Rep. Kevin McCarthy Predicts Indictment Of James Comey

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was on Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo today. And he made some very bold claims about the future of James Comey and Andrew McCabe.

McCarthy predicts that the former FBI leaders will be pronounced guilty for their alleged abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act in the Russia investigation they used to target President Donald Trump.

McCarthy says that once Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz releases his report regarding the acts of Comey and McCabe, they’ll have nowhere to hide because everyone will know that it was a “coup” against the president.

Fox News reports:

“House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., promised that guilty parties will be held accountable after Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz releases his report on the FBI’s alleged abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in the Russia investigation, and predicted that former bureau leaders James Comey and Andrew McCabe will face criminal charges after what he described as an attempted ‘coup’ to take down President Trump.”

McCarthy also had some great things to say about Attorney General William Barr:

“We came the closest ever to this country having a coup, and now we need accountability. I respect this attorney general so greatly, that the way he has handled this, he believes in accountability, but more importantly, he believes in the rule of law.”

According to Fox, when McCarthy was asked if there will really be accountability for the abuses against President Trump, McCarthy promised emphatically, “Yes.”

Good. I’m pretty sure most Americans are aware that Trump was unfairly targeted by the FBI. The entire Russia hoax was a fabrication so that government officials could rationalize torturing him by abusing their authority.

Andrew McCabe and James Comey really were just angry that Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016. There’s honestly no denying that was their REAL motivation for bullying the president.

Revenge should play no role in how the FBI conducts investigations. That’s why they should all be punished for their actions.

If they’re found guilty of these abuses, they undoubtedly deserve jail time. Period.
