Robert Mueller is apparently trying to get his hands on another Russian citizen, but that is not going to happen.
After lawyers were unable to ensure that Russian pop star Emin Agalarov wouldn’t be detained by Mueller’s team if he came to the United States, the singer postponed his upcoming tour.
Dear Friends, due to circumstances beyond my control, I am forced to postpone my scheduled US and Canadian tour, basically i have been put in this position against my will. I bring my apologies to everyone. Я вынужден отложить тур по США и Канаде. Приношу свои искренние извинения pic.twitter.com/w7uyUnl63s

The Tangled Web
The thread that ties all of this together goes all the way back to when Donald Trump held the Miss Universe Pageant in Russia in 2013.
At the time, the Trump Organization was looking to expand into Russia.
The pageant was an ideal way for Trump to get introduced to some of the movers and shakers in the country.
Emin Agalarov was booked as one of the entertainers for the event.
He also happens to be the son of one of the major real estate investors in Russia.
That being the case, he was able to make several introductions for Trump so he could test the waters about building a new Trump Tower in Moscow.
Eventually, the plan was abandoned.
However, that connection is apparently what intrigues Mueller, which is why he wants to question the entertainer.
According to reports, Agalarov, who is listed as a person of interest in the Mueller investigation, has no problem about talking to Mueller — he just does not want to find himself behind bars for doing so.
“I have the feeling that the U.S. side doesn’t have good intentions—that they have a desire, given this anti-Russian hysteria, to turn me, a well-known person, into a circus show,” he worried.
That being said, his legal team is reportedly in discussion with Mueller’s office to ensure that if he does come to America to speak to Mueller, he will be able to leave freely.
What we need to remember is that prior to running for office, Donald Trump was a businessman with significant ties all around the world, just like George Bush did before entering public service.
Just because Trump knew these individuals does not mean they all got together to try to rig the election in Trump’s favor.
It is worth noting the meeting that eventually did take place was presented on false pretenses by the Russians.
It is also worth noting all of this material has been looked at before by Mueller and the conclusion was there was no direct collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians regarding the presidential election.
Currently, the DNC continues to pursue this narrative, having filed a lawsuit last year alleging both Emin Agalarov and his father were part of this mass conspiracy, which is more than likely why Mueller wants to talk to him personally.
Our expectation would be that if and when Mueller finally talks to Agalarov, the suspicions will be put to rest and the DNC case will be dismissed.
