Rep. Omar promotes herself as the savior of the United States

As conservatives continue to demand the removal of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from office, liberals continue to build her up and protect her.

Omar herself has fed into this narrative, using her immigrant story to promote herself and bash America as though she’s some kind of outsider who is able to see its problems more than someone who grew up here.

This is an insult to patriotic immigrants who love this country. Mix this with her history of America-bashing, and it’s easy to see what her angle is. She thinks America is not as great as is advertised — she’s wrong.

The Omar Profile

Rep. Omar recently had a profile done by a site that is about as far left as you can get.  It told the story of a young lady that came to America for a better life.

It told the story of a woman that wanted to make a difference as well as fighting for progression for people of color.

However, it also tells a story that clearly has an underlying hatred for a country for which she now represents in Congress.

Omar stated, “When I arrived, I saw these American ideals, but there was still work need to be done in full realization of it.”

Where Does She Get Off?

Most conservatives are sick and tired of hearing liberals rip our country apart.

What is even more bothersome is when someone like Omar says this country was never really great and still has a long way to go to even be in that conversation.

If that was the case, then why did she work so hard to get here? Without America, how far behind would the Civil Rights movement be right now? Without America, where would women stand globally?

When you look throughout history, America is first in line for virtually every movement that improved the rights of a specific niche or race of individuals.

Nobody is saying America is perfect, but it is great. Even during our darkest moments, America was still the greatest country in the world.
