Resignation letter from General Mark Milley revealed in upcoming book

A resignation letter from Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Mark Milley to former President Donald Trump was recently revealed and its contents have left Americans stunned.

The letter was drafted days after protestors were cleared from Lafayette Square outside the White House on June 1, 2020, during the violent protests following the death of George Floyd. The letter accused Trump of dividing the nation and politicizing the military.

Ultimately General Milley chose to remain in his position and continues to plague Americans with his woke politics and treasonous behavior.

An activist in general’s clothes

Milley has become a familiar figure to Americans thanks to his woke advocacy and leftist activism in our military.

He is just one of dozens of generals playing the political games in Washington and that largely explains his eagerness to throw Trump under the bus.

The resignation letter was revealed in the book ‘The Divider’ by journalists Susan Glasser and Peter Baker. Milley wrote in the letter that “It is my belief that you [President Trump] were doing great and irreparable harm to my country. I believe that you have made a concerted effort over time to politicize the United States military. I thought that I could change that. I’ve come to the realization that I cannot, and I need to step aside and let someone else try to do that.”

Trump’s great sin in the eyes of General Milley was that violent and unruly protestors be cleared, by force if necessary.

Many Americans watched in shock and horror as the Capitol was besieged by protestors who were unopposed and smashed businesses and set fires. In the end, billions of dollars in damage had been done and Trump’s desire to show the slightest amount of force was reasonable.

But leftists like General Milley didn’t see it that way as those protestors were on the right side of the political spectrum and as such deserved carte blanche. Knowing that, the contents of Milley’s resignation letter are far from surprising.

Another fixture of the swamp

Donald Trump was opposed at every turn by the swamp, and that included the Department of Defense and its many politician-Generals.

If Trump returns to the Oval Office in 2024, he will do so knowing that not even supposedly non-partisan Generals and Admirals can be trusted.

Milley believed Trump to be a dictator but has so far been perfectly happy working under President Joe Biden. Republicans would do well to target individuals like Milley when it comes to cleaning house and finally draining the swamp.
