Jeff Sessions is reportedly considering firing Andrew McCabe before he retires

Being on President Donald Trump’s enemies list is a dangerous place to be, as one noted enemy has now been made aware.

This week it was reported that Attorney General Jeff Session is considering firing former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe days before he can retire and collect his sizeable pension.

Close To The Finish Line.

McCabe is set to retire on Sunday but people familiar with the situation have told The New York Times that Attorney General Sessions is considering firing McCabe before he can get there.

The FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility has recommended to the attorney general that he fire McCabe before Sunday based on findings in an internal Justice Department watchdog report.

The report states that McCabe misled investigators about his decision to allow members of the FBI to speak to the media in regard to the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

The report has been prepared for more than a week but has not been made available for the world to read.

The watchdog is currently investigating how the entire Clinton email investigation and other investigations were handled prior to the 2016 presidential election.

A Sworn Enemy.

McCabe was the target of many of the jabs President Donald Trump took at the FBI and its handling of the Clinton investigation on the campaign trail.

Those attacks continued after the president took office.

“in addition to his wife getting all of this money from M (Clinton Puppet), he was using, allegedly, his FBI Official Email Account to promote her campaign. You obviously cannot do this. These were the people who were investigating Hillary Clinton,” he wrote on Twitter in December 2017.

“How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin’ James Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails) be given $700,000 for wife’s campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?,” he wrote.

It is still a longshot that McCabe will be fired before he retires.

But the fact that it is being considered should scare the president’s enemies.
