even more criticism after video emerged that clearly showed the U.S. president taking a quick snooze during a climate change conference in Scotland.

According to the New York Post, the clip even caught Trump’s attention as he harkened back to his hilarious nickname for Biden, “Sleepy Joe.”

“Biden went to Europe saying Global Warming is his highest priority, and then promptly fell asleep, for all the world to see, at the Conference itself. Nobody that has true enthusiasm and belief in a subject will ever fall asleep!”

The saddest part is that Biden has only been in the White House for roughly nine months. It’s difficult to fathom how much he’ll embarrass the United States in the coming months and years.
