“Morning Joe” Scarborough apparently does not believe we have a crisis at our borders.
In fact, the MSNBC host actually said that Americans who believe there is a crisis are “stupid.”
Did He Really Say That?
Liberals are continuing to push the narrative that if you are not in line with their beliefs, you are wrong — period.
But Scarborough took that claim to a whole new level during recent episode of his show.
In fact, he said President Donald Trump should not have even been allowed to address the nation.
“Why in the world would the networks run Donald Trump’s address tonight when we know that Donald Trump is going to be using it to spread these lies?” he lamented.
He later added: “At this point, I’ve got to say, how stupid are Americans who still believe there’s a crisis on the southern border?”
Doubting the Crisis
Scarborough seems to believe that everyone trying to cross the border is a good person.
But even if that were the case — which it is not — immigration still needs to be controlled.
In addition to terrorists who are getting lost in the shuffle, there are gang members, rapists, murders, drug dealers, and human traffickers using our loose borders to enter this country.
While Scarborough may not consider these people a threat, most of the “stupid” Americans in this country do.
Suckers, Fools, and Fake News
Alas, demeaning Trump supporters seems to be a common theme in the liberal media today, with Scarborough pouring it on later during his show.
“They played you for suckers, they played you for fools, and I know that makes you angry,” he claimed in an address to Trump supporters.
But the only thing most Trump supporters are actually angry about is the fact that our elected representatives cannot get anything done in Washington.
Both sides continue to stand on the line, daring someone else to cross it.
Meanwhile, President Trump was forced to shut down the government in an effort to get Dems to come to the table — and even that is still not working.
Scarborough may not think we are in a state of emergency, but there are millions of Americans who disagree with him, and we aren’t backing down.
