White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders made an appearance on Fox News this weekend, much to the dismay of CNN.
Joined by her father, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who was filling in for Sean Hannity, Sanders said that if a reporter like CNN’s Jim Acosta cannot act like an adult, the network should send someone else.
Brian Stelter of CNN was livid after Sanders made her comments.
Not so surprisingly, he twisted her words while making his point against her over the weekend.
After taking a cheap shot at Fox News, he said that the White House does not get to decide who covers the White House; the networks do.
But at no point did Sanders say she wanted to dictate who was covering the administration.
All she did was recommend that the reporters sent act like adults.
Sanders only mentioned Acosta specifically because of his recent conduct.
Stelter’s comments are just more fake news from CNN, although we have come to expect that since Donald Trump won the presidency.
Remember the coverage during the election?
How many times has CNN been caught coaching response panels to make specific comments or ask specific questions?
Every time this was found to have happened, it was always something negative toward Trump.
The outlet has also reported flat-out false stories at times.
They literally cheered on air when they thought a story was going to force Trump to resign or Congress to impeach him.
In other words: at no time has CNN reported this administration fairly.
Additionally, Stelter insinuated that Fox News is in bed with President Trump, but that network has more than its share of reporters reporting truthfully about this administration — whether the stories are positive or negative.
Can anyone seriously question the integrity of someone like Fox’s Chris Wallace?
We would have to ask CNN why this major network was the last to report the huge story of Michael Avenatti being arrested on domestic abuse charges.
Was that because Avenatti is a regular contributor, usually bashing Trump to boost their pathetic ratings?
CNN and its so-called journalists need to take a hard look in the mirror before casting any more stones in the general vicinity of Sarah Sanders and Fox News.
