Rep. Nadler slams Rittenhouse not guilty verdict, pushes for DOJ intervention

Congressional Democrats were having a fairly exciting day on Friday as they finally managed to pass President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Act. However, those smiles quickly turned to frowns as a jury in Kenosha, Wisconsin issued five not guilty decisions, acquitting Kyle Rittenhouse of all charges.

According to the Washington Examiner, a growing list of Democrats have issued blatantly false statements claiming that the case was a “miscarriage of justice,” including Rep. Jerry Nadler, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, who went as far as calling for a Justice Department intervention in the case with the hopes of federally charging Rittenhouse.

“This heartbreaking verdict is a miscarriage of justice and sets a dangerous precedent which justifies federal review by DOJ. Justice cannot tolerate armed persons crossing state lines looking for trouble while people engage in First Amendment-protected protest,” Nadler tweeted.

Nadler was one of a long list of Democrats who came out of the woodwork following the verdict announcement in a desperate attempt to keep the false “white supremacist” narrative alive — a narrative originally pushed by then-candidate Joe Biden, as Fox News reported.

More Dem lies

“Our justice system is broken. It protects white supremacy. The two people who were killed deserved justice and so did our communities who continue be targeted with violence like this,” far-left “Squad” Rep. Rashida Tlaib tweeted after the verdict.

Not to be outdone, the newest “Squad” member, Rep. Cori Bush (R-MO), went as far as saying that the Rittenhouse verdict is an example of “white supremacy in action.”

“The judge. The jury. The defendant. It’s white supremacy in action. This system isn’t built to hold white supremacists accountable. It’s why Black and brown folks are brutalized and put in cages while white supremacist murderers walk free. I’m hurt. I’m angry. I’m heartbroken,” Bush wrote.

Other radical progressive Dems called for a complete overhaul of the criminal justice system, and in true progressive fashion, managed to segue into a call for gun law reform in America.

Defamation suits?

Many believe that Rittenhouse will soon be a wealthy young man, as he was unfairly and falsely defamed not only from our elected leaders, but from the vast majority of the mainstream media, even long before the trial was over.

As Fox News noted, Todd McMurtry, the lawyer who helped Nicholas Sandmann win mountains of money in defamation lawsuits last year against the left-leaning media, said recently that Rittenhouse will likely have the same outcome, even including a lawsuit against President Joe Biden, who was not an elected leader at the time he called Rittenhouse a white supremacist in a campaign ad.

Wendy Rittenhouse, the mother of the defendant, told Fox’s Sean Hannity last week that she was angry at Biden for how he falsely portrayed her son at the time.

“He’s not a racist. And [Biden] did that for the votes. And I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son. He defamed him,” she said.
